[Music] so in this video as you can see on the other side of the pond wall um instead of putting blocks I'm just using the existing wall as the end part of it uh using a 1x 2 in uh piece of wood uh drill into the concrete um along with the uh the girlo garden edger that will be holding the pond liner once I get it uh I've never seen it done before I thought it was cool um so we'll see how it turns out so now I'm putting the uh underliner um basically this is a carpet underliner that I'm using um you can find these at any carpet shop they normally just throw it away so I just asked for it um and then some of my old liner as well you'll see in a minute so going back to that existing wall that I mentioned earlier um this might help some of you guys if you guys are planning on doing the same type of project I am where you're using the existing concrete wall as your actual uh Pawn instead of you know putting another layer of blocks um and the reason why I didn't do that was because the Pawn's going to look more narrow it's going to look smaller um this way the Pawn's going to look you know more bigger and nicer uh with the flush type of look so again this is is I'm using a a 2X 1 in uh piece of wood uh going across I drill it into the existing concrete and once I get the liner um the liner is going to sit on top of it and then once I do that I'm going to use that VG girlo garden edger to put on top of it and then drill in some holes and screw it down across um so that's going to put some some strength on it where the liner will won't even fall off or rip off for whatever reason and you'll see in a minute um on how I did that is so here's the pond liner um I'm using the Firestone 45 mil I think the size of this one is a 25x 15 so as you can see here I already screwed in some screws against that existing wall um here I'm just drilling um another hole into that brick wall um and putting another screw on it and again underneath that regural um edger is that piece W I was talking about this helps supports that um that edger where where I'm screwing that screw in um and so that's going to help it make it uh strong um as structure-- wise this is the box that the edger came in with again it's from Home Depot you can find it in the garden section and I just got done here screwing all the bolts in making sure it's nice and secured so in the next video I'm going to be filling the pond with water it's going to be exciting guys but anyway before I go I just want to say thank you to all the new subscribers um thanks for tuning in and coming this far stay tuned for more I have plenty of videos coming up regarding this new Pond buil thanks for watching
