and the mother of the child and those who were with him and entered where the child was laying or lying then watch this verse 41 then he took the child by the hand somebody said he took the child by the hand the child by and said to her to I feel something right there then he took the child by the hand and said to her talitha Kum my which is translated little girl I say to you arise eyes immediately the girl arose and walked for she was 12 years of age and they were overcome with great amazement can we just bow our heads Lord thank you for your anointed word today thank you for what through my mind speak through my mouth use me as an oracle of your glory today as I yeld myself to your leading let your will be done in Jesus name amen you may have your seats Hallelujah glory to God we have we have have been in the series healing the children's bread and I want to speak to you for the next few minutes from this title the Christ or the power of Christ in crisis the power of Christ in crisis I've learned over the years I've discovered a pattern not just in the scriptures but even so in the word in my life in so many different ways that God has a unique way of orchestrating events and experiences we know these experiences as chyos moments chyos moments are really up opportune times it's opportune moment it is in fact the right time if you would cease the opportunity in the moment I once heard Bishop Smith say something that I will never forget we were in Connecticut at a conference and he said the opportunity of a lifetime should always be ceased within the lifeline of the opportunity and I realize that summarizes what chyos moments are God has a distinct way of orchestrating events and experiences that with the right response with with the with with with the right touch with the with the right Faith with with applying the right principle we have the ability to tap in and begin to experience the manifested power and move of God I'm talking about the supernatural power of God that is always ever present to heal to save and even to deliver God has a way of orchestrating these chyos moments unfortunately for us it would seem as though most of the times these moments show up in the form of a crisis many of us in here this morning can identify with crisis it was a crisis that brought Anna into the temple before the Lord and not the priest it was a crisis glory to God hallelujah that brought Samson into repentance after what he did and cause him to tap into a moment in time and access Supernatural strength in order to gain victory over the Philistine One Last Time Crisis has a way of causing us to experience God in Dimensions that we wouldn't usually experience him ah but it has a lot to do with perspective what are Crisis crisis is defined as intense difficulty trouble or danger many of us know firsthand what it's like to be in a crisis for those of us who may be struggling to you know uh identify with the definition allow me to help you with a few synonyms stress is a crisis distress is a crisis sickness is a crisis setbacks are crisis being in a jam finding your yourself in a financial hole these are all crisis and many of us if we would be honest knows exactly what it feels like being in a crisis but I want to help you this morning because I believe the Lord has revealed a principle a formula if you will that if we would apply this formula it will guarantee Divine help in times of Crisis anybody ready this morning glory to God we're going to be looking at a principle a formula that has three fundamental laws or principles if you will first one we're going to look at is the law of Faith the law or the principle of Faith we've been talking about it since the beginning of this series amen we're going to talk about it some more amen the principle or the law of Faith we're going to explain its part and purpose with regards to healing and the supernatural the second one we're going to look at is the law or the principle of recognition the law are the principle of recognition the third one that we're going to look at is the law or the principle of reach so we're going to look at the law of Faith we're going to be looking at the law of recognition understand that with recognition comes Revelation and there are two areas of recognition that I want for us to look at this morning self recognition Hallelujah are we here amen amen the second one that we're going to look at is recognition of who it is that has the power to produce the desires that we are expecting the one who has the ability to bring us out the one who has the ability to turn things around amen and then the law reach after you have gained Revelation it's now time to reach Hallelujah so what do we know about faith what do we know about faith if I should ask around the room I promise I'm going to hear people start telling me you know faith is the substance of things hoped for because we're a Bible believer in church amen and you are correct some people are going to say it is the evidence of Things Not Seen amen hallelujah and you are correct amen but I want for us to go a little bit deeper this morning is that all right one of the things I want for you to note about faith is that Faith transcends time Faith transcends time time what do you mean about faith transcends time faith is not limited to the present you break this down faith is not limited to the present and when I say that what I mean is that when you look at Hebrews 11 and verse1 it starts out by saying now Faith is but now Faith is within the context of how it is said only implies in addition to what was being said in the previous chapter because Faith transcends time are we tracking and so it is not correct for us to say that faith is now