Exploring Africa's Spiritual and Historical Promises

Africa. The land of milk and honey. Africa has a rich history and deep spiritual connection to the Israelites. The land which many believe to be the land of Yahuwah has experienced colonization, division, and numerous conflicts. Its people have been stolen from their homeland, and the land itself has been ravaged. Yet, according to the scriptures, there is a promise of redemption and restoration for the children of Israel. who have endured unimaginable hardships. Today, we will discover the truth about the land of Africa and the divine promise of restoration for its people. The prophetic history of Africa. From ancient times, Africa has been a land of abundance. In Genesis 2 verses 10 to 13, the Garden of Eden, often associated with the region near the Nile River in Africa, is described as being filled with gold, delium, and onyx stone. This region's rich resources have always been coveted, leading to the colonization and exploitation by foreign powers. Moreover, Africa's significance is highlighted in the story of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. In 1 Kings 10 verses 1-2, the Queen of Sheba visits Solomon, bringing with her gold, spices, and precious stones, further emphasizing Africa's wealth and its connection to the wisdom and blessings of Yahuwah. The transatlantic slave trade echoed the ancient prophecies of Israel's suffering and displacement, the suffering and scattering of the Israelites. The history of the Israelites is marked by suffering and displacement. Deuteronomy 28 verse 68 foretells the scattering of the Israelites, and Yahuwah will take you back to Egypt, which means bondage and ships, by the way of which I said to you, you shall never see it again. And there you shall be offered for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you, meaning no one will save you from it. This prophecy has manifested in the transatlantic slave trade, where millions of Africans, who are the descendants of the ancient Israelites, they were forcibly taken to distant lands and sold into slavery. The suffering of the Israelites in Egypt and this captivity are a continuation of their bondage due to disobedience and are enduring challenges faced by Yahuwah's people. Psalm 137 verses 1 to 4 pointedly captures the sorrow of exile. By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yeah, we wept when we remembered Zion. We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it, for there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song. And those who plundered us requested mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing Yahuwah's song in a foreign land? Even amidst global deceit and sorcery, divine protection over Israel is assured. The nations attempts to destroy the Israelites. In the last days, the nations will seek to destroy the Israelites using all kinds of sorceries and deceit. Revelation 18 verse 23 speaks of this deception, For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. Despite these attempts, Yahuwah promises salvation and protection for His people. Isaiah 54 verse 17 declares, No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahuwah. and their righteousness is from me, says Yahuwah. Ephesians 6 verse 12 reminds us of the spiritual nature of this battle, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. This verse underscores the spiritual warfare that the Israelites face and the divine protection promised to them. Psalms 83 reveals the ancient conspiracy against Israel and the call for divine justice. The plot of the nations, Psalms 83. Psalms 83 provides a detailed account of the intentions of the nations against Israel. It is a prayer for help against those who conspire against Yahuwah's people. The psalmist writes in Psalms 83 verses 2 to 4, For behold, your enemies make a tunneled. and those who hate you have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted together against your hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more. This conspiracy reflects the enduring enmity against the Israelites, aimed at their complete destruction. Yet, the psalm ends with a call for divine intervention and justice, as seen in Psalms 83 verses 17-18, Let them be confounded and dismayed forever, yes, let them be put to shame and perish, that they may know that you, whose name alone is Yahuwah, are the most high over all the earth. The Fall of Edom and the Rise of Jacob A prophecy of divine justice and triumph. The end of Esau and Edom. The scriptures also speak of the end of Esau and Edom and the rise of Jacob, signifying the ultimate triumph of the Israelites. In Obadiah 1 verse 18, we read, The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame. But the house of Esau shall be stubble. They shall kindle them and devour them, and no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau. For Yahuwah has spoken. This verse highlights the destruction of Esau's descendants and the rise of Jacob's lineage. Malachi 1 verse 4 reinforces this, stating, Even though Edom has said, We have been impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places. Thus says Yahuwah of hosts, They may build, but I will throw down. They shall be called the territory of