can you tell me again what interests you about this job well first of all thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to come along for a second interview with your company there's several things that really interest me about this job first of all the skills the qualities and the experience i have are a strong match for the job description so i am confident i can come into the role and make a fast and immediate impact now the second thing that interests me about this job is the fact that it is with your company you are forward thinking you are innovative and you always take calculated risks to grow i genuinely want to build a long-term career here finally i want to be pushed and challenged in my work i want to collaborate with other positive people and also have a wide remit of responsibilities and this job will give me all of those things okay next question describe yourself in one sentence i would describe myself as commercially focused knowledgeable in this industry industrious and also someone who will give you a positive return on your investment if you choose to hire me okay next question what strengths can you bring to the role the strengths i can bring to the role include strong communication skills a good level of business acumen a positive attitude about change and also a willingness to take on duties that are outside of my job description so my strong communication skills mean i will always be a positive role model for your company whilst dealing with customers and clients my good levels of business acumen mean i will add value in the role by helping you to increase sales and also by working hard to help you save money too whenever you want to drive through change i will always support it and help you to implement it and finally because i am a flexible worker i will take on duties that are outside of my job description to help your business whenever needed thank you richard what is your biggest weakness i would say my greatest weakness is the fact i find it quite hard asking other people for help i tend to try and figure things out for myself instead of asking the people in my team for guidance which would be a faster way of working having said that i am seeking to improve on my weakness and i am trying to be more mindful in situations like this whenever they occur okay next question richard what type of work environment do you prefer the type of working environment i prefer is one that is positive where everyone in the team has a can-do attitude and where i have clearly defined tasks and goals i must achieve i also prefer a diverse working environment because i believe that brings different views and ideas and it also helps to enhance the standard of customer service offered by the company richard can you tell me what makes you stand out from the other candidates one of the things that makes me stand out from the other candidates is the fact i always go above and beyond what is expected at work so i will go out of my way to make a customer's experience a memorable one so they become long-term advocates of the business i will go out of my way to do extra hours when my employer needs me to at short notice i will go out of my way to support my co-workers in the execution of their duties and finally i will always go out of my way to help my employer train up newer members of staff as and when they join the company tell me what would you do if you didn't get on with somebody in our team if i felt i wasn't getting on with someone in your team i would first of all assess my own actions to make sure i wasn't contributing to the problem because if i get to join your company i feel i would have a responsibility to try and fit into your team and also add value to it i would also go out of my way to work closely with the co-worker on a task or a project in an attempt to build a better connection with them and ultimately improve the working relationship what do you think our company should be doing better i think it's important to first of all say i think your company is doing so many things really well you provide outstanding service which is the bedrock of any successful organization you push the boundaries of innovation with your products and services and you clearly seek feedback from other people to improve now whilst researching your company i noticed you had several products that aren't being promoted on social media now i have some experience in social media advertising and i believe i can help you increase sales by targeting new customers based on age gender and demographics what's the first thing you'll do in the role if we hire you the first thing i will do in the role if you hire me is to get a full brief from my manager on what's expected of me including targets objectives and time frames i will then introduce myself to the team and set to work helping them achieve the team's objectives i will also then look to do something of significance within the first 30 days of starting work here to show you what i am capable of doing so as i mentioned earlier i believe there are some exciting opportunities to promote your products and services