because in Hebrews chap 11 what you will find is the Hall of Faith Hebrews 11 is the Hall of Faith every person that responded or acted by faith is recorded in the book of Hebrews chapter 11 when you read Hebrews 10: 38 and 39 it tells you why the writer of Hebrews started chapter 11 with now Faith is but faith is not limited to the present because Faith transcends time can I prove it media can you pull up for me Hebrews chapter 11 amen we're going to look at verse three verse three Faith transcends time can you see it all right let's read what does it say through faith we understand what that the the world were framed by the word do you see were there okay were there implies pastet so by faith we understand that the world were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen which implies present tense so we saw past tense and we saw present tense are not things watch this things which are seen were not made of things which do appear next verse now in fact jump to verse six show you something so we saw past tense and we saw present past tense present tense watch what verse six says but without faith it is impossible to what all right read why it says for he that what say that louder what anytime you see th added to a word it change the tense the verb tense of the word which means that for he that came past tense he who is coming and will forever come to God and so it encompasses past tense present tense and future tense Faith transcends time this is why we can have the Hall of Faith watch this if you go down to the next verse can we go to the next verse watch this by faith Noah being warned of God watch this Noah was operating that then by faith but now when we talk about that that's what past tense every person within the all of Faith was from the past which then means that Faith Can NE can never be limited to now if Faith was unlimited to now then there wouldn't be a need for the all of faith if Faith was limited to the present then we would this would all be redundant it wouldn't even make sense for it to be in the Bible it's important because when you begin to understand this you're not limited and restricted thinking that you have less Faith than you used to when you find yourself in crisis you won't think that okay maybe God is not responding because I'm not working my faith like I did back then or I'm not believing not let me not jump ahead and myself can we keep going Faith transcends time faith is a prerequisite to receiving anything from God it's also a requirement like we just read to please him faith is enabling somebody say faith is enabling and faith is voice activated ah faith is enabling and faith is voice activated what do you mean Pastor faith faith is enabling because the Bible says that we walk by faith in other words Faith enables us to move because we walk by faith and not by sight we walk by faith and in other words if I say to you a car moves by the wheels the engine and the battery it's impossible to move move the car without these three things which means that it's impossible for us to move without faith so faith is what enables us as a Believer how do I know this because when you look in the Hall of faith it says by faith Noah did this by faith Abel did that by faith Abraham offered up by by by faith in other words they were doing everything that they did because they were enabled to do it through faith yes are we together faith is voice activated why is it voice activated because the Bible says faith comes by hearing yes in other words we're in error if we think that we can believe God for something that he never said can I talk to somebody real Fai looks like this you spend time in the presence of God you hear what God Said and then you respond you move according to what God Said are you hearing me Faith real Faith looks like responding after you have heard what God because God is not obligated to do just what we desire God is not obligated to do or respond to anything that we believe that we have faith for just because we're saying we have faith for it that's not the will of God in fact that's not how God works can I prove it to you uh-huh yes sir faith is voice activated somebody say faith is voice activated ah Faith watch this Mark 11 no I I don't even have to go there I don't even have to go there God spoke to so many people in scriptures do y'all remember the Tower of Babble yes sir y'all remember what happened yes sir they believed this is going to help somebody they believed that it was possible to build something that went all the way up into the heavens and the Bible says that because they were United and they were with one Accord they were in agreement that they began building and the Bible said this nothing would have been imp possible for them why because they believed but do you remember what God did because not because they believed or they had Faith to build meant that it was the will of God and so what God did was he came and he confused the language sometimes confusion in our life is just an indicator that we're outside of the will of God I know it might seems righteous for us to believe that okay God wants us to have this so I'm believing God for it but we have to remember that all our days are written in his book and the way he wrote my life is not the way you wrote yours and so my responsibility is not to become who I feel this thing I'm not even in the text yet my responsibility is not to become envious of you when I see God blessing you and begin to desire what I see you with because not because God gave it to you mean that he gave it to Miriam and Aaron felt like because God could speak to them also that there was nothing wrong with them speaking ill against their brother whenever we begin to