saw you too right but without further ado we got Exodus 38 through 40 and Leviticus chapter 1 now these would be considered as quote unquote the boring Bible chapters you know I'm saying so it ain't gonna be a whole lot of breaking stuff down there's really just a whole lot of reading basically like I went over prior when I did chapters 26 through 29 dealing with the tabernacle inner garments for the priests it's basically the application of Moses following through with those instructions and making it happen in the tabernacle and the court and the altar and all that being built and reared up all right so without further ado we gonna begin with Exodus chapter 38 in verse 1 it says and he made the altar of burnt-offering of shittim wood five cubits was the length thereof and five cubits the breadth thereof it was Foursquare and three cubits the height thereof and he made the horns there of on the four corners of it the horns thereof were of the same and he overlaid it with brass and he made all the vessels of the altar the pot the pots in the shovels and the basins in the flesh hooks in the fire pans all the vessels thereof made he of grace and he made for the altar of brazen gate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of and he cares for rings for the for ian's of the great of brass to be places for the staves and he made the staves of shittim wood and overlaid them with brass and he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar to bear it with us he made the altar hollow with boards and he made the lever of brass in the foot of it of brass of the looking glasses of the women assembling which is symbol dat the door of the tabernacle of the congregation and he made the court on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen a hundred cubits their pillars were twenty in their brazen sockets twenty the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver and for the north side the hangings were a hundred cubits their pillars were twenty and their sockets of brass twenty the hoops of the pillars in their fillets of silver and for the west side were hanging of fifty hangings of fifty cubits their pillars ten in their sockets ten the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver and for the east side east were fifty cubits the hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits their pillars three in their sockets three and four the other side of the court date on this hand in that hand were hangings of fifteen cubits their pillars three in their sockets three all the hangings of the court roundabout were of fine twined linen and the suckers for the pillars were of brass the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver and the overlaying of their chapters of silver and all the pillars of the court were fillet was silver and the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen and twenty cubits was the mint and the height in the breadth was five cubits answerable to the hangings of the court and their pillars were four and there are sockets of brass for and there are hooks of silver and the overlaying of their chapters in their fillets of silver and all the pins of the tabernacle in the end of the court round a belt were of brass this is the sum of the tabernacle even of the tabernacle of testimony as it was counted according to the commandment of Moses for the service of the Levites by the hand of Itamar so to Aaron the priest so there was a some collective in order to find the building of the tabernacle in the service of building the tabernacle alright verse 22 and there's a little son of uri the son of hur of the tribe of judah made all that the LORD commanded Moses and with him was a holy heir son of a hiss amok of the tribe of Dan in engraven in a cunning workman and an embroiderer in blue and in purple and scarlet and fine and and look at dampening and were hey we got a day night and I Usui can saw a matter of fate its ability of someone's IP right now all right this had a night putting in work in the scriptures we got a day night right over here my hand I had Tipu his name is Josiah BIM Bell was shot I verse 24 all the gold that was occupied for the work and all the work of the holy place even the gold of the offering was twenty and nine tenants and seven hundred and thirty shekels after the shekel of the sanctuary so just talking about money that was collected for all this beautiful amazing stuff to be built right verse 25 and the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was in hundred talents and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels after the shekel of the sanctuary a Buckeye for every man that is half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary for every one that went to be numbered from twenty years old and upward for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men so this is how many men were contributing sort of cause it at seven ago being built of course it was Amanda verse 27 and of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary in the sockets of the veil in a hundred sockets of the hundred talents a talent for a sake so I just want to touch on a point real quick because of course we was deliberate about it eg we was in a wilderness we wasn't necessarily in captivity but you know what I'm saying as you see with us waking up in our captivity we are you know purchasing or renting or whatever schools you know little sanctuaries throughout you know places and of our captivity so when we get these places more often than not they require work they require you know wood and you know like this table that I mentioned earlier this leadership table a lot of the walls and stuff you know a lot of stuff got to be purchased in his service and labor that is uh that is required to make it happen but since we in captivity a lot of people don't have the spirit to give you know what I'm saying to give like you see here you read a better you know thousands of people like I said of course it was mandatory but thousands of people giving to the cause of building the sanctuary the