Rain and Hailstorm

  • Big drops of rain start falling; Lencho feels happy.
  • Suddenly, a strong wind and hailstones follow.
  • Hail destroys crops, leaving the fields white and barren.
  • Lencho is devastated, compares it to a locust plague.
  • Lencho remarks that they will have no corn and will go hungry this year.

Hope and Faith
