You were once not a people. You once did not have mercy. But he's made you his own. You are a chosen generation. And you have obtained mercy. But now in your weakness, don't go and hide. Don't say, "No, I can't come to church anymore." And stop with all those excuses and go running to his throne and obtain mercy. Wake up. No shame, no condemnation and keep moving forward because you have met with a God who is named [Music] merciful Heat. Heat. [Music] [Laughter] [Music] Got me feeling so high. Got me feeling so high. Got me feeling like I can change the world tonight. Most important time for some of us. You know, I was thinking today this time, seat time for some of you on some days or maybe every week will be the hardest time. It might be the hardest time to put into your pocket or to look at your wallet, feel like, hi, and take out what you think you can afford to give. But I want to remind you again that he's a promisekeeping God. Remember last time I told you, he told Abraham at 75 years to leave everything he knows, his family, his friends, everything, and go to another land. And he said, "Don't worry, Abraham. I've got your back." And I know that in this church, in this soil, this ground, he's the same God. Quick raise of hands. How many of you here can put your hand up with honesty and say you have given when you've had nothing or you've really counted on him for a breakthrough and you have got that breakthrough? Put your hands up. Oh my goodness. Look around you. Wow. Look at this. This this soil, this ground you have swed in and you have reaped. And you know in Psalm 126 it says, "Sow in despair or in tears and you can reap joy." Did you know that? Sew in despair or tears and you can reap joy. So today, even if you're in despair, even if you're thinking, gosh, this is my last 100 rupees, bring it in faith. Come with joy and sew here in this fertile ground, counting on the promises of the God that you love and serve. Come on up, Father. We thank you for this seed, whether it's big or small. Lord, we thank you for this seat. We acknowledge, Father, that you give us the ability to make wealth, Father. that everything is from you Lord the beginning and the end. Lord we bless this seed. We ask you to multiply it, press down, shaken together and running over in Jesus mighty name. [Music] Good morning. Welcome to Wow Life Church. All right. Thank you guys. Thank you bandies. like I think one of the best bands ever. You know, I I've been around I've heard sounds, but this is one of the best. I was thinking how every time there's not one time that we haven't felt God's presence after listening to wow worship, right? Amazing. All right. Are you excited to be here? All right. Before I forget, do we have anyone new in this place? If this is your first time or your second time, please lift your hands up. Last time I think I missed a few people. Okay, there. There. Our CC team will give you a card. If you can fill it up and that'll be good. Okay. And then after service, after service, we have a meet and greet on the right side. My right side. Correct. My right side. This door. Okay. Our pastors would like to meet with you and then get to Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Meet with you and get to know you better. All right. I keep thinking how when Ezra and I first came here, we left our family and came and God has given us a hundfold in this community, you know. So, every time I look around, I see family, I see friends, I see brothers, I see sisters, I see mothers and fathers. And if you're looking for a family, this is the place. Okay? So, come join us. Be part of our family. All right. Did I miss anything? Did I miss anything? Home. Home. Home. My home. Okay. All right. I didn't miss anything. Right. Okay. So, the for the longest time. Okay. I grew up in a Christian home and uh for the longest time. So, yeah. Before I saw angels, I saw manifestations of demons. Okay. Now, seeing that, I had a healthy fear of the devil more than a fear of God in me. Okay. So I remember seeing these uh people who would come to my parents to get prayed over heavy manifestations like in India. I don't know it's it's a different level. It's freaky. Okay. It's it's terrible. So I've seen this and I remember seeing that growing up. I thought God's biggest adversary was the devil. So now and um not enough seeing these things. I think we spent most of our life binding and rebuking some demon or the other and there was this face I remember there was this book called okay I can't remember the name of the book but he was very specific in his the names of the demons so people started then naming the devils and praying for them but then I realized God never saw him as his adversary in Colossians 2 it says um wait I wrote the scripture down 2:10 it says he Christ is the head of all principalities and powers and he nailed them to the cross. So now it makes me wonder so who is against God thanks to the word that is preached here you know there are so many things that we re that the word can realign and correct your relationship with God you know um and the word is important for that and this place gives you that it feeds you right it feeds you healthy okay it doesn't deprive anything from you it doesn't take off any nutrition it adds in so I remember Kirby pastor So, Prophet Kirby, sorry, I have to be very careful, very conscious of it. Prophet Kirby taught on the flesh. And then it struck me it was all along flesh that was against God. Starting from Genesis 3 when the f flesh was exposed. Then Genesis 6, God says, I'm not going to strive with