Hematology and Parasite Analysis Lecture

Introduction

  • Location: The clinic
  • Focus: Hematology, examining live blood samples

Live Blood Cells Overview

  • Erythrocytes (Red Blood Cells)
    • Can live 15 to 45 minutes in a healthy sample
  • Parasites in Blood
    • Affecting erythrocytes, consuming nutrients
    • Visible in plasma (watery substance) and inside erythrocytes

Blood Sample Observations

  • Microorganisms and Parasites: Visible in the sample, consuming nutrients
  • Fibrin: Straight lines in plasma; due to immunoglobulin
    • Causes erythrocyte aggregation leading to clotting
    • Risks: Heart attack, stroke, thrombosis

Erythrocyte Malformations

  • Poikilocyte: Irregularly shaped cells
    • Lack of oxygen, iron, folic acid
  • Echinocyte: Spiky cells
    • Lack of Vitamin B-17, B-12
  • Elliptocyte: Oval-shaped cells
    • Indicates lack of oxygen

Parasite Analysis

  • Various parasites identified in the sample
    • Mucoracemosis: Rod-shaped parasite
    • Erythrocyte aggregation hindering blood flow
    • Pleomorphism: Parasites changing form

Immune System Observations

  • Basophils in Leukocytes (White Blood Cells)
    • Active, phagocytosing cells
    • Immune response against parasites

Diagnostic Details

  • Seeing multiple types of parasites and cell anomalies in a single sample
  • Vitamin deficiencies: B-12, folic acid, B-17
  • Poor blood flow leading to aggregation and clotting
  • Lymphatic system activity affecting blood sample analysis

Equipment and Procedure

  • Use of crystallized microscopy for high-detail viewing
  • Techniques: Brightfield and Darkfield
  • Blood sample from capillary bed (finger) preferred over venous system

Comprehensive Blood Analysis

  • Studying live and dead tissues, different cell types
  • Fibrin and immunoglobulin causing complications in blood flow
  • Diagnostic purpose and lab procedures for genetic and DNA testing

General Health Advice and Observations

  • Recognizing Parasite Symptoms
    • Shortness of breath, itching, cravings, digestive issues, etc.
  • Detoxification Recommendations
    • Water fast, balanced diet, avoiding certain foods and drinks

Personal Consultations

  • Details on how to seek advice and consultations
  • Emphasis on a holistic approach: diet, environment, stress management
  • Importance of proper health equipment and accurate diagnostics
