Guys, this is becoming an annual tradition and I'm super excited because I'm back with another episode of Tested by Shivesh where I'm going to test all those food products that have come on Shark Tank India Season 3. Open this. Why are you opening this? What's happening? Hello sharks! Hello!
I'm very excited to try them out and share my first impressions with you. Let's get started. What's in it? In this? What's in it?
What's in the food today? I'm feeling thirsty, can I have some pizza? I was craving for pizza guys, that's why I am now tasting Pizza Galleria Apparently, they sell pizzas for 5-6 lakhs in a month which I think is crazy and apparently, they have sold Domino's which has also been overtaken. What? Rs. 4-5 lakhs per month?
So, I'm very excited to try this. Their signature pizza is Bahubali Pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn't being delivered here.
So, I've gotten the Tandoori Paneer Pizza which I'm very excited about. To be honest, the packaging looks very average. I mean, looking at their font selection, They have added an absorption of fonts on one of these.
6-7 fonts have been used on one box. I am feeling uneasy about this. So, we will ignore this and move forward. And let's taste the pizza.
It feels like they have just made boxes. I ordered Domino's and just put it inside because this is looking exactly like a Domino's pizza. And when I was looking at the menu, I was getting a lot of flashbacks of Domino's because farmhouse, the name is the same, the fact that they have Chocolava and all of that.
So, there were a lot of similarities. But I didn't expect that the pizza will look exactly the same. And it looks very very good. Let's dig in. So guys, this is a pizza for Rs. 400. And one thing that I would like to point out is that on an average, every slice has 1.5 pieces of paneer.
Because this slice that I have here only has 1 cube of paneer. Which is very less for a tandoori paneer pizza. Or paneer tikka pizza, whatever it is. But because it's a paneer pizza, it's quite less.
And let's taste it. Mouth is watering. Mm-hmm.
Mm. Tandoori flavour is on point. Tandoori paneer pizza is very good. The mayo they've put on the cheese, I don't know how I feel about it. It's a very desi street pizza kind of a...
situation. Kaafi yum hai. Topping sori kam hai. But I don't mind it.
I'm gonna rate it an 8 out of 10. But to be honest, personally, I will stick to ordering my Domino's. So guys, after tasting the pizza with six other people from my team, I have realised that maybe 8 is a bit much and I should probably rate it a 6 out of 10 because the toppings are less and it's feeling quite average especially given that there are so many better homegrown brands in Delhi which are making better pizzas. So my final rating is going to be 6 out of 10. So I haven't seen this episode but everywhere on the internet I think this season, the pitch of Cinnamon Kitchen has gone viral.
Uniquest pitch ever in Shark Tank. And I remember my interaction first with the brand happened in 2020, not on a very pleasant note because they had used a picture which I had shot on their social media to promote their products. But I remember when I messaged them to take the picture down, they were very prompt and apologetic about it and now I absolutely love everything that they are doing.
In terms of products, I have here today their very popular O Fudge and I also have their Flawless Cookies. And as their sales have shot up this year Last year it was 82 lakhs. It's magic Anupam, it's magic.
Hahaha Let's see if my sweet cravings shoot up or not. So, this vegan gluten-free and grain-free fudge MRP is Rs. 70. The packaging is quite cute. It looks okay. Now, let's do the taste test. mmm really exceptional thank you so much I like the crunch of the hazelnut praline and the taste is actually very very nice two thousand years later I like the fudgy mouth I love the feel and honestly, I don't like healthy desserts very much.
I'm very picky when it comes to that. But this is actually quite nice. It doesn't taste sweet, it's adequately sweet. So I personally really like this. Now let's try the flourless cookies.
Okay, so now the cookie, it looks very rustic. I love the generous amount of chocolate on top. I honestly didn't like the packaging that much and I feel that both the products have a big disconnect in the packaging in terms of the colours because its colour scheme is very different.
So, I feel like that cohesive brand colour is missing a bit. Let's try this out. It smells incredible by the way. Yum! Honestly again, very very picky when it comes to cookies.
This is obviously very different from your classic chocolate chip cookies. But it's very yummy. I would like to say to this cookie that I really, really like you. I like you too.
I feel that I don't have that much expertise in healthy desserts. But I would still like to rate this 10 out of 10 because I liked both the products a lot. And I don't know how much I'll consume personally but for anybody who's into healthy desserts and healthy snacking this definitely could really be satisfying your sweet cravings. I am now testing this sushi kit from Chef Ling. Honestly, I feel like I'm not very into this kit's culture.
And I feel like a lot of brands in the past have tried doing it by curating ingredients. And it hasn't always done well. But I find it a little promising. The design and packaging looks very nice. Who did the branding?
