welcome to assignment 4.5 before you start working make sure you have read modules 3 and 4. this video will not give answers or substitute for reading the modules when completing any work always remember academic integrity academic integrity is doing your own work each time and every time you submit work please remember academic integrity violations may result in removal from driver's ed this assignment each question will have multiple parts in order to receive full credit each part of the question will need to be answered individually read the question carefully so you can reply to each part be specific in your response giving detailed and complete answers show us how well you understand what you have learned if you have trouble with a question do not worry simply read the question again to make sure you understand review the module to find additional information and if you're still having trouble ask your teacher for help teachers can help you without violating academic integrity standards now let's take a look at each question for question 1 we see a traffic light with the yellow signal lit for part a explain what the yellow light means for part b imagine you are approaching this traffic light and go through step by step the thoughts and actions you will be taking as you reach this point for question 2 we see an image of a red light and a no right turn area here we want you to identify two factors indicating that there is no right turn keep in mind that the red light itself is not the indicator for part b we want you to explore what you would need to do if you accidentally turn right in this area please refer back to the module for specific instructions on how to safely manage this situation in florida we often have power outages and those power outages can include a traffic signal there are specific procedures to follow when the traffic lights are not lit for part a what is the proper procedure for navigating this intersection when there is no power at the broken traffic signal for part b how would you respond if an officer was directing traffic for question four part a simply identify which car has the right of way is it the blue car or the gray car be specific for part b tell us why the car you selected would have the right of way in our final question question 5 you're being asked about navigating roundabouts roundabouts are found throughout florida and you may encounter them from time to time if you have any difficulty understanding roundabouts please review module 3.5 for part a they want you to explain the rules for this roundabout intersection and for part b you take the role of the driver of the red suv what are your options for proceeding through this roundabout remember always be specific and that's it take a moment to read over your responses be sure that each question has a response your response reflects your knowledge of course content and that you are ready to submit and then submit it after your assignment is submitted and graded your score as well as any teacher feedback is available in your gradebook simply click on the assignment and scroll down to teacher comments while it may be discouraging to miss points on an assignment in this course you have the opportunity to make corrections and resubmit your work don't miss this opportunity to maximize your grade remember your written work is your chance to shine always do your best work good luck with the assignment let us know if you need any help
