Exploring Madagascar: A Scenic Adventure

Behind me is the Avenue of the Baobabs, known as one of the must-visit places in Madagascar, with its gigantic trees However, the journey to get here was filled with many challenges and difficulties Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate During this 2-day trip, I was blessed with beautiful scenery, great weather, and friendly people But occasionally, I did have some encounters with the police, and of course, their intentions were not good I wasn't traveling alone, though, as we had a new friend join us on this journey Everything went perfectly This vast savanna was once home to the largest flightless bird in the world, which was several times bigger than an ostrich Oh Gosh Ah, this is its inside It's again She is roasting coffee in a pot This journey was very long, with 700 km over 2 days and 1 night Hope you will stay here with me and follow this journey till the end The journey ends with the most beautiful sunset in Madagascar that I've ever seen Don't miss it!! Hope everyone enjoys watching this video with Khoai Lang Thang I'm in a taxi on my way back to the first house I stayed at in Madagascar Because I prefer the atmosphere there more than in the city center The taxi driver has a young boy with him, acting as his assistant to help find parking spots and look for passengers The sidewalks and streets are starting to look familiar The memories of my first days in Madagascar have come flooding back Say bye to the taxi driver Now, we're heading back to the homestay with all this luggage I'll be staying here for 2-3 days to rest and prepare for an upcoming special journey We meet our familiar little friend again Hello, why are you hiding, lil paw? I've been staying here for almost 10 days, yet that dog still keeps barking at me Entering back to this homestay, I feel like I've just returned to my true home What a comfortable feeling! During the next 2-3 days of rest, I will definitely eat crab every single day Hello, fish! Do you remember me? Not only do I eat crab every day, but I also go to the familiar restaurant I often ate in previous episodes To eat traditional Madagascar dishes To make up for the hungry days I experienced during the Independence holidays in the city center When no one sold any food The night before checking out of the homestay, I meet these special people I invite them over to the homestay to plan for the upcoming road trip together I'm signing a contract with them They will let me rent a car for about 2 weeks so I can travel everywhere in Madagascar But as you might have heard earlier, they mentioned that the route I planned to take It is currently experiencing some attacks targeting tourists Last week there were 3 attacks, and among them was one where the tourist did not survive So, I have to change my plans and travel with a local driver to ensure my safety We do not dare to drive by ourselves during this period I'm gonna say goodbye to this homestay today Turn around The local driver has been waiting for us at the gas station for a while We're heading there now The night before last, we had not met the driver yet We just met his company This one? Here, this is our car Su is knocking on the car door Hello I like this cake the most We're passing through the familiar market I'm checking to see if there are any crab vendors here There are 4 crab vendors here today Wow But we don't buy crab today We are heading straight towards the coastal baobab trees The countryside of Madagascar is more peaceful than I thought As you can see, small villages are located between the valleys and on hillsides Each village allocates the most beautiful spot for the church The architecture of the churches here is so beautiful Now, I will share more about our journey today My plan is to go to the Avenue of the Baobabs This is the island nation of Madagascar And I'm currently in the capital city, Antananarivo From Antananarivo, we will head south, with our first stop being the city of Antsirabe Antsirabe is a small city We will have a delicious lunch there at the crossroads After that, we will turn right heading west to the smaller town, Miandrivazo, where we will spend the night The next morning, we will head south and then west to reach Morondava This is the place with the famous Avenue of the Baobabs I'll be staying in Morondava for a few days Here, you'll be able to see the baobab trees in the sunset This is what I'm most looking forward to when coming to Madagascar If we go straight through, it takes about 690 km Because the average speed in Madagascar is around 20-40 km/h, depending on road conditions So it takes nearly 20 hours to drive about 700 km Sounds really exhausting So that's why I have to split the driving time into 2 days We will drive over 400 km on the first day Along the way, every few dozen meters, I've seen many policemen and soldiers I think it's because the security situation is not reliable, so they have to stand regularly on the highway I see people sell a lot of drums in this area According to my prediction, the drumheads are made from zebu's skin Because people farm a lot of cattle in this area Along the highway, you will always see groups of 5-20 people waiting here like this As I've noticed, they usually wait like that to receive goods being transported by buses or they wait to take the bus Due to poverty, the locals here only have bicycles Whoever has a motorbike must be very rich Having a bicycle is already considered quite well-off