It's one of the most famous hotels here. And look at the view that we got here.

This is downtown Singapore, right here. You can see the entire city from right here. If anybody wants to play soccer, I really want to play soccer right here.

That's so cool. Let me give you a quick tour of the observation deck and what you can see from here. Actually below me there are these famous gardens called Gardens by the Bay.

I'm going to try to get a good shot of them. Let me show you here. I'm going to walk a little bit more so you can see the Gardens by the Bay from the observation deck here.

Look at this. It's so beautiful. You guys can see it down there.

We're gonna go there later, maybe tomorrow, so I can give you a tour of what it looks like. You can see all the cargo ships as well, transporting goodies for everybody. So the Marina Bay Sands is right above me. That's where I was showing you the observation deck, where you can see the entire downtown area and the whole city of Singapore. So it is that one.

It's very famous. It's one of the most famous buildings. If you ever Google Singapore, this is one of the first images that will show up.

So that's it. a very cool hotel the night there costs anywhere from $500 a night and all the way up depending on how fancy you can get I'm not getting fancy at all because I'm not staying there but yeah just wanted to show you guys what the Marina Bay Sands looks like and here is downtown Now the shopping center and the food is just incredible everything looks so good I've never seen a mall with so much delicious food all in one place. Look at this guys, this is incredible. I'm so overwhelmed right now I don't know what I want I want it all and that would be it that's good yeah So I'm ordering food here.

Yeah, do it! I'm so excited everything looks amazing. Guys the food here is from my mother world.

This is incredible. I am so overwhelmed right now and I'm so so excited. This food looks so amazing. Probably the best food I've ever seen and tasted in my life.

Yeah, I'm gonna stop this video right now because it's time to eat. Hey guys, so I'm at the Marina Bay Shopping Center. It's like a mall and it's probably the most luxurious mall I have ever seen in my life.

There are only luxurious brands, like everybody looks just perfect. Everybody's wearing luxury brands. Everybody looks so rich and perfect in some crazy way.

I feel like I'm so out of place with my fashion because I have no fashion sense whatsoever. But um... Yeah, this is Singapore my friends.

This is Singapore. Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga. Hairy wheels.

I mean you got it all, you name it. Whatever brand you're looking for that is very expensive, it's definitely here. And I'm not buying any of it.

I'm just buying ice cream, grape juice, and delicious food. Hey guys, right now I'm in Gardens by the Bay here in Singapore. This is a structure of different gardens and artificial forest that they created.

And it's very beautiful. It's truly incredible. Right now, what it's called the Skyway view, where you can connect to different artificial trees that they created through this bridge.

It's truly, truly incredible. I'm just fascinated by the level of detail that Singapore puts into their attractions and all the city elements. It makes you feel that you're in truly a futuristic world. Right in front of me, you have the Marina Bay Sands and downtown Singapore.

And I'm going to continue exploring this beautiful, beautiful place. Something really cool about the Cloud Forest is that right now they have the what is called the Avatar experience. So inside the forest they added creatures from the Avatar world trying to pretty much give people the experience of being in the Pandora world from Avatar. So if you're an Avatar, definitely come to the Avatar experience here at the Cloud Forest in the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.

Huge Avatar fan and here at the Cloud Forest they are doing an amazing job with the Avatar experience We are completing the tour of Pandora, you can see one of the creatures from the Pandora world, this is the flying one Look at this guys, it looks so so realistic Banshee! I don't want to fly one. Fly here. Okay, here we go. Alright, let's go.

Let's go! Fly! Fly!

Fly! Fly! Go!

Go! Can we move it? Yes, we can move it.

Yes! Come on! This is amazing!

I'm in Pandora! Ok guys, I do feel like I'm in Pandora right now. around the financial district these buildings are really tall they're beautiful the majority of them are banks like JP Morgan Chase China Bank Citibank you name it all of them are here it's a city where you can feel the power right the power the money I'm sure some really great things happen maybe some some not so good things happen too I'm going to show you guys for you to get a feel of the city in the financial district.

Very modern, modern city. Very beautiful. Singapore is one of the safest countries in the world. I think they are the 9th safest country in the world. Everywhere I walk I feel safe.

I actually have not seen a single homeless person since I got here 3 or 4 days ago. I haven't seen drug addicts on the streets which is very common in the streets of the United States. I'm seeing it a lot in Costa Rica also as well where I grew up. Which is very safe. That is a big problem, but I haven't seen that here.

I haven't seen crime or nothing suspicious per se and and that's something that the gosh I wish I'm trying to figure out how can other countries learn from Singapore to have a safe society where people can walk on the streets without feeling insecure this is the downtown area I have been walking around the financial district just exploring the city I don't have a plan right now for the rest of the day so I just decided to start walking it's Sunday right now at 6 p.m. so everything is closed all the corporate offices are closed but yeah this is downtown financial district Singapore I'm exploring Chinatown right now. This is the Buddha temple.

It's closed right now. I wasn't able to go in because they close at 5 and it's already 6, almost 30. Very sad, say goodbye A lot of businesses are closed in Chinatown right now It's Sunday 6.30pm All the temples are closed But I found a party guys I found a party, look at this Here The more you open the more you look The more you see the more you look The more flowers you see the more you look The more flowers you see the more you look I don't know. Welcome to the The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The The I'm gonna go to the aquarium it's called the SEA aquarium the Singapore aquarium I'm super pumped to see what we find today Guys the variety of fish here is just incredible.

I just saw a hammer shark. I also saw a manta ray. Hopefully I can get some shots of it once it comes back.

Eagle rays too. There is the manta ray right there guys. Look at that beauty.

