million behind dinosaur the film spent a total of 10 weeks and in the top 10 at the box office and was in theaters for over a year finishing its thetical run on May 10 2011 its total grow in the United States and Canada was $87 million it opened on May uh 12 2000 in the UK and grow 3.5 million uh in its opening weekend and spent s weeks at number one it crossed over $43 million in UK it also the number one in Italy for several week and for five weeks uh in the France as well friends uh this movie Gladiator uh finished is its thical run on May 10 2001 and uh it's crosses in United States and Canada was 87 million and it's uh it opened on May 12 2000 in UK and it did very well in UK and France as well outside US and Canada Gladiator grossed $272 million for a worldwide grow of $460 million against the budget of $130 million it was the second highest Crossing film of 2000 behind Mission Impossible which collect 546 million so in my view this movie is great in 2020 it's a very interesting fact fact that gladiator was re-released in Australia and the Netherlands as well to uh commemorate its 20th anniversary this limited release grossed 4.8 million the following year it was a re-released in the United Kingdom earning a gross of 16,000 only which is not bad because this movie was re-released and it collect again the great great Revenue in my view
