there are 2,717 different types of aquatic creatures in Minecraft with 2700 of those being unique types of tropical fish and as some offbrand Teletubbies on the internet would have you believe collecting all 2700 of them is the ultimate hardcore challenge but I'm here to tell you it's not it's actually really really easy at least I think it's easy I haven't actually done it yet but I have faith in my abilities so much faith in fact that I'm not only going to collect every single type of fish in the game but I'm also going to collect every single creature including the super rare blue xelot frogs Turtles Dolphins salmon Cod puer squid glow squid Guardians and the ardian and since we're already behaving like the British Empire I'm going to build a massive beautiful aquarium with thousands of custom exhibits to keep all of my new friends in a happy watery home now the first question you're probably asking yourself is how the heck am I supposed to find every single one of the 2700 unique types of fish just swimming around in the freaking ocean well let me introduce you to some intelligence you see tropical fish are only found in five biomes the three different warm oceans Lush caves and mangrove swamps and while finding these little buggers swimming around in the middle of the sea isn't the hardest thing to do the real challenge comes with how many different types there are first off tropical fish come in two different sizes large fish and small fish then within each size there's six different patterns they can have there's Flopper glitter Betty stripey blockfish and clayfish for the large sizes and Brinley snooper sunre Dasher spotty and cob for the small fish then each pattern has a base color choosing from one of the 16 different Minecraft colors mine is black because apparently Mojang is racist and then it picks from those 15 colors again to decide what color its pattern will be add that all together and you get 2700 unique fish but not all fish are equal because Mojang has decided to give 22 of these fish a special and unique name not only that but these 22 fish also have a massively increased spawning chance meaning that anytime a fish spawns it has a 90% chance of being one of these 22 fish with the remaining 2678 variants all having to share the remaining 10% which makes them very very rare so how would one go about capturing them you might think that the best way to do it is to Simply go fishing but that only gets you a bunch of generic dead fish which isn't what we want the only way to actually collect the fish is by using buckets now the first thought on how to automate something like this is to use dispensers and while dispensers can place down a tropical fish they can never pick it up which isn't very helpful that means the only way to get them is for the player to physically pick them up with a bucket now I don't know if you're any good at math but if you wanted to get one specific fish you would have to catch about 27,000 fish and that's only if you wanted to find one and we want all of them so then how is it even possible to collect them all well that's where my big brain comes in you see the key to capturing these little buggers isn't about swimming around in the oceans at all it's about Lush caves and a few features about spawning mechanics so if we just pick up a few materials like glass Redstone beacons shulkers and a buttload of buckets we should have everything we need need to build a little something that I like to call the Fish catcher 6,000 sorry now the first thing we need to obviously do is find a lush cave and I did notice while building my iron Beacon that there are a few aelia trees right over here in this Mesa and where there's aelia trees there are also Lush caves and this cave here looks just big enough to fit my farm in but uh I'm going to need to clear out some space first now I could mine this all up by hand or or yeah I like this plan much better now while launched while you download the game using the QR code we also need to head back underground and delete any water sources in the area you see the reason this Farm is going to works so well is because the unique spawning mechanics inherent to Lush caves you've probably heard of something called the mob cap but Minecraft actually has eight different mob caps that each serve a different type of creature tropical fish are a part of a water ambient cap but this cap also includes things like cods salmon and puffer fish this means if you were to swim around in the ocean you would have a bunch of annoying puffer fish filling up the mob cap and constantly trying to poison you but down here in the Lush caves none of those other fish are allowed to spawn which means 100% of the water ambient mob cap will be made up of tropical fish but even if that's the case we still don't want to have to swim around looking for hundreds of thousands of fish which is why we're going to make the fish come to us the first step in making that happen is removing all the water sources in the area so they can only spawn where we want them to and now that that's done we just need to clear some room to build our own water [Music] tank uh hm well I guess back to the old fashioned way by building this water tank we can ensure that the only place fish can spawn is inside of it and by placing Soul stand at the bottom we can force all the fish up to the top then with these Pistons we can funnel the fish into a small area right at the top for the player to collect from now there's another issue I haven't really mentioned yet and that is that fish tend to spawn in groups of eight of the exact same kind and since we only want one of each of them that would mean we have to sort through up to eight times as many fish to find all the unique ones and believe me hundreds of thousands of fish is already more than enough to deal with we don't want to make it Millions but luckily I found a way to solve that issue and that's because in these bubble columns fish can't actually spawn which I know sounds like it completely defeats the purpose but hear me out you see if we connect a bunch of sticky pistons at the bottom that are all set to trigger at different times for a brief second some of the bubble columns will turn into regular water where fish can spawn but since we're only activating one or two columns at a time the game can't find enough space to spawn an entire school of fish and instead only spawns one and this is how we reduce the amount of duplicate fish that we can get up to by eight times so now if I stand in this little spot all the fish will be push right up in front of the player ready to be collected but now we have to figure out how I'm going to hold hundreds of thousands of buckets of fish that don't even stack and manage to sort them without losing track of even a single one huh easy first we get hundreds of shulkers full of iron buckets from our iron farm then build a shulker block un loader to pull them out one by one into an automatic water bucket filler that will send the full buckets of water all the way up to this dropper so now we can build another Hopper Line running the other way with a comparator running out of it into the dropper this way when the player collects a fish they don't want they can just throw it out of their hand to be picked up by the hopper line the comparator will then notice the item passing through and Trigger The Dropper to give the player a fresh bucket of water but of course we don't just want to delete the fish since we're still going to need thousands of them to breed that blue ax a lot later on so we can just run that Hopper line into a shulker box sorder hooked up to a big old storage block and Bam we got oxalato food for days and then the last thing we need to figure out is how to track sort and organize all 2700 unique fish and that's not going to be easy like take this for example in this tank there are 13 