wickedness, and the people against whom Yahuwah will have indignation forever. Amid global conflict over Africa's resources, Yahuwah's promise of restoration for Israel shines brightly. The nations gather in the land of Yahuwah. In the last days we expect that the nations will seek to control Africa with its vast land and wealth. The struggle for control of Africa's resources, oil, minerals, and land could ignite tensions among the world's superpowers. These conflicts are driven by greed and power. Yet, amidst the chaos, there is a glimmer of hope for the Israelites. The Bible foretells a time of restoration and renewal for Yahuwah's chosen people. The prophets spoke of a new world where the Israelites would return to their ancestral land, free from oppression and suffering. This new world is not merely a geographical location, but a divine promise of peace, justice, and righteousness. As nations clash and world powers vie for dominance, the Israelites are called to stand firm in their faith. The promise of Yahuwah's protection and guidance offers a beacon of hope. The scriptures remind us that Yahuwah is sovereign over all nations and that his plans will ultimately prevail. When Israel turns back to Yahuwah, divine healing and restoration will follow. When the children of Israel turn back to Yahuwah, he will heal them and their land. 2nd Chronicles 7 verse 14 provides a profound promise. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. This turning back is echoed in Jeremiah 24 verse 7. Then I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahuwah, and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim, for they shall return to me with their whole heart. The return to Yahuwah and His commandments will usher in a period of healing and restoration, not only for the people but for the land of Africa itself. Ezekiel 36 verses 24-28 also speaks of this restoration. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you will keep my judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You shall be my people, and I will be your Elohim, trusting in Yahuwah's plan for His people. Trusting in Yahuwah's plan means having faith that He has a purpose for each individual and for His people as a whole, and that this purpose is ultimately for good, even when circumstances seem challenging. This trust is rooted in the belief that Yahuwah is sovereign, wise, and loving. Isaiah 46 verse 10 states, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. Emphasizing His Ultimate Authority and Control, Proverbs 3 verses 5 to 6 advises, Trust in Yahuwah with all your heart and soul, and trust in Him with all your heart and soul. heart, and lean not on your own understanding, and all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. This means relying on his greater wisdom rather than our limited perspective. The oppressors of Israel will face divine retribution for their sins against the children of Israel, as promised by Yahuwah. The wrath of Yahuwah on the oppressors. The nations that have oppressed the Israelites will face the wrath of Yahuwah. Isaiah 14 verses 1 to 2 says, For Yahuwah will have mercy on Jacob, and will still choose Israel, and settle them in their own land. The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob. Then people will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them for servants and maids in the land of Yahuwah. They will take them captive whose captives they were, and rule over their oppressors. This theme is reiterated in Jeremiah 30 verse 16. Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured, and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity. Those who plunder you shall become plunder, and all who prey upon you I will make a prey. Yahuwah's justice will prevail, and the oppressors will face retribution for their actions. Psalm 149 verses 6 to 9 speaks of the triumph of the righteous. Let the high praises of Yahuwah be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples, to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute on them the written judgment. This honor have all the saints. Praise Yahuwah! The story of Africa and its people is one of pain and promise. The scriptures provide a narrative of hope, where the children of Israel once scattered and oppressed, will be gathered and restored. Yahuwah's judgment will come upon those who have oppressed His people, and His mercy will bring healing and restoration. As we reflect on these promises, we are reminded of the enduring faithfulness of Yahuwah and the hope that lies in turning back to Him. May the words of the Prophet Hosea be a reminder. Come, let us return to Yahuwah, for He is torn, but He will heal us, He is stricken. But He will bind us up. Hosea 6 verse 1. The vision of a restored and healed Africa, where the children of Israel return to their heritage, is not merely a distant dream but a divine promise rooted in scripture. As we witness the unfolding of these prophetic events, we are called to trust in Yahuwah's plan and seek His face, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His word. May your name be glorified in all the earth. Thank you Father for the gift of life. Hallelujah. In the name of the Holy One of Israel, the Messiah, Amen. Father, Amen.
