[Music] you know that I believe that even that worship song would be an Anthem even in the seasons to come because the reason why we posture ourselves in prayer is see pray prayer is so powerful man and sometimes we we look at it as you know when everything else fails pray no you you can send prayer into your future in the place of prayer you posture yourself to receive the prophetic flow of God to receive the mind of God and it's from that place that you know that that is where your confidence comes in because being a Christian is just not like a a badge of honor the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge he didn't say the world he says my people and why is it that we perish for lack of knowledge because we're not coming to the place of seeking his face but when you posture yourself to hear from God and we're going to talk about this today when you posture yourself to hear from the Lord it anchors you in a way that you you are not afraid you see I remember um I there was this invitation that I received to speak in a warart torn country and I wouldn't lie when I saw it I said this cannot be my portion I'm just being honest my first thought was not that Holy but immediately the holy spirit says if I'm sending you there I will protect you amen you see when you know where the word of God is guiding you and leading you no matter the chaos around you you know you're covered you see this is so key for these times because you're going to hear so many things in the news you're going to hear and even some of the things that will be happening in the times to come already I'm experiencing where people are like listen I'm out of this country I'm moving to Europe Africa they're just finding different spots to move to but you have to know where is the word of God guiding you to because you remember there was a man named Lot in the Bible and lot had followed Abraham when the Lord called Abraham out of his father's house and all of that to a land that he would show him but there came a time where Abraham and his family and his staff and everyone I mean when you come look at his and you look at lot's it was too much they needed to separate and so Abraham gave lot first pick he said lot thought look we are too many look around the land and choose for yourself where you would go and I will take the other when lot looks up he looks for the land that is Green Pastures he looks for the land that looks like fertile ground this will be the place of abundance and increase he is judging it by his natural sight and so he picks that land and Abraham takes the other but but did not realize that even though what looked good today was already set for destruction in the times to come so you don't just pick things but out of your natural inclination because sometimes even the place that they're like man you should move to this city move to this state this is where it's happening did God send you there did the word of God send you there because if God's word is not anchoring you that is where fear has permission to come because Faith was not what sent you in the first place so when we get to a place where we say Lord I fear no evil why because I'm also anchored by Your Word you see today I'm going to be speaking to you from this thought that God speaks to you you see so often we we we find ourselves where we're like man I'm doing all the things but it feels like I can't hear the word of God and with the time that we have I believe that you're going to step into to what the Lord you know ordained for this service and so I just thank you Lord have your way amen you may be seated now if you were here last week um our pastor was teaching on build for the flood right and it was so beautiful because it was more so of his burden the burden that God has put in his heart about that we are coming into Times of a flood that will come but not a flood like in the times of Noah because the Lord has showed us that look he's not going to do that again he gave us his promise even through the rainbow but a flood in the sense of a time where there is a great shaking but it would be the instructions you receive from the Lord that would be your protection and safety and so you're going to see how many men and women of God have been sounding the alarm that people get ready something is coming but they're sounding the alarm not to cause fear or anxiety and not for to make you wonder do I have what it takes to get ready no they're sounding the alarm because it is time for the church to be the light of the world it is time to be who Jesus formed and shaped you as and so it is a time to seek the face of God not just in the sense of self-preservation no God what is about to shift and what is about to take place you see the word of God says if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray he doesn't put the weight of it on the world he says my people then he would respond and he would heal the land and so when we see times of great shaking it is for the church first not just the world that sometimes you you you you see where there are moments where you know the church starts looking like the world and God's people you can't tell the difference between them and the people of the world and then the Lord allows a shaking for us to get back to who we were called and fashioned to be you see we see this all the way back even and this is not really in my notes but we even see this all the way back to the first family when Adam and Eve had Cain and then they had Abel you have to recognize that first of all the woman was told she was given this Promise by God after she had they had fallen into in it and the promise was that her seed would crush the seed of the serpent but when the Lord is talking about the seed of the serpent he's talking about the workings of the enemy the things that took place on Earth as a result of their fall and the seed of the woman that was being referred to was Jesus that God would come in the form of man to give us back our Authority again that the authority that was taken for us from us would be restored unto us but you see the Lord is speaking from a place of an eternal perspective but this was to Eve she did not fully understand what this really meant it is possible that Eve was thinking that she was about to have a son who would be the one to fulfill that so when Eve had came she's like wow the Lord has given me a child that I have begotten a son from the Lord but you see there are things that the the Lord is not limited in is in knowledge but we are and the enemy