friends this is ryan day and i believe you have been seeing him on 3abn singing or reviewing sabah school lessons friends for a couple of weeks or months now we have not been seeing ryan day on 3abn so many people were concerned they wanted to know what is going on in the life of ryan day friends but not knowing that something something was going on friends something was going on so on the 12th of april 2025 he posted this on his facebook page he says "recently many have asked where i've been and why they haven't seen me on 3abn lately i am no longer an employee of 3abn i will be going live on facebook and youtube today april 12 at 6:00 p.m central time to explain all there are many rumors floating around some true some false i will clarify everything that has happened and the plans for the future during today's live the youtube link is in the comment section below blessings to you all so friends that was ryan day and he posted as i said he posted that on his facebook page on the 12th of april 2025 last sabbath friends so on 12th of april 2025 last sabbath he made the video and said a lot of things friends a lot of things i don't know but i'm going to play part of the video the crucial part of the video right now here on this channel and we will talk about it right here on this channel after the video okay so without wasting any time let's get right into the video and listen to ryan day why he left 3abn and also why he left the 7th day adventist church let's watch this three years ago i started deeply searching i started reading a lot of books i started reading a lot of articles i started digging deeper into the bible and along the way i did read some ellen white but what i decided to do in my journey is i decided you know what i want i want to live up if i'm going to be a 7th day adventist i want to live up to that teaching or that that declaration that adventists claim that we we have claimed for so long that all of our teachings and all that we believe is strongly strongly can be proven from scripture that we don't need ellen white so i've read quite a bit of ellen white over the last three years but i've actually uh uh tried to put myself more in the bible and tried to take off my adventist lens and and read the scripture for what it is with no biases i know that's hard to do because when you have stuff in there that's been plugged in there for year and year after year years and years and years you know it can it can mess you up you it's hard not to look through that adventist lens or to look through that particular lens and see things through a particular world view that you have for so long but i've done my best to do that and my friends i'm going to be honest with you um you know i found and discovered some things that shook me and one of the things that i agreed is not just to look into some of the critics of the adventist church and the critics of ellen white but i decided to go purchase books and start watching videos and and presentations from the supporters of ellen white and from the supporters of adventism so that i'm hearing both sides of the stories i'm reading both sides i'm studying both sides to compare to make sure that that i'm covering as much as i can and that i'm not looking at this only one-sided and i found myself along the way that when i would dive into the the supporters you know the defenders of adventism the defenders of ellen white i would find that some of their points towards some of the critics were fairly honest and good you know i would find sometimes i would watch a video um whoever it was the source or or reading a book and whoever it was and i would find myself going "okay okay yeah this they're making a good point here uh this critic i can see how this critic didn't really fully consider this point because they missed this from this or they missed this point or so i tried to be honest and i tried to be balanced but i still could not overcome the fact that what i was discovering about ellen white was it was it was it was tough especially when i'm reading the defenders of ellen white trying to defend uh many of these crazy bizarre statements that she made um some of the just downright contradicting statements that she made not just contradiction from the bible but contradicting herself and i'm going to be showing some of those things in the days to come not not tonight um but i'm i'm i'm finding it hard to reconcile these things and i'm not finding strong supportive defense answers for these things um i would hear the defenses and i'm still walk away going "ah that's kind of weak." like i'm not you're not really you're not really dealing you're just kind of you know you're you're putting a pillow down or you're you're saying the right words to help some adventists throw it under the rug and go "oh okay." and it's good enough for me but for me it was some of the responses just weren't good enough not to mention as i'm really digging into this investigative judgment thing i'm finding more and more questions coming up as i'm digging into just the bible um now i want to say for the record i believe in a pre-advent judgment i still believe that there is a judgment the bible is clear no one can deny the fact that there's a judgment that happens before jesus returns at his second coming but the nature of that judgment being investigative i know how adventists get to that so before you jump in the comment sections or send me messages or and you're welcome to do that you're free to do that i know how adventists come to these conclusions please my friends i again you can disagree with me you can hate me don't insult me by coming at me with evidences that you think i haven't considered and i'm not trying to be arrogant or or boastful i'm still open to hear and read those things