Mastering Heart Failure Study Plan

So Allison reached out to me recently who is a nursing student and said that she struggled with her last cardiac exam because she was struggling with heart failure. Not her personally, but struggling with learning heart failure. So I wanted to make you guys a quick study plan on heart failure, you know, which you can actually get here in the NCLEX flash notes and it's on page 14 and 15. If you've already downloaded that free download, you can follow along as I make this study plan.

So we're going to go over this, go over heart failure. Again, it's page 13 and 14. If you want to follow along in your NCLEX flash notes with some sir you've seen, it's all over the internet and stuff, so you can just download it. But let's dive in here and I'm going to make a study plan that Allison can use to master heart failure.

All right, so let's come over here first to nursing.com. We have our heart failure lesson, which has all of our illustrations. What we want to do actually is we want to build a study plan based around heart failure to help Allison really master this topic. So let's go over here to study plans and this is where you can build a study plan for whatever you need, but let's build one specific to heart failure so that we can help Allison.

So let's say heart failure, let's call it John's favorite. We don't need to put a date in, but let's search for some heart failure lessons to build this study plan. So we search in heart failure there. See here we have a congestive heart failure concept map. Let's throw that in there.

That'll be really helpful Here's our heart failure lessons got 16 questions for mnemonics two cheat sheets and five images Let's throw fluid volume overload in there, too. I think that would be helpful Let's throw in congestive heart failure labs. So that brings us to four lessons. What would be good is to have a care plan in here.

Here's a nursing care plan for congestive heart failure. Let's throw that in there. So we have five lessons here and I think as she studies these five lessons she's going to really master congestive heart failure but also master things around it right with the concept map, the food volume overload, and the labs. I think this will be the best way to really master it.

So let's save it and let's share it with the community and this way you guys can come in here and access it too. Let's see. I'm close to Portland Community College, so we'll do that.

We'll say it's MedSurge. Concept is, let's do fluid and electrolyte balance. No textbook, and we could share that with the community.

And now, you guys can access that too. So, if we come over here to... the lesson plan we can just start studying immediately but what you can also do for you guys if you come in here and you want to find this you can do the Portland Community College and there it is for you so study plan for flutenelectrolyte imbalance and that is one you guys can study from so if you want to use this same study plan that we made for allison you come in here and start studying that and this will take you directly in to study this there you go i hope that helps and happy nursing