is and so the enemy also heard that word and so he's like wait hold up because um whoever that son is I need to get him on our side first so Cain when Cain is the one to open up the womb and start this family the enemy had his eyes set on Cain and so when Abel shows up and I I encourage you to read this story because I want to get into my notes Abel shows up and then there was a time where they had to present offerings before the Lord and Cain brings an offering that the Lord rejects but the Lord is like look if you do well you will be accepted but then he tells him he says sin is at your door and it's and it's seeking it's desire is for you sin had a personality in that moment because sin was referring to the enemy has a desire for you but then the Lord says to him but you should rule over it don't let this consume you because you see from the very beginning it was always about image we were created in the image of God and the enemy was trying to see how can he take away from that and cause us to walk in His image and so he has his eyes set on Cain but Cain did not humble himself before the Lord he stayed in the place of Pride and pride is at the root of every sin and because he stayed in the place of Pride Cain became the first murderer on Earth to kill another human but whose image does that look like Satan and the Bible will let tell you that how Cain left the presence of God and built a civilization and if you study his lineage you will see that in his lineage were people who became the first to reflect different traits of the enemy different different attributes that were in Rebellion against God in the lineage of Cain there was a son that was called lamech and lamech was the first polygamist in the Bible you see these were things these were attributes these were images outside of God's presence so there is always this war for image there is always this fight for image and sometimes we don't even realize where we lose our way and start blending in with what the enemy is after because that Civilization that Cain built is what is now known as the world because it was a civilization outside the presence of God everything we were called to do was called to be done with God in his presence and so when we look at the world that's what the Bible says be in it but don't be of it because if you're in it then you are going to find comfort in doing things outside the presence of God you may come to church you may pray you may do things as religious check marks but the fruit of your life shows that you are living outside God's presence because your decisions have it doesn't have a consciousness of the Holy Spirit you just do whatever you feel like because you you you you already know you calculate okay if I do this this way then this is the outcome even today I remember there there was there were some folks I were talking to and they were talking about men you know if you're a l if you're a young lady or a young guy and you're looking to get married these are the states to go to you'reall laughing because you've heard it you're like oh man La child we got to pray you know but this is real talk I remember they were like yeah you know they they broke it down I said wow this is some wisdom right here so you know if you're looking for a guy that's like this you know you should go to DC you know if you're and I said wow this is so fascinating because we have found comfort in our intelligence we have created a narrative of how to live our lives outside the counsel of God because in his presence is where we get his counsel God I know that this is this is this state is where X Y and Z happens but do you have it for me there and so when there is a shaking the Lord is calling his people to get back in position and be the light and so we're going to see that you know what the the the truth of the matter is often times we have this you know question about like wait how does God speak in X Y and Z but you even see it that the same way that God spoke to Noah and what I love about how God spoke to Noah when you study that chapter I mean it is so it is just gangster you know because literally the Bible goes from you know and God saw the world and he saw that it was filled with corruption and there's no pause that just this fluid transition and God said to Noah build an ark that tells you that they had this walking intimacy that Noah had this ability to easily discern the voice of God it was not his first encounter with God that God could see something and just have a conversation with Noah as he's looking he's like you know what Noah build this Ark because I've seen that the Earth is filled with violence and Corruption and in that same way God can speak to you even right now the Holy Spirit can be speaking to you the problem is that we don't discern it the problem is that we are lacking the ability to discern his voice you see there are four primary ways that God will often speak that we experience the voice of God and I'm going to go through this very quickly because the key thing that God showed me is what I want to hit on but the first thing is that you have those who um you know I I refer to them as The Feelers right these are people that have this heightened sensitivity to the emotions of God you know some might wonder like does God have emotions absolutely the Bible will tell you about different types of emotions of God anger compassion you know love hate there are things that the Lord hates right and so when you are someone who you know when you can experience the voice of God as a feeler your your emotions are now surrendered to experience God's emotions concerning the thing so this is for example when people will say things like man I don't have peace on this right and you don't have peace on something that looks great on paper everything about it should be amazing but there is something that you're like man I don't feel peace on this because God is allowing you to experience the fact that he is not in it and but here's the thing too because you know Jesus would say I want to let's go to Philippians 4:7 the Bible would say and the peace of God which transcends all understanding actually no before we go there let's go to John 14:27 Jesus would say peace I live with you my peace I give to you not as the world gives do I give you let not your heart be troubled neither Let It Be Afraid now there is a peace that comes from God and there is a peace that comes from the world because just because you sense I don't have peace on this is not the ultimate marker because you