think that because say you got something God bless you with that that he's obligated to do the same thing for me we're walking on Dangerous Grounds the Bible says that the father made a quot of Many Colors for who Jo did he do it for any of the other brothers not because God does something for the person sitting next to you means that he's obligated to do the same thing for you in fact let me put it this way you don't know what God has for you and so if God blesses this person with $100,000 you don't go to God asking him for a 100 because he may have 100 million for you you and because you ask for a 100 that's all you comparison is dangerous sir sir God Is So intentional about this that when he told us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness he said what would be added what things what what things because everybody doesn't desire the same things tell somebody don't limit God amen amen amen glory to God glory to God real Faith looks like what John 530 says media can you pull that up for us John 530 glory to God real Faith this was Jesus speaking what did Jesus say I of myself can do nothing watch this as I hear Faith his voice activate as I hear I judge and I can have a confidence after my judgment and my judgment is righteous why because I do not seek my own will but the will of the father this is why it's important to spend time with God because we can be in error thinking that because something is Christlike it is Christ's will for our lives we can be in Arrow thinking that because something is Christian means that we have to do it and we don't realize that all our days are written job said he knows the way that I take and when he has tested me I'm going to come out as pure gold you know why because the steps of a right ious man uh you going to have to help me they are ordered by listen they are not followed by God they are ordered by God hallelujah and so the reality is we should never move outside of the will of God and the voice of God we spend time listening to what God says then we move move Jesus taught the disciples how to pray and one of the most important things he said to them was that when you pray don't pray your own will but pray for God's will to be done because not because [Music] weire [Music] desire and yet as [Music] [Applause] awesome comes from from Psalms 37 Focus only focus on verse media feel free to pull that up so they can see it we talk about delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart and we miss it some of us we read verse 5 that tells us commit your ways also unto him and he will bring it to pass let me ask you a question do you think that God is obligated to bring your desires to pass when he taught the discip I Les to pray his will when Jesus on his way to the Cross had his own desire to just not go through with this he says let this cup pass from me if it be possible but nevertheless not my will but your will do you think God is obligated to bring your will to pass just because you want to feed a few homeless people and the Bible says the poor you will have with you always can I help somebody because the reality is as wonderful as it is because it is these are good intentions that we have but we have to make sure that our good intentions lines up with the will of God because good is not always God helping somebody and I need to get to this text watch this I'mma help you go back to verse four the Bible says delight yourself in the Lord and He God will give you the desires of your heart stop it's not your desires that he gives you it's his desire that he gives you into your heart because you have delighted in him this is why verse 5 tells you now that when you commit to fulfilling his desires that's how he brings his desires to pass get some time read the passion version it will help you amen glory to God can we keep going my God I'm not even that recognition y'all are pulling on me we're going to have to make this a two-part message amen come back to 11 amen glory to God Amen recognition recognition what is recognition recognition I love this definition it's acknowledgment of Something's existence validity or legality that's what recognition is so watch this the first year of recognition that I want for us to pay attention to is self recognition self-recognition understanding who you are and whose you are Apostle dealt with that last week when we have an understanding of who we are and whose we are it sets us up amen for crazy things to happen things that we never even imagined could have happen it really deals with us having a sense of awareness it also deals with us knowing or condition ah Isaiah had one of these experience he had a a recognition the Bible says in Isaiah 6 and: 5 the Bible says that Isaiah sought the Lord starts out by telling us in the year King Uzziah died Isaiah said he saw the Lord and he was high and lifted up but watch how he responded after the recognition he said wo is me for I am undone he realized his very own condition you can never get to where you desire to be until you have accepted your own condition it was after he recognized his condition that the Bible says that the angel of the Lord took a hot call and purified his lips because your deliverance is locked up in both your recognition and your acceptance we conduct Deliverance sessions and we tell people if you are in denial you're in a dangerous place if you fail to accept where you are then you can't be delivered because there's no need for deliverance if you don't think you need it on Sir so acceptance is important my God Centurion he had a recognition of himself he said to Jesus I a sinner I'm not even worthy of you coming under my roof just speak the word and my servant will be healed