these fellows anymore. I can't do this anymore. Flesh is too much. I can't do this anymore. So, fast forward now. See, I am tripping on pentatuke. Now, what is the pentatuke? Sorry, that was my teacher in me that came out. So the pentative, the first five books of the Bible, okay, written by Moses. So I'm I'm always on the search to find grace throughout the scripture. You know, we're so used to only looking for it in the new. We forget grace was always there. He was always there. It was always the plan from the beginning. So now I look at Exodus 19 when um God comes on the mountain. The same mountain where he encountered Moses. Okay. So now then it was this tiny burning bush. This time it's the whole mountain on fire. Imagine that. Okay. You go to Noria, you're trying to climb up the mountain and the whole thing is filled with smoke. Would you go in there? I think we'd even leave the island like swim all the way to India wherever away from this place. But this is what the Israelites Israelites encountered. Okay, this mountain God says, "Okay, I'm going to come in three days. Get ready. Clean yourself up. If you have idols in your camp, please get them out of here. When I come, it's going to be terrible. Just get ready." So, it says they washed themselves three days. It took three days for them to clean themselves up. And then God comes on the mountain. It says it was darkness. It was darkness. The mountain was filled with smoke and there was thunder and lightning. And to top it all, trumpet sound. Now, we've never heard trumpet sound, but imagine it says it was so loud the people trembled. These are war war veterans, you you know they have they are quite um they're used to the sound of trumpet that's their signal to go to war to leave a place to come come into a city now they tremble when they heard the sound of the trumpet and then the lord came down and then he's saying Moses come up if I had been Moses I'd be like it's okay let's meet another day come in my dreams please talk to me in my dream let's not do this but it says interestingly okay the people stayed away from the darkness Moses walked into the darkness. Amazing. Okay, that's a story for another day. But you know something to think on? He walked into the darkness willingly. Nobody forced him. He walked into the darkness. All right. So now Deuteronomy 5 26 says the people see this and they are they know they are going to die. And then it says, "For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of fire as we have and lived?" They knew they were going to die. They knew death was for sure. And then verse 28, it says, "The Lord said to Moses, they have they are right in all that they have spoken. They know what they are doing." So now Deuteronomy 8, it says, sorry I'm quoting scripture. It just comes naturally. The both of us are like that. Okay. But Deuteronomy 8:2, he says he brought them into the wilderness to humble them, to test them, and to show them what was in their hearts. So now these guys standing there looking at this mountain on fire and realized, "Oh my God, we are flesh all through. We are flesh. And if flesh stands in in the presence of God, it's going to die." Psalm 78, God says, now this is Asaf, okay? Another poet who recounts this whole thing. And he's saying God remembered that they were just flesh. And so he him being full of compassion forgave them and did not destroy them. He knew they were flesh. He knew they were flesh. Now they also knew now they it's it's like this light bulb moment. Oh my god, I am flesh. Better not go there. So they move back. Now when after you know you know the story know Moses comes down he looks at them uh doing the unthinkable you know some versions have an explicit understanding of it says they were actually naked and dancing before this idol which God was like hey I I just came down on the mountain what in heaven's name are you doing probably yeah he swore differently but then yeah and then Moses now throws it in anger and Then God says, "Okay, fine. Let's do this again. Let's write this again." And then he makes a provision. Okay. He takes this tablets and God says, "Build an ark. Build an ark. Place these two cherubims on top of them." Okay? And then place this tablets that I give you, this covenant of relationship that I'm making with man. This um how do I put it? This rules of relationship. Just put it in that ark and then let the cherubim cover it and then there will be this small place that where I will meet you. It's called the seat of mercy. In that I will remember you are flesh. All along as I come when my holiness tries to come out I will say no no no it's written in the law they are still flesh. Let me meet them where they are. So what did God do in the end? John 1 it says the word became flesh. The word became flesh and redeemed this flesh for us. And so the that's how God reconciled the enemity between man and God. So now are you ready to receive his mercy? Yeah. Receive his mercy and receive his love and grace and receive the word that can change you completely. Put your hands together and welcome Ezra with the word. Your love got me feeling so high. Got me feeling so high. I've been feeling like I can change the world. Welcome everybody. I hope you're all happy. [Music] I think she should have just continued. And you know, I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing here now anymore. We've just given ourselves so much into the word that it's just natural to quote scripture after scripture after scripture. So that's what you're going to get again. Oh my god, their worship wrecked