Application Process for Funding

  • Eligibility: For-profit and non-profit organizations with value-added presence in Canada
  • Project Criteria:
    • Process innovation, transformative impact, collaboration, commercial benefit, broader benefit to Canada
  • Consortia Requirements: At least two unassociated industry partners, one SME, demonstration of path to commercialization
  • Funding Details:
    • Project size: $1.5 - $8 million
    • Reimbursement up to 37% of eligible expenses
    • Eligible expenses: Labor, subcontractors, capital equipment, materials, travel, IP-related costs
    • Stackable with other government funding
  • Application Gateways:
    • Screening by October 11, 2023
    • Full application by November 15, 2023