still have to vet it because the peace that comes from the world is the peace that you know is when you find Comfort when nothing is shaking you're what you're after is to lessen your fears the voice of your fears because if there's a certain move that causes you to feel like man you know this is where's the money going to come from how am I going to do this how am I going to pay this bill and X Y and Z and so you choose to settle for an option that makes you feel safer you see I read this quote and it talked about how Comfort is worse than a prison cell that this illusion of comfort is actually worse and that really it stood out to me because could you imagine and it gave me this idea I'm like can you imagine someone who is in prison and it's time for them to be released but they're like you know what my friends are here you know I got a job here it's cool three Square me I I'm good you know just just let me stay in my bunk there's a whole world out there waiting for you to experience but because what you've known for so long is this then it's like nah I'm good I I true story um there was a time that a friend of mine got caught up in some stuff and they got arrested and they were really shaking about it and so I was like you know what I'm going to come visit them that was my first time visiting you know someone in prison so there was this whole thing you have to get in the bus then the bus takes you there this whole thing when I was in the bus somebody was proposing to me an idea that was a crime I I said am I being punked and I'm like literally I said I said you know we are on the way to the prison he's like yeah you know I just got out I said and you trying to commit more crime you're you're you're already negotiating your plans to commit more crime on the way and it baffled me I change seats I said I I don't know if they're recording devices here I'm trying to go home after real talk I was so baffled I said how in the world is this man looking for his next partner in crime on the way to the prison because that has become all they've known and so there is this false peace it's when you can stay in the place of your safety and comfort that is why even when Jesus is talking about my peace I've given to you he ends it with do not be afraid because even in the peace of God your flesh could be troubled if it's not surrendered to God so even when God gives you peace about a thing if your flesh and your mind and your soul is not settled in his word it could find fear so the peace that comes from God is something different it doesn't mean that it is the absence of chaos and it doesn't mean that you know when the peace of God comes everything is going to be beautiful but it's transcending that beyond what you know this is going to work out for good so there are those that have this sense dis ability and and this is for all of us but for some maybe it's more heightened than there are others who are are called the knowers right this is when you have this instinctive understanding of what you ought to do it it's no one told you you don't know how to explain it it doesn't make sense to you but you know this is what you have to do this is when the Bible talks about how you know that one of the the fruits of the Holy not fruits one of the gifts of the holy spirit rather is the gift of faith this is when you have the ability to share in the faith of God you just know everything about you is just Amplified to do a thing you see when Jesus there when he would encounter the disciples there's a moment when he encountered two of the disciples and they were fishing and he literally tells them you know what drop your nets and follow me and I will make you fishes of men and instinctively before they even could recognize Jesus as the savior they dropped their Nets and followed him because there was a knowing so God can speak through your knower and then there's also you know how many people have had what a thing called Deja Vu experiences you see Deja Vu experiences are also connected to your inner nowhere you see when you have a deju experience um you know sometimes people this is where you know you have where false Doctrine starts to come in and and this deceitful thing about is it from your past life no there's no past lives here you know you were not a butterfly in your past life Deo experiences it has nothing to do with your past life it has to do with a known one un known life before God you see God in his all knowing nature there are moments where because a de of a moment it's like and and and often times it's so Random it's not something that is always like this big moment it's like you're at the grocery store and you're buying watermelon and then it Dawns on you like wait I feel like I've worn this before and I've been here before and I saw that person and it it's it's always sometimes in this the most random things that you're doing and it's like whoa that feels like a Deja Vu moment what is it that God is communicating to you it's an inner knower for you to realize that even though your life may feel random right now even though it may feel like things are not working out this season of your life is actually in alignment with what God knows you see there was something that David said in Psalms 139:16 he says your eyes saw my unformed body all my all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be so before I even stepped into my day Lord there was something you knew about my day and sometimes as Believers we only think that our life is glorifying God when it's this glorified moment when it's this big thing and and you don't realize that even in the mundane that that is also written in your story you see David's story did not start when he became King when he was a Shepherd boy cleaning up the sheep chasing after them that was also written concerning him and there are times where you need a little encouragement to know that what may feel like mundane and belittling and you feel as though God do you see me do you hear me you know what is my life life right now he reminds you this moment this season is actually in alignment I saw this even before you came into this day and that is why it's often very random and it's like wait I feel like I've been here because you have there it was written concerning you and so the Lord begins to share what he knows about you with you in that moment and then we call it a Deja Vu now there are those who are know the hearers and the hearer they experience God through a voice whether that's outwardly or inwardly in the Old Testament