Using a Calculator for Inverse Trig Functions

we want to use the calculator to evaluate these inverse trig functions and we want the answer in radians and rounded to four decimal places so the first thing I do when I grab my calculator to do something like this is I make sure I'm in the correct mode and I see that I'm in degrees so I need to hit the mode button and switch it to radians and then I'm ready to go so I just simply to get the inverse trig buttons you use the second button and then you push either sine cosine or tangent so I'm going to hit the second and I want to inverse sine so I hit sine and you see it gives me the notation for inverse sine put in point seven I'm going to finish the parenthesis and enter so I'm going to round it to four decimal places so it's point seven seven five four now I'm going to do inverse cosine so I'm just going to hit the second button in cosine and then I'm just going to hit 5/7 and it looks like that's approximately point seven seven five two so last we have arc tan of negative five and arc tan is just inverse tangent of negative five and we're going to round that to four decimal places so it looks like it's negative one point three seven three four
