iCare 2100 Portable Multifunction Analyzer

Overview

  • Multifunction analyzer with preloaded reagent cartridge.
  • 16 types of reagent cartridges: Can detect 37 types of biochemical, specific protein, and coagulation indicators.
  • Design features:
    • 9.7-inch touchscreen.
    • Top-mounted thermal printer.
    • Dual-channel testing capability (simultaneous testing).

Indicator Lights and Channel Lid

  • Indicator lights:
    • Green (steady): Idle/standby.
    • Green (flashing): Test in progress.
    • Yellow (steady): Instrument not ready.
    • Red (steady): Instrument faulty.
  • Channel lid: System-controlled; do not open manually.

Hardware Details

  • Nameplate: Located at the back; includes manufacturer info, production date, etc.
  • Ports below nameplate (left to right): Power, USB, Ethernet, serial, extensible port, and push button.
  • Halogen lamp replacement: Accessible by removing two screws above the nameplate.

Reagent Kit Components

  • Includes Reagent Cartridge, Quality Control Materials, Disposable Tips, and Package Insert.
  • Reagent Cartridge markings: Reagent Name, Batch Number, Production, and Expiration Date.
  • QR code: Scans for Reagent Item, Batch Information, and Calibration Equation.

Operation Introduction

  1. Power connection and startup:
    • Connect power port and press push button.
    • Wait 5-10 minutes for temperature stabilization.
  2. Sample types: Serum, plasma, whole blood, urine.
  3. Interface:
    • Options: Test, QC, Search, Settings.
    • Real-time temperature display for both channels.

Test Procedures

  • Standard Test:
    • Enter test menu, fill sample info, place reagent cartridge.
    • Use pipette to add sample, start detection.
    • Post-test: View results and print.
  • HBA1C Test:
    • Whole blood sample collection; insert into HbA1c reagent cartridge.
  • ACR Test:
    • Urine sample used like serum.
  • Coagulation Test:
    • Plasma sample with specified volume.

Quality Control (QC)

  • QC Menu: Displays QC test ID, item, level, etc.
  • Two types of QC materials:
    • Preconfigured and reconstitution-required.
  • Operation: Add to reagent cartridge as per tests.

Results and Settings

  • Results Query: Search by various parameters, print/upload results.
  • QC Query: Includes QC trend chart.
  • Settings Menu:
    • System settings: Modify test site, system time, etc.
    • Print settings: Customize printed content.
    • Communication settings: Data upload, connectivity options.
    • Maintenance settings: Perform function tests, calibrations.

Maintenance

  • Post-test disposal: Follow lab regulations.
  • Cleaning: Weekly wipe with ethanol; screen cleaning with dry cloth.