Most people choose to walk If they go further, they will take the bus The buses here are very crowded because they cram people inside, and the luggage is tied up on top Some trains are still in service But I don't recommend you book train tickets Because trains often get canceled and don't depart on time After about 5 hours of driving, it's now early afternoon, and we're quite hungry We've just arrived in Antsirabe city Antsirabe is a cute, small city with cool and pleasant weather This city's name is Antsirabe You can see this city's name here This city is small with flat roads and doesn't have many hills like in Antananarivo A lot of cyclo rickshaws I see them riding rickshaws constantly On the right side, there are about 3-4 rickshaw drivers parked, waiting for passengers Do you know what this is? My barf bag I got carsick and threw up 3 times on the car Loquat here is so big This one is so big These are enough Thank you It seems like they use a generator, so it's noisy Hello The food here is cheap, about 5,000-15,000 MGA per dish This dish costs 30,000 MGA I'd like to eat steak It's just about 17,000 MGA Thank you This is soursop juice When traveling here, you can notice those jars The black jar is tamarind juice The white jar is soursop juice Sometimes you can also see the yellow one, which is salted lemon juice So if you see a shop displaying those jars, it means they sell those traditional drinks Wow So tempting It also has lettuce and tomatoes I don't know what the driver ordered, but his dish still hasn't been served We will wait for his dish to be served and then we will eat together That's the name of this dish in Malagasy His dish looks so delectable Chicken with stir-fried vegetables I'll cut a piece of the steak to try It's thin like the grilled ribs in the broken rice dish from Saigon Its texture is soft With just one stroke of the knife, it is cut right through Oh, there is still a small tendon that's a bit tough The steak is covered with a thin layer of flour It was marinated quite salty It must be eaten with salad I can feel the burnt taste of it His dish looks so delectable [Khoai]: We should have ordered different dishes earlier [Su]: Right Why isn't it cut? The table is shaking There's still a tendon, this knife can't cut it through Overall, this dish is average If I came here again, I would order the same dish as the driver A chicken thigh and stir-fried vegetables look so appetizing Our meal today costs 68,000 MGA in total I feel so comfortable when leaving the restaurant Because the generator in that restaurant drives me crazy Arriving in Antsirabe means I've traveled halfway through today's journey We've been driving continuously for 9-10 hours today We planned to rent a car and drive ourselves After hearing about 3 consecutive attacks on tourists within a week And one tourist was passed away I decided to go with a local driver who could help us with driving Also communication, and ensuring our safety during the trip The first distinctive feature I noticed when I arrived in this city was the abundance of cyclo rickshaws and pulled rickshaws on the streets The locals use this as a common means of transportation in the city I think this is because the terrain here is flatter than Antananarivo In Antananarivo, they mainly use taxi and bus The scene of crowded cyclo rickshaws here looks quite lively In the video, it looks sunny; but actually, it's quite cool here In this season, the weather in Madagascar is under 20 degrees Celcius It makes me feel very comfortable and pleasant When I pass by the hills with very few houses around and sparse population I still see many people walking along the sides of the road People carrying each other on bicycles up the hills look so cute How can they have enough strength to bike across the hills? It reminds me of the song "Xe Dap Oi" From the beginning of the video until now, if you've noticed, although I've been riding for 7-8 hours The terrain outside is still mostly the same without much change There are still bare hills with few large trees, mainly low shrubs and grass Because the western coast of Madagascar receives little rain, it is not suitable for plant growth There are just a few small streams where farmers can only grow rice or vegetables in such areas The car suddenly stops while we're driving I've been carsick so we have to stop here to throw up I've just kept vomiting continuously in this car You may see in the video that it seems gentle, but actually, I was continuously vomiting throughout the journey The motion sickness patch did not have any effect either I was carsick and vomited continuously for 8-9 hours because of the bad road and the reckless driver Let'ss consider today as a day for practicing how to cope with carsickness After this time, I will graduate and receive a "carsickness" certificate After I threw up about 7-8 times, as I counted, the day finally came to an end The sun is beginning to set The sunset light is starting to shine through the grasses Wow I use my drone when passing through a village The kids are really excited about the drone I'm gonna catch the sunset in Madagascar with my drone Let's enjoy it with me, everyone! I feel like we're chasing the sun right now The sun is setting behind that mountain range And our car keeps driving toward the sun The road is still very long There's still 3 more hours until we reach a town where we can spend the night On both sides of the road, there are many small villages, but none of them