hello this is Jack from gambling Insider and I'm here with Duncan Pollock of Dr gaming technology thank you very much for your time Duncan I appreciate it hey so first of all can you talk to me about web- based reporting yeah I mean I think uh I'm not sure if it's new for everybody but it's definitely new for us uh and it comes down to let's call it making things light uh invariably you know reporting is one of the backbones of what we do as a casino management service provider uh and as a result things have always been let's say not held up but stored on a server or cloud-based or whatever uh and as a result there's invariably some fancy download that needs to be on someone's phone or computer um and what webbased allows is uh the casino operator slots manager marketing person whoever needs to look at some stats uh to do it from their home so literally just open up Safari or whatever else go in and find it um and then to add to that as well we've tweaked kind of what they look like a bit so they're a little bit more user friendly I'm an X marketing guy so there needs to be nice pie charts and graphs and stuff to make it easy to read and I I think that's what we managed to accomplish so that's really what it's about easy to find light easy to find on your phone and use and easy to read thank you that's a very in depth answer and how do you encourage player engagement and retention um I think there's there's two different types of players right you you have the the the play for fun if you like so they go to the casino every now and again because there's a cool concert or they might be on holiday in maau or in Vegas um and they kind of there and invariably are after big flashy stuff it looks cool you know um and then you have the other regular customer who lives in proximity maybe they visit the casino once or twice a month and you want to try and get them to come once or twice a week um and that's what's key and I think what we're able to do through the casino management system we offer and the reporting that I was referring to a little bit earlier on is to afford an opportunity for statisticians within the casino slots managers themselves the marketing guys to slice and dice and try and find segments of customers where you can change that player Behavior uh and I think the core thing there around the management system and a decent management system is a to have the data to have reporting that's able to give you information you want that's relevant and then having the functionality from a Communications point of view through the system to push that content out to the right customers so as long as you're able to give them a reason to come at the right time and at a time they could actually come then you're doing a good job and finally just to wrap things up 2020 was your 10th anniversary at ice how has ice Chang changed since then been doing some homework yeah well between 2020 and now we had two IES that didn't happen suppose they melted right cheesy um yeah so I think I think for us you know it started in 's court and and for me personally it's always been a classy event um you know I think Clarion does a really good job um and it it remains in my view probably the premier gaming exhibition in the world notwithstanding the number of customers just what it looks like the effort exhibitors go to the effort visitors go to it really is a great show and to me it's just got bigger and bigger and better it has you know I I I read interviews from Stuart hunter from claran saying it's going to be better and that's what they're supposed to say right but it is uh so I think from a 2024 point of view it's kind of sad to say goodbye to London but I think it's exciting times the move to Barcelona I think it be good for everybody and maybe some sun yeah here's hoping let's let's hope and see thank you very much for your time Duncan I appreciate it thank you cheers