that you may want to send to me but you're not talking to the average lay person here okay i was a minister in the church who spent many many many many hours apologetically defending adventist faith and defending adventist doctrines so there's a good chance 99.9% chance that what you might think is "oh here's the smoking gun to help prove ryan wrong." chances are i've already read it i've already considered it it's good enough for you it's not good enough for me and that's not me just being critical or just trying to find a way out because i was literally white knuckling myself through these studies trying to find a way to remain in my church because what what good is it going to do me friends to uproot my life from the church that i've been in the last 14 years that i receive my livelihood for that i that i receive my paycheck from that my entire career what good am i doing myself there's there's no benefit to me coming to any of these conclusions there's just not the only benefit well i say there's no benefit there's no benefit in in adventism's perspective there's a benefit for me because now i'm i i i i just have a whole new respect for the gospel of jesus christ i have a whole new respect for the way that the bible is so clear on some of these things and and it's just it's amazing there's a freedom and there's a peace there that i haven't felt in years i'm going to tell you man for the majority of my ministerial career i have never felt like i've had assurance of salvation in the church in the adventist church have assurance of salvation i can't count the times that i have really really struggled um just night after night praying and praying struggling with my and my some of my own challenges some of you are aware of those challenges um but just terrified and fearful that i'm not going to make it to heaven because what if my name has come up what if my case has come up in in the in the judgment because again you won't find this in the bible but but the teaching is is that there's a judgment going on has been going on since 1844 and at some point it could have already happened it may happen very soon it may still be in the future but at some point the judgment is going to switch from the dead to the living and those who are alive your case could come up and man by the time jesus gets to your name and your case you better be 100% so wrapped up in christ and 100% and i'm going to use these words because ellen white uses them perfect thoughtless spotless and and sinless that's right i said it i have there's some quotes and some some you know there there's at least one or two that i can show you where she specifically talks about being perfect in the law and if you don't reach that point by the time your case comes up your name well you may not you you may have already been decided on and you don't even know it now as i'm saying this i recognize there's probably many seventh day adventist christians right now going "well that's not what i believe." or "no no no that's i can't believe he believed that that's not what i believe." see that's the thing also about seventh day adventism that has just been so hurtful to me over the years is that when you go all over see see most of you your your eye concept of seventh day adventism is your own little local church bubble i've spent the last 14 years of my life traveling in this church abroad overseas and from state to state i have been in hundreds of adventist churches and had the privilege of speaking and taking in the culture taking in the people the different you know the different mentalities and the adventism is a plethora of of of confusion on their own doctrines and the ministers know this the leaders know this in fact the many ministers and the many leaders don't even agree with one another on the major fundamental doctrines and and and that may come as a shock but but i i've seen it i've experienced it and so even with what i'm telling you but what i'm sharing with you in terms of the my case coming up and not having assurance of this is the opinion this is the teaching of traditional ellen white adventism you cannot get around the fact that ellen white makes it abundantly clear that you you must be thoughtless spotless sinless when that time comes either before you die or by the time jesus shows up you better have laid all of your sins before him because one cherish sin boom you're gone you know and again i know the word e the word the word is cherished i get it but sin in general uh you know and i'm not even saying that again that i support the concept of just this sinning you know no no i don't believe that you could just sin sin sin sin and still make it into heaven that's i don't believe that my friends and i'm going to address that in just a moment when i talk about this once-s saved always saved rumor that has floated around but um but it's just it's it's just hard when you're in a church and it's like man no what i mean you expect the ley you know the common member to have different opinions and different ideas but when you get among the leadership when when you step among the and you see that we don't even agree on even the fundamental doctrines you have people in the church that believe in last generation theology which some of you may know some of you may not you have some people in the church that believe more in this gospel adventist kind of concept this belief that oh no i can have s assurance today and and and and uh i don't have to be perfect you know sinless until jesus comes and they have they have all these various different beliefs and ideas on just the gospel and don't even get me started on the investigative judgment don't get me started on the sabbath yes 99.9% of adventists believe you should keep sabbath most of many of them don't