tabernacle all right so I just want to get a script real quick and Baruch chapter one so this is after the Babylonians you know invaded Jerusalem and destroyed it right so of course we were captive but this is something that we were able to make happen in our captivity so likewise today for you brothers and sisters that have trouble coming up coming up out of your pocket to help the cause of the Lord you must examine yourself you really gotta examine whether you be in the faith do you really believe it is true do you study the scriptures because I'll throw out the scriptures you know what I'm saying we always gave and supported the cause of the Lord if we were believers you know I'm saying regardless of our financial state uh the book of Baruch chapter one and verse five we're up on they whip fasted and prayed before the Lord verse six they made also a collection of money according to every man's powers so like I said this was during the time of the Babylonians right so the priests you know they made a collection of money like we're reading in Exodus but of course isn't a different uh you know context of a state of being right we were you know it kept up a lot of us were impoverished we lost a lot of stuff we had so instead of it giving a required amount like we read in in Exodus right here is saying according to every man's power so likewise today we don't push in our congregations throughout our us see give 10% you have this much that much no you know I'm saying you give according to your power and the Lord knows how much power you have to give some have more power to give than others but sadly you know if there's some people they give more than the people that have more power than them to give you know what I'm saying so we must examine ourselves Israel let me get one more scripture on that note 2nd Corinthians chapter 9 because you know sometimes a lot of the leaders and teachers that are congregations that we have throughout Israel you know yeah I'll see I'll see certain spirits and expressions you know when you got a do a class on arms or you bring up the topic of arms and they they seem tonight they seem to fit understand like none of these will be able to take place you wouldn't be able to sit down in a chair watching us on the stage and have air conditioning blowing you know on top of you and around you unless there were arms this stuff did not just come out of thin air all right so we must have a different attitude when it comes to contributing to the building of our sanctuaries right so the book of 2nd Corinthians chapter 9 and verse six summaries six through seven it says but this I say he which soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully meaning the more you give the more you will be blessed by the Most High and that doesn't mean you know what I'm saying you give a lot of arms and the Most High God bless you with a three-story house per se but now I like the scriptures you read it Matthew you could be storing up treasures in heaven so it's all about your faith it's all about your belief but regardless will there be in this life or spiritually or in the next life you're going to reap bountifully which was so for the body verse 7 every man according as he purposeth in his heart so let him give so just like I was saying right here we're not in our own man we wasn't in a wilderness deliver from the enemy we were still captive to the Romans at this point right so Paul is in the congregants to the Corinthians know whatever is on your heart your spirit to give you give according to that some people can give more than others but some people don't have the same faith as others unfortunately so we must examine ourselves right it says not grudgingly or of necessity meaning you don't do it with an attitude like I says you want to bring out all them scriptures and you want to bring it up every time and you wanna you know say okay here you go here go you look $200 know if you gonna give like it you might as well keep the little money the true God because God said not to give in their fashion he said not grudgingly or of necessity meaning just because you know it needs to happen now it should be on your spirit to give regardless whether you see or feel in your spirit that is needed a night you should want to give anyway because God gave which we have to you it's only right to give it back right it says for God loveth a cheerful Giver so when you in that good spirit a charitable spirit of giving you know because you actually love giving you love helping the cause you in the spirit right that's what God loves they put a smile on God face you know I'm saying the same terrible dreadful God God loves the deniers compassion for those type of actions and behaviors that take place amongst believers right so let's go back let's go back to Exodus chapter 38 in verse 28 so there's something that I paid attention to reading cuz I uh you know I really like basically like seven or eight chapters a day when I first came into the truth you know like you know why you when you first come in you had a zeal right so I was reading through a siddhis and of course like I said people look at these chapters like they're boring chapters but I knew I couldn't just skip past them you know I'm saying the way I really not the weight the way I find stuff I'd be like if I skip past any page I can miss out on a jewel you know what I'm saying so I'm gonna read the boring chapters so one thing I got from reading the boring chapters when I first came in was just kind of paying attention to detail like well you air brothers and sisters really dedicated to the work of building these things and you see that everybody was able to put they brick in not everybody had the spirit to contribute physically but everybody gave something for the cause right and it was basically commanded back then so let's pick up Exodus chapter 38 in verse 29 it says in the brass of the offering with seventy talents seventy talents I'm sorry about the seventy talents in two thousand and four hundred shekels and therewith he made the sockets