hello guys Chris here and welcome back to another video in this one my friends I'm gonna be testing the B link sir 7 mini gaming PC in 17 popular games before we get into it let's take a look at its specs the CR7 comes equipped with an 8 core 16 threaded ryzen 7 7840hs processor 32 gigabytes of ddr5 5600 megahertz ramming dual Channel a fast one terabyte m.2 PCI Express 4.0 SSD with the option to add another one and the Radeon 780m integrated Graphics aka the best integrated GPU for gaming at the time of recording this video let's take a look at the i o next at the front we find a clear CMOS button one audio jack One USB type-c One USB 3.2 and the power button and switching it over to the back we find a lan 2.5 gigabit connection two USB 2.0 one DisplayPort Port one HDMI i port a couple of USB 4S which you can also connect monitors to for a quad monitor setup and another headphone jack finally on the very bottom we see the DC power connector which is magnetic and stays out of the way pretty neat little package in terms of i o if you ask me now how much does it cost really 759 euros yeah that's quite a lot but of course that ryzen 7 CPU is pretty high end on the mobile chip category finally let's see if this little thing has what it takes to impress and boy did she get impressed let's get into it shall we also guys just so you know I went into the BIOS and changed the vram allocation to 8 gigabytes so we are utilizing 8 gigabytes of that ddr5 Ram as dedicated vram here first up we got the most popular game on Steam it's Counter-Strike 2 at 1080p resolution using the low settings with no FSR alright first up let's play a death match here guys to get a feel of it see if it stutters actually had a few stetters right now what the hell at the beginning let's start counting rfps then I'm gonna hop into a casual match to see the smoke performance incendiary performance and grenade performance so the test is complete but here after those initial stutters it seems like it's a smooth experience with the 780m and the ryzen 7. come on that guy was low HP as heck there we go there we go so could I play this competitively on an APU I really think I could guys this is feeling really dang smooth there's somebody somebody else here I know which I know yep you can probably achieve like uh Global Elite no problem playing on something like this and then if you are really really serious about your CS career well then you should upgrade but I would say this is good for 99 of people out there I myself was playing CS go on a GTX 760 and a an fx 6350 at the time with around these FPS I think but I locked them to 120 on a 60 hertz Monitor and I got the Supreme Master first class all right let's throw his smoke out this is still the warm-up but it's good for us to see the FPS and as you can see it drops down into the 80s and now it becomes GPU bounds mostly I mean it it went down a little bit but at the beginning it was getting 98 GPU usage and over in the fire effects 70s 60s so it can drop down by quite a bit maybe drop the resolution to like 720p or 900p if you want to achieve a hundred plus FPS all of the time even inside of smokes next is cyberpunk 2.0 AT 1080p resolution using the lowest settings with 4 and isotropy and medium textures as well and this is native 1080p resolution guys on integrated Graphics is getting us 50 ish frames per second mostly 40s actually and it's probably gonna drop into the 30s but I mean we're playing cyberpunk 2077 on integrated Graphics at full on Native 1080p resolution isn't that insane I think it is my friends oh boy three years ago when this game came out I would never think that wait a second goodbye Bob Bob you need to die thank you very much yeah I would never think that integrated Graphics would be able to play this game so well it has no stuttering issues the frame time is not the best you know but it feels smooth anyways and it's getting 47 frames per second on average I'm gonna stop it there here though and I'm going to enable some FSR because FSR on quality in this game looks pretty good especially if you have a smaller monitor and it gives you slightly higher FPS as well around like 10 frames per second more on average smoke effect will look a little bit pixelated we saw them right there but overall the image still looks pretty damn good and now we're approaching those 60 frames per second on average it's a good experience I could play the game all the way through like this of course you need to keep your expectations in check it's not going to be the smoothest experience or the prettiest one but the fact that it's playable is great enough well-performing games Star field is next and we're playing it at 1080p with fsr2 on 50 so it's the same as fsr2 performance which means that we're playing at 540p actually internally and upscaling it and the lowest settings and we get around 40 frames per second right here which is not as bad as I expected honestly guys like I thought it was gonna perform a little bit worse than this because it's integrated Graphics once again I would say that if you lock the fps to 30 to get rid of those Jitters in the frame time graph it would be a decent ish experience it's not really dropping from 30 FPS but yeah those one percent lows they seem really really low but the good thing is if you are in other planets we can achieve a few more FPS as you can see it's a bit smoother of an experience with 50 on average at the moment and it still has a few stators here and there but I would say that for the most intensive game that has come out this year and most unoptimized I would say for the looks of the graphics at least it's not too terrible 69 sharpness gives us a much cleaner image and in planets like this one it will give us 30 plus FPS still as you can see but of course with close to what is quality fsr2 which would be 66 or 67 sharpness I just put 69 because of you know it's a nice number you will actually drop from 30 FPS here in in planets like this one which are very very intensive still it hasn't dropped yet okay but there we go 29 right there surprising results nonetheless from integrated Graphics I