agree on how to keep sabbath and it's like man like there's just there's just a lot there's a lot there and it's like man i i dealt with this over the years just in my heart and mind like lord i don't i don't even know if if i really know you like i know i know stuff i know i know information i can preach it like the best of them i can i can be convincing my goodness i have a track record of of you know praise god by his grace bringing many many people to christ through these evangelistic series and making them good old seventh day adventist christians because i preached the doctrines right they agreed to them in the baptismal clearing meeting and boy i have a great record in that case but at the end of the day i'm find myself throughout the years sitting at home going "lord i don't even do i know you do do am i saved?" well wait there's a couple of quotes where ellen white says "no you can't have assurance." or some where she says you shouldn't say you're saved i mean again these these are things that some adventist defenders are going to jump on and they're going to say that i'm twisting and make i understand all of the talking points on it the point i'm getting at my friends is that over the years i i found myself in a situation after situation going "lord i don't i don't and this is your remnant church and this is i i don't feel like i really am i'm not i'm not headed down the right track because i can't be good enough i can't be perfect enough but it's amazing how there's so many other of my brethren in the church that seem just so perfect and right on track they eat perfect they dress perfect they never watch anything bad they never say anything bad they never do anything bad they never think anything bad they never i mean it's just just line them up and and and there's so many of them in there that make it seem like oh you know it's attainable you can you can be perfected in christ you can be sanctified from all of your sins and and reach this level of perfection the end but many of these people who believe these very hardcore aspects of the gospel who believe these what i believe to be unbiblical aspects of the gospel that they get more from ellen white than they do the bible it it's amazing how these people who promote these very ultraconservative and when i say conservative i'm not talking about spirituality or i'm talking about this adventist that just you know again it's about what you do rather than who you know it's more about what you believe in rather than who you believe in and i i i it's these type of people that i find when i'm around them they don't exemplify the character of jesus they just don't the people who are the most pious they're not reflecting christ and i find myself going from church to church going "lord are these your people is this your remnant where where where is that perfection that we preach where is that that incredible sanctification where we're supposed to grow in grace and grow in knowledge and grow in humility where we're embracing one another and loving one another and and helping to be there to strengthen one another encourage one another well what i'm finding is the deeper you go into adventism the more judgmental you people you find and and and and it just became this overwhelming struggle in me to the point to where in my journey not only is the evidences that i'm finding the theological evidences that i'm having to deal with that no one seems to have sufficient answers for me on but also just looking into adventist culture and and and i'm not saying everything in adventist culture is bad i'm just simply stating for the record that there's a toxicity in adventism there is there's a toxicity in adventist culture and and um many people who are hurt many people who are driven out um and the ones who are stay that are just you know again die hard you know i'm going to go to my grave and advocate these are usually many of them not all but many of them are the those that you that are promoting a toxic environment or promoting a toxic mentality and it's just there's it's very when you travel you will run into and i just want to say this there's so many wonderful adventist people again if you're an adventist christian you think i'm attacking your church and attacking the church and saying that they're all no no no no know that there's some wonderful loving kind beautiful spiritfilled and spirit-ledd people in god's god god's god's church the adventist church and and and among many others church i believe that god's church is in there because i don't first of all i don't believe that the church is an institution i believe the church is a people and and and those people are all over the globe and all over the world and various denominations not just adventism but that's that's a thing also the remnant teaching you know when you go to that that that fundamental belief and you read that and then you compare it to the baptismal vow or that profession of faith that you're bringing people into this church on they have to agree that the 7th day adventist church is the remnant church of bible prophecy i don't agree with that i don't agree that the singular 7th day adventist church is the singular remnant church of bible prophecy i don't see that because what you're saying is seventh day adventism as a whole is the remnant and nobody else in other words there's this us and them mentality that's created in adventism it's this we're different we're special we're elite and then there's all of babylon out there and they just need to come over here to us i've i've always struggled with that because when i sit down in a baptismal clearing and i get to that point i have to i have to now stop and do what many ministers had to do which is hey look um i know it says this but you know we