have a homestay or hotel We have to pass through all these villages to reach a town behind the massive mountain range in the distance By the time we get there, it will probably be 8 or 9 PM That's quite late here, and it's also very dangerous We shouldn't travel any later So we need to hurry to not get there too late Coming to the rural areas in Madagascar reminds me of my hometown back to over 20 years ago At that time, in the rural areas of southwest Vietnam The electricity was unstable and there were frequent power outages So, in the evenings, the whole neighborhood would often be in darkness and we had to light oil lamps The locals would usually entertain themselves by gathering and chatting with each other The scene of rural areas in Madagascar makes me miss my hometown a lot After passing through the mountain range, we still have another challenge The bumpy roads We can only drive at 10-15km/h I'm extremely tired now We've been driving for over 10 hours We still haven't reached our hotel Don't know where we will be staying tonight because the nearest town is still up ahead We will get there, find a hotel, and ask about the room price We need to ask the reception about the price You please come to ask Su is going to ask about the room price Because we didn't make a reservation This whole area is very deserted because it's only 8 PM and everyone has already gone to bed Only this room type is available There are only 5 hotels in this town So, we don't have much choices [Su]: OMG Our room is on the 3rd floor These staff help us carry our luggage Don't know how we can carry our luggage with our current strength Thank you I'll have dinner here Let's sit there to have a good light There are 20' left before the restaurant closes, so I'll quickly order something to eat One menu is pasta Another one is steak and fish The sauce, decorated in such intricate patterns, looks so elaborate A plus point for this decoration Hopefully, it will be delicious and different from the steak we had at lunch Here, it seems they rarely use sauce for steak, they marinate spice directly in the meat It's medium but a bit cooked No problem! It's super tough It's ''perfectly'' being tough in an "excellent" way I've been chewing it over 10 times But this piece of meat is still intact in my mouth No problem! I'll try to chew more, and the meat will gradually break down The more I chew, the sweeter the meat will taste Feels like I'm eating beef jerky They didn't remove this piece of tendon This steak still has the tendon intact It makes this steak so tough This tendon is usually used to make beef stew and needs to be cooked for a long time to become tender So I'm cutting it out This is the culprit that makes the steak tough I already removed it I've been trying to chew this piece of meat for so long I chewed so hard that my jaw almost dislocated, but it still didn't break I didn't dare to swallow because I was afraid of choking Already swallowed It's so hard At this night time, I'm just really happy to have a meal like that We also have stir-fried vegetables here [Tomorrow morning] Can you hear the generator operating over there? It's now a little past 8 in the morning, and I'm having breakfast here Porridge with meatballs It's similar to Vietnamese porridge, with a bit of minced meat and spring onions Minced beef It has a faint ginger aroma that warms up my stomach So good! I'm tired, but I feel much better after eating this porridge It's almost the same as the Vietnamese taste Beef meatballs with spring onions and pepper They're served with porridge To me, this breakfast is even better than the steak dinner last night I need some water to take the effervescent tablet When I feel overheated, I usually drink this to cool down I brought it along with me from Vietnam Oh, it has a melon smell I don't know what fate will bring me today It must have been 7-8 years since a driver made me feel this carsick This glass is used for wine, but I used it for an effervescent tablet Hello The kids are standing in front of me We're putting our luggage in the car and continuing the journey The bread I bought yesterday has worked to its potential today I'll give it to the kids The further we go towards the coast, the more I see how difficult life is for the locals here They don't even have bicycles, they mainly walk This area is close to rivers and streams, so you can see these guys carrying yellow water cans on their shoulders This is the water they use for their daily activities In the city, there are centralized water towers, but nothing here The locals have to fetch water themselves from wells, streams, and rivers for their daily needs And of course, today we also cannot avoid carsickness Su is also putting on a motion sickness patch We both get carsick While we are driving, the policeman suddenly stops our car He talks to the driver for a long time and also checks the car I'm a bit worried because I don't know if something happened They're checking our luggage They're checking our luggage and documents I've noticed that they are also carrying their long rifles It might be because the security in this area isn't good, which is why they have to carry out these checks Or it could be because smuggling often occurs on this route Over there, a tourist in front of us also has to show his document I see him carrying money; I wonder if he has to pay a fine or something Our driver also turns off the engine When he did this action, I understood why the police stopped our car