Definition and Role

Types of Organizations

  1. Utilitarian Organizations

  3. Coercive Organizations

McDonaldization

  • Principles: Efficiency, calculability, predictability, control.

    • Example: Standardization in movie theaters (e.g., ticket systems, concession stands, pre-show entertainment).
