Procedure Steps

1. Applying Suction

   • Apply suction to the ET tube as necessary.

2. Withdrawing Catheter

   • Completely withdraw the suction catheter into the sleeve after suctioning.

3. Rinsing the Equipment

   • Ensure the suction catheter tip is aligned with the saline flush port.
   • Rinse the catheter and suction tubing thoroughly.