Now we will drive straight for about 3 more hours to reach the Baobab Avenue While driving on this route, the area in front of us is so flat and large The scenery looks very much like the savannah fields in Africa The only difference is that there aren't many wild animals here Has anyone seen the animated movie Madagascar? That animated movie has lion, giraffe, zebra,.. I think anyone who has watched that movie would assume Madagascar is full of those kinds of animals But no! Those are not the native animals of Madagascar So, they do not live in the natural grasslands Even if you drive for hours, you won't encounter them here But Madagascar does have a lot of unique plant and animal species For example, lemurs and chameleons I'll be going to the National Park to visit them Speaking of native animals in Madagascar I read that there was once a giant bird on the island nation weighing up to 600-700kg It is called the largest flightless bird in the world Unfortunately, they became extinct 1000 years ago When comparing them to ostriches and humans in pictures, they are truly on a whole different level Imagine if they still existed today We would probably be too scared to drive by if we saw them running across the grasslands They can flip our car! Do you want to get off here, Su? I see these kids selling hawthorns Don't know if they're edible Let me try Hello I see some children and women selling hawthorns along the road Hello Probably I'll try it first As you can see, it's too small It's similar to apple ber in Vietnam, but it's a bit smaller because it's wild These green hawthorns are still crispy But the others are overripe They can probably be used to make jam They're laughing at me These hawthorns are too small So, harvesting them requires much effort It probably takes a few hours to harvest 1 kg of these hawthorns How can I buy it now? They have no way to weigh hawthorns, and I also have nothing to carry them I'd like to try another one [Su]: Take the red one [Khoai]: I'll try the green one Sweet and acrid It's a bit grainy inside I also buy this handbag to carry hawthorns That's a lot! [Su]: It seems like one pile of hawthorns is 2,000 MGA So this big pile of hawthorns only costs 2,000 MGA This fruit is overripe, so it becomes mushy when I squeeze it Too much I thought it was 2,000 MGA per kg But when I give her 4,000 MGA, she gives me all of the two piles of hawthorns There are many children and women, and only one man over there If I had to harvest hawthorns, I would not be able to get 1 kg of hawthorns in a day by myself They can't grow any fruit trees here Surrounded by desert, they can only sell these small apples This is the amount of apples I have today - half a bag [The handbag costs 11,000 VND] Thank you Now we're getting back in the car Thank you very much Ah, they're asking for snacks Maybe we have some in the car Ah, we bought hawthorns and sent oranges back to them Give one orange to her I don't have any more of them Actually, when seeing the people here IDK how can they make money for their living On the sides, there're wild apple trees Their fruits are tiny, just like the tip of my finger And they pick those hawthorns to sale 2,000 MGA for a huge pile! Not 1 kg, a huge pile Around 11,000 VND And I think if you bargain, they can reduce the price But it was so cheap, how could anyone bargain that? So... I wonder if I was born here, how could I develop like now? The houses here are very small The walls are made from soil, leaves,... Those houses are so small The roofs are made from leaves too Look very rustic, not stable at all Oh, there're 2 Zebu cows Small houses only Over there too There's a double-decker house Maybe that's the largest one in this town I can see 2 baobabs in front of me Here's another one [Su]: They're so fat [Khoai]: How huge they are We'll stop for fuel The renting fee for this car, including the driver is around 1,500,000 VND per day Fuel and other fees are excluded To fully fuel this car, we paid 371,000 MGA Around 2,200,000 VND And we haven't come to the Avenue of the Baobabs That means we have to spend at least over 2mil VND from the capital city to come here The nearer we're to the Avenue, the more baobabs we can see And local people plant rice a lot too This is like a plain They plant rice, which is the main staple food of the country Asphalt is being replaced by soil Because of that, we have to reduce our speed to 5Km/h again This is the cow breed in Madagascar, it has a hump and large horns It's 2:30 PM now And the whole group hasn't had anything to put in the stomach I'm starving And the car is shaking too I'm having a car sick while being starved But it's okay As long as we can see the baobabs I can get through this Guys, maybe I've arrived to the Avenue of the Baobabs Lemme zoom it up Over there! So many baobabs in front of us Wow~ Look how massive it is when compared with the people on the ground The height must be 30 meters! The parking fee is 5,000 MGA Around 28,000 VND On my right hand, is one of the most famous Avenue of the Baobabs Of course, because baobab is one of the native plants in Madagascar There're many species of baobab, and as I remember, there're 8 or 9 of them 2/3 of the species endemic to Madagascar Two are native to Africa, and one is native to Australia We'll come back to visit the Avenue later We'll find something to eat I'm so hungry It's 3 PM and I have nothing in my stomach I should ask the driver to eat with me He's parking the car, maybe This is a small