me. [Applause] It was just something else. I worship you. I worship you. The reason I live is to worship you. I worship you. I worship you. The reason I live is to worship you. Okay. I hope uh I hope you all bring your energy out and help me you need to help me. Um, so I can't just stop the word where I stopped last week. We need to travel the full distance. Uh, is is why you need to understand this as well. I'm just going to take over from where she stopped, where Karen stopped if you are listening. Right. Um, I want you to look at this verse very carefully. Deuteronomy 4:31. That's going to be our That's what we're going to spin this around. Okay. Deuteronomy 4 and verse 31. Um, almost there. Yeah. For the Lord your God is a Come on, you need to shout this with me. For the Lord your God is a merciful God. That's no no. For the Lord your God is a mercy. And because he is a merciful God, he will not he will not forsake you. He will not destroy you. Not because you are the son or not because he is um you know because you look beautiful. No be the Lord your God is the merciful God. And that is exactly why he will not forsake you. He will not destroy you. He will not forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them. Your Lord, your God is a merciful God. And that is what we're going to take some time to understand today. You see the word is so beautiful. It's so beautiful when it when it talks about uh your your latter days will be more glorious than your your your current or your past days, your present or your past. It says it says your end will be more beautiful than your beginning. These are these are promises, right? These are promises. and and and this this today will help you it'll help you understand how to walk that path, right? Because the the guy Paul, what an apostle he is. Oh my goodness, this this man he every time I read I I go nuts when I you know it's like he's so crazy like imagine like I I I shared about Paul last week but uh but I think I could I could only help you understand uh a percent of what he really uh was. And uh this this man says this. He says um in Acts chapter 26 and verse 22, let's start from there. Acts chapter 2. You must be thinking, "Oh, we still haven't started." Yeah. Acts, let's start from here. What did I just say? Acts 22. It says, no, where are we? 26 and verse 22. Acts chapter 20. All right, we are almost there. Okay, we we we are there. This is what Paul is saying. Remember this, we will end here. He's saying, "Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand." Are you with me? This is Paul. This is Paul. He He He went and did what you and I can only I don't even think we would dream of this, but but what he did, right? This man did the most craziest thing on earth. And then he comes and says, "Therefore, having obtained help from the Lord to this day I stand." Somebody, this man, this man is making it very clear. He's saying, "I have done what I've done because I obtained help from the Lord. I was able to stand. I am able to continue. I am able to go witness. I'm able to do everything because I have obtained help from the Lord. We need to we need to understand this. You all know this story of Jesus one day uh coming to uh Peter who was uh fishing right now. If I ask you uh what do you need to fish? uh probably let's start with a boat um a net um few people to help uh he had it all he had it all and he was fishing and never caught a thing and then when Jesus comes he's he's now pulling in a boat load unless you obtain help from the Lord do you understand do I Make that picture clear. Unless you obtain help from the Lord, you can be so well equipped. You can have all the talents, you can have all the abilities, you can have the money, you can have the strength, you can have people around unless you obtain help from the Lord. There was this guy in uh uh can I can I show you this amazing um this guy a king a king unless you obtain help from the Lord I'm going to show you this king but I want to drive this point in very clearly here there's a verse in Psalms that says unless the Lord builds the house unless unless except the Lord Lord watches over the city. Like without that without that idea, you will not you will not survive. Right? Without that idea, unless you obtain help from the Lord, there is this uh story in uh 2 Chronicles. I want you to look at this with me. 2 Chronicles and uh uh from verse 26. Are you all okay? [Music] Where where are we? 2 Chronicles chapter 26. All right. Now, all the people of Judah took the Uzziah. That was the pronunciation that u I managed to get out of Google. Who was? So this guy he's he's made king when he was 16 years old. Now look at this very carefully for a minute. 16 years old. Verse three. Uzziah was 16 years old when he became and he reigned 52 years. He was he was king for how long? He was king for 52 years. Not not 52 years old. He he became king when he was 16 and he reigned for 52 years um in Jerusalem. His mother's name we don't need today. And he did, now he did what was Now listen to me. He did what was right in the sight of the Lord. Okay? He did right in the sight of the Lord. And then the father's name also not necessary. He sought God in the days of Zechariah. That that is important. That is important because he he he educated himself in the things of God. All right. All right. Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God. Now, look at this. As long as he sought the Lord, God made him As long as he As long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper. I like uh look look look how prosperous God made him simply because he sought the Lord unless you obtain help from the Lord. Look at look what this guy did. He went out and made war against the Philistines. Broke down the wall of Gath. All these cities, the Philistine cities, this one king went and managed to destroy them. All look at that. God helped him against the Philistines, against the Arabians who lived in Bal, against the What is that? Somebody help me. How many things do you all right? Also the Amorite Ammonites. If you understand, if you understand the Ammonites are not friends, right? It's it's written they brought tribute. Now look at this. His fame spread as far as the entrance of for he became exceedingly strong. He sought the Lord and the Lord prospered him. Right? The Lord helped him. How? Look at this. The 16-year-old king, his fame has spread everywhere. enemies are bringing him tributes. He has destroyed all the Philist the Philistines their biggest headache. He's destroyed them all. He's war with the Arabians. He's he's done everything. He now he didn't stop there. He built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate at the valley gate at the corner and then then he fortified them. See, look at what he's doing. That means Israel never had any of these things until this guy came in. Israel had none of these things till this guy comes in. He builds towers. He he fortifies the cities. He built towers in the desert. Now, now listen to this for a minute. He dug many wells for he had much livestock both in low lands and in the plains. In the plains meaning in the plains meaning the desert in the w. This this guy he sought the Lord and the Lord prospered him. The Lord helped him that he can go to a desert and dig for wells and have water not for one or two things because he had plenty of livestock. He like the greatest farming is happening now. He had farmers, wine dressers, all that. Now go down verse 11. He had an army of fighting men who went out to war by companies. Like see all this is important because till then they didn't understand the concept like uh by companies meaning uh how many of you seen um movies or war or whatever like that's the only uh you you see formations you see this guy came up with all those plans the like why why he sought the lord and the lord prospered him he received help from the lord now according to the number he fighting went to war in companies according to the number on their role. You see, he was so well, he was so well equipped, so uh good with his understanding and his wisdom. Look at this man. The total number of chief officers of the mighty men of valor was 2,600. And under their authority was an army of 37,000. What is that? 37,500 that made war with mighty power like this guy has become can you imagine a 16-year-old king took the throne all he did was sit under Zachchariah and then he sought the Lord he sought the Lord and the Lord prospered him keep going uh then Oziah prepared prepared for them for the entire army. Shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows, slings. And he he he made Israel so strong and he made devices in Jerusalem invented by skillful men to be on the towers and the corners to shoot arrows. Last his fame spread far and wide for he was marvelously helped. He was marvelously helped. But by who? He was marvelously helped unless you obtain help from the Lord. And then and then something strange happens. Go down dry down right to the very last verse. Now the rest of the acts of from first to last the prophet Isaiah wrote, "But Uzziah rested with his fathers. They buried him with his fathers in the field of which belonged to the kings. But but this is what they said about him. He or lies the leper. Huh? My God. And even and nobody knows about this guy. almost equal to what Solomon did. And in the end, he was only known as what? A leper. That's why we're going to learn this today. Wow. Are you with me? This will not be your portion. This will not be your portion. You will be known. Your later glory will be more glorious than what you think you're seeing right now. Your end will be much better than what you are seeing right now. This will not be your portion. And I will tell you why. I'll tell you why. See this guy, this king in the end became known as the leper who's lying here. All because he made one single mistake. Now I can I can take this chapter and spend the next half an hour talking to you about pride, but that's not what we want to do today because that's what it is. He made what? He made one. It it could be a grave mistake. It could be a type whatever. It's a mistake. This guy made one mistake and in the end done. That's it. No legacy, no nothing. Here lies the leper. Are you all okay? So now if you have to understand this, I have to help you understand God. Can we can we take a a few minutes to just get an understand God? How how do we understand God? How do we understand God? It's a very funny question. Who can understand God? But how do we get to know God? All right. We we we we get to know God by reading the the word. Okay. Uh the word beautifully explains. But then how much do you get to to to uh to know God through the word unless unless it has been revealed to you constantly. uh we get to know God through experiences and encounters like some of you go through uh life's experiences and then you get to know God or sometimes you you see the names of God in the Bible that some people gave him uh like like Jehovah Rafa, Jehovah Nissi or uh all these things and you and you get to understand God. But I think the best way that you and I can get to know God is