wasn't expecting it alright guys now it's Dota 2 back to an easier game to test 1080p resolution using High settings and 100 resolution scale and let's start counting our I have PS it's getting like 60s over here honestly I expected more FPS look at that it's dropping into the 50s and the GPU is not maxed out I thought at high settings we'd be GPU bound all of the time considering that the CPU is pretty fast you know it's running at 4.3 gigahertz at the moment and the 20 something percent usage there so it's only utilizing a few cores and it's still a bottleneck it's still very playable obviously and it looks great and you can achieve higher FPS by lowering the settings because some of them are actually CPU bound um but I just expected a full GPU bottle deck in Dota 2 with maybe 100 FPS ish all right finally I think we're gonna have a bit of a fight here at the worst the FPS will actually drop into the 40s again in Dota 2 these are still very playable FPS indeed it's not a first person shooter so you don't need super high FPS or 60 plus all of the time but yeah it's just interesting to see that it's so much more intensive than for example Counter-Strike 2 which is brand new Call of Duty war zone 2 is next we're playing a 1080p resolution native using the lowest settings here and as usual I'm gonna drop in one of the most intensive areas in the entire map zarkwa hydroelectric all right we're down here some people dropped around us as well I'm gonna start counting the FPS getting 60s on top of the bridge that's quite nice actually at Native 1080p with integrated Graphics right I mean it's not a super competitive experience in this one and most people will have 60 plus FPS and will wrecked you because that's how Call of Duty works but I mean once again it's really impressive that you can get this kind of performance in war zone 2 with an igpu in my opinion guys there are no major spikes to speak of sometimes those will happen whenever it needs to load in some new things but yeah for the most part it's actually a smooth experience and it's averaging almost 60 FPS this is way better than something like a GTX 1050 TI for example it's getting close to a 1060 experience a three gigabyte model maybe still at the end of The Benchmark run we got 59 FPS average and that means that enabling fsr2 in this one will make it even better so here we have it FSR 2.1 is set to Quality it looks a little bit softer for sure and the visuals around vegetation is where it struggles the most oh boy you know the 5 to 10 FPS more that you get here by using fsr2 are definitely worth it it puts us above 60 FPS most of the time where previously it was mostly below 60 FPS around this area at least it will still dip here and there as you can see and especially near the water it's just how the game runs the most intensive effects in this game are just water effects oh my God oh my God oh my god well I'm glad we're done with this right 63 FPS on average is what we got with 41 lows again slightly better not a major deal but it felt a little bit smoother indeed now it's the recently released stutter day 3 beautiful frame time graph isn't it my friends that's because this game compiles the shaders on the go a simple shaded compilation at the start of the game like Warzone does you gotta wait like a couple of minutes for it and it would be totally worth it to smooth out that frame time graph but all right they haven't done it yet so it's the third day at 1080p using the lowest settings and anti-aliasing is set to Performance no upscaling is being utilized seems like if it wasn't for the status it would be a decent and playable experience I would say of course nothing is happening yet so we gotta wait until we start the fight there we go hello sir hello hi just try the things oh my God destroying the camera just gave us a massive stutter there oh of course it's it's starting to load those shots and stuff like that and the the terrible part about this game is even on my RTX 4080 I5 13600k overclocked system it was still the same crap stuttering like crazy guys I just don't know man games these days are such a shame when it comes to optimization I think I would just lock this to 30 fps to minimize stuttering a little bit and get used to the 30 FPS experience you're playing against bots anyways like the police are just AI so it should be fine at 30 frames per second next we have the steel gorgeous Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1080p resolution with ultra textures medium TAA and everything else set to the lowest here and look at this my friends we get a smooth 40-something frames per second with pretty good visuals with ultra textures it still looks great even on low settings and like newer titles you know oh I hear I hear somebody complaining about a little Jaguar that's attacking them I think so maybe oh I damn cougars see that see that there we go my friends we get to see Jack in this one awesome stuff there he is hello Jack how's it going buddy oh such a beautiful boy oh oh oh oh come on run away from me that's right Bob well I guess we can call him Bob this time around because he actually kills US ah finally in Strawberry really intensive part of the game right here and interestingly I only noticed it now but the vram consumption is only showing 400 and something megabytes obviously it's using some of that Ram as V Ram that's interesting because I have it set to 8 gigabytes in the Bios and every other game actually showed the correct amount it's only this one that isn't showing that something weird but anyway it delivers a smooth experience it's a pretty great one as you can see you can definitely play and enjoy a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 on integrated Graphics like this one now it's the last of us at 1080p using fsr2 on quality we're also using the very low Graphics preset as you can see I guess if we were playing this game back when it released on integrated Graphics it would have been a complete mess but now it's actually smooth the frame time graph is completely stable right there it's getting 39 FPS over here 38 but it's not dropping