President, I want to leave here by introducing you to this student. His name is Mousawenko Sibutelis, a student from Township of KwaTem. He is the best matrix student in our province. And when I say the best president, I mean the best.
He beat all students in Gauteng, whether in public or private education. And out of 1,800 marks, he got 1,700 marks. And in pure mathematics, out of 300, he got 299 marks.
And he's coming from the township to demonstrate that we have turned around. We have turned around township. This is the secondary school.
From Gauteng. As claims, Cops 2, Moussaka Moussik 2A, 3rd service register, 4th and 5th district, 3rd and 4th customers, 4th home language, 275. In the... English as additional language.
273. Geography. Hello, hello guys. Welcome back to Gift Varsity TV.
This is your host, Gift Varsity. We are at the University of Cape Town. In Cape Town. Right. Don't forget to like this video, subscribe.

Yeah. What's your name? My name is Ali Souf Hello Mr. Musabu Telezi Can you please introduce yourself to my viewers at home? My name is Musabu Telezi I am the founder of the Tele Sokondari School in Watem in the townships Alright, Watem We saw you on TV Tell us about the story man You were top achiever Yeah, so I got the invite to the NSC Ministerial Awards and then in Lapo I was positioned to go to three schools and then the day after that I went to the provincial awards and I was the Gauteng's Top Achiever. You were what?
The Gauteng's Top Achiever. So you beat it, is it beat it or you beat everyone in Gauteng? Yeah, basically.
Every school in Gauteng? Doesn't matter, independent school. private guys i'm with the best yeah like you know you know my guy how did you feel that you now realized that no you're one of the top achievers of the of the country and also the top achiever of howdy yeah it felt like you know it was a dream but you know at that moment i realized with your dreams are coming true because you know if you're coming from a background that has a lot of things you realize when you actually you don't get time to celebrate a small achievement so for this one it has like been quite a great and exciting toy about a big crowd a top achiever so yeah it was nice it was nice you know Man, let's go to the highlights of your marks.
You're Top Achiever for what in National? For Quantile 3, so Position 2. So Position 2. It was based on the average. Okay, okay, okay.
Then in Gauteng, everyone. Mazwa, now you're ruling Gauteng. Zautini.
Let's go to your marks, man. You know this channel. Did you watch this channel?
Yeah, I did. A lot. last year in grade 11 last game and i started like waking up grade 11 like okay of course i've been academically excelling but you know actually waking up really up up up it was in grade 11 that was when i started watching you okay okay just just to give you an evidence of what people who normally watch my channel do they watch the channel and they implement what they watched okay let's go to your maths man what was the math yeah so for math i got a hundred percent okay yeah what is another highlight physics yo i got 397 percent so it was for physics geo and uh life sciences yeah okay okay okay languages there Languages, they were not bad because obviously, Siyazuuti languages, yes, yes.
And Anes Ntozao. But surprisingly, I got over 90 for both of my languages. So for English, I got 91. And then for Isizole, I got 92. Alright.
How did you do it in MEDS? Just give us tips on how you studied and all of the stuff. Yeah, honestly, I just can't take away.
they fake to Wuti you know I'm a math guy although things are shiagging as I ain't but yeah I just can't take that away and honestly I had a best teacher in math you know he was so dedicated in teaching young minds like me so what I'd usually do in math obviously tell you Wuti do past papers a lot but above what counts is the strategy on how you actually do the past paper because like you can't be doing past papers in a way that is ineffective you need to do pass papers in a way that is productive in a way that works for you of course not every way will work for you but you know when the time goes by you will find your niche so for me in the way in which i used amapas paper it was working for me and you know what was that way you want the way so i mean i'd actually um focus on a topic for say if i'm focusing on stats it's going to be stats for the whole week i wouldn't make some topics and do the whole paper of which when i find it when i do the whole paper and just mark myself and pass by it was ineffective but then when i i did my past papers i'd do them according to topics mark myself mark things that i know which they are prone to be asked in questions because you know what you will do a lot of past papers and if you just don't time yourself if you don't um actually yeah just time yourself and actually realize which way you're liking you will never go for it so for me it was actually doing those uh monitoring what's okay i'm liking in this topic and then i'll focus on it yeah all right all right physics hey physics yeah it showed me flames i don't want to lie but yeah we ended up with the 97 it means we did some job yeah for physics a same applies, pass papers, you know. But then for physics, I knew Wuti. In part of physics, when there's content, and then you go to your calculations and all of that stuff. So, Mina, what I did was, when the year of grade 11 ended, I focused on content, you know.
I made sure Wuti understand what do they mean when they say momentum. I made sure Wuti... the topics that we did in grade 11 i mastered them like i mastered them especially um in newton's laws citizen bases electrostatics i knew they carry on into grade 12. so i didn't waste time in the show which i master all those steps and you know just actually studying to understand because i this this is what i realized but it was later for me when i actually studied to understand things they wouldn't sleep out of my mind easily rather than just studying you know to claim and to pass because i didn't have to waste time to do notes for finals because i had already understood the content it was just me overviewing the content and actually making sure i understand everything and yeah just polishing cc up polish engine in finals as fung okay yeah life science man Yeah, you know, I'm a life scientist.
How did you start in life science? So, I loved life science a lot. I can't lie and I just can't take that away from me.
And then, I knew life science, they ask the exact same questions. Those six marks questions, they don't change. They keep them the same way.
DNA replication, you will always find it there. If they don't ask a replication, they will ask you the transcription or the translation. So that was claiming for me.
Because in life science, everything that you need to know is on the textbook. They will never ask you anything about that, you know. And for me, it was also using a resource that is actually in time with my examiners. So for me, I was using an exam paper, you know, and it was provided to me by my teacher.