tropical fish 11 of them are completely unique but two of them are exactly the same can you figure out which one is which yeah me neither and I don't want to have to play this game with 2700 different fish while my game runs at 2 frames per second but luckily for me if I hit F3 plus h it will enable Minecraft's tool tips which will allow me to see exactly what kind of fish are in my inventory but that's still leaves the question how am I supposed to figure out if I've caught in every single fish well for the jamiles among you that don't believe anything you get to watch my VOD Channel and sort through the hundreds of hours of footage to count every single fish I pick up but for the rest of you non holigans we're going to use this nice little resource pack called tropical fish collection which will add advancements for every single type of fish so now when I collect a fish for the first time you can see the advancement get completed and easily keep track of how many I've caught and now that we've surely solved every possible issue we could run into all we have to do is stand here pick up a fish rename it in my giant Tower of anvils and sort it into my lovely rainbow shulker boxes and then we do it again and again and again and again and again and get um was that not a new one huh I swear I haven't gotten this one yet it's a Dasher where is Dasher I have no Dasher can I pick it up again what the heck is wrong with this thing please don't tell me this thing isn't going to work okay so it seems that these Dasher fish won't work for some reason so I guess we'll just shove you into a box and leave you in the corner like I do with every other problem in my life I don't want to deal with but aside from that minor concern we can go back to collecting fish okay wait a minute now I do have a Dasher it's this cyan and pink one but that's not what you were right no you were light gray and black where is light gray and black wait a second black isn't supposed to exist oh no if I installed something I'm not supposed to ah I have discovered something so it turns out I didn't break my world un like I usually do but instead Mojang did it so remember when I told you the Blackfish aren't supposed to exist well they're not but I found this bug report showing that back in 1 Point 19.3 Mojang made a mistake in their code the code used to select a random number between 1 and 15 which was then converted into one of the 15 colors but in 1.9.3 they changed it to instead pull a random selection from their standard color array which they must have forgotten includes black which now means there are hundreds of glitched fish out there that I could just ignore because they shouldn't really exist but I mean come on you really expect me to take the easy way out you think I'm a sane and rational person please all this means is the number of unique fish we need to catch just went up from 2700 to 3,072 which well that means it's going to take a lot longer so for now I'll keep any black fish I find in this shulker and I'll make sure to get the resource pack updated so they actually appear in the advancements but until that happens it's back to [Music] fishing and I'm out of XP levels huh kind of overlooked the fact that naming all of them would use up so many levels but hey that's what we have the gold farm for oh all right these levels should be good enough for now let's go get some more [Music] fishies and I'm out again now last it all of a few minutes okay so this is actually getting kind of problematic the farm is working amazingly I'm getting a new fish like every 10 seconds or so which is really fast except that also means I use up an XP level every 10 seconds which isn't that good and even though my gold Farm is decent getting experience it takes like half an hour to fly back and forth which basically means I'm spending more time getting experience than I am getting fish so yeah that's not ideal but I have a thought I know I have this skeleton spawner really close by here that I used for bone meal a little while ago but if I instead use it for XP it won't be as fast as a gold Farm but I won't have to fly anywhere so hopefully it ends up being faster in the long run ah here it is all right so I think if I try to make this a little bit more efficient and maybe build a quick bubble elevator to get in and out or something just to make it a bit more convenient all right boom new XP farm let's hope this is faster it uh it wasn't faster I've spent I think 13 hours or so by now collecting fish and I've only gotten about 260 well plus these three black ones that aren't actually supposed to exist which is still way less than I thought I'd have by now the farm is still working great but this XP thing is definitely not working very well now do I actually need to name every single fish I collect no absolutely not it's completely unnecessary but I do really want to do it because when we eventually build the giant aquarium place for them we'll be able to see what kind of fish they are by just looking at them and not having to play that stupid guessing game every time however I have no idea what to do about this I've been looking up fast XP methods like Enderman Farms larger gold farms and Guardians whatever I even consider the insane God particle thing but the problem is they're all a major hassle to build and probably not worth the time and door they have to build really far away which means flying back and forth and that takes a lot of time the main problem is that experience isn't linear in Minecraft so while we're going from 1 to 100 isn't that hard going from 100 to 200 is a lot more work and since I need over 3,000 levels to pull this off I don't want to fly to the end Dimension every 30 minutes just to restock but I have one last idea it's time to pull out my secret weapon my Ace in the Hole the greatest biggest brain play any YouTuber has ever attempted I'm calling my roommate [Music] well it seems like my plan has been foiled all right now that I have a genius plan that I totally came up with myself let's go collect the supplies for it first we need to head over to our iron farm and grab a bunch of iron that we can trade for emeralds then we just need to head over to our end portal now XP bottles do cost like three emeralds a piece so I'm thinking maybe we can find a way to improve those prices to do that let's find ourselves a professional negotiator now we just have to lure this man over to our magical hole and maybe we'll just grab another one for good measure and now we can just watch them go down into the little space hole actually this guy is much better dressed I think I like him more we all know how much First Impressions matter got to make sure you li the part in you go all right let's get you guys in a boat H I guess you will no longer be necessary all right holy man I think it's time we have a chat let's just get you a little privacy over here and we'll bring over our well-dressed businessmen for a nice little conversation yep just right in here should be good sir now I'll leave you two in here to discuss the prices wow look at that what a successful negotiation let's get you Spruce back up and ready for some trading first we got to turn all these iron and gets into emeralds then we just turn those emeralds into experience bottles and we just keep doing this for about 6 hours or so ooh that wasn't supposed to happen don't don't look over here Mr cleric nothing to see here just um it seems that our other villager has decided to retire yep don't be concerned at all sir it's absolutely nothing dangerous about trading with me sure you'll be perfectly safe I guess we'll just use up the rest of these emeralds on a few more bottles and that's the last of my emeralds all right well hopefully that should be enough for the rest of the 3,000 fish let's get this all back to the fish farm you know I just realized that also gave me 142 