village Ah, they're selling the baobab fruit It's very light-weighted and kinda airy Am I standing on the right side of the light? Ah, it's edible Maybe I'll buy 1 of them These are the seeds of the fruit that are sold in packs like this This is maybe a kind of powder from the baobab too And these are dried wild apples The one that we saw on the street I'll buy this one 10,000 MGA for 1 fruit She'll smash it Wow, we need to be aggressive with this fruit Then she'll open it Ah, this is the inside It's kinda powdery Looks like the kapok fruit, with separated seeds I'll try it The smell is similar to the... I forgot the name of that fruit It's very similar Ah, dry tamarind! The smell is similar to unripened tamarind It's kinda powdery Uhm! Slightly sour And powdery It's kinda weird, a bit sour The feeling is 80% similar to unripened tamarind It has a seed inside Even the seed is similar to the tamarind seed, it has a thin layer outside If I plant this seed in Vietnam I can create a Baobab Playground It's similar to tamarind Try one! It's similar to the... The smell is similar to the green part of the watermelon It does smell like that Here! Eat it, and tell me if it's like tamarind or not Like dry tamarind [Su]: I'll remove the seed [Khoai]: The seed is huge, right? [Khoai]: The flesh is very thin [Su]: Yeah Wow, the seed has an outer layer too Just like tamarind seed It's very dry and the texture is quite powdery Can you see the powder flying when I smash it? It's stuck on my hand too And it's very light, just like a kapok seed The seed takes 5 parts, and the flesh only takes 0.5 part of the whole seed A little bit sweet But it's okay It's a very special tree with a special shape Other than the fruit, baobab rice and baobab powder They also sell baobab saplings If you want to plant this tree in Vietnam, buy this But I don't know if this can be brought outside of the country or not And I don't know if Vietnam accepts this plant or not Because it's a native plant in Madagascar, Vietnam doesn't have this type, so we need to check Ah, also 10,000 MGA for this sapling Sweet potato 500 MGA Maybe sweet potatoes are sold for 500 MGA each 3,500 MGA for all of them I will give one to the driver We already have our food I'm so hungry The driver said that this place had food and I trusted him But there's nothing to eat here Just a small village selling snacks I'll take my stuff And she'll change my money back too She also sells peanuts, but they have not been roasted yet It's a bit dry and fibrous Oh, this side is cooked But this side is not, it's still very hard It's okay! As I said, one side is cooked and the other side is not She's roasting coffee in a pot Wow, the temperature is high It's very smoky here Ah, the coffee smell Add some sugar And our cup of tea is finished The first flavor I can feel is the sweetness of sugar Here, the coffee seeds are roasted And the peel is dried to make tea This is coffee fruit peel tea If the sugar was added less, I can feel the flavor of the coffee peel even more But here, I can only taste the sugar flavor Behind me is the Avenue of the Baobabs I've dreamed of being here for a long time As you can see, there're dozens of baobabs, and each of them is huge! I'm so lucky that I can visit this place at the moment where those trees have flowers and fruits From what I read, baobab flowers bloom at night and bats or moths will pollinate them But now, I can see so many flowers are blooming It's winter in Madagascar, so the leaves are all gone Baobabs are mostly located in dry areas, where there's not much rain With such difficult weather to grow, we can mostly see small tree shrubs Not many plant species that are large like baobabs can grow there So baobab is like the miracle of evolution Look how big it is So huge Maybe it needs 4-5 people to fully hug around That's why I said that baobab is the miracle of evolution The branches are like roots pointing skyward, right? But no, they're branches but the leaves fell off Oh, a chicken! The leaves are all gone So that's why those trees look like they're upside down But it's not The trunk can store water inside a lot, to endure extended periods of drought The roots of those trees can dig deep into the ground for dozens of meters There're also smaller roots on the ground to absorb the upper water source And the leaves have a layer of wax that the water can maintain for a long time Can you see how small I am in front of it? This is not the biggest one A baobab tree can have a height of 30m and live for hundreds of years Last time, when a tree was cut down It was estimated to be over 1,000 years old, based on radiocarbon dating I looked for that information on the Internet, so you can check with me Here, people are planting some young baobabs They look like plucked Mai plants in our hometown Look at it, there're no leaves left Similar to a yellow Mai plant, right? But this is a baobab tree Not only one but so many baobab trees are being planted Here's another one Also a baobab If I take a photo with this tree and tell people that it's a yellow Mai plant, I bet people'll buy it The trunk is large and the stems are pointy It looks kinda normal now But when growing up, it'll be massive like that And there're 9 different species of baobabs in the world And 6 of them are native to Madagascar 2 species are in Africa, and the other one is in Australia Each species has a different shape The main characteristic is having a large trunk to keep water The structure inside