Simple Steps to Dropshipping Success

So you guys probably see all these people on social media making tons of money dropshipping and you're like how do I start this for myself and start making money as well. When I was first starting out a few years ago I tried finding videos online that could help me start but so many of them over complicate the process and make it hard to understand. I wanted to come on here and show you guys exactly how to start and exactly what you need to do to become successful with it and make it as simple as possible for you guys to understand. You're probably thinking, why should I listen to you? Well, I went from being a broke high school kid with no future plans for my life, working 30 hours a week at a fast food restaurant while failing most of my classes to now moving out of my parents'house to my dream apartment in Miami.

And I also bought my dream car recently. It was a hundred thousand dollars CA Corvette. I've also been able to help my family and friends out as well.

I'm also now able to work from whenever and wherever I want. All you guys have to do is watch this video and I'll break down exactly what I did and not gatekeep anything like all these other people on social media are doing. So first thing you guys need to know and understand is what dropshipping actually is.

All dropshipping is is basically where you're a middleman for suppliers and your customers. Let's say there's a $10 product on AliExpress. All you do...

is just set up a Shopify store and relist it for $30. And every sale that you get, you make $20 in profit. So the good thing about this is that you don't need to keep inventory, which means unlike other businesses, you don't need thousands of dollars to start.

And it makes it very beginner friendly for me, myself back in high school or any of you guys to start. When you get a sale, all you need to do is take $10 from the $30 and you pay that to your supplier and they ship out everything for you. So that's all dropshipping is.

You're just being a middleman. Now that you guys understand what dropshipping actually is, there's three main steps that you need to do. Firstly, you want to find a winning product.

Secondly, once you have your winning product, you want to set up a Shopify store for it. Lastly, you want to market and advertise it on social media. Make sure you guys follow each step and everything I'm about to explain because if you don't, then you might lose a lot of money or a lot of time. Now firstly, you need to find a winning product. Now before picking your first product, you guys need to make sure it meets most of these requirements that I'm about to show you.

Your product needs to solve a problem or have some sort of entertainment factor to it. Secondly, make sure it's not saturated or dead. Third, you need to make sure it has a high perceived value.

If you look at the product, does it look like it's something cheap or something that can be broken easily? Make sure it doesn't look like either. Fourth, Make sure there's room for improvement. Try to start with a product that already has millions of followers or millions of likes. They're already doing really good.

It's going to be hard to beat that. Fifth and lastly, don't reinvent the wheel. Don't try to sell some crazy product that no one else is selling.

Instead, pick a product that's recently started trending with low competition. Now, you guys need to keep all of these in mind when finding your product. Now that you guys actually know what to look for. here's some resources that you can use to actually source and find these products. Firstly, you can use the TikTok burner method, which is basically where you set up a brand new TikTok account and you want to optimize your For You page for advertisements of dropshipping products.

Secondly, you can use the TikTok ads library and filter it to offers like 50% off so that you get access to all the ads that people are running of dropshipping products as well. But once you guys find a product using either of those methods, you want to actually use this research tool. called shop hunter which basically allows you to see how many sales your competitors are getting all you do is type in the link to a shopify store and you can see how many sales they got in the last week month year whatever that way you can verify whether or not the product is actually selling or not selling obviously if you track it using shop hunter and it's not selling then you don't sell it for yourself either and if you track it and it shows that it is selling then you want to start selling it for yourself as well If you guys haven't used ShopHunter yet, they're honestly one of the best research tools to help you find a winning product. Leave a link down below in the description for you guys to try them out completely free.

Shout out to them for letting me help you guys out to try it for completely free if you guys use the link below. Now that you guys have a winning product, you need to set up your Shopify store. Now unlike what a lot of you guys probably think, this is honestly one of the easiest parts about dropshipping and it literally only costs $1 to set up as well. I think it's usually like $30 a month. But I'll leave a link down below in the description that actually allows you to sign up for literally just one dollar And now you should officially be in the home page of your shopify store Now the first thing you guys want to do is click Online store on the left side of the screen and then you want to go down to your themes and change the theme from dawn to refresh or sense You don't want to use the regular dawn theme.

Instead you want to use either refresh or sense They're honestly pretty easy to use starting out. You don't need any of the crazy premium themes yet All you're doing is just testing and these two are good enough to get your first sales with. Now that you guys have done that, one of the most important things you guys need to actually do is add a supplier onto your store. So that way, once you start getting your sales, you can actually fulfill them and ship out the products to your customers. With the one that I actually use called AutoDS, you can actually ship them out under a week.

