Dog Miniseries in Minecraft 1.21 Update

Introduction

  • New update: Eight brand new dogs added in Minecraft 1.21
  • Objective: Explore biomes, find dogs, and bring them back to create a dog home ("domestication by force").
  • Unique series within the hardcore series, releasing videos over the next two Fridays.

Exploration Starts: The Grove Biome

  • Initial search in the Grove biome, a rare biome with snowy wolf spawns.
  • Difficulty in finding snowy dogs due to their color blending in with the environment.
  • The Grove biome contains a snowy wolf, but also encountered a pale dog (later named Carson, after a friend).

Gathering Supplies

  • Recollecting bones and leads for taming the dogs.
  • Found useful chests while exploring.

Building and Planning the Dog Home

  • Plan to build individual sections for each dog breed.
  • Chopping trees to create space for a dog Wonderland.
  • Initial setup includes nine frames for different breeds' homes.

Finding More Dogs

  • Search continued in various biomes: the Old Growth Pine Tiger and Wooded Badlands.
  • Encountered frustration in locating the Woods wolf, the most common biome yet challenging to find the specific dog.

Charity Initiative

  • For National Dog Month in August, every subscriber will result in a $0.05 donation to a charity for homeless pets.
  • Goal: Significant donations based on subscriber growth (potentially $25,000).

Collecting Dogs

  • Woods Wolf: Found after significant searching, considered cute and listed as A tier for the rating system.
  • Black Wolf: Another successful find, ranked amidst other dogs.
  • Chestnut Wolf: Found in the Old Growth Spruce Tiger, ranked D.

Building Dog Thrones

  • Created podiums for each dog with themed biomes around them.
  • Podiums established for Woods, Black, Chestnut, and Pale wolves.

Continuing the Search

  • Focus shifted to Rusty, Spotted, Striped, and Snowy wolves.
  • Encountered multiple biomes and continued efforts to locate these elusive dogs.

Final Dog Hunts

  • Rusty Wolf: Successfully found and ranked B.
  • Striped Wolf: Found in Woodland Badlands, ranked D for its unique appearance.
  • Snowy Wolf: Last dog found; considered less special and ranked below F due to the challenges faced in finding it.

Final Thoughts on the Series

  • Each dog is built their unique home, creating the overall dog Wonderland.
  • The black wolf is declared the S tier dog due to its stealthy and unique appeal.

Closing Remarks

  • Encouraged followers to submit their dog photos for a chance to be featured.
  • New plushy coming out on August 30th.
  • Reminder to subscribe for the charity initiative and to follow for more content.
