hello and welcome to reservations trainings for Opera property management system a reservation is the way accommodations are booked in Opera this reserves the space for the booking by taking the room out of inventory in most cases an individual profile is attached to the reservation existing or new in order to track guest production in today's lesson we're going to learn how to create a simp Le reservation in the Opera PMS system and we're also going to take a look at the rate query screen in Opera and we will also take a look at a couple availability screens as you can see on the screen this is the rate query screen it tells you up in the leftand corner that you're in the rate query screen there's a couple different ways that uh you can bring up the rate query screen one of of the ways to bring it up is by clicking on the reservation button and clicking on new reservations another way to open up the rate query screen is is by clicking your quick key the F5 key on your keyboard it will take you to the rate information screen and then you can click on rate query or you can just press the enter button to take you to the rate query screen and the last way to get to the rate query screen is by pressing your F7 quick key when you press your F7 quick key it takes you to the rate query screen now let's take a look at the rate query screen here as you notice the rate query is used to search for rates and availability based on informations entered into the fields since the whole screen is surrounded by the yellow border this means the entire screen is a filter search what does the rate query screen consist of well at the top the first field is your arrival date this is the guest datee of arrival their first day of the reservation if you notice next to it it has whatever date you put in there it has the date date day of the week um that that date uh represents next to the date there's a box if you click on the box here it takes you to a calendar screen here so when you're choosing the date you can choose it by the calendar here or you can type in the actual date and you don't have to put any dashes in it will do it for you so if I put in 06 10 17 hit my Tad key then it will take me to the next the next field the number of nights field the number of nights the guest to stain is the number of nights field if I was wanted to if I hit my Tab Key and went to a field I wanted to go back to the previous field you can do a shift Tab and it will take you back to the previous field so if the guest is staying two nights I'm going to type in two nights press my Tab Key and then it takes me to the departure field the guest date of departure is the day the guest is leaving the hotel notice the date and then the day of the week beside the departure date the next field if I hit my tab key is the number of adults field this is the number of adults staying in the room if I hit my Tab Key it will take you to the child field this is the number of children staying in my my room to with this particular reservation if I want to go back to the number of adults I do a shift tab takes me back to the number of adults I put in two hit my Tab Key children I'm going to put in one and then it takes takes me to the number of rooms field this is how many rooms that is being booked at this time of the same room type I'm going to go over these other fields later on in the training session but let's say that you only have this information here you don't have their name you don't have their company you don't have what rate they want so if we want to look at the rates that are available for June 10th for two nights I'm going to click on the okay button or I can just press enter once I press enter or click on the okay button it will take me to the rate query details screen so the rate query details screens reflects the results of the information entered into the rate query screen as well as looking at the property rate restrictions to give the user room and rate availability for the requested time period why is the rate amounts highlighted in yellow here when a rate amount is highlighted in yellow this means there is a rate change at some point during the guest day so remember I'm staying two nights and my rates are in yellow so to see the details of the rate changes the you user can select the rate info on the rate query screen so if I'm highlighted on the bar rate which is this rate here and under a king standard King room for $239 and I want to see the rate change during that stay I highlight the rate I click on rate info and once I do that it shows me the two nights of their stay shows that the first night their rate is 249 the second night their rate is 229 and we'll go over this screen in a little more detail if you notice up in the leftand corner it tells you what screen you're on you're on the rate summary screen I close and it takes me back to the rate detail screen okay up at the top in the left hand hand corner this gives you a brief summary of the stay information put on the previous screen so remember we chose June 10th for two nights one room two adults and one children one child below the rate query summary up here in the leftand corner the next spot is the room types here the property rooms specific room type will be listed across the top of the grid if you notice you have your different room types here when the user puts their cursor over room type it will turn it into a pointing finger once you single click it will bring up a room type status screen on this screen the room type will be listed as well as the total number of that room type available in the hotel the current housekeeping status is listed as well below that below the room types you have the include over booking field physical inventory is the number of rooms the property has a available for the length of stay entered include overbooking is a total set by the hotel more or less than the physical inventory that the hotel is allowing the user to sell to so if you look at my screen below the K1 room type if you notice the include over booking is 35 and my physical inventory in the hotel is 30 so I have set an overbooking rule for the K1 the Kings to be sold five over for the date that I have queried here okay on the left hand side we call these rate codes rate codes are on the leftand side if you want to see what a stands for you can doubleclick on the word and it will tell you A is for Arts Adventure package web special 10% of