if we look at the life of Jesus as a man in the flesh on earth. Are you with me? I think that's the best way to know God because because everything that's been said about God, if we don't see in in the person of Jesus, then probably someone said something wrong about God. If it be why why am I saying this? The Bible says Jesus was the express is the express image of the father. So if you if you if you see Jesus now if if for example the Bible says God is love and if you don't see it in in Jesus then something is wrong. Are you are you with me? you. So, so what's the best? How do I know God? How do I get to know God? Is through the life of Jesus in the flesh. Is is how God God is now. See, now think about this. Think about this. He Jesus comes. Jesus comes. He He reveals the father. He's he's there as the father. Reveals the father. He He reconciles man and God. And he's he's doing all these things. And when when you look deeply in in into his life, you you start seeing that everything that was said about everything that was said about God, now you can see in this man, right? So, so, so we we we we're talking about understanding God. We're talking about understanding God. There is this one thing that you will continuously see with Jesus, right? This is what he says. He he was one day walking and he he looked at the crowd of people and he and and it says and he says he had compassion. Somebody shout it shout it loud. He had compassion and he looked at them and said oh these guys are like sheep without a shepherd. That didn't come out of pity. He didn't look at he didn't look at man like oh pitiful creatures. No, it's it's written. How many of you How many of you read that word continuously with Jesus? When it comes to Jesus, you will notice this. He had compassion. He He saw them sitting and listening to him teach the entire day and he had compassion and wanted to feed them. He saw people come to him in need of healing. He had compassion and he healed them. What What will you read constantly? Compassion. Compassion. Compassion. What is compassion? What is compassion? Because your God is merciful. Mercy. Mercy. Able. When you're when when you're able to forgive and bless out of compassion, mercy in in other words, every action that springs out of compassion is mercy. That that's the dictionary meaning by the way. You can you can all go refer to your dictionaries. What is mercy? Mercy is is any act that comes out of compassion. So now so what do we then understand about God? That God is merciful. God is merciful. Me in other words God is so compassionate that he wants to forgive you and bless you. And that is why Paul says I obtained help. What is this help? I obtained mercy. I'm going to show you that. I'm going to show you that. Stay with me. Are you all okay? Can you be with me for a little more? Oh my god, my time is wrong. H We're talking about God. We're trying to understand God. I I'll show you something one day. Um Moses, right? This Moses is such an interesting character. in uh Exodus chapter 34. Look at this for a minute. Exodus chapter 34 and verse five and six. What does it say? Verse five and six. Are you with me? Are you okay? Are you all good? How's the energy? And um how's the joy? And how's the All right. All right, man. I I feel like I came out of pity or something. Now, now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there who Moses and the Lord proclaimed and proclaimed the name of the Lord. Okay. Now Moses now God God is going to proclaim his name. He's like do you do you know nobody uh knew God's name even today in the Jewish culture they don't mention then they don't they just can't right now now listen to this. Now God wants to now come and proclaim his name. Are you with me? Are you okay? The and the Lord passed before him and proclaimed. Now the Lord is proclaiming what? His name first the Lord then the Lord God then he proclaims his name. He's saying I am merciful. What is your name God? I am merciful. Wow. Who is who who is this God? Who is this God that you and I are after? What is his name? I am merciful. Are you with me? I am merciful. And that is why I think Karen Karen touched on um man. So here is God. Here a God. What is his name? What is his name? Merciful. And then there and then then there a man. you what in Genesis chapter 6, God says he has become all flesh. But that's not it. There's something else that I want to show you. Genesis, where is that? Where, darling? Genesis 6. Let's go to Genesis 6. Sorry. I think it's uh verse four or five. Um five. What does it say? Now go to verse five. Ah then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only was only not continually. Oh my God. And that's why I think in Jeremiah if I'm if I'm I hope I'm not wrong. Jeremiah it says the heart is more deceitful. He said Jeremiah where where is that? Uh the heart is more deceitful than anything that you can ever understand. Who is man? Now I I showed you God. He's merciful. This is God. God. And then here here we are so wicked every intent of the heart is not evil only evil continually. So you so you and I are only capable of mistakes. And if that is the case, then like Uzziah, I don't know what I will be known for in 50 years time. Wow. And that is why. Are you all okay? Okay, I'll finish. I'll finish. I'll finish soon. And that's why the that's why the book of lamentation I think uh I think uh Sanka sent me a a voice note the other day about David. I was also I was uh tripping on u Psalms 51 you know and and David says like we don't have to go there. He says, "I am a I'm a sinner." And then he