more levels I didn't know villagers were such a good way of getting XP I mean these are all going to be gone in like 2 seconds due to my new fish Obsession but normally this is a good amount of XP actually I'm kind of curious how quickly can I burn through this many [Music] levels and that's the last one so that was 142 levels in a little over 2 hours that is such a waste but now if I collect one more fish oh no what am I going to do I'm out of levels well good thing I installed this um just excuse me for one moment oh no I'm out of levels what will I do good thing I installed this button oh wow one whole level just what I needed now I can go back to fishing for a few hundred more [Music] hours I've been fishing for 30 hours and I think my brain is starting to rot but we've now collected 850 of the tropical fish now at this point I think it's time we start to gather some of the other 17 aquatic creatures we' want to put in the museum wait no not a museum what is the Matt what's the water version of Museum called aquarium right the uh the aquarium man I need to take a nap my brain is so broken from these stupid fish all right I'm back as I was saying we need to collect the other 17 ocean creatures to put in a giant aquarium we're going to build and I know 17 might sound easy compared to the 3,000 or so whatever tropical fish but believe me they're not so let's start by gathering the five types of aelott which includes that incredibly rare blue aelott that can only be made through a 8% breeding chance possibly making it the hardest mob to obtain in the game the other four can be found naturally and if I remember correctly I'm pretty sure we actually might have one back at the base that is if I can remember where I put the little guy ah there it is now that's what you call Prime organization so this is Jeffrey my name is Jeff and as you can see he's one of the four most common types of axolot which means we still need to go hunting for the yellow brown and pink ones before we can start breeding the ultra rare blue variants now the best place to find oxal is going to be in Lush caves except not the Lush cave where I have the fish farm because we kind of removed all the water from that one so they can't spawn but luckily Lush caves aren't that hard to find all we got to do is find some more of those aelia trees popping out of the ground oh my gosh did I seriously forget my Ender Chest somewhere all right guess we have to go all the way back to the base oh there's a lush cave right there well would you look at that yep that's right I totally planned this now I just need to go back to the base and get my Ender Chest that I totally forgot on purpose so I could find this cave and then we can come back and get some oxyt I see one oh so this is Mr Pink boy here and that's two out of the four death except this appears to be one of the smallest Lush caves known to mankind so I'm hoping it leads to like a bigger cave somewhere oh looks promising looks promising ah darn it this is the dumbest Lush cave ever all right well due to my inability to find anywhere this Lush cave might go I'm going to attempt the biggest brain strategy oh aha now where is all the water ah there it is come on Jeremy lead me to all your friends hello AEL where are you you know I thought these other ones weren't supposed to be that rare I guess if I just wander around for long enough eventually they'll spawn Axel lles seems more like ax a little I'm funny okay I should keep looking oh a brown one here we go okay so that's three down now we just have to find a yellow one this one looks like poop oh oh that's another pink one wait I have a pink one right yes I do well I'll grab it anyway so Jeffrey can have more friends okay come on you yellow where are you oh here he is here a little boy all right with all the four common ones caught we can proceed to The Next Step which is breeding the rare blue one all right now we just have to go off and find somewhere to build a nice breeding chamber now I kind of want to find somewhere close to the farm here since we're going to need thousands of leftover fish as um breeding incentives is that a lush tree seriously is there a biome right next to the farm I flew all over the map looking for that dumb thing how did I not notice this okay now we just need to find a wide open area to breathe them all together oh okay I I immediately found one good job me now there's a few things that axotal need for breeding one is a big tank of water so they don't just um die and second is about 2400 tropical fish to feed them first let's get to work on building a nice swimming pool ouch and there it is that should do it so now we just have to worry about the baby making process you see the way axelos work is that when you feed tropical fish to two of them they begin the uh um ritual and when they finish their um ritual a baby will pop out and there's a 49.95 183% chance of that baby being the same color as one parent and that same perc chance of being the color of the other parent but then that leaves a 1 in 1200 chance unaccounted for which is the rare time that the child could just completely ignore its genetics and decide to become something else entirely blue why it decided that was the mutation it wanted to create I have no idea but you see that leaves a problem it takes the parents 5 minutes or so to um recover their stamina or 20 minutes for the children to um join their parents in the mating ritual you know I'm starting to see why there might be a slight chance of genetic deformity happening here but after you wait the a lot of time you can just try again and again and again and again and again until eventually you have more oxel than you can count or C so if you do get a blue one you probably won't even be able to spot it now I just got to keep doing this until somebody decides they want to be different or [Music] whatever post editing Nathan here I caught the baby and bred it into many more blue oxel once it grew up of course I'd show you the footage but uh it kind of broke and it looks like this so yeah anyway now that we have the five types of Axel I think we should give them a beautiful new home so they don't have to live in that over overcrowded breeding chamber wow what a beautiful new home they have definitely better than those pesky wide open spaces look the only other option was to leave them in a chest for half the video at least this way they get to swim around a little and watch me catch fish for the next th000 hours before we kidnap ourselves some more friends though we should probably get back to fishing since we still have a ton more to catch you know as I'm sitting here fishing I just realized I never actually explained why I decided to do this entire video in the first place so listen up you little muddy Flappers cuz we got some beef to settle the whole reason we're doing this is because this cotton candy looking fool thought he could say this nonsense and get away with it you know those Minecraft hardcore YouTubers who make those videos like I trapped every mob in Minecraft to proven I'm going to trap every single mob inside of a giant I put every biome under the bedrock in Minecraft it's impossible to build under Bedrock well I have a challenge for you tropical fish have 2,700 unique combinations you want a real challenge hardcore YouTubers get all of them now first of all I'm offended second of all I accept your challenge which is why at the end of this video I've invited canman 18 to my hardcore world to prove once and for all that I okay I'm not actually sure what I'm trying to prove here but I'll think of something point is we're doing this at a Vengeance not because he genuinely had a good video idea and I just wanted to do it but regardless we're just going to going to need a few more fish if we're going to pull this off all right so I may have gathered more than just a few but after another 