sup guys Jordan here now we got a massive video today now this is a full day in the life with me similar to the ones that you've got a my YouTube channel at the moment but a lot better quality I actually brought Joe down for the day Joe hides from hold the frame he came down and filmed me for the day followed me around I mean we've got client meetings video calls with clients we're going to add strategies I'd diagnose student add strategies meetings with the team there's all sorts going on and it's just a really really great video you're gonna absolutely love it get a ton of value from release these videos now I'm gonna be back here in this seat at the end of the video because there's a few things that I have changed in my business since I recorded this day-in-the-life okay this was recorded in February this year long time ago and so there are little things that we've streamlined in our business and I'm gonna be talking about that at the end of the video so make sure you stick around to that so without further ado let's get straight into it so one of the things was actually quite cool I read this morning and the Dean put in a millionaire success habits he spoke about are you a thermometer or a thermostat okay so are you in control of the temperature in your life what does the temperature of your life control you if you have fought a thermometer then you wake up in the morning and you read that temperature you're like what how am I going to be today how happy am I you gauge that level okay house business house house family house friends but if you are a firm estat you control that temperature you set that temperature to how you want to be in life what's your sweet spot what's that perfect temperature that keeps you happy and I love that I think that's a really great analogy I'm gonna be using that all the time so I want you to think about what shorts in this video are you a thermometer or are you a gonna be a thermostat are you gonna be in control of your life are you gonna let your life control you and so we're gonna go to the gym we'll come back and I'll run you guys through the itinerary we have before the day I'm looking forward to it's gonna be who I'm started working with so I have a catch-up call with them I think around 11:00 a.m. we've set the meeting for I have to check my schedule so got a meeting on skype with this new client talking about strategy and and what we're gonna do on their new ad campaign because I always like to do the ads myself for my clients the first time round before I hand them over to my ads guys especially when it's a new client I let them in take over but I like to get those first batch bad so myself I'm gonna be doing that and we have lunch with one of my other content creators Chris he's a photographer and he does lots of photography for local businesses for me he also does a lot of my personal branding photography as well and at some point in the during the day I need to have a catch up with Nick who is my Instagram manager he managed my personal Instagram as well as the growth for my clients Instagram accounts as well so I'm gonna go for all of that with Nick had probably a load of other little work things are going to pop up throughout the day as I always do I need to catch up with the team so it's all going to be exciting the guys are in for a treat today I'm so we're gonna get back in the flat and get showered up and we'll get started did you like yeah sorry I've got it up and running today so I'm waiting for it to be approved hopefully it'll be approved what to report the no2 approved yet I'm spending about 240 pounds a day on that ad yeah I'm gonna go dig out okay that's what that was my biggest fan for my adverts and businesses just checking in I've got a call with a client any minute and his name's William he's our brand new client who we've signed up they they provide a graphic design services which has really cool down an e-commerce client so I'm really looking forward to this we're gonna be talking about the strategy moving forward with them and I'm also waiting on some content with them so I need to get them give them a bit of a slap on the wrist of that and we're actually gonna start working on creating their advert after that phone call as well so I'm gonna record that so you can see the process that I go through when I'm working on starting with a new client you know up all night getting that content together for me how's things been going and how are we getting on with my content and stuff I can show you the booklet mm yeah that'll be great to you but yeah I think the different times will be better cos looking at their de book I think it would look better with like a shorter title cuz it just looked like it's too much it's too busy on the front page yeah I wanted to be attractive for people because that's gonna be the front end offer obviously and we're giving people that like as the bait I want that to look as attractive as possible not not not too worthy any adds up for you yet because I wanted wait because because it's so important to me it's like to have at least half the sequence so I've been wasting ad copy so I've got like some ad copy for you so I'll put that together and then I've done like the email sequences and everything we've got them done so that's all up and running but what so I just want that like the e-book landing page done so because that's gonna be the front end off we're gonna be getting all the cold traffic through to there and then obviously retargeting them with with with your product this is a lot this is even for my team this is a much bigger actual marketing like strategy that we normally do because for you guys it's like you have a really good product but you want to literally infiltrate the industry and dominate it so quickly the only we can yeah I know agree and that's why I don't just want to do what other people will do with you and create a couple of Facebook Ads then just reach out so that's why I want to do this whole big picture because yes it's extra work but the only way that we're going to get you up with them guys who are making millions like done millions monthly is is by doing the really good in-depth strategies so I'm so confident with it okay yeah today's a good time so I'll get started mine's more ad copying stuff so I'm ready for tomorrow and then okay guys so and that's that's Willie