the bar rate so if I double click on the word again it just so shows the bar or the uh rate codes on the left hand side so the available rate codes will be listed on the grid in green text to see the long description of the rate code which I just showed you you can double click on the rate code and the description will appear double click again to return them back to the rate code view view just like I did to the right of the rate code there will be a white box occasionally there will be a letter in this box this letter represents the type of profile it is attached to when it is negotiated rate the NY field the gray box will have the letters PKG in the field if this rate is a package rate code the user can click and hold the click to see what elements are part of the package so I'm double clicking and I'm holding it there and it shows for this this package it includes breakfast for two Museum passes for two and valet parking now we're going to talk about the rate amount grid here notice in the previous screen when I put in two nights it showed yellow and then if I click scope it will take me back to my rate query screen and I'm going to put in 610 17 hit my Tab Key click on okay and now I have some r set are in yellow it's because I changed the date query up in the leftand corner so now I have a rate change during my stay in the rate amount area the user will match up a room type and rate code in the grid if I wanted to Q2 and I highlighted the bar rate of $239 you will do this in order to get the rate amount to be sold for that room type rate amounts in green mean that they are able to be sold while rate amounts in red are sold out overso oversold closed and are restricted when a rate amount is singly clicked on it will it will now be highlighted in blue and any field dependent on that selection will be updated on the r query dat details various lamps will appear at the bottom of the grid depending on the configuration of the rate code the most common lamps would be deposit cancellation and commissions deposit this slamp means that there is a deposit rule attached to the rate code if the user clicks and holds the click then the rule and description will appear commission this lamp means that there is a commission code attached to the rate code this will inform the user if a travel agent would be eligible for commission or not if the if they book the rate if the user clicks and holds the click then the commission code and amount will appear so if on this particular one there is they will get 10% commission when a travel agent books this rate the filter search down in the leftand corner or in the yellow border here the rate amount views close negotiated dayuse and rate code okay so rate amount views by default opera shows the average rate based on the length of stay in this box the user is able to change the total view to Total rates without taxes or first night rate total rates without taxes for the two night stay if you want to just see the first night click on the first night radio button and if I want to see the average rate for during their stay I click on average rate and my rate is 29150 when a user wants to see all rates available or not they can put a check in the close box and all Clos rates will display on the grid uncheck the box and those rates are hidden if you notice we have a closed rate here for Fab closed and check it and I only see the rates that are available I click the close closed see my closed rates and I uncheck and I only see my available rates negotiated if you notice it's grade out this check box is only active when the user is booking a negotiated rate when active the user can unselect this box to see all available rate codes so we will do a negotiated rate later on in the training the next box is the day use check box Bo when checked the grid will display only dayuse rate codes meaning rate codes that are only available for today meaning they'll check in this morning and they'll check out before the night audit rolls that is considered a day use rate code the box for rate code down in the leftand corner the user can type in or all or part of a rate code and then tab this will search the rate query details screen for rate codes that match that criteria for example if a user types in R and then tab the screen will display all rate codes that begin with that letter the info field here this field displays information that the property may have configured about a rate code by default it will display the rate code and room type selected on the grid so if I highlighted on bar one in the dk1 it tells me this is 10% off the bar rate and the one that I've highlighted on is a deluxe King one bed the sell message below the info box the property May configure sell messages to communicate information to the user about special events or limitations on certain rate codes or rooms and the next box below is called events this field will show any special events the property may have populated to the property calendar if the user selects the ellipses then they will be taken to the property calendar screen takes us to the property calendar screen I'm on the 10th if there was an event going on it would show the event here and then I can close out overbooking when a property has set over booking amounts the user will be able to see these amounts by selecting over booking the screen will show overbooking amounts for the house level and for the room type that is currently selected on the grid and we're not overbooking the house if we choose room type here it shows the room type that I am highlighted on the dk1 and it shows we are not overbooking it notice we have 24 o including overbooking and we have 24 physical inventory and I'm going to close the next button is the item inventory button there are cases when a guest stays may be based on the availability of an item the property offers during their stay the item inventory button will show if the item can be booked during the guest stay so if I click on item inventory here I click on search these are the items that the hotel has available during my stay here shows how many I have available at this particular property they have adapters air purifiers a crib fan humidifier and rolling rollway bed this tracks inventory so it can tell you how many of those you have left for the dates you're booking and I'm going to close out the next item is the weight list button if the hotel does not have a specific room