19 hours of using this machine we are now at 1,500 of the 372 tropical fish that we need and after all that fishing I think I deserve a break so let's move on to capturing the next creature on our list the frogs now frogs come in three different types which each belong to a certain temperature of biome the orange frogs belong in temperate biomes like planes and for Forest but only naturally spawn in swamp biomes the white frogs on the other hand belong to the warm places like savanas and the Nether and spawn naturally in mangr swamps and finally there are the green frogs which belong to the cold biomes like the ice spikes the problem with the green frogs however is that they don't spawn naturally meaning the only way to obtain them is by forcibly dragging kidnapped frogs from other biomes all the way into a frozen Wasteland where we trick them into breeding and a positing their tadpoles into the icy water so the children can grow up to be green cuz that all make sense but in order to do that we first need to capture the other types of frogs so let's go find ourselves some swamps oo this looks like the perfect spot a regular and a mangrove swamp right next to each other which means we should be able to find both the orange and the white frogs here I think I'll check the mangrove swamp first and hopefully we can find oh I see one oh there's a bunch here you know I've never actually seen one before these guys look kind of cool so I guess we probably need some something to move these guys like a lead one moment I'll be back for [Music] you I have returned little this is the worst biome to try and get through though oh dang it Bert stop breaking your lead okay now we got to find the orange ones woo I found one welcome to the crew I will name you beatric meet Bert Greg and Charles you will likely be mating with one of them in the future so probably try and be friendly oh here's another okay I think two is enough for the orange cuz these guys are getting real hard to deal with at this point hey who do we lose oh there he goes oh get back here I see you I'm coming slowly to capture you every time it's this guy it's the same guy he's been trying to escape since the beginning okay so now we got to take these frogs all the way to a cold biome which is probably going to be the worst thing I'm ever going to have to do all right boys let's begin our adventure oh one of the women are escaping oh oh don't you dare be doing it behind the tree okay listen up it has come to my attention that many of you are attempting to break your leads and mate while I'm not looking oh what a cute baby pig oh no an orphan Pig I better take it there it is your breeding ground boys and girls all right now give you a slime give you a slime love one another oh there's their love oh look it's made so many really ugly looking babies oh no oh I see what's happened my man suffocated to death oh there we go all right let's go Squad move [Music] out we've done it all the frogs are back and have a nice little home or at least I think it's a nice little home but I'm pretty sure Bert is already trying to escape so before he does that I think we should build something that's a little bit more permanent for them soon however this video is about catching fish not finding bir at home so is not really a priority right now with that being said we should probably go back to catching more fish because we still have so many more to [Music] get all right we are now at 2,000 fish collected which means I think it's time we finally get to work on the giant aquarium project for Bert and all his friends and of course for the 3,000 fish but more importantly Bert so he doesn't run away now usually when I make massive builds in my world I want them to double as something useful like having a farm inside so since we're going to need tons of prismarine to build this aquarium I'm thinking we just build the aquarium on top of a guardian farm that way we actually have a reason to go there and visit all our little fishies and of course B but that means the first part of this build is going to be to make the farm below it so let's find ourselves an ocean Monument to repurpose for our needs ooh now that one looks like a little bit better there's no land nearby which makes this one perfect this will be a good area for the build because we have tons of room to actually build the aquarium on top of this the first thing we're going to need to do though is exfiltrate some Guardians and then build a guardian farm and then we can build the aquarium I've lost I've lost the temple since we're building an aquarium with all the mobs inside of it we want to capture some of the Elder Guardians and normal Guardians to go inside the aquarium so that means we can't just kill them we have to enslave them and since I don't want the Elder Guardians bugging me all the time we're going to have to bring them over here now how we get them over here is another question so let's build a little little spot here for them now let's get the tracks out so these guys are going to drive into here and then we just need to build a railway to get the Guardians from the temple back to here all right so now that the tracks are here we have to figure out a way to get the Elder Guardians out without dying put a piece of sand here piece of TNT here and then we light the TNT back oh no that was the wrong way to do it now we place the sand light there we go this should do a nice boom boom for us yeah oh I see him flailing in there oh you're not happy to see me okay everyone come everybody come it's time for a new strategy going to use invisibility potions Big chunker Boy number one let's see if we can get this guy moving oh there he goes come on please so I didn't screw something up keep it going keep it going chalky boy just don't die on my redstone blocks I'll be so mad nice nice nice nice one man out this one should be a lot easier yeah there we go this is how the first one should have been all right now that we have the Elder Guardians put away we need to collect some of the normal why is there a m carart going that way hey friend just go right there oh yeah baby uh-oh uh-oh yeah there we go yeah we like to see it we like uh-oh y yeah do my job for oh dang it there we go there we go ain't got nothing on me now that the Guardians are safely to the side and no longer giving us money fatigue we can get started on building the guardian Farm which I'm going to break down into three main Steps step one we're going to need to drain the monument and the surrounding area to prevent any unwanted mobs from spawning then we need to replace the monument with a bunch of specially designed portals that will instantly funnel the Guardians into The Nether which is where we need to build step three a very Humane killing chamber equipped with an item collection system to restor the remains of thousands and thousands of Guardians that we're going to have to kill now the first problem I'm running into is we need to remove tons of water out of the middle of the ocean that's not exactly going to be easy but I have a strategy that might make this work but to test it we're going to need a bit of redstone some sponges and a lot I mean a lot of sand while we're Gathering the sand though we should probably get the rest of the supplies needed to build the farm itself mainly thousands of obsidian and glass thankfully we do have an obsidian mining farm at our concrete Farm but this is still going to take a long time a long time later all right now that we've collected all the supplies we can actually start getting rid of the water first we need to build this simple machine called the falling block Placer now if I stand here and place a piece of sand it should fall to the bottom but it should also yeah there we go it moves when the column reaches the height of the block Placer I'm thinking the best way to go about this is to First