Deep Cleaning Process

Brush Roll

  1. Remove Brush Roll:
    • Flip vacuum over.
    • Pull on the latch to detach.
    • Be cautious of the plug when reattaching.
  2. Inspect for Blockage:
    • Use scissors to cut hair built up around the brush roll.
    • Check for additional blockages in suction areas.
  3. Reassemble:
    • Align tabs and slots carefully to reattach the brush roll.
    • Ensure flush alignment for proper function.

Cleaner Head

  • Reattach Cleaner Head:
    • Clip needs to face the correct way when attaching.
    • Ensure outlet is lined up properly before applying force to snap in.

Dust Canister

  1. Open Dust Canister:
    • Push down on the lever to open the clear band.
    • Access the cyclone release button.
  2. Clean the Cyclone:
    • Use a damp cloth for cleaning (avoid excess moisture).
    • Clean the mesh area which can clog and cause suction loss.

Hose Inspection

  1. Remove and Inspect Hose:
    • Pull the tab to remove the hose for visual inspection.
    • Check for breaks and blockages.
  2. Replace Hose if Necessary:

Filters

  1. Accessing Filters:
    • Filters are washable; turn the screw mechanism counterclockwise to remove.
  2. Cleaning Filters:
    • Canister Filter: Soak in cold water, squeeze until water runs clear, let dry for 24 hours.
    • Main Filter: Rinse under cold water, do not squeeze, also let dry for 24 hours.