type or rate available a guest May request to be placed on a wait list until a room becomes available and the hotel contacts them Opera does not automatically notify the user that a room is available for someone on the wait list you can click weight list here and we can choose the reason that we're putting them on the weit list we can choose a priority for this particular guest put their telephone number here and description and then we could put them on the wait list I'm going to go back into the rate query screen do my two nights click enter or click okay takes us back to the rate in rate query screen the next button is the rate info button so I'm going to click on the rate info button here rate info allows the user to review the entire detailed rate breakdown including taxes generates and package amounts room Revenue if there's any packages subtotal JS or taxes that are attached to it if you want to see the detail breakdown of the line that I'm highlighted on you can click on details and it will show you the breakdown shows a room charge 305 and then the two taxes for this particular rate the next button is the analyze button so I'm on this rate code here bar one and the analyze button it gives the user the ability to review if there are any restrictions on a rate code and the option to view review alternate dates for availability for that rate code so it shows that it's opened every night for those three nights if I click alternates you could choose what what you have available here and what is restricted the next button is the long info button the property can choose to configure long information in the rate code configuration providing extended details about the rate code including rules and exceptions for this particular rate code we have no description available for this rate code if I highlight the package art and we go to long info we don't have any long info for that rate code either all that information is down below here in what we call the short info the next button is the turnaway button when a guest cannot book the property may want to record why the guest is not staying the turnaway screen allows for the property to track these reasons and pull a report based on turnaways so when you track a turnaway it will pull the arrival date number of nights the room type that they were trying to book the rate code and then you have to choose notice it's in it's in bold so it's a required field you choose why the guest did not book say they were pricing resistant you could also track the name maybe put a comment there the country and postto code once I click on okay it t takes me back to the rate query screen if I put my dates back in click on okay takes me back to the rate career screen that we were working on the next button below turnaway is scope scope allows the user to leave the rate query details screen in order to enter in new stay date information and return back to the rate query screen so when I click on scope takes me back to the rate query screen and allows me to put new dates in say they're looking for 6:15 for three nights I click on okay and it takes me back into the right query screen and remember on scope if turnaway is on this option does not require the user to log a turnaway okay the N button is okay once a rate code and room type combination is selected the user can click okay to continue to the reservation screen okay so once we click okay here so we would choose our rate and we choose our room type once we click okay it's going to take us to the reservation screen which we will just we will do in just a second here and the last button here is the close button this button will close the user out of the rate query details screen and back to the main PMS screen if turnaway is on then it will take you to the turnaway screen and a turnaway will need to be logged so if I click close it's going to bring up the turnaway screen I choose why the guest did not book once I've done that I click okay and it takes me back to the main PMS menu and you're where we started at so now we're going to make a reservation and take you through the reservation screen so I'm going to click on the reservation button again or I could choose click on F5 or F7 which ever you'd like if you want to use your keyboard and you don't want to use your mouse you could do an ALT R and it would activate the reservation the word reservation up in the top left hand corner and I could use my down arrow key and then press enter when I press enter it takes me to the rate query screen so let's say I'm making a reservation for a guest for the 10th of June and it's going to be for two nights and I'm using my Tab Key to tab through the rate query screen let's say there's going to be two adults one child and it's going to be one room I click okay or press enter takes me to the rate query screen screen notice the rates that are in yellow means that there's a rate change during their stay let's say I'm going to book a king room standard King one bed and I'm going to give them the best available rate the bar rate I highlight the rate I can either double click on the rate or I can click okay to take me to the reservation screen so I'm going to go ahead and doubleclick on the 239 rate and whenever there's a rate change during their stay it will bring up the rate summary screen so you can tell the guest what the rate changes are first night there $49 and the second is going to be $229 plus taxes and with the total for their stay will be 20 $5 52580 then you can close the rate summary screen and it will take you to the reservation screen if you notice it's also warning you that different rates may apply during the stay please check multiple rate screen to verify I click on okay and now we can take a look at the reservation screen on the reservation screen any field that is preceded by bold text in Opera like the name the arrival date the departure date is a required field and must be populated to complete the reservation so if we take a look at this screen we have a few things that are in bold room type rate code res type Market source and payment now during the custom or during the configuration Pro process the property May request specific screen painting or fields to customize the reservation screen based on their needs these items will need to be addressed during training so we could add Fields here if we wanted to by doing what we call as screen painting and we'll go through that later