we believe in the power of people first leadership to transform individuals organizations in communities as we continue to grow our dedication to this Mission remains unwavering we are not just saurin Robinson Ezekiel all of you guys that are doing Ivana thank you you're doing a great job keep the growth coming okay we're not done but we're not done because Craig Ratliff who has been a team member for a long time is helping us with global expansion and he's been working diligently with our Indonesian and I wanted to thank you publicly CU this is a massive deal that you guys have put together you're going to hear about it in just a minute but give Craig a hand because his passion is global expansion and so John I'm going to let you kind of charge our Indonesian team in just a minute but you're getting ready to hear from David T our president of Indonesia you're goingon to you're going to hear from David P right here man he's the guy that makes it happen you're going to hear from Mary and I I just want you to know that when you hear from these people we've met them we know them they are truly already World Changers here's what I love about Partners like you you don't need us but with us we're going to go higher together they're doing great things but together we can make a difference and John you've taught us that and before we hear from David T I just I just want you to be able to charge them and and uh tell this group what this means to you well earlier I talked about the leadership lid and if you have an organization join it what kind of lid do you have and when we began to work with Indonesia what we discovered Mark is the lead leadership lid that you have is enormous because you're already very influential in the country you already are leaders in the country you already are greatly respected we you're the kind of people that you start at John Maxell company with and so we are honored we're very honored that you would allow us to come alongside and serve you and partner with you and because of your quality of leadership and your incredible Compass of influence we know that Indonesia is going to be one of our Prime Maxwell leadership areas in the world and out of Indonesia will just touch so much more of Asia I've been in Asia many times I've spoken there so many times once you get into Asia and the people really become committed to something you follow through with Excellence you absolutely lead the way so for you to be a part of our uh team is an honor and we are thrilled to pass on the Baton we are thrilled to partner with you and we want to serve you in the greatest way so that we can help the people of Indonesia also live that high road and develop a culture that will really be lifechanging in a positive way so as we pass this Paton on to each of these three we don't take this lightly John what you've taught us to lead well we're going to continue not only in America not only in other countries that we're already in but we're going to take it like you've never seen into Indonesia and we're going to do it with these three people that you're going to give this Paton so will the three come forward hi John Maxwell along thank you sir thank you and so now will you stand and welcome the new president of well leadership Indonesia David T mic good morning everybody uh my name is David once again and uh five months ago I was exactly in this room like you all taking notes and learning from John and Mark and everybody on the stage and uh I had the opportunity to speak with John a little bit and in one to two minutes in the conversation John actually stopped me and he says that I know who you are and then he said this he say you owe me a book and I thought no that's not exactly how it happens that this is my story and I'm sticking with it all right and so 8 years ago John was in Indonesia and when he was in Indonesia you know uh in Indonesia people looking for who is going to be his translator so as the fate goes I was the translator and then we were in a room like this and I need you all to along together with me you know and when when we were in the stage uh John start to say good morning Indonesia so I say Indonesia and right after that John says that if any of you understands what I'm speaking I need to play along with me can you please raise your hands and so the whole room put their hands up so I got the job for 30 seconds because he say hey my name is John I'm your friend but you have fired my friends so I went down the stage so uh I didn't I didn't actually get the job but what I got is that that day John imparted something into my life John told me that you need to write a book and so eight years later in this room at the backstage John reminded me that you need to write a book so John in the past five months since we met the last time I've written two books and I'm writing my third book right now come on come on yeah so uh there was 3,000 people in that room 8 years ago in Indonesia I am the prodigal son that John and Mark has been waiting for so long to come home that's right that's right so I know for a fact there is at least another 2,999 lost kids that will be coming home to Maxwell leadership indonation come on yeah come on there is there is a uh 200 80 million people in Indonesia so I think we can do a little bit better than 2,999 that's exactly but we're going to set the bar 2999 and go from there so just from the depth of my heart we just want to thank you and thank you for trusting us providing us partnership providing us friendship we look forward to do this together with you for many many years to come so thank you so much thank you so much thank you so much D I'm so proud of you proud if it's okay I I like to do one more thing go for it you country that I've never bought him a m Blan pin in I buy him a m Blan pin and and here we've not g Indonesia together and you got one from Indonesia thank God for you I don't have to buy one now in Indonesia how many do you have Mark you have 41 that's 41 yes 41 pins from 40 that I love that thank that's so kind and and this is okay thank you wow on you oh my yes thank you so much thank you thank you this is warn by the second president of uh Indonesia St PN he said that this is worn by the president of Indonesia it's the same pattern that the president has and I'm so honored to wear it I'm so honored to partner with you and I'm we're just isn't this beautiful to see the birth of another country into our into our organization and the expansion of what we're doing and we're just grateful we're grateful to you you can tell when you listen to Mary when you listen to David you can tell we have quality leaders we have high influential people in this country and they're you're going to do so well and we're so excited to just be a part of it and thank you for these yeah one more time will you let us know let the Indonesia team know we're behind them we're for them we support them and we believe it's going to be incredible isn't that beautiful look proud of so you can sit down for one more second we're getting ready to transition we've made it a lot about Indonesia and our presidents up here because everything Rises and falls on leadership and these are brilliant leaders behind me women and men that know how to lead but I promise you it's not about us it's about people in Indonesia people in Spanish-speaking countries speak people in French speaking countries and so on that need to hear the same message that is radically re evolutionizing us and transforming Us in