to the door that's having a little congregation in the brazen altar and the brace and great for it and all the vessels of the altar in the sockets of the court round about in the sockets of the court gate and all the pins of the tower and all the pins of the court round of Pelt so this chapter 38 now in chapter 39 like I said it's going to going to the application basically of the instructions that we read in chapter 28 when it was going into the basically the design of the priest gormese right so that's what we're going to read about in Exodus chapter 39 Exodus chapter 39 in verse 1 and of the blue and purple and scarlet they made clothes of service to do service in the holy place and made the holy garments for aaron and the lord come as the LORD commanded Moses and he made the ephod of gold blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen and they did beat the gold into thin plates and cut it into wires to work it in the blue and in the purple and in the scarlet and in the fine linen with cunning work they made shoulder pieces for it to couple it together by the two edges was a couple together and the curious girdle of his Aoife that was upon it was of the same according to the work thereof of gold blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen as the LORD commanded Moses and they wrote unex tones and closed-in ounces of gold graven as signature graven with the names of the children of Israel and he put them on the shoulders of the ephod that they should be stones for memorial to the children of Israel as the LORD commanded Moses and he made the breastplate of cunning work like the work of the ephah of gold blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen it was Foursquare they made the breastplate double as span was the length thereof and they spanned the breadth thereof being double and they sit in it for rows of stones the first row was a Sardis a topaz and a carbuncle this was the first row in the second row in M rod a sapphire in a diamond in the third row here in a gate in an amethyst I'm guessing at these words bear with me in the fourth row a barrel and unex in a Jasper they were enclosed in ounces of gold in there in closings and the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel so like we pointed out when we did chapters 28 and so on and so forth the most high made us represent you know and this is going into the garments at a priest so I made shoulders and a breastplate you add stones with the names of the twelve tribes engraved in them so when they stepped on a scene you already knew what nationality that shall you nationality is very important to the Lord and for some reason Christians refused to believe there I'm telling you man they do not believe in this Bible David do not believe in a god of this Bible guy had us representing ready for real and he took it very very seriously all right verse 14 again and the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel 12 according to their names like the engravings of a signet everyone with his name according to the twelve tribes and they made up on the breastplate changed and the ends of written work of pure gold and they made two else's of gold in two rings in two gold rings and they put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate and they put the two wreathen chains of gold into two rings on the ends of the breastplate and the two ends of the two written change they fastened in the in the two else's and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod before it and they made two rings of gold and put them on the two ends of the breastplate up on the border of it which was on the side of the ephod inward and they made two other golden rings and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath toward the four part of it over against the other coupling thereof above the curious go to girdle of the ephah and they did bind the breastplate by his reins unto rings of the ephah with a lace of blue that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephah and that the breastplate might not be loose from the ephah as the LORD commanded Moses and he made the robe of the ephod of woven work all of blue and there was a hole in the midst of the robe as the hole in as the hole of an aversion with a band round about the hole that it should not ring and they made upon the hems of the roll pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet in twined linen and they made bales of pure gold and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe round about the pomegranates why do I emphasize round about because this is this is what's going along the fringes of the priests garment like I said before time and the one that I did last we're dealing with chapter 28 its doctrine is out there you know I'm saying of course amongst our people there amongst you know some Israelites that you wear the seat seats at the four corners and Stella instead of all along the gorman you know it used words like encompass encompass and around a belt because the fringes go all throughout round a belt you're Gorman but for some reason some people just like to understand oh I would say like the fear of God because if I see you know because you can see old pictures and stuff like that of Israelites with the fringes all the way around if I'm seeing stuff like that and I see brothers and sisters they have the same faith as I do they maybe with a different camera whatever but they rocking it that way out of fear you know what I'm saying with because it wouldn't hurt you would still had as easy you know technically you were stat as Easy's because you have fringes are throughout it wouldn't hurt to just put them all throughout you know what I'm saying but some people always say Lecter fear Oh guy it is what it is all right so where was that verse 25 and they made bills up here go and put the bills between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe round a belt between the pomegranates a bill in a pomegranate a bell and a pomegranate round about the hem of the robe to minister in as the LORD