Carry-On Items

  • Ensure all carry-on items are securely stowed:
    • Overhead compartment for larger items.

  • Tampering with lavatory smoke detectors is a serious offense.

Electronic Devices

Seatbelt Instructions

  • Fasten seatbelt throughout the flight, especially during takeoff and landing:
    • Insert metal end into buckle until you hear a click.
    • To tighten: pull loose end of strap.
    • To release: lift top of buckle and pull free end.
  • Fasten seatbelt over blanket for visibility.

Emergency Procedures

  • Oxygen Masks:
    • Masks drop automatically in case of rapid cabin pressure change.
    • Pull mask towards you, place over nose and mouth, and breathe normally.
    • Put on your mask first before assisting others.
    • Keep mask on until advised to remove.
  • Emergency Exits:
    • Clearly marked along cabin sides.
    • Locate nearest exit (may be behind you).
    • In emergency landings, remove sharp objects and await further instructions.
  • Water Landing:
    • Life vest located under the seat or in center console.
    • To use life vest:
      • Place over head, wrap belt around waist, buckle.
      • Inflate by pulling down inflation cords or blowing through mouth tube.
      • Release air by pushing pin inwards.
      • Inflate only outside the aircraft.
      • Vest light activates upon submersion in water.

Pre-Takeoff and Landing Reminders

  • Ensure:
    • Seatbelt is fastened.
    • Footrest, tray table, and in-seat monitor are stowed.
    • Window shade is raised.
    • Seat is in upright position.