you know it was more common for people to hear the audible voice of God because the Holy Spirit was resting upon people he had not come in them and so when he's upon you your you know your natural senses are are are more heightened when he's within you your spiritual senses are more heightened and so that is why some times you know when people talk about you know my this the the voice in my head because the Lord can speak to you through you know a thought or a series of thoughts and that is how it's translated to your soul because when Spirit to Spirit speaks then your spirit translates that to your soul as thoughts that's why I don't know how many people were here there was a demonstration I did with Pastor ebener you know if I'm speaking to you in the natural when I'm speaking to you I'm speaking to you audibly so you can point me out in the spiritual realm if you've ever had an encounter with an angel or things like that they don't speak with words it's Spirit to Spirit and then your spirit translates that to you through your thoughts so then there are these ideas that come up in your mind that is why the Bible there is always this Warfare concerning the mind because this is the language of spirits so even when the enemy wants to speak to you he can't read your mind but he can send a word to you but then you're receiving it as a thought but you think it's your own but it's not that is why you must have a guard over your mind you have to think about what you're thinking about to know who put it there because God did not create you to be against yourself and the enemy does not speak in ways that he would say hey guys I'm Satan no his greatest tactic is to masquerade himself as you so when he's speaking to you he's speaking in first person so that you would think you're the one thinking it there's sometimes that you you you start telling yourself like man I'm so depressed I'm so lonely I'm so this that is him speaking to you that's why you have to catch and say oh no I rebuke you Satan I am not the one thinking that of myself and so when Spirits speak they speak and it's translated to us in our flesh as our thoughts translated to your soul rather as your thoughts and so those are the hearers and then we have the seers this is where natural and spiritual sight comes in you see in the natural not everything you see is what the is is as it is even right now there were angels in the room but there are times that the Lord will permit you to or he he will you know he will give you the permission for your eyes to be open because there's a purpose in you seeing it if you've never seen the supernatural in the natural does not mean that your walk with God is any less but everything God does is with intentionality so if there is a purpose for you to see it in that moment then he would he can open your eyes especially when you're surrendered it's not just random that you're living your life anyhow and it's like boom God just open my eyes no when you're surrender then if you're a vessel that is needed for that moment God can open your eyes to see in the natural things that are beyond the general natural sight that was what happened even if you remember with the prophet elishah when they surrounded him and the servant is panicking and the servant is like you know my father my father the Chariots are here and what does he do he prays he says Lord open his eyes because Elisha could already see what was happening what was what what's surrounding them that look you think these men are surrounding us you have not seen the Angels surrounding these men and because of that if they try to touch Us by God's command they could wipe them out all right now so Elisha prays and his eyes are opened but then there is spiritual sight and something I would also say about natural sight is you know when when God opens your eyes you can also see the dark side of things and I just feel that's important to say because I I just sense that there's someone listening and you know there are things that you you your your sight is activated and but it scares you and actually not even that it's activated it it was activated and then you saw a lot of things that were in the Demonic and you were like God I don't want it anymore and it literally and he he shut it down but what I want to encourage you I don't know who that person is for but the Holy Spirit just interrupted there I want to encourage you that what whatever ever God allows you to see that is governed by the Holy Spirit not when you start doing weird stuff to see in the spirit okay that's a different Spirit allowing you to do that and and it wants access but when the Holy Spirit governs your ability to see whatever you see cannot harm you but God is allowing you to see it for there is an information he's sending to you there are things he wants you to see so that you know how to war in prayer differently you know how to intercede differently not that it can harm you no but that you know a strategy there's a strategy that you begin to walk in because he starts showing you what things look like in the spirit I remember one time um there was I went to this Airbnb and I just felt like choked you know like it didn't make sense and I started feeling sad and depressed and I I I didn't even realize it was a very interesting time in my life so I didn't go into to the Airbnb started praying on you know praying over the place no I was just tired in that that season of my life and and I remember I just felt so depressed in that place and I was like God oh this place is choking I want to leave and he tells me stay and I was so angry I remember calling one of my best friends and I was crying I'm like why would God tell me to stay here and this place is choking me up and and then immediately God opens my eyes and I see this demon and he was was massive just like I mean there there's this figure I'm trying to remember I don't know what movie he was in but just this really like enormous being disgusting looking and like fat is not the word you know fat can sound offensive but he was huge okay and I was like what is happening and the Lord said that is what the spirit of depression looks like and when you don't realize it when when when you submit to it it takes up more space and more space and more space that is why there are times that you might be experiencing depression you go out everything is fine the moment you go back home it's right there it says hi because the more you surrender to it then it the place feels choked up and I'm like but God what