create a big box around the ocean monument and then we'll create smaller sections inside of the big Square to drain out all right based on my previous use of sponges I think it's best if we make the sections inside of this Square about four or five blocks apart so we can easily place the sponges and be able to collect them again after so now all I got to do is place it on this side and then on this side I've got to do this all the way across and then go down okay so that took a while but it did work the only downside to this is because it's such a big area I think I'm losing some of the sponges every time I do a row but hopefully we're going to have enough to complete this whole thing [Music] with the water drained and the sand cleared we need to set up a bunch of obsidian portals for the Guardians to swim through when they spawn now that they're all lit we need to water log the spots in between them we're doing this using kelp so we don't have to use tens of thousands of water buckets to optimize the farm we need to place lines of stairs in between each of these rows which will immediately push any Guardians directly into the portals since our Guardians are going to be sent to the nether we need a place to kill them and collect their items first we have to build a nether portal that will link to the old over World portals that'll bring the Guardians here and now we have to build a tunnel to funnel their bodies to their doom and now that I've wough their Doom upon them we need something to collect the items that their corpses grant us to do that I'm going to build a big fancy storage system to hold everything and then we can filter what goes where by doing this and then to be extra extra fancy we can add item frames to denote what are in all the chests now when the Guardians spawn the stairs Force the water to create a stream to carry them instantly into The Nether Portal the Overworld portals are all linked to this one where the Guardians fall out of and die from Fall damage the items they drop are then pushed around this circle of shulker loaders each side programmed with a specific filter to only accept the items that we want to keep now if I'm being honest I still haven't actually tested this thing so I'm just kind of hoping it works so if we hit this lever it should start the storage system now we just need to head to the AFK spot in the Overworld no I'm just going to AFK here overnight while this thing runs and in the morning you guessed it we're going to be fishing again okay okay I've been working on this project for nearly 2 months now and while it may look like we're 75% done we're we're not we're actually not even close and that's because of this stupid little thing called math or probabilities or whatever that's technically called you see every time we catch a fish it has a 10% chance of being one of the 350 rare variants but once you do catch a rare one you no longer need to catch it again meaning the next time you go fishing the odds of catching a brand new fish go down to a 99.997% chance and that number will slowly decrease with each fish you catch until eventually you get to the last fish where you're where you're oh I get it you just figured it out I get like oh okay um note to audience Nathan did not write this he's not intelligent enough to figure it out by himself till eventually you get to the last fish where your last 10% chance has plumm it to a easily .3% chance of catching that one specific fish that you need so in simple terms it's going to take longer to catch each new fish now funny enough there is a way to estimate how long this all takes all you need is a spreadsheet or in my case a roommate who actually knows how to do math and can make a spreadsheet for me and according to him even though the 2300 fish we currently have is 75% of what we need in terms of actual time I'm only 33% done and let me remind you this has taken me almost almost 2 months but catching fish isn't even the only thing we need to do because with the guardian Farm done it's time we get back to work building the actual aquarium we need to house all the fish now we're not going to build some tiny lame one block tank for the fish to live in no no no no no these boys deserve a lot more swimming room than that what I want to do is to try and recreate those underwater viewing tunnels that SeaWorld has so we can walk through some long hallways and see all the different fish swimming around now something like that is probably going to take up a lot of room and since there are 12 different different patterns of fish let's split them up into 12 different hallways and if we arrange the hallways into a sort of box-like pattern it could look something like this then at the end of the hallway we can make a larger room for each of the aquatic creatures we've been capturing but here's the thing I invited camman over specifically to see this build so we can't have something boring and lame what we need to do is make this build so massive that it barely fits in the render distance so let's head over to our concrete machine and grab some materials to make an outline all right now I just got to figure out how big I want this to [Music] be okay so I might have gone a little overboard this yellow part here is just the central building where we're going to keep the Guardians and where we can AFK the farm I do kind of like how tall it is though so I'm thinking I'll have the hallways connecting to it up in the sky I just need to grab some green concrete and then connect them from the sides like this and then let's use some magenta stuff to Mark out the rooms on the ends [Applause] okay so I think I'm happy with how these are looking I'm pretty sure these hallways will be long enough for what we need and I do really like them being up in the sky my only problem is it kind of looks weird for it all just to be floating in the air like that so I think we should try adding some pillars underneath to make it look a little bit more realistic let's grab some of the orange concrete for that and then we'll just build them straight up like [Music] this and that should be good for the outline now as pretty as this little Rainbow outline is it's not going to do a very good job of holding our precious little animals so we're going to need to slap some meat on this thing now I think I want to start with making the side rooms so that our Axel and frogs back at the fish farm can have a nice place to live which means we got to go and grab everything we need to build a beautiful Axel Sanctuary now for the Axel room I'm thinking we design the inside of it like a lush cave because you know that's where we kidnap the axelos from so let's grab up a bunch of moss clay and all the other little plant things that you find inside these caves now for the rest of the build I think we're going to go with materials you would find in the ocean like prismarine sandstone and probably a lot of glass to try and make it look nice and since Cam man is coming a little bit later I also want to throw in some Birch like lots and lots of birch all right we have all the materials now let's build a little platform here with some green concrete just so we can put all our shulkers down now since these rooms are way up in the sky they can't just have a flat floor and ceiling because that would look horrible from below so I'm thinking we do some sort of pod-shaped thing kind of like a capsule that would would be inside of a Kinder Surprise egg oh and then on the top we can put a glass Dome and then we'll match it on the bottom with another one but that probably didn't make a lot of sense so maybe we should just build it and I'll show [Music] you okay so this is what the outside of the pods are going to look like it feels a little fancy and out of place to me but I think once it's actually a part of a larger build it'll look really good but now comes the important part the