Mays he's the new client and so we literally started work with him at the start of this month but there's kind of been much bit of an uphill battle getting content but it's only because I've given them loads to do Lucy task them with so much stuff see guys we've got doing quite an in-depth strategy for them with on ebooks we have email opt-ins is quite an in-depth strategy the type of thing that you're probably not gonna have to do for a very very long time these are a practical I'm we've got them on a bi-monthly Betania so we're putting in the extra mile for them because they don't want to just make a couple of extra thousand pounds of us they want to make million and millions of pounds and extra revenue so very high ticket client and completely the opposite kind of what you would be doing when you're first starting out when you're working with local brick and mortar businesses you're working with restaurants James dentists companies like that those ad strategies are so damn easy like so easy they make these look like a marathon said they're like little jogs down to the shop like they're they're so so easy so don't get that don't get by daunted by boat boy when I speak to clients like this because these are like the high ticket guys that I've been working on went further I've been working on strategies for for for a does photo to all my personal branding stuff so we'll do like my Instagram pictures I mean you probably already seen this this picture here on my Instagram recently this is like a recent shoot we had so this is some of the pictures we've got this is like some of the personal branding stuff I use your you do photography for businesses at the minute so you want to start maybe incorporates and social media marketing into that so make more weapons because you charge like what you talked about 500 pound a day I mean you definitely could it be so easy for you to like use the clients you've already got the existing connections yeah just make much more money out then put them on monthly retainer so you're not then making like 500 pound a larger I mean you do video content to Joe does video content guys and so Joe obviously does lots of video content for me and he took a social media marketing school and he actually started social media marketing agency off the back of that and and still offers his video service on top so he's charges like a big day rate from video production on top of his service charge for his clients the thing that Joe had to give this client you can make a really great video you can make some really great photo content and you can give it to the client and it's their job to do something within well what a nice a hang look let me take that away from you as well because they could be doing a crap job of doing something with it so let me take that away from you and make sure that what you're actually doing with it is hole that's gonna make you money because also the point and you spending 500 pounds on a day write to me to do some photos if you're not going to make money off that on the back end [Music] okay so that was nice it's been long overdue for ketchup of crisps so it's pretty informal lunch to be honest what you saw was actually pretty much all the business chat that we had I always like to try and catch up offends as I can do and the way you can try and fit it into my schedule and I haven't seen Chris for a while but since I moved into the local city again it makes sense to do so so yeah that's Chris so guys we're back from lunch and I'm getting to a cause I'm aware that I've got this new client and we're starting with they've sent me over a bunch of content a bunch of video content for their Facebook Ads so I've got all of this content here which I'm just going up going through and making sure what's good what's actually not so good and what can I actually use for adverts and I'm picking and choosing what adverts that I'm going to start running for this company and then I'm going to put them over on to adverts manager so I'm gonna get them imported onto Facebook ad for that manager start actually writing some advert out now I don't want to go into any like confidential information it's very important to me that that I'm always very law to my clients I work with and and as such I don't think would be fair to me to go through all of their details with you guys on this video so I keep that very close to home but I'm gonna start working on - mad birds actually writing out the adverts and getting them launched so we're ready for actually going live tomorrow and then I'm in Marrakesh on Friday so I want to have that all handed over to my team so I don't have to worry about anything else so I'm gonna get cracking with this [Music] Nick how are we page or they doing good good I'm good how are you I'm good thank you so those you've got just a bit about crimes and nick is actually Nix Nix enrolled into the social media marketing school a while back and now it's become really good personal friendly - and my Instagram he manages my clients lots of my clients instagrams as well and he's also a mentee of me at the minute Nick has actually grown a really successful Instagram marketing agency and he is now in the midst of making his own online training program for Instagram agency at mr. doing a really really great job you should check him out on YouTube but how's the agency going anyway the agency is going good ages is good I'm getting tons of referrals coming through like you said pushing for referrals just honestly it can be such a good kid who deliver results and they're they're easiest sort of clients to pick up referrals and you can always charge more I find then cold customers which is just yeah you know yeah and you're killing over the agency stuff but so you you literally just do Instagram like management and add stone you so you know you doing like Facebook and stuff at all I didn't touch Facebook I do Instagram growth strategy for clients and now thanks to you touching on Instagram ads but I don't use Facebook placements it's just like just trying to focus on Instagram Joe and I wanted to ask you something on this call actually obviously I've been doing referrals and you know I do a lot of cold email and DMS and I have no problem closing these like one or two grand clients but I need to go after some bigger fish ideally it sounds like a big number but five