says, and he talks about his trespasses. He the way he ex like it's almost like David saying, "Why the heck did I go onto the roof when it was time for battle? What was I doing on that terrace?" Like like that's what he's talking about himself. In in other words, what am I trying to say? I don't I don't even I don't even know if we are capable of not making mistakes. I don't know. Like probably there's someone out here who never makes any mistakes. Praise Jesus. Lay hands on me. I want that. I want that. But but I'm thinking I'm thinking I'm thinking is there anyone capable of not making mistakes? And can one mistake ruin my life forever? Is that how fragile all this is and that is and that's why I want you I want to take you to Ephesians chapter 2. Let's go to Ephesians chapter 2. Oh, praise you Jesus. Lamentations in in Lamentations it says it says the only reason why we are not consumed is because of his mercy. The only reason because because I am capable like right now I could have made a a a mistake doctrinally probably. Where is that mistake going to take me? like I am capable. Praise Jesus. Are you all okay? Then why the heck are you all looking at me like that? Probably you're listening to the word. Probably. Probably like with with all intent. And are we doing okay? Yeah. Ephesians chapter 2. Ephesians chapter 2. And come on now. Let's do this. This is this is the this is the exciting part. And you you that all flesh all deadened, he made alive. You were dead in your trespasses. This is who man is dead. So in trespasses and sin and e only evil continually. Man in which you once walked according to the course of this world. Why once? Because now you're going to understand. according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of oh my god all of that you can sit and learn and understand crazy things is all over the bible by the way all those lines okay now we're not going to go there among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind and we were by nature by nature who that the nature by nature you are naturally that you are naturally that but God who is rich in mercy but God this is if you if you understand if you understand here here is God his name is merciful and here is man naturally ally naturally wicked only evil and they and and the and the both of them this is this is how I see it when I when I when I read it it's like it was finally time for these two to come and mercy won God so rich in mercy because of his great love with which he loved her even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved. Somebody say amen. But God so rich in mercy. This this you, you and I, you and I. Now, you and I, you and I naturally capable of making terrible mistakes can now make one and understand and understand that I have obtained something. Let me show you this verse. Let me Are you all okay? Oh my God. 1 Peter 2. Let's go to 1 Peter 2 9 and 10. You all know this verse, but let's look at it again. You are a who? Come on now. You need to do this with me. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy his own. What? What? Watch, watch, watch, watch. That you may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Who once were not a people, but are now the people. You were once nothing but you are now the people of God. Who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. You have now obtained mercy. Unless I obtain Unless I obtain help from the Lord. You were once you were once not a people naturally the most terrible things, no intent, nothing you. But he called you, he chose you, he gave you royalty. He made you his own. And he's telling you today, don't worry. Now you have obtained mercy. And that is exactly why my end will be beautiful. That is exactly why my end will be beautiful. Then my now my present, the glory that I'm experiencing now is nothing compared to the glory that I'm going to experience in my latter days. Not because of me. I am so capable of the worst things possible. But I have obtained mercy. I have obtained mercy. You have obtained mercy. Praise Jesus. Are you all okay? I have obtained mercy. And now and now you you you understand when you read Ephesians chapter 2, you you you understand that now you are seated in the by who? Your your spirit the spirit man. Yeah. But but you are still here. You are still here. You you understand the up up down you you understand all these things very well. But that is why here you need these things. You need it. You need it. When it's it's written about it's it's written about Adam. It's written about Adam that he made a mistake and he went and hid. It's it's written about it's it's written about um u you you keep going. is written about um Cain and Abel. What they they made a he made a mistake. It was a murder. Made a mistake. They all made mistakes. Moses Moses, what did he do, man? What did he do? Instead of instead of speaking to a rock, he went and hit the rock. Huh? But that is not what you and I will experience because in Hebrews, what's the time in Hebrews? In Hebrews it says in um uh 4:16 like 3:16 4:16 4:16 Hebrews 4:16 that's another very important verse to always have in your head. It says, it says now, now for we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness. Somebody say amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Terribly weak. Man, sometimes sometimes the way my heart thinks disgusts me. Sometimes the things that I go and do, I sit and wonder why do you do these things? But you have a high priest who sympathizes with our weakness because his name is merciful. His name is merciful. And that is