what's up i'm your girl Ni and look I'm just a girl that trades okay but in this video I want to get into what is FVG so FVG is this fair value gap okay um this is something that happens often in the market some people strictly trade off of it um some people um have it incorporated into their strategy there's so many different things that you can do and um so much information that this can tell you um in the market okay okay so the fair value gap is a polygamous relationship between three candles okay they all have to be connected some way somehow all right so I'm going to give you two two examples one side where what it should look like and then one where there's a gap okay okay so I know these may look similar okay but let me explain what the difference is so if you look right here you can see that this candles here wick you can see this candle's wick right here is either connected past touching whatever the case may be this first candle here so we go all the way over it's It's wick to wick wick to wick so we go over here what do we have this candles here this candle's wick here and the first candle wick here are they touching no the way the market works is like a a no man left behind type of thing so it's not going to have any um uh gaps it's not going to leave any gaps um so it always have to come back we just don't know when for one and not only that um this is why it makes a correction this is why we have to have a correction in the market because it can't just go you know aggressively um to the top or to the bottom without correcting itself you know coming back grabbing little things like this okay but so when it comes to a gap you have three candles like I said you have this polygamous relationship between three candles and they are all connected with this needs to be connected they all need to be connected to each other okay so this is your your FVG why because this candle's wick the first candle's wick right here and the third candle's wick is not touching this right here is your gap okay this is your gap because if we look over here they're touching they're touching every time this is this is what it's supposed to look like all right now there are a couple different ways that we can see um a fair value gap in a market and I'm going to explain what those are so here's one now you can see that this right here is probably the most obvious gap okay in the market because there's literally just a a gap in the market and we'll see this probably most of the time we'll see this um like when the market just opening up like on a Sunday and that and that's because um over the weekend while the market is closed there's still news happening there's still things that's going on you know and what that does is that affects the market because news at the end of the day still affects the market so a lot of times when we see this that means some news done over the weekend while it was closed now sometimes you may have something like this okay so what do we see here here we see that the body of the candle here is not touching this body's candle here and that happens because um a lot of times the market open up and it's moving so fast that that's why it will leave a gap really quick so we also need body to body touching again it has to be touching connecting whatever the case may be some way somehow okay or it will leave a gap all right and as you can see this right here and this little area here is a gap i shouldn't be able to go right through that and there's nothing there i'm not not you know drawn on nothing so you also need it to be body to body all right okay so you know I had to bring it to the charts you know so you can get an idea on what it would actually look like all right now I'm on a 15-minut time frame it happens on all time frames but this is just um for an example um so let's let we're going to start here okay okay so we look at this candle right here this this long bearish candle all right one two three okay cuz again it's it's between three um candles we're just starting here it doesn't matter where you start starting here so if you go to this candle this small bearish candle here's the wick right here okay and then the third candle where's that wick at the wick is here this right here this area right here is your gap area now I did say that it will get filled eventually we just don't know when okay but let's let's mark this i'm going to mark this and so we can see when it gets filled all right now we moving over um moving moving over okay look at all of these candles all of these candles are touching some way somehow all right touching some way even if you look right here this what I was talking about when it the body aren't touching okay but what happened was you have this candle with this wick came and grabbed that there so boom filled we moving down look another gap where the bodies aren't touching okay where the body What I mean by that is like the candle open and close like wherever it opens um it should be touching the the previous candle if not then it's a gap so you can see that the open here is up here that means once it open it moved way too fast it had moved way too fast to and created that so this is a gap here but what happens this candle this candle here already came and filled that we're moving over everything is cool everything is good uh look uh bullish candle now the wick here wick here isn't touching but this candle came filled that this filled still here now we have a gap here um cuz the bodies aren't touching here so this would be a gap we can mark we let's mark this to see when does that get filled because we're moving up look wick to wick see how it's bypassing this candle's wick here is touching this candle's wick here so no gap there so every you know everything is good we still going just getting an idea on what the candle should look like okay now let's zoom back out now this black line here was our first gap um the start of our first gap that we had now the candles after that did not fill this gap and this is why I'm marking it because I want to know when did it get uh filled so as we move on we move on look at that it came filled that gap and it actually came retested um off of that came retested off of that and then you know we continue on continue on now we have this right here this right here is a very large gap here because you have this wick of this candle and the wick of this candle because we got one two three candles every three candles you can look at it like that every three candles um are they touching are the wicks touching the body's touching some way somehow okay so you can look like I said every three candles so you got one two three okay the bottom of this wick of the third candle here and the top of the wick of the first candle the middle wick the middle candle is who the other two candles are in a relationship with if that makes sense so this this is this is the head all right and these two right here them the ones that this is the mutual uh friend type I