interior I want to make sure my little axolotes feel right at home since I stole them from their other one so let's start by giving these walls a Mossy cave sort of [Music] look okay now I think that looks really good it kind of looks like we're back inside of the Lush caves which is a Vibe I was trying to go for but now we got to fill in the floor which I'm thinking should basically be the same style except with lots of pools for the excellent of swim in I also want to do a nice walkway through it one that seems to blend into the environment so maybe if we grab some path blocks or darker wood planks would look good yeah yeah so I'm thinking we'll use brown colors for the path and then more grays and greens for everything else I think that's going to help it look a lot more natural okay so this is all looking really nice the floors look good the walls look good now we'll just quickly film these pools so our boys will have a nice place to swim all right the pools are all filled in the only thing left to do is bring in the actual axotal all right boys everybody out I've spent many hours on this home for you and it's time that you enjoy it oh yeah these guys are really digging the place they look so happy in captivity and with that the ax AEL a build is complete and all the axelos have a nice new home to play in so now it's probably about time we create a home for Bert and all his friends since they lived in a tiny pond for like a 100 days I think it'd be fun for them if they could watch me build their new home though so I'm going to build a little platform here and then bring them [Music] over I'm thinking for the exterior I'm just going to keep all the builds the same but we should customize each interior to fit the mobs that are inside since these little guys come from three different biomes I'm thinking we should redesign each of their homelands and start of the build that means we actually need a build so we should get started all right now that the shell is done we can begin work on the inside I think I'm just going to divide it into three sections to represent each biome when to use the floors to Mark out which section is going to be which oh okay so now that it's sectioned off let's start on the biomes themselves I think we'll start with the orange frogs first to remind them of their home I'm going to bring in like a swamp element and a little bit of a forest and then hopefully there'll be tons of little nooks and crannies for them to hide in yeah I think that looks nice all right come on Doris let's put you in your new home now we'll just accent it with some glass to give it a terrarium type feel and we're good Doris is loving your new home now we got to make bird his house and since he's from a mangr swamp I'll just redesign his old home in this section yeah that looks fumy enough to me all right come on ber come on all right and lastly we got to design something for the mountain frogs to replicate their home I'm thinking we just use some ice and snow that I stole from their old [Music] home nice I think this all tied together really well the frogs are all settled in their new home and they're loving it so now that bird is safely contained let's move on to the next creature on our list the dolphin except we haven't captured any Dolphins yet so I guess step one will be to engage in some good oldfashioned kidnapp dophins where are you hiding oh here you are and for now we'll park them right here now we just need some really good names for our new friends Dobby sock and H noodle noodle now we need a place for them to call home which means we got to make another full exterior of one of these builds oh wow it's done so cool definitely didn't spend 8 hours making it I'm thinking for the interior we designed some sort of shipwreck for the Dolphins to play around since if you feed them in the game they'll take you to one and then we can fill the entire lower section with tons of water so they can swim around freely and hopefully not die before we get to that though let's start with decorating the walls since they look like the interior of every other building right now I think I'm going to go with this style of stripped wood pattern and try and include lots of different wood [Music] types huh that actually turned out pretty good I added some dark prismarine to see if that looked good with the stripped wood and I think it complement it well now you may have notice that there's currently no floor and that's because I want this whole area to be a viewing section to see the dolphins swimming below at the same time time though we kind of need somewhere to walk around so I'm thinking we build a little pathway and then put some glass in the center for a viewing spot to see the dolphin swimming below us now we should probably add some sort of safety features so a child doesn't Yeet themselves off into the water and get kidnapped by a dolphin wow child could never clam over that finally I want to add a shipwreck to give this place some flare and a spot for the Dolphins to explore all right the Dolphins new home is ready now I just need Dolphins so our dolphins have gone missing I'm hoping they just swam away way yeah for sure what happened well now looks like we're going to need some new Dolphins then so I've been searching for an hour or so now and I still haven't found one dolphin all right I've resorted to a boat because I've used nearly a shulker box of rockets looking for these things all right I'm thinking at this point maybe I just need to reload my world CU something's going on this doesn't make any sense I literally found so many earlier where did they go all right this is taking me like 3 hours and I've literally found none so I think it's best if we move on for now and hope we come across some later while building the other sections okay so it's finally time to start on the last side of the perimeter builds that house our creatures I think I want to do turtles next because I think I found a good theme for them something with beaches and maybe a little umbrella for them to sit under in the [Music] shade for the interior I'm doing a similar concept to the dolphin area but using planks instead of stripped wood I think this is going to blend into the the sand texture a little bit better all right the little beach front is done now and I've added in some water but now it's time for my amazing idea the umbrella wow stunning art I added in some other small details too but nothing outshines my umbrella I'm thinking that this room is a bit too big just to house the turtles though so I'm going to put a viewing platform on the other side so people can stare at the immaculate Turtles from afar all right we've done it I think this is actually one of my favorite rooms it just looks fun you know I added in some tiny details here and there just to help fill up some of the Open Spaces now the only thing we're missing uh are the turtles now I'm thinking the best way to persuade these guys to permanently visit my museum will be to Minecart them up to their new homes but first I got to get them here swimming with the turtles in the see hopefully they won't bite me all right let's name them so they don't despawn here you can be noodles and you can be booper now I got to make a railroad to get you guys into your new homes that does not look up now you two do the loves H they are not doing the loves we may need to borrow some eggs from some other parents don't mind me ladies oh I got an idea let's make a throne and hatch a baby on it and he shall be the ruler woo he hatched I will name you King torz now protect the flock with a turtle building done you'll never guess what comes next fishing wooo I hate fishing and with that we're at 2500 fish collected which ironic ically means we're only like 37% of the way done but let's not think about that because now come the four corner builds so let's turn this into a speed round