hello everyone and welcome back to my channel so today I was thinking we can continue our series about different feminine archetypes and today I was thinking we can talk about the sage which has also been requested and this Sage is interesting in a sense for me because I'm also a sage I've gotten that as a result on my test but I'm super excited so I love the sage as an archetype the sage is one of the seven Main feminine archetypes so it's a little bit different from the 13 feminine archetypes that I've talked about previously there's Carl Young and Aisha K finds has definitely gotten a lot of her understanding from it as well and the sage is interesting in a sense that it's apparently one of the rarest ones of the feminine archetypes so it might be a little bit more difficult to tap in for a lot of people but essentially the sage is about knowledge it's an archetype that that values intelligence logic objectivity so think of the person in your life that is able to be so objective and logical in their thinking and they have such a critical thinking that they're able to see past all of the emotional decisions and they're able to look at the bigger pictures and stuff that's the sage archetype so I was thinking the best person to use as an example of a perfect Sage archetype is alal Clooney actually um when I first looked into the sage she was the first one to pop up a lot so Amal Clooney is a British leonese bur she works with law and she's done a lot of humanitarian rights work and international law she's been on cases for people such as Julian Assange she's been on cases for human rights activists and journalists all around the world who's needed some form of help so she's been very active in that role she's been in so many International courts and she's really been driven when it comes to Justice and Seeking Justice for people that are very in very vulnerable positions in life for a lot of people she's mostly known as George Clooney's wife but make no mistake Amal Clooney is extremely talented in her own right she has made and established her own name and she's worked really hard to have a really incredible Legacy and the first thing about the sage including Amal Clooney is the fact that they are very curious people so this type of archetype values curiosity they're always wanting to seek truth and they want to understand how things work and just how big the world is and how much we can learn and realizing that should make us curious to want to learn more no matter how old you are you realize there are so many things that you don't know and I think actually the older you get the more you realize there's even more out there and it's impossible to know everything so to have that curiosity is really important because you never stop wanting to evolve you never stop wanting to just expand as a person and that's why the curiosity is really important in all of us and when we're kids we have so much curiosity but I see that die a lot as older as we get I don't know maybe it's because we get more pessimistic as we grow older cuz we realize just how how dark things can be in the world but by keeping that Curiosity alive within us I think that can really help us to seek truth and want to understand things and want to change things that we don't like so having that Curiosity makes us more aware and wanting to learn more and I think that's definitely something we can see in Amal Clooney she's specialized in so many different fields like she's specialized in human rights international law she's trilingual she's taught at Columbia University she went to Oxford University herself so she's definitely expanded her mind in very different ways and she's seems throughout her career to have expanded her mind wanted to learn seek different fields and wanting to really put in that work to just understand things and how laws work and how to help people and take up cases for people who need it the most and I think that's definitely something we can take in within ourselves as well curiosity is such a good trait to have because if you have that you will never stay still in life you'll always be able to expand your mind so the next thing with the sage is critical thinking um adapting critical thinking is I think one of the most important things we can do in this world because because there's so much information given to us in such a rapid way as well so being able to have that you know how do I say this like this tunnel vision I guess if you're able to just see through all of the unnecessary noise and unnecessary information and actually see what matters and what's actually make sense to you I think you're able to make more decisions that you're happy with because especially as women I think we get all of this noise all the time it can be from from our friends from Family from society in general giving us all of these different ideas of who we should be what we should do but I think if we kind of like train that critical thinking in our minds we're able to see what really matters and what really doesn't we're also able to take account what we feel and think which I think is the most important thing in life is what do I want what what makes me happy and from then on you can make your decision without having so many influences and for instance critical thinking in relationships is really important um when you first meet someone our emotional side come out maybe maybe we get this great impression from this person and we kind of get Smitten by them and think that they're the one for us but if we let our critical thinking kind of take over we realize that no actually I don't really know this person I've only met them a few situations they might have like this whole other persona that I don't know about let me just sit and really like dissect who this person is and let my critical thinking um take take the driver's seat and what do I really think about this person if we set aside what my just initial reactions are and I think a lot of people can benefit from just like actually just