Introduction

  • Weaver graduated from Stanford GSB
  • Took a corporate job he wasn't passionate about
  • Experience at an offsite in Napa led to an epiphany

Three Promises for Graduates

  1. Take the Nail Out of Your Head

    • Follow current sources of energy rather than a singular, nebulous passion
    • Exercise: Imagining nine parallel lives to identify sources of energy
    • Use energy to inform decisions and make life changes
  3. Go All In

    • Commit fully to your decisions
    • Avoid saying
