Overview

• Dynamic Airsoft Milsim lasting up to 16 hours

• Wolverine MTW: High performance, likened to a Nerf gun
• Gas Blowback Rifles: Preference due to fun factor
  • Considerations: Field longevity, practical use
  • Chosen Gun: GHK AK74U

Gear Preparation

Night Compatibility

• IR Laser Illuminator: Hollow Sun LS 321 (Class One laser IR combo)
  • Scope rings with Picatinny mounts zip-tied to the flash hider
  • Issues: Post-pandemic gun bend

Flashlight Mounting

• Repro Sure Fire Light: Taped to the front of the gun
• Button switch: Repro, controlled via rifle tape

Optics

• Red Dot: Hollow Sun, side rail mount
  • Allows passive aiming at night without giving away position
• Zero adjustment and alignment with laser

Rig Setup

• Plate Carrier: Ferro Concepts FCPC with HALY Strategic Micro (AK mags)
• Kill-flag: Attached to the cumberbund for quick deployment

• Hate wearing helmets but necessary for recording and night vision
• Kill light: Bright red, easily noticeable

Game Background

• Economic and social crises lead to independent villages and smuggling
• Emergency Response Team abandoned by their leader
• Military unit dispatched to investigate gun smuggling and recover valuables

First Mission and Encounter

• Dispatched in a heavily armed vehicle
• Encounter with a protest; tension with hostile protesters
• Cleared the first area, got shot and had to respawn

Second Attempt and Loadout Change

• Opted to use a full-auto SMG (MP9)
• Tasked with reinforcing a forward operating base (FOB)

Strategic Movements

• Held FOB against potential rear attacks
• Advanced to secure additional field areas and avoid Minefields
  • Discovered part of a predator drone (mission-critical)

Fuel Delivery and Final Operations

• Delivered fuel in severe rain and secured immobilized vehicle
• Multiple engagements with enemies trying to reclaim positions
• Several respawns and lengthy walks

Equipment Highlights

• Tape measures and ziplocs became essential tools
• High praise for the vehicle for ensuring dry conditions, despite exhaust inhalation

Night Operations and Recording Issues

• Attempted to record night operations using a GoPro and PVS-14
