chapter 31 and verse 1 and moses went and spake these words unto all israel and he said unto them i am 120 years old this day i can no more go out and come in also the lord has said unto me thou shalt not go over this jordan so as we went over before moses you know after he was provoked by the people you know he he pissed the lord off you know he didn't sanctify the lord before the children of israel out of his anger so the lord told him you ain't gonna go into the promised land so the lord is letting him go up on this mountain to take a look at the promised land you know what i'm saying but he's not going to be able to enter into it so before you know he gives his fair will or whatever you have chapters 31 32 33 in which he giving the children of israel prophecy of what would happen and all of this so we're going to dig in all that today that is with the chapters that we're going to read today are going into all right read them verse 3 the lord thy god he will go over before thee and he will destroy these nations from before thee and thou shalt possess them and joshua he shall go over before thee as the lord hath said and the lord shall do unto them as he did to zihan and to gog og king of the amorites and uns and unto the land of them whom he destroyed and the lord shall give them up before your face that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which i have commanded you be strong and of a good courage fear not nor be afraid of them for the lord thy god he it is that doth go with thee he will not fail thee nor forsake him right so moses let him know look joshua gonna take y'all into the land when y'all get into the land make sure y'all follow the guidelines that was given to y'all in deuteronomy the seventh chapter don't take their wives unto you don't take their sins unto you for husbands don't worship that guys but utterly burn their guys with fire so on and so on don't be afraid of them holiday read them and moses called unto joshua and said unto him in the sight of all israel be strong and of a good courage for thou must go with this people unto the land which the lord hath sworn unto their fathers to give them and thou shalt cause them to inherit it and the lord he it is that doth go before thee he will be with thee he will not fail thee neither for safety fear not neither be dismayed and moses wrote this law and delivered it unto the priests the sons of levi which bear the ark of the covenant of the lord and unto all the elders of israel and moses commanded them saying at the end of every seven years in the solemnty of the year of release in the feast of tabernacles when all israel is come to appear before the lord thy god in the place which he shall choose thou shalt read this law before all israel in their hearing gather the people together men and women and children and thy stranger that is within thy gates that they may hear and that they may learn and fear the lord your god and observe to do all the words of this law hey that's the cult precept for this zephaniah gather together gather the people together men women and children that they may learn and fear the lord your god and observe to do all the words of this law so the stuff that moses is gonna lay on them he say look you're gonna have to teach this every seven years to remind the people with will befall them what they need to do to avoid this and children understand is how to fear the lord your god all right not bob the first thing you need to establish with your children before they know anything else they need to know who they are and who their god is read them verse 14 and the lord said unto moses behold thy days approach that thou must die call joshua and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation that i may give him a charge and moses and joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation and the lord appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle and the lord said unto moses behold thou shalt sleep with thy fathers and this people will rise up and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the of the lamb whether they go to be among them and will forsake me and break my covenant which i have made with them so the lord tell moses straight up like look when you die after you gone these people gonna go to hell off these people that you spent 40 years tending to and trying to get them to do the right thing when you drop them moses they are going to do the wrong thing the land that i bring them into to inherit guess what they gonna do instead of utterly destroy all the nations and destroy their gods they gonna mingle with the nations and want to serve their gods read them verse 17 then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day and i will forsake them and i will hide my face from them and they shall be devoured and many evils and troubles shall befall them so that they will say in that day are not these evils come upon us because our god is not among us so god said after they go into the land mingle with the nations serve other gods evils and troubles shall befall them we just read about all of them in the last of four chapters deuteronomy the 28th chapter watch this read them and i will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought and that and that they are turned unto other gods so god said he gonna hide his face you wonder where where the lord was that when they was using that babies this alligator bait when they had us packed up song shall testify against them as a witness for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouth mouths of their seed for i know their imagination which they go about even now before i have brought them book of the law and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the lord your god that they may be there for a witness against thee for i know thy rebellion and thy stiffness did moses say i know something that we went over four times but this is something that the lord straight up told him the lord said look i have seen for myself what type of people this is you're dealing with watch that you we just get a headache dealing with judah right you know what i'm saying moses had to deal with all 12 tribes of spirits of rebelliousness and stiff neck nakedness you know what i'm saying he was grieved because that's the level of rebellion that they had from there go to numbers 11 and 11. just to get you know a past account of moses expressing his grief caused by the children of israel why have you afflicted your servant he like what have i done out of the 80 years of my life for you to judge me by putting me a choice it is rebellious and stiff-necked people he looked at it like a judgment god you it's something that i did to deserve this that was bad read them and wherefore have i have i not found favor in thy sight that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me so israel became a burden to moses read them have i conceived all this peace did not get pregnant and give birth to all these people read them have i begotten them that thou should it say unto me carry them in thy in thy bosom as a nursing father beareth the sucking child unto the land which thou swears unto their fathers right did i give birth to him or something in a spirit for you to put the responsibility of carrying them like a daddy carry his son along the way to the promised nerve when should i have flesh to give unto all these people right they steadily complaining about food and all this and that like i just got food growing out my pockets you know what i'm saying i don't got flesh to feed all these people read them for they weep unto me saying give us flesh that we may eat i am not able to bear all these people alone because it is too heavy for me too heavy for me man these people they really make it hard for somebody to be a leader unto them a father figure they make it very hard freedom and if thou deal dust with me kill me what did moses tell the lord if thou deal does with me kill me if i got a deal with these stupendous rebellious children by myself it's hard me insane that's the grief that moses had dealing with this rebellious stiff neck people let's go back deuteronomy 31 27 the book of deuteronomy chapter 31 and verse 27 for i know thy rebellion and thy stiff neck behold i am yet alive with you this day ye have been rebellious against the lord so while i'm alive with you you know what i'm saying now me i speak with the lord directly you know what i'm saying i i got the power to do miracles and all this and that and why i'm with you you rebellious read on and how much more after my death well how much mo y'all gonna be rebellious after i die read them gather unto me all the elders of your tribes and your officers that i may speak these words in their ears and call heaven and earth to record against them heaven and earth to record against bring all your leaders imma bring heaven and earth to record against them read for i know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves and turn aside from the way which i have commanded you and evil will befall you in the latter days in the wind in the latter days in the latter days but this heavy right here right this is deep that's why deacon malachi said where he said i didn't repeat gonna happen to the rebellious israelites in the latter days how did he know so what we finna read is very pivotal in understanding the chapters that we finna read 32 33 all of that is prophecy that's wondrous things and showed him the secrets of the time him i thought it was just 10 commandments ah and showed him the secrets of the time so god showed moses the secrets at a time how do you think moses you know what they call the torah the books of moses right that includes genesis moses wasn't a liar right how was moses able to write the book of genesis because the lord showed him the secrets of the times freedom and the end in the way and the end and the latter days how do you think you got a thing bro you got when we read deuteronomy 28 68 you know how we got to go to the precept to show