self-recognition somebody say self-recognition and then realizing number two who to turn to who to look to who to run to glory to God watch this this is very important write this down as it pertains to spiritual things you will not receive from anything or anyone you have not properly recognized feel like I'm have to say that again as it pertains to spiritual things you will not and cannot receive from anything and anyone you have not properly recognized you know why because it is a principle in the spirit it's a principle watch this in 2 Kings chapter 2 the Bible says that Elijah was getting ready to be taken up on now and and the Bible says that in verse 9 I believe he asked Elisha what is it that you want me to do for you and this is what the man of God said he says watch this please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me the Bible says that Elijah said to him you ask a hard thing now nevertheless if you what see me it's going to be so if you don't it ain't going to be so if you see me if you thought that when he said if you see me he was talking about if you saw me physically you missed it because he wasn't worried about Elisha falling falling asleep he never had a sleep disorder when he said if you see me it was only a hard thing because what he was requesting was something that is only given to Sons Where do you think the sons of the Prophet came from you have the schools of the Prophet the school of the Prophet you have the sons of the Prophet watch this where you think that came from because what you're asking for is something that is only given to son mantel are transferred through sunship and so when he says let a double portion of your spirit fall upon me Let It rest upon me what he was saying is that man I don't think you understand what you're asking for but nevertheless depending on how you see me if you really recognize who I am then it will be unto you but if you don't you ain't going to get it brother and so the Bible says in verse 12 that as they went watch what happened Elijah was being taken up and the Bible says that Elisha saw it and watch what he cried out my father my my father it's the first time in Scripture that he was able to recognize and acknowledge his teacher as his father if you go back to verse three you'll realize that Elijah was a teacher to Elisha he was his master his teacher but in verse 12 he recognized tell somebody I got to recognize glory to God who it is hallelujah I got to recognize I got to wrap this thing up you ready I got to wrap this thing up glory to God hallelujah you have to come back to the six the the 11:00 service because we got some work to do amen hallelujah reach reach the law of reach after you have recognize because with recognition comes Revelation it's time to reach it's time to move it's time to respond it's time to act the law of reach can I tell you what reach is defined as reach is defined as really to arrive at or to come to something or someone after you recognize that God is the same yesterday today and forever it doesn't matter what crisis you are in glory to God you're able to shift in a opportune time glory to God Hallelujah in the midst of your crisis so that you can respond correctly so that you can act you can move you can run you can go you can seek Jesus Hallelujah the Bible says canot we just go go into the text glory to God hallelujah that there were two very Hallelujah I feel this thing you going to have to work with me because I feel this thing there were two cases glory to God we're introduced to the first one in the 21st verse in the 22nd verse of Mark 5 the Bible says that as Jesus was there Glory to God that a man came to him his name was gyrus and when gyrus came you have to believe that gyus had already tapped into these principles I'm giving you a formula I'm giving you a formula he had already tapped into these principles he had Faith so he was working the law of Faith because if he never had Faith he wouldn't have gone to Jesus because the Bible says he that cometh must first believe that he is who he says he is and that he is a rewarder that he is going to respond favorably and so he went to Jesus he activated the law of Faith the Bible says he activated watch this by Revelation the law of recognition because Jesus was by the Sea Jesus never went to him he recognized who Jesus was and went to him by faith the Bible says that when Jesus heard the situation he decided to go with him and having started the journey he was interrupted by a woman that was in a crisis for 12 years the Bible says that she would have suffered many things glory to God is there anybody in here who have suffered anything glory to God Hallelujah the Bible says she would have suffered many things and she was at the point where she heard about this man Jesus Jesus has never met this woman but she heard about him and she recognized him to the point where as as much as there were so many people crowds of people she went right up behind him glory to God she broke so many laws because uh with that issue that she had with the crisis she was in she was supposed to be separated from everybody Hallelujah glory to God but she decided uh my crisis glory to God stops here uh because there is a Christ that has a track record uh of showing up in the mids of crist's situation and so the Bible says that she pressed through the crowds and she went right up behind him because she said to herself if only I could just but Touch the Hem of His Garment uh I don't want anything else but to touch his clothes uh and I don't care who Hallelujah which who's out here saying that I should not be out here uh because sometimes uh when you've suffered some stuff uh it's time to take by force uh what belongs to