[Music] when a person becomes a Christian the Bible teaches that they experience a profound transformation here are several reasons rooted in scripture explaining why Born Again Christians should not have demons first the Bible says that when a person is in Christ they are a new creation in 2 Corinthians 5:17 it states therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation the old has passed away behold the new has come this means that the old life including any past bondage or demonic influence has been done away with the believer is now made new in Christ secondly the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within Believers according to 1 Corinthians 6:19 do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you whom you have from God you are not your own since the Holy Spirit resides within a Christian there is no room for demonic forces to cohabit with God's spirit the Holy Spirit drives out Darkness offering protection and guidance another key point is that Christians have been given authority over demonic powers in Luke 10:19 Jesus himself says behold I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt you this Authority empowers Christians to overcome demonic forces making it clear that Believers have the upper hand over the enemy and should not be under demonic control moreover scripture teaches that Christians have been delivered from the power of Darkness Colossians 1:13 tells us he has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son Born Again Believers have been rescued from spiritual bondage and placed into the Light of Christ no longer under demonic influence additionally Christians are called to have no fellowship with darkness in Ephesians 5'8 the Bible says for at one time you were Darkness but now you are light in the Lord walk as children of light as children of light Christians are meant to reflect the Light of Christ this leaves no place for demonic influence as their lives are marked by the presence of God's light finally the Bible declares that jesus' death and Resurrection secured victory over the powers of Darkness Colossians 2:15 explains he disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open Shame by triumphing over them in him Jesus Victory is applied to all believers ensuring that demonic forces are defeated and Christians can live in this victory free from demonic possession to summarize Born Again Christians are a new creation filled with the Holy Spirit and transferred from Darkness into the Kingdom of Light they walk in the authority of Christ who has already won the victory over demonic Powers so let the truth of the Gospel be your portion you are free indeed in Jesus name [Music]