also believe that god's people are not of this fold that he's got not just of this fold but we got a lot of people out there in various churches you have to explain yourself out of things but when you read that baptismal vow the seventh day adventist churches the rem and even again i know the talking points i know the the the culture i've been at the camp meetings i've heard the sermons i've heard the blatant statements behind the pullpit written in our in our literature you know plastered in our our in our uh uh sabbath school studies over the years and and in various books and that that you know i'm proud to be a part of god's remnant church and when they say that you're saying adventism in other words those other people there's good christians out there but there one day when the sunday law comes and all these things start they're going to have to come over to the real church you know it's this it's this toxic mentality of that we're the real ones they're the apostates and and i just i i it's hard to deal with in my mind because if you get out there out of your adventist bubble and you actually go out and meet and talk and discuss and come to learn some of you'll find that there's people that have never darkened an adventist door have never kept a sabbath day in their life have have eaten pork their entire life and guess what have more of the spirit of god in them than many of the people who do all of the adventist things correctly and i know that many of you know exactly what i'm saying is true and i know some of you it's firing you up what i'm saying i get it and you can disagree and i'm sure you do and that's fine but when you take it in man when you go i find myself going from adventist church to adventist church and i'm starting to see a pattern a pattern of this elite mentality this this this prophetic you know elitism like we're you know we're we've got the spirit of prophecy we've got this we've we teach this we teach and it it's yes adventism teaches truth i'm i've not abandoned all of what adventist the adventist church teaches i still believe currently where i am in my teachings and where in my in my studies that i believe that much of what adventist teaches is true i also believe there's a few points that need to be rediscovered and restudied but i'll tell you where the problem lies where the problem lies is ellen white because while the church says we're a bible i heard pastor lomma king say it this morning we're a church on the bible the bible and the bible alone that's not true if he was sitting in this room right now i would say "brother that's not true it's not true that seventh day adventism they claim with their mouth and in their re in their in their literature and in their sermons and you know it's the claim is there oh we're a bi bible only people you're not we're not i can't count on my hands and toes how many times i've took the time to study deeply into god's word and really allow the holy spirit to lead me in bible study to come to a conclusion only to have somebody else close to me that i know to say "oh yep that's actually not accurate." ellen white says "da da da da da da da." and then the final word is ellen white ellen white says "now what's amazing is as i'm saying this many adventists who are going to watch this are going to say "well that's not me i believe that the bible is the final word." well yeah there's a lot of adventists that believe that there's a lot of seventh day adventists that believe that ellen white's a prophet but they don't believe that she's equal authority with scripture but let me tell you something the movers and the shakers and the loud ones in this movement the ones who who move and shake and make this church and the ones who are the most influential at the end of the day i'm going to tell you seventh day adventism their cornerstone is not jesus christ it's ellen white and i know that's my goodness have mercy i just spoke the most greatest apostasy to probably many of you but i'm telling you i've seen it i've observed it i said this to one of my colleagues recently and they about came out of their chair offended that i said that that that that jesus christ is not the cornerstone of adventism it's ellen white and it's i i believe it i believe it's true the purpose in which the reason in which i left 3abn was not over the bible it was over my comment i made about ellen white so let's get to that there's a lot i could say i know i'm rambling on there's a lot in my mind i've had on my heart the last three months i'm going to let some of these things unfold in some of the videos that i'm going to be releasing in in the days weeks and and months to come but i do want to say this i came to a point last year 2024 in the fall of last year um i re i actually um was talking to someone and i'm not going to say the church's name or the conference but i re i i ended up long story short i ended up receiving an offer to pastor at an adventist church now keep in mind i'm already developing a lot of these thoughts in my mind and i'm already seeing kind of the writing on the wall and i know that there's a potential chance that i i i'm i'm going to be making a transition but i wanted to get in a place in my life where i could pay attention more to my health and pay attention more to my studies and you know again this is nothing no th shade thrown at 3bn and 3abn is a machine that just doesn't stop and for the right reasons i mean it's it's an inc it's got f five or several studios five major networks really more than that but five major networks under one roof trying to constantly record i mean there was a lot going on in my life that i just needed a breather and i thought that maybe pastoral ministry was the answer and so i received an offer to pastor the problem