from 30 and this is a really intensive scene by the way and by the end of this Benchmark run I will actually go to one of the most intensive areas that I've come across in the entire game yeah this is surprisingly smooth guys I really thought this was one of the games that would stutter the most even here the frame time is flat look at that if it doesn't start there right here while jumping this thing I don't think it will ever stutter in this game okay we're approaching one of the most intensive areas oh by the way couple of frame time spikes right there couple of stutters not a problem probably because we have a ton of NPCs on screen at the moment and that's really intensive as well and down here is where I saw the FPS drop the most through my entire playthrough some gpus would drop a little bit more than here on Snowy areas but not all of them and it gets really close anyway so I like the experience not bad now it's Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p using two times msaa no resolution scaling enabled and the medium settings preset and it is actually well above 60 frames per second here I'm curious whether or not it's gonna drop into the 50s in the city area of the game but over here it is buttery smooth look at this that's crazy the frame time graph is flat as well it did have a couple of stutters when I first started it by the way this is my second run here where it's completely normal for the first like 30 seconds you're gonna experience two or three stetters it's not a big deal whatsoever and it still looks great even at medium settings you know oh damn it I forgot about the CPU frequency since I restarted the PC yeah I'm sorry about that I'll enable it back in the next one okay and finally we are in the city area dropping into the mid 60s lower 60s at times of course it will drop a little bit further than that if you are in a race inside of the city itself but uh yeah it's it's mostly 60 plus all of the time that's really good but the tunnel areas are the worst in this game and it does dip into the 50s 59 right there but it's not really noticeable honestly next up is fortnite at 1080p using DirectX 12 and the low settings with TAA and 100 resolution scale and notice that I didn't say stutter Knights yes my friends the game does not really stutter even here on integrated Graphics look at this look at the frame time it's amazing finally we can play fortnite without stuttering in the X12 mode if I was using performance mode I tried it for a little bit and it was a completely mess so I definitely don't recommend that even though you do get higher FPS in that mode this is much more stable and it's not like 130 FPS average is bad right hello there and it's a people person what are you doing here no no very much business turret what what is a business turret I'm really curious right now I'm gonna throw it here okay there it is that's the business turret look at this getting lower or mid 70s right here looking at the the forest why where the shooting at oh there he is there he is should I imagine if that works come on little buddy do it do it kill the vegetables nice oh hello he got stuck that was awesome okay come on little turret nice I love it I love it it's so good dude I'm gonna call it Jack there's the guys it's our time start time to shine Jack let's go let's go do it buddy do it do it buddy do it a couple of people here actually oh boy oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa jack is not here anymore come on I gotta save him let's go Jack are you okay no they killed him they killed my boy they killed my boy Jack you bastard you're gonna die you are definitely dead kind sir oh boy oh boy come on come on gonna get you I am you're dead you're dead for killing Jack you bastard haha there we go oh and he has Jack he actually didn't kill him oh great stuff rescue mission complete now let's see some magic in Hogwarts Legacy with fsr2 on quality this looks better in my opinion than native resolution with that pesky TAA in this game it looks really bad and soft and we're using the low settings with medium population density this is more of a CPU bound setting and will you look at that my friends we're getting 50-ish frames per second sometimes dropping into the 40s one percent lows are always pretty terrible here in hogsmead because it is so damn CPU bound and GP utilization is packed at 99 most of the time but it is fluctuating a little bit at times you can see 96 94 percent right now so it indicates a slight CPU bottleneck here in this area which is one of the most CPU intensive areas in the entire game I'm gonna go to one of the most GPU intensive areas in just a little bit it's down at this River here and it usually drops quite a lot there but it should be fine with this GPU seeing a little bit more stuttering here as we progress a bit faster with our broom 48 fps is the minimum so far this is it this is the area that I wanted to show you and it performs pretty damn well now the experience is very playable and pretty enjoyable but I prefer to lock the FPS here using the river tuner don't lock the FPS using the built-in cap in the game because that won't work very well and this makes it so it's that there's way less okay that frame time graph is now smooth all of the time basically with a few spikes here and there but they aren't really as noticeable as as the other ones previously and now we can enjoy the game really damn smooth look at this and it's coming out of integrated Graphics once again with better visual Fidelity in my opinion again frame time spikes won't go anywhere but it Smooths things out by a lot when locking the FPS let's kill some zombies now in dying lights too at 1080p using fsr2 on quality which looks really good in this game actually and we're playing using DirectX 12 a synchronous compute is on and everything else is set to the very low settings preset now it's not getting those 60 frames per second I wish we could actually get that but yeah this is just too intensive and as you can see it is stuttering quite a lot it was even worse in DirectX 11 mode by the way that's why I chose the dx12 