and see how quickly we can pound these out I've already gathered all the supplies that we need right here so let's just magically summon two more of these pods andow two more places for us to imprison some innocent animals so for the interior since squids both need large bodies of water I think we should just replicate what we did with a dolphin enclosure but with different types of blocks actually speaking of the Dolphins we should finally go check and see if my game is finally allowing them to exist again hello any Dolphins home oh they're here they have been magically summoned back in that would have been really embarrassing if we just built that entire building and never put any Dolphins inside I think I left some name tags inside of the enclosure yeah yeah I did okay I have to arrive for the enslaving all right come here little boy it's time for you to be enslaved oh I see some of your friends over there that we can also enslave come here little hey come back here and this guy all right up we go follow me to your prison make sure we name them so they don't despawn all right so now the dolphin enclosure is finally done so as I was saying let's build another one of these but with different types of blocks for glow squids since they spun under ground I'm thinking we go with a deep dark Vibe using some of this deep slate and then we'll do a surface theme for the normal squids so in the glow squid room I made those same straight walkways leading from the entrances then capped it off with the roof similar to the Axel build to try and make it look like it was underground now we got to fill in this entire lower section with water so first we fill in this one layer here and then we break all the stone I plac so the water can flow down now I just got to replicate that for the other room so we're going to build a little walkway and then fill in the roof and then we can go about filling in the rest of the water I also built these tanks hoping that the squids would swim up into them and then I finished out the build by adding a little bit more decoration and that's two out of the Four Corners done which means the only ones we have left are the coton salmon room and the puffer fish room so starting with puffer fish I'd like to try and make this room a little bit different from the others we'll still need to fill the bottom with water of course otherwise they're going to all die but I'm thinking we spice up the walkway a little bit instead of Rose or the cross section in the middle let's make more of an L shape now we can add the water for our little puffies to swim around in and enjoy and then finally to make them feel at home once again the home that I stole them from I'm going to add in some plants and coral to make it feel like a warm ocean all right now off to the coton salmon area let's make this one similar to the puffer fish but with more of an ocean ruin type look to it I liked how the pathways turned out in the puffer fish area so I redesigned a similar look here now with the build finally done it's time to go and find some new residents for our aquarium a come to me hey friend hey hey I've come for the salon run the salmon be a running now that the fish are taken care of we need to relocate some of the local squids come with me Squidward oh don't boink your head all right and now we need some glow squids bro this is actually impossible to find any all right well we've captured two that'll do okay so now we've finally completed all eight of the outer rooms and I'm really happy with them even though they're all just floating in the air still I really think this build is coming together now we still have buron here desperately trying to escape but all our axelos are having a wonderful little time but the thing is I haven't been completely honest with you guys there's something I've been doing throughout this entire build that I really just didn't want to be honest about I've been keeping it a secret and trying to avoid showing it in the video but I just can't anymore I need to come clean about what I've been doing even though it's something that might completely change how you think about me I've been fishing behind your back I've been catching all the fishies and you didn't even know I've been filling the shers with fish in the buckets with Doritos and my hands are even sticky with all the and that guy was so ugly but then I drag my lemonade sauce stripy [Music] and now as cool as it would be to leave all these rooms floating in the air the whole point of this build is to make hallways to put our fish in now I think step one of that process should be to build up the orange pillars so we have something to build the hallways off of I want to make sure these pillars look thick and strong so it's time to put the resources from the guardian farm and the con Farm to good use I'm thinking of using darker tones so they're a little bit more subtle and then spicing them up with some sea lanterns okay so to start we're going to use some dark prismarine and then we're going to alternate the block pattern by using some prismarine and some gray concrete ooh I like how this is coming together I put little stairs on the sea lanterns to give it some depth and me likey now I think we should bring the pillars out at the top so they stretch a little bit across the bridge and don't look so skinny all right and with that the first pillar is is complete and I think it looks really good totally not biased now I just have 11 more to go this is going to suck isn't it o it spawned a skeleton dude hello Fred oh you're not my friend you're not my friend so with the pillars all done I think it's time to finally start on the Halls I'm thinking we start with the hallway floors so we have something to stand on I want to make this simple so I'm just going to use a few different wood types similar to the tones that I use in some of the terrarium builds I use some prising and sea lanterns on the outside as kind of a perimeter and now from here I'm going to build out this way so that we can expand the platform that will hold the actual fish tanks but the center part here is going to remain as a portion of the hole that you can walk [Music] in oh no I'm made an oopsie I just realized that I want to add some detail below the floor and I really should have done that first I'm going to add some concrete and some prismarine stairs like this just to make sure the bottom of the Halls aren't so flat on the exterior for the walls I wanted to keep it simple so I went with a basic pattern with some prismarine and dark prismarine so I'm trying to get this roof to somewhat match the terrarium roofs so we're going to finish placing the glass as the first layer and now we can use a few different tones of prismarine to get the top finish so now that the shell is done we can begin designing the tank system each tank is going to need to hold 16 variants of each fish so I'm thinking we can design the tanks to look like those glass rooms at SeaWorld where the fish are able to swim above your head from one side to the other all right so now now that the ruins are done we can begin designing each room to denote which fish goes where I'm going to use concrete on the walls so this way if you're inside and you're at the gray concrete you know there's a variant of gray fish in the exhibit okay so I've officially turned this whole hallway into a rainbow now we need to actually fill up each tank and seal it by using some glass so if we place a wall here and then add some water inside then we just need to connect the two sides I kind of want to see what it looks like with some fish in here so let's go try to find one all right I was only able to find a Cod but I think it'll work for demonstration purposes let's just put him in here oh nice he swims up I was a little worried they might group in the corners but this place is going to be so colorful with all the