is happening here he says the person who owns this this is what they're dealing with and so without you even knowing you walked in you didn't even pray all all of a sudden you felt sad and you agreed with the sadness and it took over the space little by little little by little but this Spirit looked disgusting it was not to scare me it was for God to say now you have Insight on how to pray first of all come out of agreement you are not depressed there is a spirit occupying this space now secondly cast it out it's not to scare you it's to equip you amen now when when we talk about spiritual sight this is where we talk about dreams and Visions now I recently taught about I taught on you know activating your spiritual senses and we talked about how Visions are when there is visual imagery that is used to reveal Mysteries while you're awake while dreams is the same thing but that happens while you're asleep now the book I wrote on the power of your dreams the reason that the Lord began to show me to emphasize on the dream realm there are many things that I talk about in the book but there are three key reasons that I want to share with you today and number one is because your spirit never sleeps you see your body needs rest but your spirit is always awake and your spirit always has the ability to commune with God and so even when your body is resting the Holy Spirit can continue to commune with you and you receive it as dreams that is in the word of God you know let's look at Solomon for example when God encounters Solomon in a dream he's encountering Solomon's spirit because he's having a real conversation with Solomon he meets Solomon Solomon is King and he says you know what Solomon what is it that you would want me to do for you and Solomon says give me a wise and understanding heart that I may know how to govern this people so great that was his real response his body is asleep but his spirit is not and so in the dream now he's having this conversation with God and God says you know what because this is what you asked for you didn't ask for your enemies you didn't ask for any of this I will give you that and so much more and everything else you did not ask for Solomon wakes up because this is a kind of dream you call an impartation dream it has already been imparted it is done Solomon wakes up and all of a sudden his understanding changes when matters are brought before him he has a different wisdom and intelligence about it because the Lord has imparted wisdom and then all of a sudden things are happening his wisdom is causing increase in his life and people he he just he became so wealthy why a word has gone forth the word was released in a dream but it was in the spirit realm and because that word was released increase was attracted to Solomon there was a favor on his life that Drew in abundance the same thing God can give you a warning dream there are things where it it could feel like a parable of a kind you know where they're like you're you're looking at images and you're like God this doesn't make sense but it is the spirit encountering your spirit and it's the same with how Jesus will sometimes speak in Parables but then in the place of intimacy he would explain the parable that's why the word of God says it is a glory of the Lord to hide a thing and it is a glory of King things to search it out sometimes it is the pleasure of God to give you a message that is coded in something else because as you search it out in the place of intimacy not only do you understand the message but you grow in your walk with God so he's not hiding it to confuse you he's not hiding it to play you know hide and seek he's hiding it for your good and for your growth that as you come in his presence the the revealing of the message also brings out of you it it builds you up in him and so dreams are powerful because one your spirit never sleeps number two you get to redeem time something that shocked me was the average amount of time that a person sleeps research actually says you sleep the average person sleeps for 26 years of their life some of you right here are not even up to 26 can you imagine for 26 years of your life outside of the word of God what kind of Life Would you be living because his word is your manual his word is your guide so 26 years outside of his word so this is what allows you to redeem time that even as I'm asleep Lord commune with me reveal things to me if there's a path that I'm walking that you did not send me on expose it you see Abraham Lincoln when he was was president before he was assassinated he had a dream of of being told that he was assassinated but if he had a Daniel in his in his Camp if he had someone that understood the power of dreams they would have told him Mr President cancel everything you have going on this week but he has the dream he talks about the dream he's like literally in the dream he's walking he's hearing people mourning and he's like why why are they Mourning and then when he goes and he's like hey what's going on they tell him the president has been assassinated that was a warning Dream from God because could it be that the L in in the Lord's in the perfect will of God he desired for him to stay longer in that seat but then there was a threat against his life and the Lord is trying to bring a warning to him but there was no reverence for it so he continued his activities as usual and that week he was a assassinated you see there are things that when you start to take it serious dreams are not just this random thing in your dreams the Lord is communion with you it's communication sometimes it's God starting a conversation or continuing one with you and the third thing family is that dreams and Visions are the are a language of the last days acts 217 says in the last days God says I will pour out my spirit on all people your sons and daughters will prophesy your young men will see Visions your old men will dream dreams now what is so fascinating about this now the last days was marked by the outpouring the release of the Holy Spirit but it says because of the release of the Holy Spirit now you you'll be able to prophesy to prophesy is to speak forth the mind of God but then the two key streams it follows up with is dreams and Visions because when it says your young men shall have visions and your old men shall dream dreams this was not about age there was a mystery in this that I believe that we would even be able to unpack maybe for the sake of time at the second service but there was a mystery in this that the