on how can I navigate the screen without using the Mouse users can use the tab keys to move to the NY fi on the Opera screen to move back to a previous field you can do the shift and tab and it will take you back one field just like I showed you on the screen earlier another question you might have is can I make multiple room reservations some hotels do not allow multiple room reservations so they must enforce a one reservation one room policy this is due to the central reservation system interfaces so if they're interfacing with a third-party reservation system most of those reservation systems can only accept one reservation at a time so we will have set this particular hotel to take one room reservation at a time so let's say what components make up the reservation screen so we got all these fields we have to we have to fill out to make the reservation so we're going to go down each field here and talk about it and starting at the top we have the profile information here these fields can be populated from the existing guest Pro profile or a new profile can be created when creating a new profile the user can fill out the related profile fields or select the ellipses next to the last name so a couple ways here so if I type in the last name using proper casing hit my tab key type in the first name when I click my tab key after putting in the first name it's going to take me to a profile search screen and if you remember on a previous video we used the name Thomas Hansen and we created a profile for this person so when I put in the last name and first name it knew that it found a match so it took me to the profile search screen and shows me any profile file that has the last name Hansen first name Thomas you this is the profile you're looking for you could look at the profile you wanted by clicking on edit and it would take you to the profile screen if you wanted to go back one screen you'd click on close takes you back to the search screen if this was not the profile that you were looking for you could click close And create a new profile or you could click new and create the profile I know this is the guest that I'm looking for because I double checked the address the city and state and it matches the profile that I'm for the guest that I'm making the reservation for so I highlight the res the profile I click on okay notice profile Hansen has a restriction says do you want to continue if I have the permissions I'm going to say yes once I say yes it pulls that profile information and attaches it on the top of the reservation screen so now we're on the tab uh field of the title so if you wanted to change the title you could click on the drop-down and choose the title or use what's already on the profile so this is everything that's pulled off the profile notice that the B VIP status was pulled from the profile also if I wanted to see this profile I could click on the ellipses at the end of the last name and it takes me to the profile information here so if you wanted to make any changes to the address for this person you could you could add a communication over here on the right an email address and once you have completed that you click on close and it takes you back to the reservation screen okay over on the right hand side you have the profile linkage fields we call this these fields allow for different types of of profiles to be linked to the reservation to check to track production we can attach a travel agent profile we can attach a company profile we can attach a group profile and if the property uses what we call The Source profile which we talked about in a previous class then we could add the field for Source profile on the reservation screen all right right so now we're going to focus on the reservation menu down on the bottom here so the guest arrival date plls from when we made the reservation started the reservation you have the number of nights you have the departure date of the guest notice you have the calendars on the right that we saw earlier and it also tells you what day of the week that they're stay in they're arriving on 610 which is a Saturday and they're departing on 6:12 which is a Monday we have number adults that are booked in the guest room of two we have children as one and the number of rooms as one that we're making on this reservation screen the room type here this is the physical room type that the guest will be staying in they'll be staying in a king one and then over to the right we have What's called the RTC RTC stands for rate to charge this field allows the prop property to have the guest booked in one physical room type but charged for another this field is commonly used in room upgrade situations so if we wanted since the guest is right now in a king one but we want to move them to a room type maybe we're going to upgrade them we can change the room let's say we want to move them to a king suite we can choose the room type that they're in now we're moving them to a king suite says do you want to change the RTC to sk1 B I'm going to say no so now the guest is in a king suite and only be in charge for a king room notice this rate stayed at 249 if I go back and change them to a King standard King the rate stays the same they're in the K1 and they're still being charge for a K1 okay after the RTC field we have the room field this is the room number that we're going to block them in okay in this lesson we're not going to show you how to block a room but this is where you would block the room and we'll do that later on Nix field is the rate code that we chose during the rate query screen so this is the rate code that they're being booked at the bar rate or best available rate the rate amount field this is the rate selected from the rate query detail screen and this is the actual rate that is going to be posted to the guest folio each night during their stay so notice it's in a a yellow background that means there's a rate change during their stay if we want to see what the rate change is during this stay today we could click on the ellipses box and we can go to daily details and we can see the rate change and it takes once we close out it takes us back to the reservation screen the check box over on the right is called fixed rate when there is a check mark in the box then the rate has been man ulated from the original amount set in the rate configuration or the user has decided to lock in the rate in the case that the room