They also allow you to customize your products or your packaging as well. Also, another really good thing is that any product you find that you want to start selling, they're able to source it for you. Once you start getting a lot of sales, you can actually make it so that they automatically fulfill all your orders for you so that you don't have to worry about that. Now you guys know I will never promote anything that I've never actually tried or used myself. I can tell you guys right now, they're honestly one of the best suppliers out there to use.

And by the way, it's literally free to trial for 30 days as well. I'll leave a link down below in the description. Shout out to them for letting me hook you guys up.

Now that you guys have the theme and the supplier set up properly. you guys need to import your product from the supplier onto your actual store. You should be able to see your product inside your Shopify store now. When you first import it, it's going to have a lot of random stuff in the description. You want to delete all of that because your customers don't care how long or why the product is.

What you want to do is use something like ChatGPT and tell it to give you benefits of your product. What you want to do is only copy one to two sentences and add it in the description of your product. Don't add paragraphs or essays.

because nobody has time to read all that. They only care about one to two sentences. I'd also try to customize it a little bit like add an emoji or let's say it's a girl's product and you need to make it girly. Now once you're done with this, you need to actually come up with a brand name for your product.

Let's say your product is a magnifying phone case. You can just combine the two words and just call it magnet case or something like that. It doesn't have to be anything crazy.

It's not too important. And you also want to add the little trademark logo after your product name, just to make it look. more official and now you have the product section set up.

Now you want to go back to online store, go on your product page. The home page, it doesn't matter as much. What you should mainly focus on is the product page.

Once you're on the product page, it's going to be pretty much empty. You don't want it like this. What you want to do is add firstly an FAQ section.

If you look on the left, it's going to be called like collapsible content. And you basically want to answer any common questions that they might have like, how long does the shipping take? How do I use the product? Whatever the case is. Now, once you have an FAQ section, you want to add a short GIF.

It's like a two to three second video. All you got to do is go on TikTok, download a video, and then upload it onto a GIF maker. And then you can add it on your product page below your FAQ.

This helps show like a short video of how the product works or how it looks and all that. Now that you have your GIF, you want to add. to image with text.

Use an image of your product that you haven't used before. You can either look it up or it should be from your supplier. And then you want to add, like I said, a quick one to two sentence summary of a benefit about your product. And usually I would just add like one or two image with text. After that, another very important thing is to set up your reviews as well.

Open up another tab, go into settings on the bottom left corner. In the left side column, it should say Shopify apps. You click that and then you click Shopify app store, the green button on the top right. And now you should be in the Shopify app store.

Just look up reviews on the search bar and use any of the review apps that are available. Any review app that you choose, you can either import reviews from AliExpress or Amazon, or you can actually artificially create your own reviews as well. Just make sure if you do create your own reviews, that it's realistic. Don't make it obvious that you made your own reviews. And also when you're doing your reviews, make sure you don't have it perfect at five stars.

I see so many beginners, they add like 500 five-star reviews. And obviously it's not going to look right. It's going to look like a scam.

No one's going to believe that every review was a five-star review. So make it realistic, make it like 4.8, 4.9 stars or 4.7 stars. And also make sure to pin reviews that include images.

That way people see and trust your store more because they see customers are actually getting their product. Now, once you've done this, the last thing to do is your logo. It's really easy.

Trust me. It literally only takes like a minute or maybe 30 seconds to make. All you do is go on a website like Canva.

and click the option for logos to 500 pixels by 500 pixels. You can look up an image and add one in the background. Just don't put too much on there.

You want to keep your logo very simple. I mean, look at the Apple logo, look at Amazon logo. I mean, it's usually just a text or whatever the company's called.

Once you're done with that, download it and upload it to your Shopify store. That should honestly be it with what you need to do on your Shopify store. First time you do this, it might take a bit.

But after you set it up the first time, the next, like nowadays, if I want to set up a store, it literally only takes like 20, 30 minutes. It's very simple. Now that's how you set up your Shopify store. I told you guys it's not. as hard as you probably thought.

Now the third and last thing you guys need to do is the marketing and advertising. There's two ways to go about this. You could either run what's called organic ads, which is what I did when I started out, or you can jump straight into what's called paid ads.