commanded Moses and they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron in his sons in a metria fine linen and goodly bonnets of fine linen and linen breeches of fine twined linen in a girdle of fine twined linen in blue in purple and scarlet of needlework as the LORD commanded Moses and they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold and wrote upon it a writing like to the engravings of a signet holiness to the Lord and they tied unto it a lace of blue to fasten it on high up on Dmitri as the LORD commanded Moses so is going to the details of the Crown's that our forefathers were the priests right they wore crowns black man this is your heritage suspending man this is your heritage I know we just used to snap backs and skully's and but once the point of time you wore a golden crown made out of real pure gold this show here it is man and it's a blessing to come back to this knowledge they're not gonna teach you this anywhere else for it alright verse where a man verse 31 and a tightness will lay so blue the fastening on high up on Dmitri as the LORD commanded Moses verse 32 thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses so do they so did they and they brought the tabernacle unto Moses the tent and all his furniture his his boards his boss and his pillars in his sockets and the covering of RAM skins dyed red and the covering of badger skins and the veil of the covering the Ark of the testimony in the stays there rub in the mercy seat the table in other verse was there rub in the showbread the pure candlestick with the lips the earth even with the lamps to be set in order and all the vessels they rub in the earth for light in the golden altar in the anointing girl in the sweet incense and the hanging for the tabernacle door in the brazen altar in the grate of brass his staves in all his vessels the lever in his foot the hangings of the court his pillars in his sockets and the hanging for the court date his courts in his paeans and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle for the tent of the congregation the clothes of service to do service in the holy place in the holy garments for aaron the priest and his sons garments to minister in the priests office according to all that the LORD commanded Moses so the children of Israel made all the work and Moses being look upon all the work and behold they had done it as the Lord had commanded even so had they done it and Moses blessed them so you know how you look up on a finished product like I was mentioning earlier a lot of us in our various states and locations we had to get a building and it required a lot of work but it's nothing like you know doing all that painting the building the sanding and the taping and you know all that it been nailing the screwing and then afterwards you see the finished product in its night all praises to the Most High that's the moment that we're seeing now after all there were called it go to add the Pete you know constructing it whatsoever Moses was like how praise to the Most High we did it huh you know I've said let me bless the people so chapter 40 and verse 1 and the Lord spake unto Moses saying on the first day of the first month shall I set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation and there shall put their in the Ark of the testimony and cover the Ark with the veil and thou shalt bring in the table and set in order the things that are to be set in order opponent and thou shall bring in the candlestick and like the lamps thereof going into the menorah and thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the Ark of the testimony and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle and thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation and thou shalt set the lever between the tent of the congregation in the altar and shall put water therein and thou shall set up the Court roundabout and hang up the hanging at the court gate and thou shalt take the anointing girl and anoint the tabernacle and all that is therein and shall Hollywood and all the vessels thereof and it shall be holy and there shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all his vessels and sanctified altar and it shall be an altar most holy and thou shalt anoint the lever in his foot and sanctified and thou shalt bring Aaron in his sons and to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation and wash them with water so before the answer there to make sure they was bathed you know I'm saying spotless verse 13 and thou shalt put up on Aaron the holy garments and anoint him and sanctify him that he may minister unto me in the priest's office and thou shalt bring his sons and clothed them with coats and thou shalt anoint them as they are did is anoint their father that they may minister unto me in the priest's office for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations so a lot it is dealing with once again a garments mitri the sanctification the Priesthood an outlet it was covered we did exodus chapters 26 through 29 some wanna you know basically regurgitated a wood night but go back and watch they're dealing with the you know I touched on dealing with the priesthood everlasting priesthood and all of that so go check that out I'm not going to revisit it this time alright so verse 16 thus did Moses according to all that the LORD commanded him so did he and he came to pass in the first month in the second year on the first day of the month that the tabernacle was reared up and Moses reared up the tabernacle and fastened his sockets and set up the boys thereof and put it in the boys thereof and reared up his pillars and he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent above upon it as the LORD commanded Moses and he took him put the testimony into the ark and set the staves on the ark and put the mercy seat above upon the ark and he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering and covered the Ark of the testimony as the LORD commanded Moses and he put the table in the tent of the congregation upon the side of the