that through dreams and Visions there is a prophetic stream that allows the mind of God to be revealed to you and that this would be heightened through the power of the Holy Spirit do you know that you know the book Book of Revelation is not actually called Revelation it's called the revelation of Jesus Christ and that is a book that was revealed through a vision that the revelation of Jesus Christ was given to an apostle named John through a vision and so this is why there is such I I I I I recognize the emphasis that God places on the seing realm but here is the key thing that the Lord wanted me to touch John and the problem is but how do I discern his voice because God speaks you will be shocked how much God is speaking to you but that the problem is you don't discern when he speaks and this is what the Lord showed me that often times people are practicing intimacy as a formula and not a lifestyle intimacy is not every third week or every you know third week of the month I'm going to fast but then the rest of the month I just do life how I choose intimacy is not this formula intimacy is a life separated onto God it is your life it is not the things I do to hear from God because there are some of you and you're like God I've been praying I've been fasting I can't seem to hear your word because because you're treating it like a formula but it is a life separated unto God you see one of the things that marked the life of Noah was that Noah walked with God so when the word of God came to him it was so fluid God sees he's like you know what there's violence and Corruption on the earth Boom the scripture goes and God said to Noah Noah walked with God one of the biggest problems that we're seeing today in in the life of Christians is that they are treating their relationship with God through the perspective of a formula you see 2 Corinthians 6:17 says therefore come out from them and be separate says the Lord touch no unclean thing and I will receive you where there is separation there is restraint I remember always wondering you know God why would you put the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil in the Gard Garden as as a kid I'll be honest with you I said God I think I think I should blame you cuz if that tree was never there we would not be in this problem I I think you're playing with us when the Lord began to show me that there is no true intimacy without restraint and so even in the Garden of Eden that tree was symbolic to restraint that if I am going to be separated unto God there must be something that I'm that even when my flesh desires it I can yield to the Restraint of the holy spirit it's not everything that seems good is something that you should just do and let's not even go to the things that we know are bad the things that we know that Lord I need to walk away I need to repent from this but your lifestyle is is there restraint in how you live does your life represent that you know what that there is something that governs how I walk How I Live how I talk the decisions I make there is something Beyond me that governs it and that is my relationship with God that you don't just make decisions because you can but that you seek first the counsel of God that before you make a move about your life you're seeking his counsel that even though you are tempted to do something that feels good in your flesh you're like you know what Lord I I I belong to you so I'm going to yield because there are moments where the holy spirit is literally restraining you and it's telling you don't do that don't go there don't get involved with this but then because we're just like you know what we we have this formula mindset we don't call it that but that is what the fruit is we're like you know what I'm just going to dabble and then I'm going to come to God and I'm like God this is the last time I'm sorry but you don't realize that you're not full in the Lord God cannot be mocked often times the people the the person we're deceiving is ourselves because if and that's why Jesus would even say if you love me keep my Commandments Jesus did not say if you love me shout it to the world if you love me let everybody in your neighborhood know he said no no no no no because you can give lip service and then if they copy your lifestyle it would not lead them to where you think you're going so Jesus says if you love me keep my Commandments to keep his Commandments means there are other things that you may desire to do but you are restrained you see what God began to show me is that we have to be people that yield to the restrain of the Holy Spirit there were times that even the apostles want to preach somewhere and the Holy Spirit Will restrain them the holy spirit will tell them no you cannot go there preaching is a good thing it's a beautiful thing the Bible says you know spread the gospel to the ends of the Earth and here we are trying to go preach the gospel and the Holy Spirit says no but you yield to it because Lord my life is not my own I belong to you when you begin to to see intimacy as separation unto God that I cannot live a life that everybody else is living if the counsel of God is not for me to do those things when you begin to see that that's when the script this scripture becomes your reality when it says that the secret things belong to those who fear God there are things that God wants to show you but you have no reverence for him and so you have not arrived at the place where secret things are revealed secret things are not just revealed because we have we pray we do things and then we're like God please show me show me show me secret things are revealed because there is a reverence we have for God and it is from that reverence we know how to yield to his restraint when you have respect to fear of the Lord is not like this you know fear that brings anxiety no no no it's a fear that Lord I respect you I see you you you are the priority of my life and because I see you in that manner Lord God yes there are things that I would like to do but because your word says no I will yield to the Restraint of the Holy Spirit I'm not called to just do anything I'm not called to just be everywhere and I'm not the one I'm not called to just live in my flesh because the flesh there is you know there's a scripture this blew my mind when when the Lord said to Adam about eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil he says in the day you eat it you shall surely die and I I was like man but God they didn't die but when you study that word it says in