was is that at the same time i'm studying things and i'm finding things about unenwide and and certain of our of our teachings that i'm like man i i don't know i it just doesn't seem right to me that i i can accept a pastoral position not in agreement with the 28 fundamentals so i remember calling this uh the leadership of this conference and i said look i i can accept the job for these reasons i was honest with them but i knew in being honest with them that uh this was by the way september octoberish of 2024 i knew by being honest with them that um it was going to lead me to have to come clean with 3bn because i know how adventist grapevine works when you tell one thing it's going to get back to them and i didn't want that information to get back to my the leadership of 3bn and they feel like hey wait a second you've you're having thoughts or challenges about what you believe and and and and you've kind of hid this from us i didn't want that to be the case i'm a lot of things my friends and and i know i'm not a perfect man and i have a lot of faults but i like to think that i'm a man of integrity and and i like to try to be honest in as much as i can uh as far as i know and my conscious mind is aware um and so i i came back from my last evangelistic series of the year last year and um i'm not even going to go into some of the details of another story but but i will say this eventually i ended up in the office of 3abn's administration and i'm sharing this with them i have to tell them i have to come clean look you know cuz they're asking me you know were we the reason why you didn't take this pastoral job because i told them that i was considering it that i might take it and i said well there was part of the reason you know i'm not going to go into now but there was part of the reason financially speaking that that was going to be difficult for us to take a pastoral position um and 3bn played a role in that but i had to come clean with him and i said "look another reason is that i've been doing a lot of studying over the past 2 and a half three years and i'm just to the point where i'm i'm i'm struggling with accepting ellen white as an authority." um do i believe that there are things that she wrote that was inspired absolutely there are things that charles spurgeon wrote that was inspired there are things that uh you just name them name your name some of the ministers and writers and and famous pastors i mean god can inspire a lot of people but to me it came down to authority not necessarily inspiration but authority because in the adventist church one of the fundamental beliefs of adventism is that you have to you must accept ellen white as a prophetist with authority who has authority to correct to instruct to uh reprove and and and all of the things that come along with the office of a prophet if that person is a prophet and the evidences that i'm finding that i'm struggling with things like you know she her plagiarism she plagiarized many people don't know that and i know from an adventist perspective oh no no no the church has addressed this they have a ramik report and they have you know legal you know research done that shows that she's off the hook there and and oh no no no she she she done literary borrowing she didn't really uh she didn't really plagiarize she she borrowed and that thing was common in her day i mean my goodness research it and be honest with yourself when you see what i've seen and you will see if you watch some of my videos it's just the the evidence is just too too clear when she makes statements like you know nothing that i've written you know and i'm paraphrasing here because i'll pull the actual quotes up but she says things like uh you know nothing that i've written comes from the mind of a of a man in the sense that you know everything that god has given me is straight from the from the holy spirit it's fired from god and then you're finding entire sections and passages that she took without quote quoting others without saying that she was borrowing or taking from other writers and and so that was a big one for me the plagiarism thing i mean there's it's just overwhelming that this woman made people believe that god gave her a message that she clearly took from another man-made mind all the while claiming that it was from god and given to her in vision much of which she said "i was shown i was saw or received it from her her angel accompanying angel." i mean my goodness when you get into the testimonies the testimonies are full of them but beside the point that that was some of the evidences i'm also finding some contradictions you know the fact that you know there was she would say one thing over here and say another thing over here like okay jesus is the scapegoat oh wait no satan is the scapegoat well which one is it you're a prophet you got to know these things right uh the atonement issue there's she's got quotes where she says the atonement was finished and completed at the cross of calvary then she's got them over here says "no no no no the atonement was to was more than one phase and it won't be completed until jesus christ comes back in the clouds of glory." and it's like what's happening here i mean these are just minor examples there's many many more but these are things that i'm reading major issues not to mention all of the gospel statements that to me fly in the face of what i'm finding to be in the biblical gospel i'm struggling with ellen white and so i had to come clean with them and say this is where i met now what's interesting is i mean and i i'm going to say this because i feel like i i have the right to um i'm not going to say any names but some of the adventist administration admitted yeah there's things that ellen white has written that it's kind of