tabernacle northward without the veil and he set the bread in order of on it before the Lord as the Lord had commanded Moses and he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation over against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward and he lighted the lamps before the Lord as the LORD commanded Moses and he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the veil and he burnt sweet incense their own as the LORD commanded Moses and he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle and he put the altar of burnt-offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering as the LORD commanded Moses there was in chapter thirty all right you can recap and watch officer get a liar going in today I think it was Friday right Exodus chapter 32 33 he code there um verse 30 and he said to let the lever between the tent of the congregation in the altar in put water there to wash with all in Moses and Aaron in his sons wash their hands and their feet there and when they went into the tent of the congregation and when they came near unto the altar they watched as the LORD commanded Moses and he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar and set up the hanging of the court date so Moses finished the work then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle and Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation because the cloud abode their own and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle and when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys but if the cloud were not taken up then they journey tonight till the day that it was taken up for the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day and the fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys so something marvelous about what we just read was the fact their forefathers our ancestors where but a witness and you know see firsthand things like this so i'ma get into the the cloud and a fire and stuff like that but uh you know it's just you know basically we didn't have to rely on Apple maps in Google Maps you know if sandal or was our GPS the law was that navigation system that's how good our forefathers have is so it really should be very Exim when you see the reveal you read about the Robair business in a betrayal and a peg binding a memory that our forefathers did in a wilderness they were truly blessed to be able to witness such things that we read right here but like I said let me deal with the UH the clout that followed them by date with let's get a precept real quick and Nehemiah chapter nine Nehemiah chapter nine first the book of Nehemiah chapter 9 and verse 12 so this is going into Exodus 13 after you know we made the Exodus you know basically after the Lord killed the firstborns and we got about it we spread the egyptians and we got up editor Nehemiah chapter 9 verse 12 moreover thou lettest them in the day by a cloudy pillar and in the night by a pillar of fire to give them light in the way wherein they should go verse 19 yet thou in thy manifold mercies for sick is them not in the wilderness the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day to lead them in the way neither the pillar of fire by night to show them light in the way we're in they should go so you know they had no electricity bill you know I'm saying they didn't have to you know Perseid create their own lamps the Lord gave them a source of light freely you know to guide them through the wilderness so let's go to Psalms chapter 104 real quick dealing with the cloud by day and the fire by night Psalms chapter 104 and verse 3 it's says yes who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters who maketh the clouds his chariot who walketh upon the wings of the wind who maketh his angels spirits his ministers of flaming fire so you know when adore the Lord is showing us in Psalms dealing with the clouds and a fire you know it's referring to spirits that he created you know I'm saying better known as angels right he cannot done did a class I forgot that uh I think it was called the spirits that are created and he went over to this mine in my top five favorite classes of all the time if you ain't watched it if you been the truth for at least a year or two you know and if you ain't watched it you need to make sure you go watched it might be a little too deep just for beginners per se but he really really made it plain but uh you know just amazing how he broke down how to Lord create angels to carry out everything on earth right that effect this get a you know surah chapter 39 real quick because a lot of people don't know that fire is a spirit fire is a spirit this gets a rock chapter 39 and verse 28 now of course this is an eclair text of vengeance meaning judgment but nonetheless is showing that fire is a spirit is a rock chapter 39 in verse 28 there be spirits that are created for vengeance which in their fury lay on swore strokes in the time of destruction they pour out their force and appease the wrath of him they made them fire so one of the first spirit that he named that he created for this purpose is fire it says fire inhale and famine and death all these were created for vengeance so these were spirits or you know angels per se ministers of God to carry out you know his doings his intentions upon the earth all right so let's go to Psalms chapter 34 real quick because a lot of people don't know you know Sanders the Israelites we are we have the privilege of being guarded and protected in leather belt by the angels of God I the book of Psalms chapter 34 in verse 7 the angel of the lord encamps that fear him and deliver with them so usually that fears the Most High God he says angels around us to protect us from harm and danger all right that's what the Bible says let's get that in Exodus 23 real quick so God let us know that we would have an angel with us through the wilderness to lead us and guide us Exodus chapter 23 and verse 20 it says behold I send an angel before thee to keep thee in the way and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared so he