to 10 K clients I'd love to land a couple of them do you have any sort of tricks or input or any ideas for me are you doing are you doing much video outreach at all I don't really do videos sometimes in the dm's I'll send like a personalized video but it's nothing I don't really put much strategy it's just like a greeting okay so it's more like just like an iPhone video yeah okay and what I would recommend you doing is going over to loom comm so Lulu's really cool loom basically it enables you to record yourself like your webcam and your screen at the same time it's a bit similar to what I do on Facebook and you can go over onto your client Instagram profile you go on like Instagram web for instance and you can be talking through about their content strategy and talking to them about what you think you could do to improve on their business okay but with these clients who are like five ten thousand pounds or dollars a month they're you it's going to be like it has to be based on ads okay so I know you do a lot of management and you've got like some ridiculous like I mean you've got some clients where you're charging like a thousand class for like management but it's like large-scale management but if you're doing like five ten grand retainers you need to be doing massively revenue generating things so you want to be working on a full Instagram ad strategy so what I would do is I would find businesses in the e-commerce space who are an on Instagram already maybe just pick an industry say you want to do like clothing and you're looking on like Instagram and you're googling like clothing stores you look at it there instagrams are like like how good they are first of all like start off from Google and like search for like clothing stores for instance and then click on their social links so check that they're actually a good store that are actually already making money and then check on their their their fate an Instagram and a Facebook or whatever and see how much they're actually doing on there already and if you think right there's an opportunity here just like you do I mean I don't have to tell you how to suck excuse you you know you only know what what counts to look out for which are which are losing out on potential revenue but you want to look at the guys who were already doing really well on other platforms and really losing out on Instagram so it's like you're already a shit-hot business and you're already making money and this is the void that I can fill for you and showed them that on loom so talk them through maybe even what you've done with a previous client be like look at this business I used to work with them and I always still work with them and when I started working with and they had like 300 followers and you talk them through the process of how you actually Grove that and provide them loads of our you talk about the content strategy and then maybe even teach them a little bit about ads on that as well or you can keep it really vague and just say hey my name's lik this is what I do I want to arrange a meeting with you I'm gonna have a Skype call with you I just want to go for your page right now is on your Instagram the other day and I was like wow I cannot believe how much money you are leaving on the table and say look I really want to have a Skype call with you just want to shoot me back at the end when you get the chance I want to set up a Skype call cuz I can I want to share some ideas with you no obligation just want to share some ideas and we can talk about if there's any opportunity to work together so if you keep it really really simple you probably have a lot more success doing it like that and and then set up like a Skype call for sure so look for businesses who are already doing well getting revenue from maybe other streams and then show them that they're missing out on an opportunity on Instagram definitely so you want them to even better if you can find a if you can find clients who are running Facebook Ads and not running them on Instagram you've hit the gold mine because I know the value of online advertising already all you need to do is show them okay you're making coin from Facebook right this is how much corn you can be making on Instagram by have you imagined how much money you're making on Facebook already how much money do you make be making on Instagram so that would be a huge audit and that you'd be able to get a massive retaining this book for clients like that okay going to thank you for that I'm gonna give the a well no wise man so what I'll just drop your message and we'll we'll catch up next week or something my pleasure to speak to just catching up on messages from the team now as I said earlier I think I mentioned that my team actually send me messages on whatsapp because I use a lot and whatsapp a lot in my personal life and I'm just used to it so they send me a message on whatsapp easy way to get hold of me and and Mary my PhD she's really great too summarizing everything for me so she'll put together all of my emails all of my Instagram messages Facebook messages VMS client messages absolutely everything and she'll summarize them for me on what that would be to see if I can show you here hopefully the lighting is okay so she sends me messages every day and I reply back to her so it's literally like a manually sending me absolutely all of my messages in in one convenient place for me but she responds to the majority for me and she delegates that so if a client asked for something tweaking of a client Osbert for a report then she'll send that over to to market my ads guy and and he'll manage all of that for me so where she can she will always manage to herself and make sure that I don't have to have as much input but really the messages that she sends over to me the ones that really kind of me II to my need my am need my support okayed things like if somebody wanted to sponsor me on on social media and there's a new potential client who's reaching out to us which which happens a lot and and also with like students have questions which which she can't answer because since working with me she's got very very knowledgeable in the social media marketing space but they're always going to be things that need my personal attention and of course separately from this I do have an exclusive student support email address which only goes through