Organic ads is basically where you make content on TikTok and Instagram reels and try to make it go as viral as possible so that you get a lot of traction to your store, which you're going to put in the link of your profile. or you can go straight into paid ads where you're basically paying TikTok or Facebook $50 to $100 every day to test and scale your product. If you have under $1,000, I would definitely recommend you start organic ads first.

And if you have a couple thousand dollars to invest, you can try testing with paid ads. Now, whether or not you have the budget, I would personally recommend that you start organic first and at least try to get your first few sales with organic marketing before you get into it. paid ads. That way you're not going to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Organic ads are completely free to try out. Then once you get your first few sales organically, then you can move into paid ads. Now, how do you create these organic ads? I'll put up some really good examples now so you guys can see what good ads actually look like.

Now, when you guys are making these ads, make sure it is organic to the platform. As you guys probably see from the examples, none of them just start the video with, oh. Buy this for 20% off. Go buy it right now. You need to make the content similar to all the other videos on the platform.

Let's say you're posting on TikTok or Instagram. Look at other videos on TikTok and make sure it doesn't come off too much of an ad. Because as you guys probably know, if you're scrolling on TikTok, you scroll like half a second every video. People are not on TikTok to spend money or go shopping.

They're on TikTok to watch entertaining videos. If you start off your ad too salesy, they're gonna scroll right past and you're gonna get no views and no sales. What you need to do instead is start off your ad as if it's any other TikTok. So try to use regular TikTok ideas inside of your advertisement. Let's say you're selling like a makeup brush.

Do like a get ready with me or gifting my sister a makeup brush. and let's see your reaction or you can do like story times or ugc content reviews now what you can do as well is research your competitors find a couple other people selling either the same product issue or a product in a similar niche and try to recreate their videos if they got 2 million views with a certain hook then try to recreate that hug don't use it word for word because you're gonna get shadow banned and taken down but just reword it a little bit and make your own version of it. If you do it right, you should get 2 million views as well, or sometimes you can get even more like 5 million, 10 million views if you make it even better. Now, usually you want to edit everything inside the TikTok app.

I wouldn't use a third party like Capco or anything. I would just edit inside the TikTok app. You can choose to use a trending audio or not.

Like that doesn't matter too much. It does help if you do use a trending audio though. And then before you upload your video on TikTok, they actually have the option to download the video. So you want to just make sure to download it before you post it.

If you guys have tried dropshipping in the past, you know we have to use websites like SnapTik or third parties to do it, but they have the feature inside the app now. Now, before you post, you guys are probably wondering what hashtags do I use. It really doesn't matter. Don't use weird hashtags like hashtag for you page or hashtag trending or none of those hashtags.

Just use three or four hashtags related to your product or your niche of your product. Let's say it's a phone case. I would just do hashtag phone, hashtag case, hashtag gadgets and leave it at that. Do not use random hashtags.

That does not help you get views at all. Now once this is done, just post your TikTok and also go on Instagram as well and repost the same video onto Instagram Reels. Now for every video you make, you have two chances of it going viral. Once on TikTok and once on Instagram Reels as well. Please do not bought any followers.

Make sure you guys do this and post consistently at least two or three times every day. The times that you post really does not matter, but you should post around like 12 PM to 8 PM. and try to spread it out two hours between each post.

You just want to do this for at least like two weeks. If you do it right, you should get at least a couple of videos that go viral and you should get some sales from it. Now, like I said, once you start getting your first few sales, now your ads should be good enough. Now you can actually choose to reinvest your profits into running and scaling with paid ads. You can change your TikTok account to a business account and run what's called Spark ads, which this video is obviously for you guys that are beginners.

If you guys start getting sales and want me to make a separate video on more advanced stuff, then just let me know down below and I'll do that for you guys. But yeah, that's honestly about it. I hope this is able to help you guys start.

I was able to completely change my life with dropshipping, so I hope you guys watching this really take this seriously and actually give it a try. If you guys like everything that I just showed you, but want a little more help or want to speed up your progress and get sales a little bit faster. And I do actually have a mentorship program where we have one-on-one calls, group calls, and more detailed steps and strategies for you guys to use.

We have people inside that got their first sales, their first 10K sales in a day, their first six-figure months, which I'll show on the screen. If you need product reviews, store reviews, ad reviews, we do all of that. And if you guys ever have any questions, you can directly ask me as well as other successful dropshippers inside our private community.