dying you shall die what was God speaking about that the flesh that the day you eat it that is when you become flesh and flesh is the lowest level of man to live in your flesh is already one layer of death that is why the word of God was said the flesh profits you nothing so you cannot say that man I'm a Child of God but you have no restraint you give to every Temptation every appetite you give to it that is not how we walk as Kingdom people when the Holy Spirit is is T ug in at your heart you yield because here is the thing I'm learning about obedience to God obedience is a step when there is an area of your life that you're playing with when there's an area of your life that you're just like God I could do it later I could do it here I could do it there no matter what progress looks like in the natural in the spiritual realm you're stagnant because obedience is a step when you do what the Lord says you should do that is when you have movement in the spirit and that is why because you see family this is so critical because your life the Bible talks about you know for everything there is a time and a season your life is locked up in times and Seasons it's not just through the things you do day by day no there is a season that is marked concerning your life there are seasons marked and there are things that you should step into in different seasons of your life but obedience is what opens the door from season to season and when you are dancing around and doing things your way because you're just like well God I'm just going to come back and say Lord I'm sorry and then you do the same cycle over and over again that is not repentance because repentance it's a mind shift is that in your heart in your mind you're like God I'm dropping this that even if you do it you're shocked at yourself but then we find ourselves doing things and we're not we're not we don't even feel convicted we're like man God I Pro trust me it's my last time there's no there's no um care because it's just a habit but when you truly repent you come before God and you're like you know what I'm done because I want to be really serious about this walk with you you see it is to those people that secret things would be revealed they would become the light of the world that Jesus calls you to be you are called to be separated you're not called to be of the world but to be separated I want to encourage everyone to study the life the the the the the lineage of Kain and study the story of Cain it would really open your eyes to realize that from the very beginning this was always about representing an image that sometimes what you think think is just casual fun and just doing you that is under a kingdom and not the kingdom of God Cain literally the Bible says and Cain came left the presence of God and he went and built a city and that City began to expand expand and the whole civilization was born and that Civilization is what we know as the world be separated from the world there are things God wants to show you there are things that God wants to tell you God speaks to you but you have to discern his voice and so family I want I want us to pray but even as you stand with me I want this to be a very sober and honest moment for you you see there are many things that while I was in the place of Prayer the Lord began to show me and my prayer one one of my my primary prayers when it comes to our community is that God show them who they are in you open their eyes to see to see themselves like you do that they would not fall into the into deception I pray that for myself too you see I'm telling you things that I'm also learning to walk in these things don't come easy it's not like oh my gosh this is It's Easy for some no it's about dependency it's about knowing that Lord even when it feels hard to say no what gives me the power to walk away is that my eyes are on Jesus and so you cannot look at intimacy as this form formula you create when you need a word and then you get frustrated when the word doesn't come it is your life separated unto God your life everything about you should be separated unto God the decisions you make how you live your life the things you do seeking the counsel of God before you take a step God are you in this with me the places the areas of your life that you struggle with temptation that's why some things I've said this before some things it's not that it's an irresistible impulse it's an Impulse it's just not resisted the moment the impulse comes you give in but there is the power to resist but you don't want to yield to that power because you're more you you you have more you know experience experience with the taste of that thing and you're like just this one more time not realizing you're shutting off your ability to discern his voice you're disconnecting yourself to the source of life because every time you live according to the flesh the spirit takes a back seat God wants you to live separate onto him and what I want to pray for In This Moment is true repentance if you realize that you are one who it's like when you do the thing when the thing that you told the Lord you wouldn't do again the next time you did it you had no shock you would just say oh man here we go Lord forgive me that's not you there was never repentance in the first place it was lip service it was religious activity true repentance is when in your heart you're like God this is it I I don't want to live a life of deception I don't want to live a life of death living according to the appetites of your flesh is death there is nothing that profits you there you don't repres you don't you're not represented as the light of the world that you should be that is why God would say men my people because there are people who have said said yes to Jesus yet they're living in ignorance of what it means to walk with Jesus so God is like my people perish that is a that is a dangerous word perish and why for lack of knowledge because they started and they stopped at all right I have my salvation batch but they don't know what it is to walk with God to walk with God is a life separated onto God that's why Noah in a Time the the Bible literally talks about the whole world was filled with violence the whole Earth but in the midst of that Noah was a blameless man how is the whole earth filled with violence but Noah was blameless why he was separated he knew I'm in this world but I'm not of y'all I'm of the Kingdom he knew what it meant to live a life separate unto God that regardless of the influence and the Temptation