to wake yourself up because this just leads you to hourless scrolling trust me I've been there before so instead you can make a morning playlist with chill songs and listen to it or read a book that inspires you and here are some I really recommend you can also listen to motivational podcast I love these ones or look at a Pinterest board with your goals or your favorite quotes all these things get you in the perfect mindset to start the day make your bed William mcraven said in a speech so if you want to change the world start off by making your bed and for me this is kind of true cuz I figured if I don't make my bed in the morning I'll be more tempted to jump right back in so making my bed helps me to put my mind in a productive State and like he said starting this little task will motivate you to do another one and another one and another one till you vent eventually have an overall productive day make a vision board the easiest way to stay productive is to have a clear goal in mind so make a vision board that motivates you just by looking at it you can do this by looking at pictures from Pinterest that visualize your goals then print them out and glue everything on a board but you can also make a vision board on your phone and set it as a background looking at it helps you to be more focused on achieving your goals and give you a boost of motivation each day stack your habits the easiest way to start new habits that seem hard for you is to Habit stack like for example cleaning your room while listening to a podcast or exercising while watching Netflix take something that you have to do and pair it with something that you like to do and if you keep doing this you're eventually going to look forward to doing hard things consume positive content if you feel like you constantly compare yourself with people online or you're consuming too much content so you have no energy to do anything you have an unhealthy relationship with your phone instead find out how your phone can benefit you consume content that inspires you only follow accounts that make you feel confident listen to self-help podcasts and use apps that motivate you like Pinterest I use it to look up Journal prompts make healthy recipe boards look up art ideas or crochet ideas so I really recommend it PL your day planning out my day had such a big impact in my life because if I don't have any strict plans I tend to procrastinate because I just tell myself I'll do it later but what really helps is to write down the task with a clear time like at 9:00 a.m. you're going to clean your room for 20 minutes or between 2: and 3:00 p.m. you're going to study this way you have no excuses and it's also like a challenge for yourself to accomplish these things in time there are also apps like notion that help you plan out your day or your week and this just helps so much to have a clear mind and to stay productive create the alter ego the world's most confident people have created an alter ego to step out of their comfort zone and become their highest selves so what is an alter ego you basically create a version of you that is everything you want to become give them a cool name and traits that you Aspire make your weaknesses their strengths and your insecurities their confidence so now whenever you're in a social setting and you feel insecure or you just can't get things done let your Alter Ego take over and eventually you don't need to pretend it will just be you journaling journaling is like self therapy for me because whenever I'm feeling down and I write about what's affecting me I realize what's the deeper problem I have and where it comes from and this is so important because by uncovering the parts of yourself that you ually repress you can take the first step of becoming the best version of you so here are some questions that really help me but there are also many other prompts you can use that get you in a positive mindset like asking yourself what you're grateful for in the morning or naming things you are proud of today in the evening eliminate distractions whenever I'm working on something my phone is one of the biggest distractions so here are some tips to stay focused hi your phone somewhere and turn turn off the notifications or film yourself with time lapse so you'll be less tempted to stop recording you can also set an app limit just in case you use your phone there are also apps that help you stay focused like Flora where you set a timer and if you don't use your phone in that time you can grow these pretty plants another super cute app is study bunny where you also set a timer and by staying Focus you can earn coins to buy your bunny cute things spend your time wisely it's really important what you spend your time and energy on because it influences how you feel and what your life will look like so do things that make you happy and fulfill you like painting reading baking thrifting crafting moving your body or spending time with your loved ones I'm sure we all don't want to look back at our lives regretting that we spend most of the time staring at a screen so let the things that you do in your everyday life reflect you as a person waking up early waking up early helped me so much with my mental health cuz before I used to hit snooze 20 times till I woke up eventually at 12:00 p.m. and then I would still feel tired the whole day but by waking up early I have this time just for myself where I can Journal read and do my skin care this way I'm in a far more positive mindset that motivates me to stay productive the whole day youif find second rule when you don't want to do something but you know you really should like for example get out of bed or go outside for a walk use the 5-second rule most of the time when we procrastinate we just need that final push to get us started so all it takes is to countdown from five and when you get to one take action this method takes you from overthinking to action mode immediately and once you took that first step you have a 80% higher chance of continuing your task have a rest and recharge time social media makes us feel like we have to be productive 24/7 when that's really not realistic so have some time whether that's in the morning or in the evening where you do whatever makes you happy there's also going to be days where you don't feel okay so it's really important to give yourself a resting day where you really feel the emotions and that yourself heal remember that it's totally okay to have bumps on the road or hard days but that your mind just be de so after you've healed get up and get back on track tidy up your space every night set a timer for 10 minutes every single night before you go to sleep and pick up the clutter in your room because having a clean and refreshed space that you can wake up to is one of the most motivating things to keep you excited about your day take yourself on a date I love to take myself on solo dates because it gets me out of my comfort zone and helps me reset this can be reading a book in the park going to a bookstore getting a drink in a coffee shop or going to a thrift store whenever I'm stressed I love to spend time by myself because it's so relaxing and it also gives me time to clear my thoughts so this is the end of the video and I hope that 2024 is going to be your year and you become the best version of yourself thanks for watching and see you in the next [Music] video [Music]
