  • There is used for places.

  • Do is used with plural nouns and pronouns.
  • Does is used with singular nouns and pronouns.

4. Accept vs. Except

  • Accept means to agree to take something.
  • Except is used to indicate something left behind.

5. Since vs. For

  • Since is used with a starting date or time.
  • For is used for a period of time.

6. Gone vs. Went

  • Gone is used with an auxiliary verb.
  • Went is used without an auxiliary verb.

7. It's vs. Its

  • It's is a contraction for "it is" or "it has".
  • Its indicates possession.

  • Blunder refers to a careless mistake.
  • Mistake means something done accidentally.