type changes or the rate amount increases or decreases in the future so if we wanted to change the rate here of what has been set up in configuration we could go to daily details we could change the rate to $251 hit my tab Tab Key choose a source here I'm going to click on okay and I'm going to click on okay and notice now since we changed it from 249 to 251 it holds that by clicking and putting a check mark in the fixed rate field so it holds that rate if we would uncheck that fixed rate it would go back to the 249 rate which has been set up in configuration for the rate code bar best available rate so the box below rate is called the package box for packages when the user books a package rate for the guest the word packages will be in blue so if we had a package on this particular reservation then the letters would be in blue here this is an indicator that there are package elements present on this reservation this field will also allow a property to sell additional package elements and attach them directly to the reservation so if we wanted to add a breakfast or add a package to this particular reservation we could click on the drop down notice we're in the package window we could click new and when we click the dropdown for packages it would show any packages that are available to sell and for this particular if there's no nothing in the drop-down when you set up the package elements during configuration there's a little check box on the package package elements when you create them that says sell separately when you check that box it allows you to be able to sell what we call packages on the fly at this particular property they do not want to sell packages on the fly so there is no codes that have been marked to sell separately so that a front desk agent does not mistakenly attach a package to a rate that is not a package rate okay we're going to close back out and go back to the reservation screen the next box below packages is a block code if this particular reservation was attached to a group block the group block code would be attached here but since there is nothing in the block code that means this reservation is not part of a group block and we'll go over this in more detail when we do group block training the box next to block code is ETA which stands for estimated time of arrival so if during the reservation process the guest says I'm going to be arriving at 11:00 a.m. I can type in 11 and then when you pull up this reservation you know this guest is going to be arri arriving by 11:00 a.m. am okay now we're going to go to the middle area here and we're going to start with res type for reservation type notice it's in bold so this is a required field reservation type is the way the reservation is guaranteed by the guest notice there's a drop down here if you didn't want to use the mouse to click on the drop- down you could put your cursor in the field click F9 and it will bring up your choices in the drop down down here so notice these are all the different types of res types can be a company guarantee a deposit requested deposit received and all these reservation types are configured per property so each property could have their own reservation types now notice we have it defaulting to credit card guarantee we can set this up in configuration so that so that whenever we make a reservation it would all automatically default to the res type credit card guarantee and what credit card guarantee means is that when you make the reservation and you choose the res type credit card guarantee then that reservation has to have a credit card on it before you can save the reservation the next field is your Market code field and notice it's in bold also I click on the drop-down shows you a listing of our Market codes for this particular property Market code is one of the ways the property can track production statistics this indicates where the business is coming from and each property can configure their own market segments nck field after that is considered the source field notice it's in bold also if I click on the drop- down at this particular property these are the source that have been configured for this property source code is one of the ways the property can track production statistics this indicates the source of business nfield is the origin code and with the origin code it's not mandatory the drop down in this particular Hotel this is the origin so with origin a property can track which methods of communication a guest uses to make the reservation so if they're calling in on the telephone you can choose telephone here and that tells you that the guest was calling in on the telephone phone to book this reservation so you can track that just so you know some hotels will swap the source and origin some hotels will put the source as where the reservation is coming from and others will put the origin as where how they heard about you it depends on the property the next field is the payment information this would be the primary method of payment used to book this reservation and since this reservation is credit card guaranteed then choose visa and I'm going to put in my Visa number and just so you know this credit card has to be a valid credit card for it to work in the system oper will validate the credit card to make sure that number is a valid credit card okay the nck field on the uh reservation screen after the credit card field and expiration date field is the CRS number central reservations number is used as a way to track and look up a research reservation okay so that is going to come over from our third-party reservation systems so when it makes a reservation in a thirdparty reservation system it will create a confirmation number and that confirmation number will be passed down into Opera okay after the CRS number you see approval code approval amount and Suite width we will go over those Fields when we're doing a guest checkin the confirmation check box here is upon completion of the reservation the user will be taken to the confirmation delivery screen if this box is checked the Nyx box up in the right hand corner the guest balance we will go over um in another session we also have a discount amount and a discount percent field so if you want to Discount the rate over here on the left hand side the first field is the discount amount and the second field is the percent amount now when we create the rate code for bar on that rate code there