the trunk allows it to keep water as long as possible But the shapes are different Some of them are smaller, shorter,... I'll insert some images here for you to refer Some animals can eat the moist bark to live through the dry season Local people can use the bark to make threads due to its fibrous characteristic Baobab fruits are edible, like the one that I tried The nutritional content inside is higher than some other food The baobab powder can be kept dried and safe for up to 3 years without any preservatives That was a car of tourists, we can experience plenty of dust every time a car passes by There's a truck inside And there're some other villages near here And this route is where we can... Is it right? I don't know... The route to the place with pointy rocks was confirmed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site Lemme check the map again [It's correct, that's the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park] But on that route, there were 3 tourists attacked last week, and 1 of them passed away So... So maybe I won't follow that route, it's the shortest route If we choose a longer route, it takes 3-4 days to be there With the shorter one, we just need 1 day But our safety is prioritized We have to be careful when traveling Especially when we heard about similar attacks And on the way, we have to drive across remote areas, so we won't go there this time This place is even more beautiful when the sunset comes Maybe an hour more As I can see... She's smashing the dough to make some kind of cake Wow, the cakes are a bit over-fried It smells so good, the smell of fermented dough The dough was well-risen Looks so good! She's shaping the dough by hands, and put them on a tray And she'll fry them here After being cooked, the cakes are transferred to a bowl I'll take 2 of them They're just taken out from the hot oil [Su]: Be careful, it's hot [Khoai]: Super hot Look at that, it fluffs up Amazing! So hot 500 MGA for 1 cake, around 3,000 VND Wow, the cake was airy The outside is a bit crunchy This one also reminds me of my childhood bread It's a bit sweet It has a good smell from fermented dough, and the crust is a bit crunchy Inside is very airy It's very simple but delicious Just like the one I had in my childhood It's steamy hot! As you can see 2,000 MGA for 1 fish She had already coated it with batter and fried it I'll take 1 fishtail This is a fried fishtail I paid 2,000 MGA for this one Around 11,000 VND It was thinly coated with batter and deep-fried It's still warm The outer layer is crispy and airy A bit salty She laughed at me when I said the word "salty" The fish is very fresh because the coast is near here But this fish has a lot of tiny bones You have to be careful with this Wow, crunchy! This dish is very simple, but the most important thing is that the fish must be fresh I'll buy this for the driver I think he'd love it Uhm~ Super crispy In the village, there're only around dozens of houses They're small, and this is one of the houses I saw on the way The walls are made from clay and soil, by hand Just a small village next to the Avenue of the Baobabs There're not too many special things here We'll go to a coffee shop I think I'll wait for the sunset there It's the best time to enjoy the view Wow, this is a juice made from baobab Wow, it's very thick I'll find a great place to sit down This coffee shop has a large tamarind tree that covers the whole place Oh, there're not any seats left? Maybe we'll move to the outermost table We'll sit here And we can look at the baobab trees Believe me, guys! This juice is 90% similar to tamarind juice I have a suspicion that... Because this coffee shop is located underneath a large tamarind tree with so many fruits Did they use tamarind juice to blend with baobab juice? And created this drink that costs 8,000 MGA for a small glass like this? It's around 45,000 VND Nearly 50,000 VND for this cup And the taste is really like tamarind juice The color is also the same But when I asked the owner, she said that this juice was made from the baobab fruit I think maybe those baobab fruits are still raw and not dried yet, so the juice can be made from them [Khoai]: But it's really similar to tamarind, right? [Su]: Yeah, totally! That's just my guess Because I haven't had a 100% baobab juice before This drink is just so similar to tamarind juice, so I had that suspicion But I have no evidence to prove my words! It's wrong if I doubt the honesty of this place Their flavors are alike when I tried the dried baobab fruit So maybe this is the juice made from unripened fruits, which are still hydrated inside But the sourness of this drink is stronger than the dried fruit I tried I have this doubt for a reason! The guests in front of me start to move over there To enjoy the sunset in the middle of the Avenue of the Baobabs I'll do the same The view looks romantic~ And finally, my dream has come true! Wow, suddenly, there're so many cars The tourists start to come here to take photos And those cars create a mystic mist from dust So the view looks even more breathtaking and...polluted too The tourists are walking to that side to have a better sunset view Should we go there too? Nevermind! We'll stand here to look at the view of the baobabs Which are lightened up by the sunset Goodbye, everyone Thank you for watching till the end of this video Make sure to like this video and subscribe to my channel And see you later on the next journey of Khoai Lang Thang in Madagascar