It's so beautiful. And I was looking at their website and the dishes they have selected are very smart. There's sushi, there's lasagna, there's Korean ramen.
So, these are all the things for which you need a lot of ingredients. And it's very difficult to source these ingredients because you have to buy something from somewhere. And it's not always easily available. So, to get everything like this in a Q2 box, I feel like it really helps.
So, there's sushi mat, there's mayo. Sesame seeds, vinegar, sushi rice, soy sauce, ginger, everything is there. Just one thing that was written on the packaging that wasabi is also there in the kit.
It didn't come in my kit. So, we will do without that today. Nori sheet is also there. So, I am quite vibing with it so far.
Tempura batter is also given in which we have already coated and fried the vegetables. Let's get the sushi rolling started. Guys, it would have been a fun group activity to do.
Like everyone is assembling a sushi roll, but there's only one sushi mat. So, we're having fun here. Tempura vegetables are also ready. Let's arrange them. There's a bit of confusion here guys because the packaging has different instructions written on it and there's a sheet of instructions written on it like it says that sesame seeds have to be sprinkled on rice and it says that after cutting the sesame seeds, they have to be sprinkled on top but there's no mayo in the instructions so we are a little confused now this DIY is not giving the correct instructions First time making sushi from scratch.
Not really, but... It's quite brilliant if I may say so myself. It's done quite nicely and quite easily.
Let's cut this. Guys, we were so happy earlier that we found out while cutting that we have added too much rice to our emotions. But, let's taste it and find out.
Ready? Okay, go. Okay, okay, now...
If we had just eaten mushy rice, we would have eaten tempura separately. We have added too much rice. Guys, let me tell you.
These fried vegetables are way better. This is yum. And if you prepare rice and vegetables... The portion was good, it would have been nice.
It's absolutely fine. But this was a lot of fun and we are going to rate this a 7 on 10. A 7 on 10 because they cut it by one mark because they don't have any dessert kits. And I feel like that's really required. And of course the missing ingredient or the instructions were off because of that.
But this was actually a lot of fun. So full disclaimer, I have worked with Bartassons before and I personally really like whatever I have tried. I think I tried their mango chilli something which was yum. And just like the look and feel and the vibe is... Super premium.
I think I have to say this. That out of all the products that I have tried at Shark Tank this time, this has to be the most well thought of branding, packaging, and look and feel. Like I am genuinely a fan of how this all feels and... The branding is super good.
Solid branding. Good product. This time it's not sponsored.
So whatever I say, I will say the truth. I will not say anything other than the truth. I am going to try their Jamun Cumin Himalayan Black Pink Salt.
cocktail mixer today with 60 ml of Bombay Sapphire Gin. So basically the concept of the brand is that it will be easy for you to make cocktails at home because you don't have to look for multiple different ingredients. Everything is bottled by them in the right proportions and ratios and all I need to do is to put three lids full of this cocktail mixer into my gin.
Quite yummy. Honestly, the first flavours I tried, they were better. This is not totally my vibe.
But I like how it's got a little bit of spice going on and it's got the fruity jamun flavour. And just the fact that without multiple ingredients with just my alcohol and this mixer, I can make a drink like this at home. Mocktails. This is very good.
So I think it's perfect for those who host at home or people who are passionate about cocktails. I think this is actually a great fix. I'll rate this particular flavor seven on 10, but otherwise overall, I'm gonna rate the entire brand a nine on 10. So I have these honey twigs'mess free honey here which looks very very interesting. I had no idea that there is such a concept that people buy honey in such a premium packaging and eat it straight out of the sachet. But it's pretty interesting.
Let's see, I'm not the biggest honey fan. I mean, I don't have any obsession. And I didn't think that I would ever be interested to just eat honey straight out of the packaging.
But let's try. Very premium feel and vibe. Even this plastic thing honestly doesn't feel cheap.
It's very, very nice. And this packaging is also designed very nicely. Tear, squeeze and eat. Let's see. I mean it is lemon infused honey.
What more can I say about it? I mean honestly, I can taste the plastic as well. To be honest.
Very good. The packaging is very good. The packaging is very nice. And this is the first time I've tasted honey.
It is just lemon infused honey guys. I mean, looks quite fancy and premium but personally for me, it doesn't work for me. I don't consume honey regularly. This is great for a portable situation that if you travel... then take it and you can tear it and empty it into your tea or whatever or hot water.
Personally for me, I didn't find it exciting or anything that I would use. Taste is obviously fine, nothing bad, nothing great. If you consume honey and if you want to travel everywhere with your honey, this could be great.
I would let you guys rate it in the comments. For me, I'm quite neutral about this product to be honest. As always, I had too much fun testing out the Shark Tank products.
But guys, there's also a part 2 which will come next week. So, stay tuned and make sure you come back for that.