guess you can say we both here for this candle right here the middle candle so that's why the third candle and the first candle need to be connected okay but as you can see um we have this large gap right here and with this gap we're going to see when does it get filled let's remove this one okay we're going to see when does it get filled now we do have this and came down this right here actually is a great example to show If you've seen something like this the way you trade this you will trade this the same way that you would trade supply and demand if you're unfamiliar with um supply and demand I do have a video on it and um you can look at that because it will further explain you know how to how to trade it but say you seen something like this you know you have your your breaker structure here you'll have this candle here that created this uh fair value gap right here okay what did it do it came tapped into that that means this is a good area um it it came back again once you were given a bullish um some bullish confirmation you can you know could have gotten in here take your stop loss to wherever um you know you want to take it to take it to however many um ticks that you want to take it to or wherever zone area you know all of that all of that is on you okay but this is how you would trade that okay you have this gap boom it tapped into it once it wick like this um great confirmation once it wicks like this that means this gap is a strong strong area But always keep in mind that uh that it will get filled eventually so continue on okay um even right here even right here we have this right here and this right here that was a gap there it pushed down what happened it came back up look feel this end right here this candle here feel that all right we pushing up we pushing up some more another gap here cuz you got this candle's wick and this candle's wick okay so this is another gap so you know then we moving and you can tell there's no gaps here because there's wicks everywhere so not really any gaps that's getting filled um even this right here that has no wick this candle right here that has no bottom wick right here it doesn't matter this is still a gap on top of this space right here a gap like and these gaps have to get filled okay these gaps have to get filled so even though it doesn't have a wick you still mark it because it needs to be touching body to body wick to wig wick to body whatever the case may be so boom you have that it came let's see it came this far so let's see if this one gets filled let's see did this one get filled cuz this one didn't tap all the way here okay so we moving all right everything is everything even right here a gap cuz body a body a gap but if we pushing up look that all that got filled this gap right here got filled here [Music] oh we still let's see we still got this large gap down here so let's see boom look that one up here got filled this gap here end up getting filled coming up it created another large obvious gap here but that almost instantly um got filled because once it dropped and this is still um that same gap area and as you can see it it rejected off of this again this is the same this same um first fair value gap where you could have entered in um if you you know understand how to trade it um and it came dipped lower so it filled it a little bit more it filled a little bit more so now we only have Now we only have this much of the gap to fill okay and then boom that pushed up let's see what else we got more gaps here this is It's just all day all day all day look these three candles right here again look at the three candles um you got wick to wick they were not touching so that created a gap this right here pushed up a little bit into the gap with this green candle right here so it left that much of a gap it left that much of a gap push down let's move this because we already done filled all of that all of this done got filled already pushed up with this here now we got boom boom but what happened kang pushed down that you know got filled like it's it's going to eventually get filled and it doesn't matter what time frame you're on it's it's going to happen like I can let's let's go to the hourly go to the hourly and see if we see the same thing i'mma go back some more because I guess we already did those let's do some random now this is the other gap that I was saying what day is this look Friday to Sunday friday to Sunday your obvious gap here um because we still have things going on over the weekend there's still this just tells you right here that it was news going on while the market was closed so you know this is going to get filled let's mark that from wick to week nothing is touching so that's how we're going to do that there whatever it's not perfect but here we go you look over here look boom it eventually got filled all right we can look at this i know I'm going too fast i feel like we can look at this right here this right here this right here that's a gap we move over right here all of this this candle right here took out all of that right there filled that gap there okay we can even look down here where you see let me mark it let me mark it so you got boom cuz you got this candle right here this large engulfing candle here and this in the third in the first candle right here so let's say we mark that up okay this is a u a gap all right a fair value gap no these are fair value gaps but you have a gap here all right and then it came as low as filling it this much so now we'll just be waiting to see well we're not you know waiting but you'll be looking to see um it get filled the the rest of the candle to get filled so let's see if that happens up and that happens that got filled all right everything here is all filled because everything is either touching or it's been filled already and now this right here neither the body or the wick is touching that's a gap again a obvious gap because we can we can clearly see it what day was this wednesday wednesday that was some heavy news to do that okay let's move over to see if we're going to get that filled okay we're just dropping down oh we got another one of those Friday to Sunday another Friday to Sunday gap that means heavy news was going on over the weekend that got filled let's just see if this top one gets filled another obvious gap as well as over here too look at these gaps but got filled over here this right here let's see if this gap all the way filled and it did they filled that let's go back and see if our um top gap gets filled boom that gets filled while leaving look Friday to Sunday again heavy news on the weekend heavy news on the weekend filled here so so overall these gaps will eventually get filled because the market operates in the no man left behind you know what in a in a market's case is no money left behind that's what that is no money left behind and it's going to go back and get that money so it it just is not going to leave gap in the market so with that being said I'm out