manually and now after oh yeah yeah after it's loaded some of the zombies right here it's it's a little bit better in terms of stability however overall that frame time is not really that great honestly so yeah in this game I guess we are seeing some big issues by playing it on integrated Graphics I guess it needs dedicated vram it needs a dedicated GPU with faster than ddr5 Ram speeds yeah I guess this is a game to avoid with integrated Graphics unfortunately not all things can perform very well in this Mini PC right but in terms of average performance 49 FPS is pretty respectable in a game like this next up is valerint at 1080p resolution using High settings with a low UI quality and no anti-aliasing and we're getting around 200 frames per second which is quite decent you know sometimes it drops into like the mid 100s but that is extremely smooth indeed even with a high refresh rate monitor of course now I don't really like valorent very much guys got it gotta be honest here I I just I suck at it in CS go I'm pretty good invalidant it's just too hard for some reason people are very very try hards in this one hello there but yeah this game is very adequate for a system like this as you can clearly tell it gets very good FPS and it's on high settings if you must have even higher frames low settings are there for you although we do have a CPU bottleneck in this one what are you doing here Eminem okay come on dude so yeah with the CPU bottleneck maybe things won't really change that much if we lower the settings so might as well keep them on high here enjoy decent visuals and good performance and have fun even being competitive now it's Resident Evil 4 remake at 1080p resolution using quality FSR and the prioritized performance settings okay guys let's start counting our FPS I was seeing massive stuttering issues the first time that I jumped into the game by the way it was loading this part and now that everything loaded it's pretty smooth but I guess if you come across a new area in the game it will start stuttering we'll see we'll play through the chainsaw demo a little bit over here so far so good here we go look at the soup it looks magnificent yes very very good honestly the look of that super reminded me of Counter Strike 2 on the below minimum requirements PC that I made yesterday so very interesting if you haven't checked that one yet please do so it's a very nice video actually I think so at least and we're out of the house now with 69 FPS on average of course the averages are only that high because we were in an enclosed area but you know what it's still very playable even even if it drops into the 40s lower 40s I mean even high 30s it's gonna be fine let's kill these registers come on there we go for some reason they don't die with a bullet to their heads getting 50s 40s oh I'm sorry I've got okay goodbye goodbye good you need to derp why can't I kill anybody damn it at least I also don't die with a pitchfork to my abdomen yes oh there's another okay now we're dead let's move on to the next one did you think I would forget to visit Jack in his true habitat in GTA 5 of course not we're playing at 1080p resolution using very high textures High settings everything else basically and advanced Graphics are all turned off and look at that this is integrated Graphics guys getting 80 something FPS right here in GTA 5. usually with Intel XE graphics for example or even stuff like the 680m from last generation you would drop into the 50s here or in the case of integrated Graphics drop into the 30s playing with these settings right here but with the 780m and with a fast CPU like this one which is still slightly bottlenecking the card over here in GTA this is very CPU intensive of course you can achieve a buttery smooth 60 plus all of the time no problems it's not that impressive considering that it's GTA 5 it's really well up optimized you know and it's 10 years old I mean it's 80 years old on the PC but it's 10 years old since the game first released on PS3 and Xbox 360. yeah it still amazes me the kind of performance that we can get in this game given that it's such a big open world now Moment of Truth my friends does Jack like this APU I don't know yet oh it's dropping from 60fps over here by the way near these very intensive bushes that's because we have the grass quality set to high set to normal it wouldn't drop but it would look way worse and Jack is here hello my friend how's it going buddy good to see you he likes this little if you see that he'll even talked to us it's been a while oh goodbye Bob and now that the balance in the universe is restored we can move on to the conclusion in the last two games and it's finally conclusion time my friends I'll still have a couple of games right here Assassin's Creed Valhalla as well as Rainbow Six Siege to show the performance on this Mini PC while we go through what I thought about using this little thing something that we haven't talked about here in this video is the CPU performance the CPU itself is really fast for things like Photoshop Premiere Pro editing and rendering during video with your program of choice this CPU won't have an issue whatsoever especially at its Max TDP of 54 Watts which this handles really well with decent temperatures now is it worth 759 Euros that's a lot to ask for a mini gaming PC like this one the ryzen 7 7940hs was very similar in performance to this I took a look at that a few months ago and that was 869 Euros if I'm not mistaken nice compared to the ryzen 9 option and a few other options in the Mini PC market this is actually worth it but the thing is if you want to get into PC gaming for as cheap as possible and have an entry-level experience which is what this provides you can build a much better PC for 759 Euros that's for sure okay so this is not for everybody as usual but if you're interested in a Mini PC it's a pretty decent one thank you very much for watching this video don't forget to like And subscribe if you haven't already I really hope you enjoyed taking a look at the sur7 Mini PC here and catch you in the next one very soon as always love you all bye bye