let him know look you gonna have an angel with you to direct you and guide you and protect you and make sure you get to the promised man verse 21 beware of him and obey his voice provoke him not for he will not pardon your transgressions for my name is in him so did their goes to show you why the Lord allowed their first generation you know to not make it to the promised land because they provoked the angel they disobeyed the most they transgressed a moment they complain they worship idols they went unless didn't wanting to go back in and Egypt so this shows you why they got the judgment that they got verse 22 but if there shall indeed obey his voice and do all that I speak then I will be an enemy into thine enemies in an adversary Insadong adversaries making a distinction when you reverse for dealing with uh your brother which would be considered your enemy basically a brother who you might have been in our wits er didn't like and eyes with or didn't like this reverse for real quick because you know Matthew 5:44 love thine enemies you got a lot of people that struggle with that if we were sold to our enemies and that would be the white man did we gotta love the white man no that is not what God is saying you're talking about your brother that you may be a ties with right Exodus chapter 23 and verse 4 if they'll meet thine enemies ox or his ass goin go straight thou shalt surely bring it back to him again if they'll see the ass of him that hated the lying under his burden and what is for birds who helped him thou shalt surely help with him so when you read the precept in Deuteronomy 20 24 it says the same thing but uses the word brother showing that this enemy is talking about your brother so when we read verse 22 once again and 23 watch this it says but if thou shalt indeed obey his voice and do all that I speak then I will be an enemy and said Eynon amis in an adversary and said I never series for my an angel shall go before thee and bring thee in unto the amorite and the Hittites and the parasites and the Canaanites the Hittites in the Jebusites and I will cut them out so now he naming the enemies that he would cut off if we obeyed his voice dealing with the other nations the inhabitants of the land that was meant for us to perish through in or conquer and dwelling right so that's a distinction between the enemy of your brother and the enemies of the nation's God say I could come off all right so let's go back - matter of fact now we in Leviticus chapter 1 so the Book of Leviticus Leviticus is a Greek word for Levitical right the root word of Levitical will be Levi so the Levites were given the priesthood of the Lord so this book Leviticus is dinner with the laws and the priesthood so in Chapter 1 you're going like basically you're gonna see a lot of you know Aaron in his sons and stuff like did a lot of laws pertaining to the temple and different stuff like they're dealing with the priests in Chapter 1 you got um you're dealing with the different types of burnt offerings and a lot of us we may not know you know the distinctions of the different offerings now am I saying that if something is you know if you battling with hatred or smoking weed you need to make sure you get this down peg no but you know it is your heritage to show history is something that you shouldn't be ignorant uh right so let's deal with the Leviticus chapter 1 and verse 1 and the Lord called unto Moses and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation saying speak unto the children of Israel and saying to them if any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord he shall bring your offering of the cattle even of the herd and of the flock and if his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd let him offer a male without blemish so we're dealing with the burnt offerings that would come from the herd the herd is talking about cattle such as when you read Rams Bullock's heifer right that's talking about that's coming out of the herd ram a ram or bullock is coming out of the herd it says if his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd let him offer a male without blemish he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord so uh you know eventually we're gonna get to the book of Malachi and you will see how two priests were finessing and corrupting you know I'm saying this loud basically you would bring a meal without blemish it would ever nail keep it and sacrifice you know a male with blemish will they be a broke leg or blind eye something like this so this law was eventually corrupted which is even more of a reason as to why Christ had to come and be that perfect sacrifice once and for all right but let's continue verse four and he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him and he shall kill the Bullock before the Lord and the priest Aaron son and shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blur around I fell upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation and he shall slay the burnt offering and cut it into his pieces and the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar and laid the wood in order upon the fire in the priests Aeryn Sun shall lay the port's the head and the fat in order upon the wood that is in the fire which is upon the ultra so notice this is it includes the word fat because a lot of people stumble which I'm pretty sure the officer captain is doing this tomorrow will cover this is gonna come up in chapter 3 basically you know you can't eat fat or whatever it is dealing with the fat that was used for the priest to send up this offering a sweet savour unto the Lord so don't get tripped up and confused thinking you know saying well you you know get your steak off the grill you know what I'm saying you can't eat the fat that's on a steak not it's not with this alright uh were we [Music] will be a very summary verse 9 and it says but the in words in his leg Shelley washed in water in the pre shall burn all on the altar to be a burnt sacrifice in offering made by fire of a sweet savour unto the Lord and if