fish inside to complement that even further though I collected a bunch of coral to put inside the tanks I think I'm going to put some seagrass and kelp in there [Music] too last but not least we need to decorate the transition room that goes in between the creatures rooms and the fish hallway I'm using some bland tones with a bit of pop in color and a few details just to make it feel a little bit more filled in all righty the first hallway is done but you know what that means time to do it uh 11 more times I'm not even phased at this point honestly every time I create something nice it just turns into [Music] pain all right and now that all the hallways are built in all of their Glory you know what time it is it's time to go fishing again I have been editing this video for so long that I can now see the sound waves of whenever I catch a fish if I zoom in right here see this this is one do a little scrolly scroll oh there's another one I have picked up the most useless life skill possible okay we only have around 100 fish left to catch at this point I'm already sick of catching fish again so let's move on to the last portion of the aquarium the centerpiece this is going to be an utterly massive build but I would rather do anything else right now than fish beginning with the base of the building I covered up the guardian Farm below it then I extended it up with orange pillars and a star shape to kind of make it look like a guardian but then I immediately covered that section up but from there I put huge tentacles reaching out all around the centerpiece kind of like there's a kraken underneath it reaching up to grab you from there I made another section of pillars to support the main floor that the Guardians will be brought on to later I capped that off with a roof and then I tried to make a waterfall on top of it but it didn't really work out so I just decided to make a ball of water on top of that and then I finished it off with some fish orbiting around the roof to note that this is a fish aquarium and with that you just saw 20 hours of my life in about a minute but since we're done that you know what time it is it's time to fish for the last fishes and potentially search for my last Brain Cell oh wait I actually forgot to put the Guardians in the center build off you go all right now it's time to go fishing for hopefully the final [Music] time I got it I got it oh I got it oh yes oh no if I've lost it where is he oh there he is I'm the best 3,072 fish I will never ever see them again after I put them in the museum oh no we are missing things oh no tragic oh I'm a genius I'm also an idiot for putting it in there but I'm a genius for finding it now it's time to update the sign for completely practical reasons not because I'm OCD and now since we we finally have all the 372 variants of tropical fish it's time we take them over to the aquarium so that our Teletubby man can come check them out and be blown away by our amazingness to organize them I've set up signs in each of the Halls to den know what fish goes where so we can keep track of which hallway holds wet fish to deposit the fish into their new home we just need to break this and then place a trapo here so I flood the hallway and now we can wiggle our way in and release the sun streaks well now we just have to do this like 200 more times so there's Sun streaks then cobs brls blockfish spotties Glitters clayfish snoopers spotties betties Dashers floppers and finally the stripies oh we've done it we have officially captured all 3,072 tropical fish and put them all inside of little viewing chambers inste of a giant aquarium also we can show that Teletubby of a man once and for all I still haven't figured out what I'm trying to prove to him but now that all the fish are in it's time to drag canman into the world all right I'm logging on pretty cool world here what welcome canman and Birch well well well if it isn't the pink Teletubby himself all right wait wait kid I'm kiding I'm just kidding I was a little bit insulted a little while ago when you made that short about catching every single fish inside of Minecraft oh every single tropical fish there's like 3,000 though that's like impossible so I've caught every single one of them and I've trapped them in a museum just for you what no you didn't that's like that that's impossible I will give you this so that you can fly around and I will allow you to inspect my world and verify all the little fishies to your heart's content all right all right oh my God I almost just I did not see that it was hardcore mode I was about to slam into the ground as a bit but I just noticed it's hardcore mode so I won't do that yeah I probably don't we're going to have to go get you some totems and armor too though probably wait I thought you were the armor trim guy you have no armor trim that's jeez I'm not I'm not really about it you know I think here's my opinion I think it's a bigger Flex to have the armor trims and not use them than to wear them you know no I think I think I think it's more reflex to use them actually okay so this is the main base yeah I was thinking it could have some touching up but you know it's decent yeah if you have any suggestions you know you I'll feel free to give them so right here uh see this wood right here I'll make this Bru so uh how's life pretty good you know big stuff here why don't you just make everything like way smaller and then it's easier right so this is another one of the small builds that we threw together what is wa oh yeah wa you know you know that that video was kind of just a joke it wasn't meant to be taken seriously it was like a I like oh no one's ever going to do this like that's not that's not something anyone would do right so in this part we have the Elder Guardians let's let's just start with this hallway this is the glitter Hall so if you look around you'll see all the different types wow you got okay wow you got a wait this one oh oh oh they're up there oh who oh there's like they're like through the ceiling and stuff yeah it comes all the way around oh my God you know they're living pretty good lives you can see the concrete will denote what color they are so you can kind of like keep track of what you got in here and they're all named so if you hover over them you can uh you know okay see which one they are and see if any are missing got to do your formal inspection you know to make sure that you approve yeah I mean I'm yeah I'm counting o the rare black variant oh yes yes terrible thank you for not informing of me of that variant it was very helpful so we decided while we were at it to just grab everything that kind of lived in water um so this is the frog room okay frogs where where the Tad um they GRE up they grew up into froges o might have to write you uh ding you down for that one but that's okay this is the the Betty hole you know in case you really like your betty fish Betty no way there was a fish called Betty this is the Cod and salmon room okay oh yeah there's a lot down there I see him this is the turtle room all right uh you know got some turtles in here got the little sunbathing I do have the eggs in case that you know Miss the Tad PS but got the eggs U just just a little uh you know if I wanted to critique something this umbrella you know I feel like you could have used carpets I feel like umbrellas aren't that thick I know you're not quite the Builder I mean this a little bit of a rookie build but uh yeah I would use string and umbrella there I'd probably write that down if I were you string and umbrella for that you know I mean I thought this was a quality like I thought you spent time on you said this took you said this took 30 minutes to build 30 minutes and you couldn't get string I mean all right next haul why is there a king turtle King what this guy do what did he do to the other Turtle they need to have a leader otherwise they might