to me so the only communication I really need to have with the outside world on a daily basis apart from the social media content that I put out there and my stories it's speaking to Mary in the team via whatsapp and then exclusive student email address which I respond to personally every day it's very easy just just replying to a couple of messages on my mobile phone and it's so great when you have a team who've work like this for you building a team is just the most incredible thing okay when you build a team and they work for you and they they know what to do and it runs smoothly so that's just an amazing thing and it allows me to be able to chill out and sit on the balcony and drink a coffee and then have a chit chat and go out for lunch with friends and and really have quite a chill day because I think Chicago's will agree we've got a pretty chill day today and this is genuinely like what the average day is like for me okay yes there's been times in between where we haven't been filming where I've been working on symptom or private work with my clients and stuff but pretty I've had a pretty chill damage overview how's your day been it's not it's been Devine exactly and that's how I want it to be I don't want to die didn't want to never wanted to start a business or I could be become more busy than I was before and wanting to start a business because I wanted that time freedom I wanted to be able to do what I want when I want and and not and I didn't want to be a thermometer I wanted to be a thermostat I wanted to control my there and I referred to that earlier one this morning I wanted to be able to control my day instead of having my day control me so what we're going to do is we're just going to finish this up and we'll have a chat and because we've got a few projects that we need to be working on together I know Joe you've got a few clients you want me to look at as well we'll probably record that actually what Joe wants to do to throw me is a decanter for thinking already mentioned so we're going to finish up what we're doing here and then we're going to jump onto to Joe's Mac have a look at that ad account and see what I can do for them right so let's see these as first of all guys just realize that the lav mic was actually in my pocket the whole time we're just standing sitting outside which is a schoolboy error but I'm not going to worry about that at all you're still being able to hear me so that's absolutely fine anyway Joe would you would you want me to look at what's this your so this is your new client so this is my new client here I've been I've started off running those dynamic ads the the ads that you taught me about in your course which have been really really effective so I've been getting basically a fifteen to twenty times return on on my ad spend with those dynamic product ads yeah which is literally by insane obviously this client is over the moon and they've already started referring me on to other clients which is great I'm guys I'm just probably throw up some footage of this so you can actually see what we're talking about now just to give you a quick little bit of background Joe took my enrolled into social media marketing school I think I mentioned earlier before we kind of met formally and he started his own digital marketing agency in us what he does now and he has a Stein of a new Klein their clothing store and they sell clothing for this like outdoor sports isn't it you've started working with them I released a new module to the course and it's about e-commerce and I mean Joe has spent here 200 and no 303 pounds now 400 pounds and forty-three pence and he's got them three thousand four hundred and eighty four pounds so that is a on average it's a it's a return on adspend by twelve okay so it's twelve times ad spent but some of these ads here are doing over 20 return twenty return on adspend so that's like 20 times ad spent which is that's that's phenomenal really really great result okay so we are back in the present okay now for the rest of that day we didn't record the evening because me and Joe just went out for a couple of drinks and had a catch-up had some food and stuff so it was all non business related so it didn't need to go in the vlog but yeah that was a day in the life of me in February this year now what days haven't changed an awful lot since then apart from the fact that a few things I no longer run ads so I no longer do the ad to myself we've expanded the team massively since then so the team now do all the ads rush to do the implementation they send them over to me and I approve them of like yet call get them live which just works beautifully because it means I can focus on what I enjoy the most which is business development and management which is yet which is great and what else has changed my days change on the day say basis though so like people always ask me like what is your schedule like what is your day-to-day routine it changes everyday like for me life would be hella boring if I was doing the exact same thing every day what's my morning routine stays the same what I do on a daily basis changes all the time I'm in different places I'm speaking to different people I'd do different things in the morning than the evenings and yeah it all changes it depends what I'm working on at the moment so there's no strict routine that I actually follow we also don't use whatsapp any more to manage the team as I said teams have expanded massive really I think we're like three or four members back then when out seven members not all of them full-time but there's still a lot more people to manage so we now use slack to communicate so slack is a workplace management tool you can have individual chat but you can also have group chat so we've got like a chat or add we've got a chat for sales or get a chat for a copy so yeah that's really really great that's one way we've streamlined the business it's probably other things in there but it's probably quite a chill day actually that that day in the life that was like spring this year so it's pretty chill just pretty laid-back things have been a lot more hectic recently I couldn't even imagine having somebody follow me around with a camera in the last couple of weeks it's just how busy it's been but yeah that's that's a day in the life of me and let me know if you enjoy that kind of video if you