is a checkbox that would allow you to be able to Discount this particular rate but as you can see I cannot click in the discount amount or the percentage amount because this particular rate code does not allow us to discount accountant from this area here if this rate code was able to Discount once we put the discount in there then we would have to choose a reason from the drop- down so if you're discounting it by $10 you would put a minus $10 here and then you would have to choose a reason why you're discounting it the next field below that is the specials field if a guest makes a special request during their stay the user can log the request by a attaching the item using the drop-down menu next to the field so on this particular one there's a pet here is all the different special codes for this particular property and always remember these special request codes are configurable for each property so if we wanted to be uh we wanted an early check-in requested remember we put in 11:00 a.m. as our ETA so so we can mark the Box beside the code and then click on okay and it will ask you do you want to attach the special to the profile if you say yes every time Thomas Hansen makes a reservation this special request will show up on the reservation screen so if you don't want this to show up every time they make a reservation at your hotel we can just click no and it will only be attached in the specials field for this reservation and the next line below that is the comment field and any comments pertaining to this stay will be entered in this field if you notice there's already comments attached here remember on the profile we attached a reservation comment to the profile so it pulled over to the comment line on the reservation screen so this particular comment was on the profile as a reservation comment and every time the guest Thomas Hansen stays at your hotel this comment will show up on the reservation so if we wanted to add a second comment we could click on the drop-down we could click on new we choose the comment type do we want it to show up on the in-house screen on the reservation screen and do we also want it to show up on the cashiering or billing screen for this particular one I only want it to show up on the reservation screen so I choose reservation and then I can put my comment in guest loves chocolate so now the guest has two different comments on the reservation notice down at the bottom it shows when it was put on and on what date it was updated if you notice in the comment field it is yellow just like the rate field is um that means you have more than one comment attached to this reservation so whenever you see it in yellow you know there's more than one comment so we notice there's two comments here also on the reservation screen if you notice down at the bottom we have red lamps these are very similar red lamps that you saw on the profile screen when we did our profile training under daily details it shows up because we have a rate change during our stay we can do a single click on daily details and it will pull up our rate change during their stay notice we also have a red lamp for comments because we've added a comment to the reservation if I do a single click on it it takes you to the comment field notice we also have preferences because we added special requests and those are part of our preferences so if we do a single click on preferences it will take us to the preference field and once I clicked on preference it also gave me a conf information number because it had to save the reservation first before I could see the comments so room features I'm requesting a balcony and near the stairs and then I have my special requests for the pet here these are all attached to the profile we also have profile notes if I wanted to see the profile notes I can click on profile notes these are our comments and they're also on the profile okay down in the right hand corner you have save okay options and close remember the save button when I click save it will save the the reservation and once I hit save it will also give you a confirmation number and I'll show you how the confirmation number pops up on the next training but also when you click on okay it saves the reservation and takes you out one screen and the NY button is close that means it will close and and save your reservation just like on the profiles we talked about earlier the option button we will go over the options on the reservation screen in the reservation to training if you notice up at the top there is a place where you see the number here that is your confirmation number so in the blue field 10650 is the confirmation number for this reservation down at the bottom it was shows who it was created by I'm logged in as supervisor on the date of the hotel date and then if there was any updates to this particular reservation this completes a very simple reservation um in the Opera property management system once I close it takes me back to the main Opera screen if I wanted to search for that particular reservation that I just made I can go to update reservation and update reservation we will bring up any future reservations that are in the system any past reservations any Nosh shows any canceled reservation but if I want to find the reservation that I just made I can type in the last name I've got notice the yellow border this is your search criteria here but if I have the last name I can put in the last name click on search it will bring up my reservation notice the red lamps down at the bottom notice there's a color here by the name that tells you that this guest is a VIP when during configuration process um when you're creating the VIPs you can add a color to it so you know exactly what type of VIP that is notice that I'm a VIP 2 the color is a light blue so that tells you that they kind of highlights that they're a VIP so that completes our training for the reservation one session in this class I showed you how to make a simple reservation I also showed you how to attach an existing profile to that reservation we went through all the different fields on the reservation screen and remember anything in bold on the reservation screen is a required field we also went over so I'm going to close out key F7 once you get to the rate query screen you put in the date that you're looking for what rate you're looking for click on the okay button and it will take you to the right query screen and in
