Preparation Guide for Coding Rounds

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. I hope you guys are doing extremely well. So today on this channel I'll be launching my third sheet that is the CR sheet or the coding round sheet. Prior to this I've launched couple of sheets that is the HD sheet and the CP sheet. Now the HD sheet and the CP sheet have been doing amazingly well.

the SD sheet has notched up around 500 plus success stories. Yes, people have utilized that sheet and landed up at companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Google and all these top product-based companies by using that SD sheet and I've also made around 100 plus problem solution videos on that SD sheet. So if you haven't checked that out yet, you can definitely check that out after watching this video and I've also made a CP sheet prior to this for people who are practicing competitive programming. It has around 400-450 problems on every topic that is required to become a Candidate Master Master level at Codeforces. Now you might think then why is this she or she needed?

Now generally the coding rounds that happen in Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe and companies like who have similar level of coding rounds as these do not ask questions which are extremely tough as Codeforces or Codechef. Now a company like Media.net or a coordination or a direct tie does ask you questions which are very tough or which are from Codeforces or Codechef. But when it comes to Amazon and all, they don't ask it.

But what do they ask? They ask a slight variation of an algorithm, right? Whereas CodeNation or Media.net ask a very huge variety of the algorithm.

So that's why you have to do competitive programming in order to pack Media.net or CodeNation. But if you do algorithms, yes, if you know algorithmic implementation and a slight constructive thinking is there, you can definitely crank the coding rounds of Amazon, Microsoft and these companies. So that is why what I've done is I have prepared a...

coding round sheet which can be useful to you let's say if you have your placements four months down from today you can use this shia sheet in order to practice all the common algorithms that does appear in coding round because i have been i've been seeing a lot of questions from coding rounds from the last three years and i figured out what are the common algorithms that generally appear in these coding rounds of companies so i have not i've just made a sheet of them and i've attached questions yes for every algorithm i've attached a question so that if you solve that question you have an idea about how to implement that algorithm so that if that question comes up in a coding round you can definitely use that algorithm to implement so before moving to the shear sheet let me tell you about a scholarship test which is organized by coding ninjas so what is coding ninjas coding ninjas is basically a platform that provides you with courses related to c plus plus java python machine learning web development full stack development android development and a lot of other premium courses are available on their website Now these courses are of extremely high quality because they have been made by faculties who have studied at Stanford, IIT Delhi and have worked at Amazon, Facebook, Google and all the other top product based companies. Now the best thing about these courses are you get a dedicated teaching assistant who is going to solve your doubts via audio and video calls and in the least amount of time. So now let me tell you about the scholarship test. It's been organized on 19 June 9 pm and the syllabus of that is very easy 30 aptitude based MCQs.

So you are guaranteed to get a minimal of 10% scholarship and a maximal of 100% scholarship. Now whatever scholarship you get can be applied over the discount that is already present on their website. So if you take up any of the courses you are guaranteed to get an industry ready certificate. So guys I will be leaving the link in the description go and check it out. So prior to this I had launched couple of sheets that was the SD sheet.

You can check this SD sheet. It has around 180 problems. Now this is specifically for interviews yes the question that i asked in one is to one interview it's specifically for that and i have added video solutions for around 100 problems yes so you can definitely check it out and why do you trust this sheet because it had around 500 plus success stories you can check out the success stories at my instagram handle and i have stopped adding the success stories at my instagram because so much of success stories that i could not add it up daily and there's one more sheet that is the cp sheet over here it's specifically for competitive programming if you want to be a very good competitive programmer you can follow this sheet this is going to teach you every algorithm it has specifically hand-picked problems on the algorithms so you don't have to search here and there in order to get a very specific question on an algorithm so you can definitely follow this if you are preparing for competitive programming now the shia sheet comes up as you can see for competitive programming for every algorithm there are 10 uh 10 problems around And the problems are very tough.

Like first couple of problems are easy. But after that, the level of problems go like increases. So that is where the shear sheet comes in. For let's say you have four months, six months around for placements.

You just do the algorithms. For example, binary search. You do it.

And you do the problems. Prefix sum. Primes.

Divide and conquer. String. Tree algorithms. Graph algorithms. Disjoint set.

Segment trees. Dynamic programming. I haven't added problems to dynamic programming because, you know, dynamic programming is so vast. You have to...

to do problems from SD sheet and if you do that it will moreover cover dynamic programming but for something like graph algorithms I have specifically mentioned which which questions generally appear in coding round so please make sure you do them do not leave them apart so these are the most common ten algorithms that do appear in coding rounds so guys before going to a coding round make sure you check them out and make sure you solve these problems because that will give you an idea about the algorithm and when the question comes up just figure out the storyline and once you figured out i think you should be able to solve this problem now one more important thing i want to mention over here is please make sure while you're preparing for placements if there is a lead code contest going on make sure you go and participate if there's a code forces contest going on even if you're not able to solve three problems then also go and participate because that adrenaline rush that comes in when you participate in contests that will help you in order to clear coding rounds yeah you might not perform well in coding rounds of code forces but the timer that goes in will actually help you to ease out when you're participating in a coding round because if you just go and sit in the coding round you will be very very nervous and you might not perform to your best of capabilities so that is why please make sure if you're preparing for placements if there is a contest going on just go and give it if you are thinking if you're scared of your ratings then just make a profile and give it just give it for practicing because giving contest is one of the most important things for cracking coding rounds so guys i hope you have watched the video till now just in case you did please make sure you like this video and please make sure you share the sheet among your juniors among your college among in all the whatsapp groups in telegram groups everywhere please share this sheet because this is gonna be a very very handy material for preparation including the sd sheet if you're preparing for product based companies with this let's wrap up this video let's meet in some other video where we will be discussing something else bye bye take care