tough you know we we don't really fully understand them either we we don't really know why she wrote these things and then there was even a time where one particular administrator spoke up and said gave a whole story about how something that ellen white wrote wasn't jing with him and her or them and these other people that this person knew and it it was it was just i started to see i started kind of getting a feeling of in that meeting in the fall of last year i kind of got this feeling like okay maybe they'll understand it seems like they're they're i mean i'm i wasn't expecting them to to take the same position i did but i i'm i kind of felt for a moment like okay they're understanding they're they're getting they're getting where i met like why i'm questioning some of these things um and then i even remember telling them in the meeting i said "look i i understand this this could potentially pose a problem if it does i'm willing to tell you that that that i'm not going to speak on these things i'm not going to talk about what my feelings i'm not going to go on live air and discuss these these differences um i'll keep them to myself and at any point in the future this was the agreement i made at any point in the future if i feel the need to o to let the cat out of the bag publicly and tell people that i don't believe in ellaw white as a prophet anymore that i don't think she's authoritative that i'm struggling with this concept of the investigative judgment and the atonement and many other aspects of adventism or some of the some of the aspects of adventism i if if i feel the need to come out publicly with this i will i will come to you i will resign and i will leave 3abn before i do that and of course the response i got was "well that's that's admirable that's honorable thank you ryan for that." blah blah blah i left that meeting thinking everything's okay no big deal um because in the back of my mind i was thinking that if all goes south worst case scenario um they they may agree to keep me from teaching and preaching they'll take away my teaching and preaching privileges but i'll still get to do music i'll still get to be the general manager of praise himm because again the previous general manager of praise himm was not even 7th day adventist and he was general manager of praise himm for many years so i thought okay well that that should cover me um i i i won't have to necessarily give up my job i can still create incredible music i can still work here until i figure out my future until i figure out where these new discoveries are going to lead me that my job wasn't in jeopardy we go through christmas break now come to january 2025 this is where things get interesting and i'm sure uh i'm going to try to stick to the integrity of what actually happened from my perspective uh and i and i'll i'll i'll give those details clear um about two weeks into january i receive a text message from a colleague of mine in the ministry who was also an employee of 3bn now this colleague is someone who i would share text messages with off and on we would ask questions post thoughts to one another and back in august of 2024 i shared with this particular colleague of mine um that i was studying into ellen white and and i even asked the question to this colleague one day i said "look what is your answer to this is ellen white the final infallible interpreter of scripture in the adventist church?" and at the end of the day she's the final infallible interpreter of scripture and and of course i'm not going to go into all the details but basically out of that conversation i kind of felt like the person was kind of talking out of two sides of the mouth because their answer was "well no she's not." but then as we continued in the conversation it was "well yeah but why would you why would you want to study into something and come to a different conclusion than the prophet she she's the light that god has given you're not why would you why would we take what you have discovered over the prophet?" you see you see the point so in other words she's not the fi the bible is he would say this person said the bible is the final infall infallible interpreter of the bible the bible interprets itself okay but if if ryan studies something in the bible and he comes to a different conclusion than ellen white what do we do with that and the answer was well at the end of the day i'm going to take the prophet over you because the idea is it's in the identity of the person ellen white she's a prophet you're not so that's f so she is the final infall at the end of the day if i read if i study something and i come to a different conclusion than a white and i disagree with what she says then the church is going to take what she says over what i say over what a scholar by the way this has happened before there's been scholars many scholars in our churches who've come to different conclusions only to be met with well that's not what ellen white says so the culture of adventism again many people will say well i take the bible over ellen white i don't mind saying that i'll take the bible or that ellen white's wrong here some people have in fact i've been in the presence of some of my 3abn colleagues when i've heard them say ellen white was wrong i've heard them say that she was wrong on this point she was wrong when she wrote this you just can't say it publicly you just can't go on the air and say that and you can't go on youtube and say that in the comments section which is ultimately where this is going so um january i had this guy this this particular colleague male friend of mine reach out and say 'hey ryan just wanted to follow up to see where you are on your ellen white studies and i came back to him and i said "look i i have to admit i i don't