Poker Study and Strategy Insights

so guys I'm interested to hear what it is that you do studying poker away from the table hello for me when I'm studying away from the table has to do with me just thinking about the hands up late thinking about the way I played the hands what my opponent was thinking the different amounts they bet in different situations what I could do against them next time what they think of me as a player do they think I'm you know playing tied to anything I'm playing aggressive what are they going to try to get away with doing against me next time so really what when I'm studying is more thinking about ways to play against my opponent the next time I'll play against them you know I have a lot of different styles it depends on how everybody's playing you know it depends on what they're bringing to the table that day you know you can't I don't go on any poker game with a strategy I'm going to say I'm gonna play tight today I'm going to play loose today I'm gonna play aggressive I just go there and just try and you know you know basically take what they give me you know if they're you know if they're playing tight I try and go after some pots or I might you know I might be I might be playing conservative depends I can't really say how I'm gonna play in any given day but for the most part I do tend to go after pots and I probably play more hands than an average player well you're playing in a game right there's so many times where like you make a bad decision and then later on you start thinking about you know all the different variables everything that happened in that hand and the decision is so clear to you what you should have done okay so it's like you know so you you think about that you process it and then the next time you play you're able to make a better decision based off you know things that happen just a feel of the hand if the feel of your opponent what type of energy they were giving off you know there's a lot of things that you know coming to play another to make the correct call or make the correct vet or whatever but you that's it's really important to be able to process it just in four Meishan and the way you do that is after the session if you think you're not going to be able to remember the hand maybe you write the hand down and then you just think about the hand and what you could have done differently the next time it's a hand you know similar that comes up I try not to let try not to let things bother them you want to play poker and I like losing and losing a couple of tough hands I'm trying to let that bother me so you know when people will lose an eighth they tend to when people lose and they play a lot worse than when they're when things are going away when you're winning you know be able to make better decisions when they're winning just more if there's a lot more to play in poker especially in the side games than just you know playing poker a lot a lot of has to do it how your how your opponent's doing whether he's winning or losing you know a lot of players that I play with when they're losing they play really really terrible as opposed to when I witnessed so some nights I might quit early if a guy's winning another night so if a guy's losing I might play with him for two days you know all the pin it's the only way to get good at poker is if you play against really good players you know if this away that's with any sport anything else you know you got to you got to let you you could you know a lot of times you have to play to the level you competition you have to play with really good players to improve pokers is just a crazy game I've never played a perfect session where at the end of the day I said man I'll play perfect today every time I play a session I always make mistakes there's so many variables of Poker you know pokers a game would definitely have to live in a moment no matter how good of a player you are how good you think you are you know there's gonna be days where nothing you could do right and you're gonna lose in order to get to be you know one of the better players in the world you can have to put it in time just weeks where I'll put in a hundred hours playing poker you could read all the books you want that doesn't really matter once you get to a certain level and poker comes down to whether or not the guy actually has the hand he's representing or he doesn't I'm not a prodigy I just work at what I do I work at poker very hard and I'm always thinking about how I could get better at it