So perfect. You know it's a manta ray because it has the two horns in front of it. That's how you know it is a manta ray.

There's a lobel coming this way right in front of me. Look at that. Look at that beauty. It's going up.

Wow. Singapore Aquarium. I highly recommend it.

It is worth it. It's worth it to see this beauty. Hey guys, I'm in Sentosa Island This is an island adjacent to Singapore. It is owned by Singapore so they have a lot of Real nature experience this year.

Some fun facts about Singapore. The size of Singapore is about 714 square kilometers, so it's similar to the size of New York City. It has a population of 5 million people.

The language they speak here, the main language is Singaporean English or Singlish. It's a combination of English with slang words from Singapore. So it's really fun when I speak with people they have a They use the ending at the end of every sentence. Many people sometimes end the words with an expression like A or E. So for example, oh you're from San Francisco, ah.

Oh is this your first time in Singapore, eh? You know, so they finish their sentences like that, which is really fun to listen to. Other than the Singaporean English, they also speak Mandarin and Malay or Malayan is the language from Malaysia.

So here you usually hear people speak in Singaporean English. And they are a combination of Mandarin and Malaysian. So people in Singapore what I'm finding out is that there are a combination of people from Malaysia and China.

So there is that mix. And then people, even Singapore is so small that likelihood is that if people are from here, from Singapore, they have a mixture of those two cultures. So that's something I have been learning.

So sometimes I ask people, so how long have you lived here or where are you? Are you originally from here from Singapore? and they say yes but they have those two roots either Malaysian roots or Chinese roots ingrained in Singaporean culture is a very diverse environment so that's what I'm learning so far so it's fascinating it's a fascinating city but even with that you find people here from all over the world you find people from India you find people from Europe you find people from Middle Eastern countries I haven't seen many people from Latin America I'm actually probably the only Latino I have seen here having heard really anybody speak Spanish but the majority of people I have seen here are Chinese Malaysian Indian Bangladeshi and then a little bit of everything else but those are kind of They're the main ones I'm seeing so yeah it's interesting. I'm walking here on this beautiful trail. It's really really awesome.

It's very peaceful and beautiful. I'm hoping to find some animals but I'm not seeing any yet. But if I do, I'll show you guys for sure.

Also something interesting is that there is Singapore the country and the city of Singapore. Since it's so small, it's also called Singapore. So if you are from the city of Singapore, you're from Singapore, Singapore.

Similar to New York City, New York. But that's a state, city in a state. So this is a city in a country because it's so small. So Singapore, Singapore.

Right now I'm at the southernmost point of Singapore. Continental Asia or I'm walking there. It's starting to rain a little bit. It is rainy season here in Singapore and I think Southeast Asia in general has been raining a lot.

You guys can hear the thunder, but I'm not scared I'm gonna go see the southernmost point of continental Asia to check it out One of my favorite things about Singapore is the food courts. All the food here, the options are incredible and they have a really good design everywhere you go. It looks like you're in a very fancy restaurant but it's just many stands of food courts or food offerings everywhere you go.

It's really good. This is real good stuff guys, real good. Voila!

Look at this deliciousness. Yes, time to eat. So I'm here at the metro station.

Singapore has one of the most efficient metro stations or metro services I have ever seen in my life. They're very clean. You don't see trash. It's actually prohibited to eat or drink inside the train or the metro. They have many rules like you cannot even chew gum, which is fascinating.

And right now I'm actually a little lost. I'm trying to get to my hotel. They usually have really good systems of you know to help you get to where you're going and I'm trying to figure it out right now actually I think I just did so I'm gonna get back in the train So as I was saying guys, if you chew gum in the metro, in the train, you get a fine of 500 Singaporean dollars, which is like 400 dollars or so, US dollars. So yeah, they're very strict with rules, but I think that's good because it keeps the metro very clean. There is no crime.

Every now and then you have a person kind of getting next to you and asking you for money or help to fill up their card. But. They're just trying to get money from people, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to those because the government has really good programs to make sure everybody has a job. I haven't seen anybody homeless on the streets or drug addicts on the streets, which is really awesome and I have been here for four days already.

So I really respect the urban planning and the cleanliness of Singapore. It's just something that I think other countries can really learn, other cities can also really learn. From the planning, the really good planning that Singapore has done. So now my way to my hotel is being a good day of exploring the city.

I have one more day to go. But yeah, by the way, they're like three floors down. The metro goes under the surface, right?

So it goes underground. So you can get through, I mean to pretty much any area of the city. Also, cars are very expensive here. Cars are, I believe, you have to ask for a permit to be able to own a car. And it can be really, really expensive.

And the reason why is because the government wants to... wants to make sure there are not many cars on the road and people use the public transportation to also avoid congestion of traffic. I also want to show you guys something really awesome is that you can pay I'm trying to get my credit card you can pay with your credit card you don't need to buy a specific pass let me show you how easy this is so I'm gonna use my credit card right now you I'm gonna pay. Boom. As long as you have the tapping option in your credit card you can you can pay so you don't have to get a pass or anything like that so I'm gonna go to my hotel now it's been a good day.

Okay guys Singapore has been a lot of fun I got to do so many things it's a beautiful city beautiful country I highly recommend you guys come visit come visit and check it out for yourself Live a life in a country where things are so well organized, where there is no crime, where food is amazing, where there is diversity of people from all over the world. This is the country for that. I'm very happy with my visit here. I'm now gonna continue on my cable car trip. Having a good time, trying to not get dizzy.

And here concludes my trip in Singapore. See you guys later in the next video. Bye!

Pura Vida!