why he says but it talks about him he was tempted in all in all points tempted as we are yet without as much as he sympathizes he's also telling us hey no there is a way You can do it. You can do it. It's not like go and do whatever. Saying he was tempted and yet without. And then he says, let us therefore come boldly to his throne to for what? That we may obtain. Don't forget that word that we may obtain mercy. He's saying he's saying now now when you tomorrow you catch yourself and you're like oh my god whatever he say get up and run and obtain what because it is freely available for you. You were once not a people. You once did not have mercy but he's made you his own. You are a chosen generation and you have obtained mercy. But now, now in your weakness, in your weakness, now don't run away. Don't go and hide. Don't say, "No, I can't come to church anymore." And stop with all those excuses and go running to his throne and obtain mercy. Obtain mercy. Wake up. No shame, no condemnation and keep moving forward because you have met with a God who is named merciful. Are you okay? Come every every opportunity you will have pastors I'm sure today waiting to pray for you. Go running. And that's that's your that's how you do it. What do you mean throne of grace? Like which which throne are you going to run to come come and when every time you come come broken contrite heart I don't want to go there today. Broken contrite heart. God loves a broken contrite heart. You come running to one of them and you and you and you go pray for me. This is this is me. This is I feel like this is me naturally me. And when you're getting prayed, you obtain mercy. You obtain mercy. You're like fully clean. Fully clean. Are you all okay? Are you with me? You see, I couldn't have just preached grace for good works and not have showed you this. Now you know. Now you know how it works. But unless you obtain help from the Lord, you will not be able to. This is Paul saying I obtained help and because of that now I can continue. I can stand. Amen. Let's look at this one verse. One verse and then let's just sing that song again. Now you know why the reason I live is to worship you. this by I have finally found a high priest who can sympathize with me. Lamentation this verse I if you're a Christian you should know this by heart but I want to show this to you again 3:22 I can show you a lot of verses but then you might think twice to come and sit when I teach the next time. So going to keep it try and keep it short is what I always try but what do I do I have to show you verses what did I say that's the one though through the Lord's are you with me because of the Lord's mercies we are not consumed somebody shout amen or whatever you like to shout Amen. I like amen. Though through the Lord's mercies, we are not because his compassion. Can I give you some good news? If so, if if if so far it wasn't good enough. His compassion will never fail. He might run out of many things which which is impossible. He will never run out of anything. But specifically when it comes to mercy, it says God so rich in mercy that his compassion fails not. And here's the thing. Here's the thing. They are new every morning. That means that means tomorrow when you wake up, it's a new slate. It's a clean slate. New things can be written. New things can be done. New things can be achieved. And and if if on that day again you fail, you wake up the next day and you have another clean slate to write on. Hallelujah. And God forbid you make another mistake, you can wake up the next day and have a new slate to write on. Oh my god, I can't stop making these mistakes. It's okay. Every single day of your life, you're going to get a new slate for you to write on. And somewhere down that line, I am sure you'll make it. But till then, you have his mercy. Great is your faithfulness. Great is your faithfulness. Great is your faithfulness. [Music] Oh, and this is exactly why. This is exactly why you are going to do so well in life. This is why you're going to prosper. This is why you're going to do the most amazing things. No matter how young, old you are, this is exactly how and why. And it will just continue. It will just continue because you wake up every day and you get a new slate. You wake up every morning and you get a new slate. I worship [Music] you. I worship you. The reason I live is to worship you. I worship [Music] you. I worship you. The reason I live is to worship you. When I look into your holiness, when I look into your holiness, when I gaze into your loveliness, When all things that surround become shadows in the light of you. Wow. When I found the joy of reaching your heart. When my will becomes enthroned in your love. When all things that surround become shadows in the light of you, will you lift your voices and sing? I worship you. I worship you. The reason I live is to worship [Music] you. I worship [Music] you. I worship you. The reason I live is to worship you, Jesus. Somebody shout, shout it out. I bless you that you will always prosper. that everything you do with your hands will prosper. That you will always be head and not the tail, always above and never beneath. That you will always lend to nations and never borrow. Everything you do with your hands will prosper. You will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, giving fruit in every season. Your leaves will not wither. Everything you do will prosper. Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life and you will be rooted and established in the presence and the glory of the Lord forever. Amen. [Music]
