Biting Surfaces
: Brush both top and bottom teeth.
Front Teeth (Inside Surface):
Upper Teeth: Tilt brush vertically, move downwards.
Lower Teeth: Tilt brush vertically, move upwards.
For Others’ Teeth:
Follow the same principles as brushing your own teeth.
Importance of Effective Brushing
Plaque Removal
: Prevents bleeding gums and tooth loss.
Sugar and Plaque Interaction
: Can lead to tooth decay.
Post-Brushing Advice
Spit out remaining toothpaste.
Do Not Rinse
with water or mouthwash to allow fluoride to protect the teeth effectively.