sitting with your thoughts a little bit before you make decisions um I think in that sense you can really see how your decision making becomes better like they become more improved so yeah critical thinking I think is really important for the sage and also valuing just knowledge in general uh that is huge for the sage um archetype knowledge is key to them knowing things is so important you can know about so many different things and it's still won't be enough but having a certain knowledge gives you Assets in life it makes you more Val valuable in the job market whatever Market you want to be in but just having knowledge about things make you more aware alert and interesting to other people as well um knowledge is truly power so definitely value that don't dismiss it ignorant is of course Bliss but I think in the long run having enough knowledge and wanting to learn about the world and how it works is really going to benefit you and what type of decision decs you decide to take so even if that just it doesn't mean you have to take up a whole new language and learn it in a few weeks but like just by starting to read the news every morning just there right there you'll become so informed and learn about things that happen and it's going to make you aware of what decisions you want to make yourself and Amal Clooney seems extremely knowledgeable as a woman as I said before she has a great career she's already established herself is a very respectable lawyer she's been in high uh profile cases and really shows that she's not afraid to step up and really fight for their rights and that can only be done by somebody that believes that they have enough knowledge to do that so definitely take that in mind if you want to tap into that Sage archetype and also next one is um for the sage make decisions that make sense to you regardless of what other people's perceptions are so one thing Amal cloney says which I love is she said be courageous challenge authority and stand up for what you believe in those are quotes from her and I think that kind of also sums up a little of the stage archetype is be courageous with your decisions um if you made a decision and you believe in it don't feel like you have to second guess it because other people are people most of the time um don't really understand us especially if you have a sense of yourself and you know what you want in life people have a tendency to think that they know more for you and some of they can be really well intentioned but at the end of the day you're the one that have to sit with your own decisions the only one you have to blame for your decisions in life is yourself and a part of that is going to feel really bad if you feel like you've only made decisions to make other people happy or because you've been listening to other people and been easily influ infuenced just instead just sit down with yourself and really be sure of your decisions stick to them and even if they're not good or they haven't gone the way that you wanted them to it's always a learning opportunity to expand and become better so don't be scared of making mistakes either just make your decisions um don't look for validation don't listen to people that don't understand it and you will feel so secure in yourself as a as a person once you start doing that next with the sage is maturity um the sage is kind of looked at as a really wise type of archetype she has a lot of knowledge as I said before but she seems like she just effortlessly understands how to be mature in every situation because of how wise she is naturally so I would take this as try to be mature in any situation you are whether it's in friendships relationships breakups uh job situations try your best to always take mature decisions because it's really nice to look back on your life and and your decisions and say that you did it in a very classy way in a very mature way that is a legacy that you can really look back on and be proud on even as older as you get that's something you can tell your future kids and be proud of even if you don't have kids it's just something really nice and really classy to look back on I would truly believe that if people in the world if everyone valued being mature in the world the world would just be a better place because people would actually treat people with respect and those are things that unfortunately I feel like are getting less and less important but try to be that different try to be mature as much as you can Amal Clooney said that she met George Clooney when she was 35 years old and started to become quite resigned to the idea that she was going to be a spinster and if you don't know what a spinster means and it's it's like a slang it's a British slang for a person over a certain age that's not married specifically a woman that's not unmarried at an older age and uh obviously it was like a cute quote because she was trying to say that she was you know um okay with the fact that she was not going to meet anyone until she met George which is cute but another way to look at it as well is she was really settled and completely at peace with the fact that she would not be married at a certain age and that takes a lot of self assurance and confidence and strength to be at peace with that and not feel like you are dismissed in society because trust and believe Society will give you names and definitely will tell you that there's something wrong with you and make you feel like that way especially if you're at at a a certain age and you haven't fulfilled those traditional criterias but I love the fact that Amal cloney seems to be so in tune with that mature and wise side of herself where it's at so at peace and not scared of that fact of becoming uh something considered uh a spinster a person that's unmarried she has accomplished so much of course she shouldn't care about something like that that's just society and people being silly so once you see the bigger picture of things like that way I think maturity will come easily and then the stage