his offerings be of the flux namely of the sheep or of the goats for a burnt sacrifice he shall bring it a meal without blemish so now we didn't--we the offering that will come about it of flux so when you dealing with our offering out of the flux you dealing with goats lamb she is a different category aware enough verse 11 and he shall kill it on the north it no I'm sorry he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord and the priest errant son shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar and he shall cut it into his pieces with his head in his head and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar but he shall wash the inwards in the legs with water and the priest shall bring it up and burn it upon the altar it is a burnt sacrifice in offering made by fire of a sweet savour unto the Lord and if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the Lord be of fowls so this is gonna ruin it's a different category about by offering even with valves meaning birds so when you see for example when we did the Leviticus 12 dealing with the when a woman has when a woman gives birth right she gotta bring the two turtledoves or whatever so when him when it's making reference to turtledoves or pigeons or something like therefore an orphan or sacrifice is dealing with the burnt offering of fowls alright verse 14 and if the burner friend for his offering to the Lord be of thous then he shall bring his offering of toto doves or of young pigeons and the pre-shop bringing in to the altar and ring off his head and burn it on the altar and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar and he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers and cast it beside the altar on the east part by the place of the ashes and he shall cleave it with the wings thereof but shall not divided asunder and the priest shall burning upon the altar and the wood that is in the wood that is upon the fire it is a burnt sacrifice an offering made by fire of a sweet savour unto the Lord so is it there's all folks this show four chapters for today we covered Exodus chapters 38 through 40 dealing with the fulfilling of the application of building the tabernacle to court the altar the holy garments for aaron and his sons the coach and also going into basically how as they traveled alone moses had to rear it up and how the law was our navigation system right he gave us a cloud you know chariot by day and fire by night going into the Angels experience that he created saying come round abettors to protect this and the vehicles were we dealt with the burnt offerings right a matter of fact the idea when I just make a point dealing with the burnt offerings so let's real quick Ephesians chapter 5 now I want to get to Rock chapter 35 in version one first so I mean this probably get pulled a lot going through the Book of Leviticus because you know it is long it is Commandments but we have to understand you know under the grace of Christ which is why so much you know confusion dinner with Paul's letters because people fail to understand the context and what are you talking about you know I'm saying he's trying convince the Corinthians the Galatians the Romans to collage and so on and so forth that they do not any longer have to sacrifice animals you know the issue was you had Pharisees and stuff creeping in a congregation trying to you know sneak and convinced them that they had to go back their route they had to do these things so powers like not only them judge who and the meat all friends in a drink or anything so on and so forth so uh so rock chapter 35 and verse 1 it says he that keepeth the love bringeth offerings enough and he that taketh he to the commandment I'll friend off with a peace offering so now you know in our captivity with no Levitical priesthood no temple right this is what we must do this is our reasonable service sacrifice right it's keeping the commandments of God submitting ourselves to with the Bible instructs us to do in our everyday life that's your offering right there should sacrifice you already living sacrifice let's get that in Romans 12 now let me get Ephesians chapter 5 first and then I'm a father with over Romans 12 Ephesians chapter 5 and verse 2 Ephesians chapter 5 verse excuse me verse 2 it says and walk in love as Christ also hath loved us and have given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour so basically is letting you know damn when you read a Leviticus like we read you know the offering is sacrificed to sweet-smelling savour is that you know Christ replaced all it in he fulfilled all of them he is the sweetest man and Savior He is the sacrificed our offering right that's when he took on in his death and resurrection he was the offering sacrifice for the nation of Israel so we no longer have to do those things but like I said it share here this is your history is something that you know we ought to know in Ezekiel 20 lessons no when we go back you know and I'm sending to the wilderness make it through the wilderness so on and so forth that we will be giving our friends once again that's Ezekiel chapter 20 and verse 40 I ain't gonna read it you know I'm saying you can go and read it yourself Romans 12 and one last Scripture Romans chapter 12 and verse when I believe therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service so God is letting us know a we ought to be their living sacrifice we should sacrifice our less and pleasures desires of the flesh in order to submit you know I'm since her following the footsteps of Christ which is keeping the commandments and it's our reasonable service because Christ did it he was you know first she was tempted as we are you know what I'm saying if he did that for the whole nation why can't we do that you know I'm saying and respect about God and Savior and respect of the Messiah you know understand so now we will conclude you know in a photo Thursday Exodus chapter 38 through 40 in Leviticus chapter 1 like I mentioned in the beginning of the class if you haven't tuned in to the I UIC Arkansas