So I was using the exam paper. And then, yeah. Exam paper, you know.
exam fever it's an exam guide it's some some sort of an exam guideline with notes yeah for a life scientist so everything that i needed to know for life scientists it was just me going over the book not obvious some especially with life scientists it content it gave it gets um outdated and they updated over and over again so it was just me focusing on that and make sure that i keep in touch with the examination guidelines and the atp that is what i did for life sciences initially past papers all right languages yeah languages so i'll start with paper three because that is where people run away from yeah but they think languages are easy like a paper three you just go there and freestyle and well so what i actually did for my languages is that i went home i looked at the past papers i saw what's okay In languages, for essays, this is what they like to ask. And you will always find a topic that relates to another topic in another past paper. So I realized it's okay.
This topic is most relatable to Wongama topic they actually ask for past paper. So I went there, I wrote my own essay. After writing my own essays, I took them to my teachers, they reviewed, fixed the mistakes that I had.
I went back, I did my second draft, I added what I had to, and then I wrote the exact same essay, unfortunately, and it gave me good marks. Yeah, and then for paper one, you know, with paper one from grade 10 to grade 12, it's the same thing. It doesn't change.
The level of difficulty remains the same. So for me, I wasn't focusing on paper one. Paper two, I'm going to take that one, because I knew, if I can remove paper two.
out of my way i'll have more time to focus on our content-based subjects such as e-life scientists geo and your physical scientists and also give more time to that okay okay okay what motivated you to continue before we go there you must ask how do you attack your your exams people purchase they do whatever they read but what makes you what may what helps you to make sure that In that examination, you collect marks. So, I'd actually start with the question that I feel very, very, what do you call this, comfortable. And yeah, I'd actually start with that question, the question that I feel like I am most prone to get a total for it. So for math, I usually started with question 11 or 10. especially in paper too, because I knew UGUTI. If I can start with the UCDN, of which it requires a high level of thinking and it has a high level of difficulty, I knew UGUTI when I get into into an exam group.
It's nine o'clock, my mind is still fresh, I can actually tackle questions that I feel like they're going to be a challenge. And as I move forward, it really made the way easier because seeing about my UGUTI, I'm coming very close to... are my questions that are very easy and that is why I didn't get frustrated in an examination question paper because most of the time you'd find wooty people will start with the easy questions and the ingondoya abulapo is also stimulated so they still have a lot of energy their mind is you know well intact so they go they do the easy questions first and then they are very tired they have now they have to focus on eucd and off which is the last question now they can't think they can't comprehend our sawa bonama angels so for me that worked in my advantage wootie let me start with the question that i feel which i am comfortable and i feel like you know when you remove a hard things early it actually gives you more time to focus on the other things guys start with the questions that you are comfortable with but also know which ones and give because in ukrainian if you forgot an angle you can't find it in the last 30 minutes just forget about the question you know you really want to remember because you know examiners are very smart and that was actually one another thing that actually made me to realize it's okay this is how examiners work I feel like in the labinginza ngayama question paper, it made me feel like an examiner in a way. Because like some days I just predicted the question paper and it actually came out exactly as I predicted.
So no past papers. You must learn the examer style. Yeah. Before we close, man, what kept you moving? What is it that one thing that even if you felt like you want to give up, you want to sleep, but you know, there was this thing that says, no, man, continue, continue.
Yeah, for me, what kept me moving was actually my home situation. my background, you know, just growing up in a family that is actually financially unstable. So I knew, I can't relax.
I don't have time to relax. I can't just let my family down because I knew if I don't do it, somebody else will do it for me and it's not going to be nice. So yeah, my background really motivated me and actually my passion also motivated me.
Did you decide to study at the University of Cape Town? So I decided to study medicine at the University of Cape Town. And yeah, I've been hearing a lot, and now I know what it is.
Medicine at the UCT, it's so overrated. And for me, I just didn't follow that because of the overration and maybe getting the degree because of financial stability, because of the status. You know, for me, it was actually real. passion you know and I knew I'm coming here at UCT for a real degree a serious course I guess yeah and the reason I could have gone to VET because I was given a Vice Chancellor scholarship there could have gone to UP same day but then I came to UCT because I actually wanted to do the intercalated program so I want to venture into research innovation and research so that is why I came to UCT Innovation and research.
Guys, do your research, guys. Look at them. These are millions, hundreds of thousands. Metric 2025, what can you say to them? Just look at them.
Yeah, what I can say to you? The metric of 2025, it's that like everything that you put your mind into, it will eventually come out of the dream space into reality. It doesn't matter where you come from. doesn't matter the situation, you know, just don't use your second stint as an excuse as to why you're not performing exceptionally. And of course, at Iwo Tsu Onge, we are academically gifted, you know, but it actually had to work really pays guys it really pays don't stand in your corner consulting with people who are actually knowing that information go to those people or they find out what is going on get those class papers get into those groups guys there are google drives that are actually a running around get them if you don't look for resources resources will never come to you and yeah all the best guys it's actually doable and then Watch this channel.
Watch the Give Capacity TV. You're going to get the motivation there. Because I actually also got my motivation from Abonum Fundo, Abomoyle, etc.
So there's a lot of work that you have to put in. We're here on Give Capacity TV. Yeah.
So just know it's doable. There's a lot of work. Actually, you're going to come across difficulties. You're going to lose faith along the way.
way you're gonna lose your path just know what in everything that you do you just keep the faith intact it doesn't matter what you are a believer it doesn't matter what you are following a different tradition if you are praying stick to praying and pray harder because it's gonna get hard in your trip you know yeah thank you so much um guys you know that this channel i just bring only the best i'm inspired and i also know you're inspired don't forget to like leave a nice comment and subscribe let's get to let's get one million views here thank you
