Installation Instructions

• Requirements:
  • A graphic card, FFMPEG, ComKey, Visual Studio, and Python 3.10.
• Download Procedure:
  1. Click on the link in the description to download the main zip file.
  2. Extract the zip file to the desired installation location.
  3. Open command prompt in the main extracted folder (type cmd in the folder path).
• Python Setup:
  • Create a virtual environment (venv) using Python 3.10.
  • Activate the venv.
• PyTorch Installation:
  1. Go to PyTorch's main page and copy the CUDA code (NVIDIA graphic card required).
  2. Paste the code in the command window, remove the '3' in front of 'pip', and hit enter.
  3. After installing PyTorch, open the requirements.txt file.
  4. Remove PyTorch and Torch links; if using NVIDIA, remove TensorFlow line 2.
  5. Save changes and run the requirements code in command window.
• Model Downloads:
  • Download models from provided links and place them in the models folder of the main directory.
  • Create a new folder named 'landmarks' and put landmark models inside.
• Launching the Tool:
  • Open rope.bat file, change necessary settings, and save.
  • Launch Rope Pearl 00 by clicking on rope.bat.

Usage Instructions

• Folder Structure:
  • Create three folders in the main directory: face, target, and result.
  • Place face pictures in the face folder and pictures/videos in target folder.
• Face Swapping Process:
  • Select Target Folder and Face Folder in the app.
  • For pictures: Choose the picture option, select a target picture, and the face to swap with.
  • For videos: Choose the video option and select the face to swap.
  • Webcam option: Select the webcam, click play, and find the face to swap.
• Video Calling Setup:
  • Turn on the virtual cam option.
  • Install OBS Studio and set it up as a virtual webcam.