in the air he was living separate you see in every territory there is something that rules over that territory that wants to get you to live according to the world but if you don't have the consciousness of Separation you wouldn't even know when you gave in I was in New York yesterday and I remember remember we were talking to you know the the people we were with and there was this gentleman who literally you know he left New York and he moved to Dallas and he was like man I'm this is the best decision I've made and I asked him a question because people in New York were telling me they were like man in New York everybody has like at least two jobs because they're trying to keep up with the cost of living and because they're they're working so much they don't have enough time to spend with the Lord I said no this is a problem and I when we talked to the guy we were like yo how was it when you lived out here he was like man I had two jobs just to keep up and and my relationship with God suffered and I'm like wow because what was over the territories everybody it was work work that's why New York everybody's going going going I mean sometimes you're like where are we going you know we're all going to meet the same train but there is this hustle mentality but it's what is ruling in the air if you don't have the mindset of Separation you will fall into it without knowing and then you start making excuses but then he moves to a different city and he says then he realized that what he was doing he didn't have to do it that way but when he was in it he couldn't see himself because you fall under the ambient of that spirit in a l for example there is this there is this thing with spiritual fluidity I love Jesus but I also do X Y and Z it's everywhere you you go to a bookstore they're selling Sage you say how what what does sage have to do with books I'm I'm not Jo I saw it I said wow this is different if you don't have a consciousness of Separation you wouldn't realize when You' start to dabble in you're like you know what let me try this out a little bit if you don't have a consciousness of Separation you don't realize when you start to lose your integrity for a stage because there is something ruling in the air that says by all means necessary pursue your dream La is where dreams come true so whatever it takes for your dream to come true get it girl then you don't realize where you sto living on according to the will of God because you were pursuing a dream and you were after that dream coming true you started to sell yourself while giving glory to God because you didn't have the mindset of Separation you in called to separate yourself from the world and live a life that is under the government of God's counsel you just don't do things because everybody else is doing it so if you know you're in the house and you're like God truly I come before you in Repentance I want to be separate I I don't want to live my life just because everyone else is doing it because it's in the air if you don't have a separation mindset you just start falling victim to things that you're just like wait how did I even get here that was never your lifestyle in the beginning and you just found yourself dabling in stuff because you didn't have the understanding the consciousness of wait I'm in it but I'm not of it so if you're like God I truly want to separate myself onto you this is where your spirit and your soul not even your spirit your when you're a Believer the Holy Spirit takes resonance in your spirit but this is when your soul becomes still when you live a life of Separation you are so sensitive to the voice of God that when God sees the chaos in the world he can easily jump and just talk to you and be like Amanda hey I need you to do this tomorrow and you can discern his voice you will discern what is taking place in the in the times you there are things that you don't even need to search out do you know that Noah wasn't searching things out Noah did not was not like wow there's something different happening there God just found him and say hey hey Noah you know we've been talking I need you to do this because I'm about to send a flood s separate yourself so if you know that's you just lift up your hands thank you Jesus thank you Lord thank you Lord thank you Lord there is more to you than you know there is more to you than you know your life is not found in the flesh it is in the spirit when you're living a life that only serves the appetites of your flesh you haven't started it's in the spirit thank you Lord and if you're in the house and you want to give your life to Jesus you dabble in so many things because you're just under the ambience of what is ruling the town ruling in the air and you're like God I'm going to throw all that stuff away and really focus on you if you're serious about your walk with God I also want you to just lift up your hands thank you Jesus thank you Lord thank you Lord we're going to pray thank you Lord and first I just want you to repeat after me Heavenly Father let's do this together Heavenly Father Heaven father we thank you we thank you Lord Jesus Lord Jesus on the cross on the CR you put my sins to death put my S to and when you were raised up you I was raised up with you free and Victorious I confess you as my Lord and Savior now Holy Spirit come into my life and make my heart your home heart thank you Jesus now heavenly father I thank you for your sons and daughters in this room and I thank you for those who are tuning in from all around the world I thank you oh Lord that as they say yes oh God that Lord I've been playing with this thing called repentance but truly I come before you to say God I want to be separate I want to come out from amongst them I don't want to live my life as everyone else is living their lives in the world Lord God I started with you and I want to continue with you I don't want to live a life In the Flesh Lord I pray where they need to be empowered Empower them that they would know that you have already given them the authority and the power to walk over that which tries to subdue them to rule that which tries to rule over them and so heavenly father I pray that you would open their eyes to see life for what it truly is and from that place of Separation Lord God that they would be more sensitive to the leading of your voice they would discern your voice when you speak we thank you Lord Jesus for that which you are doing in Jesus mighty name amen amen amen we love you family and we'll see you next Sunday God bless you