you the Bible says that the kingdom is within us glory to God and the Bible tells us that from the days of John the Baptist that same Kingdom suffered violence but there was a people who got to a place is in the mids of their crisis and understood I got to take uh by force my healing uh take my force my Deliverance uh take my force my breakthrough uh take my force uh God's promises uh take my Force what belongs to me she touched his clothes what messed me up is that she she never said if I could only get to him and he laid hands on me that I would be recovered she never said if only he prays for me I'm going to be healed she said if I just touch the ham if I just touch the G garment if I only touch the clothes I don't want to touch the hand I just want to touch the God but see you have to understand that she was functioning from recognition she tapped into a revelation remember I said with recognition comes revelation was able to tap into Revelation and understood that by Revelation if she responded this way what are you talking about Pastor media can you pull up for me Hallelujah Malachi 4 we're going to look at the second verse watch this the Bible says that unto you who fears the name of the Lord Our God who is revering the name of the Lord unto you watch this that fears my name the son of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings if you don't have a understanding or a knowledge of biblical scriptures you will miss this Revelation right here that word Wings there is translated in Hebrews to mean fringes now fringes were something that was worn at the edge of the religious leaders garments they they had fringes similar to what you have on your prayer Shaw glory to God hallelujah they had fringes at the edge of their garments H and these fringes were significant glory to God on the prayer Shaw you have fringes four glory to God one on each Corner each Fringe is called a disce glory to God it has five knots in there and these five knots are significant because they represent the pentat to the five knots represent the first five books of the Bible M I feel the Holy Ghost in here Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers when you begin to study this what you'll find is that within these knots it was so carefully crafted and designed uh that each knot and each uh tie and every WAP represented a phrase a promise a word of God hallelujah and so it wasn't for fashion it was the word of God hallelujah when you begin to understand Malachi 4 and two that if you rever the name of the Lord Lord woo that there would be Deliverance in his wings that there would be healing in His Garment she tapped into the law of recognition and because she did she said if only I could just touch a Hem of His Garment I know the word of God cannot lie I know I'm going be healed I know if he says it that settles itth and so she did glory to God and the Bible said [Music] immediately immediately the Fountain of her blood dried up and she was healed because the word of God is true don't you know that according to John 1 and what in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the Word was God go down just a little bit and you would see that the Bible says and the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth there was power in the word somebody shout there's power in the word to deliver me in the midst of Crisis there is power in the [Music] word dismantle and Destroy satanic strongholds in my life there is power in the word there is power in the word woo Jesus said who touch me who touched me who touched me oh Master there are so many people around you how can you ask such a question who touched me hold up wait wait wait wait she never touched him she touched His Garment Jesus said no who touched me because the Bible says virtue left him one translation says power left him you know what power that was that left him [Music] the Bible says D power left him dinator power is power residing in anything by virtue of its nature he was the Healer he wasn't just a Healer but the Bible says he was wounded for her transgression proves for our iniquities is there anybody in here who's been chastised is there anybody in here who's suffering from infirmity in your body can I remind you there is a Christ that can be found in the midst of your crisis but you got to seek and the principle is uh if you seek uh you shall give God praise that there is still power Wonder working power it's not just in the blood it's not just in the blood it's in the word it's in the word it's in the [Music] word send the word and my servant will be healed ah Jesus never died yet but if if you speak the [Music] word I don't know who I came to tell but there's power in the word to deliver you and it's not hard you've said it before but you have not honored your commitment and the Lord says to remind you that you made a commitment and that he is expecting you to honor it because as long as you continue to be like this you will not have any peace and you will always be fearful and so the protection that you desire the Bible says that the angel of the Lord encamp it round about them that fear Him protection is easy for God are you hearing me and everything else that you desire I decree and declare lift your hands lift both your hands Hallelujah in the name of Jesus Christ that you would come into the revelation Hallelujah the understanding of what it means to be planted and as you do I decree and declare a flourishing like you have never seen like you have never known in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth father I speak into the Matrix of his spirit and his soul and I decree that according to your will glory to God that it be so in the name of Jesus Christ I