really see her as a as an authority equal with scripture i believe that the bible is the final authority and i just cannot accept ellen white as a prophetic authority." and when i said that my friends that's all this person needed and now comes a tsunami wave of uh of and and i'm i'm not trying to make this person out to be like they were angry or hateful they weren't but the the the the temperature of the conversation quickly changed because we had a 3abian school of disciplehip that was coming up planned and and and and this person immediately said "look we we need to cancel and you need to take some time off to figure your thoughts out." in other words we need to let you take time off so that you hopefully can come back in harmony with ellen white that's what this was it wasn't we need to consider you know that you may have found something and to this person's uh uh credit they did offer to you know talk with me and to study through but i was not in a mindset at that time to do that with what was going on and the conversation we were having but i did tell this person that i would be open in the future to setting up a time to talk with them but this led to one thing after another um i went to administration that same day and uh in fact i even i even got permission from administration to to share my thoughts with this colleague of mine uh because i'd shared it with very few people at that point and i ended up in the office of administration and i said "look you know i don't want this thing to get out of hand i i don't want to cause any issues." and i remember saying to administration that day i said "look if this is where it's going while i disagree with it i'm willing if needed to resign from teaching and preaching because i recognize that on paper i'm not in harmony with all 28 fundamental beliefs of the church and i'm willing to resign from my teaching and preaching duties if if that's what i need to do to keep the peace because clearly the this person who's dialoguing with me in text message and a couple of others that's come in contact with this information they are they're just not having it they're they're uh very disturbed that i no longer believe in all 28 fundamental beliefs especially ellen white in this case so i i shared this with uh with administration and that day that that i was basically told well you know we'll we'll look into this and i appreciate that ryan thank you we'll see what happens and and we'll we'll go from we'll we'll make some adjustments as we need to and then it was you know this time danny i think was off taking care of some three business and it was told to me that we want to wait till danny comes back we'll discuss this together all this stuff and i said okay understand well the very next day was the 3abn day of prayer now if you don't understand anything about 3abn's day of prayer it's when all the corporate employees come together and we have this time of prayer and we have it's a it's a it's a big huge like four or five hour event where we come together and we give departmental reports of what happened last year and give our plans for the year and well they let me give my departmental report you know as the 3abn praise him music general manager i gave my plans for the future all that stuff and i was led to believe from the previous day when i went to administration to discuss the issues that were arising and i was led to believe on that day that my job was safe at least as general manager of praise music network in fact i remember asking like are we good there am i oh no no no you're good you can you can still yeah yeah and i remember them saying you know our previous general manager wasn't was an adventist and and and and we let him be general manager so in this case yeah you just won't you know we we'll be fine well one thing led to another and i eventually did actually submit a resignation letter and i may be getting some of the details in terms of the timing a little off here but i did submit an actual i think it was actually on that monday yeah it was on that monday before the day of prayer i submitted a letter of resignation saying "hey look um i'm going to resign from preaching and teaching." so in other words i won't be doing any theological teaching or preaching on 3ab in air 3ab in tv anything anymore until i and i even put a clause in my until i can uh you know potentially reconcile with these things but at that moment i couldn't and when i turned it into administration they thought it was honorable thank you ryan we appreciate you that was very honorable of you to do that we know it wasn't easy but we appreciate you taking this stance and being able to be cooperative and you know i you know they done they'd done the right thing in terms of communic and then i remember so so but but i can still be praise him general manager right yeah yeah you yeah no problem at all all right friends so that was ryan day and the video i just showed you um is only a part of a whole video a full video i think the video was more than 2 hours but what i have shared with you right now is the crucial part of the video where he shared why he left 3abn and also the 7th day adventist church now according to the video friends which you saw or you heard he had issues or problems with the writings of ellen white and also he had some problems with a few of the doctrines of the church so because of that friends he left 3abn and the church but friends um it looks like he is embracing some of the teachings of love reality i don't know whether you noticed that when he was speaking it looks like he is embracing some of the teachings of love reality saved or saved and that kind of thing friends now you know leaving a particular church or leaving a church because you don't understand some of the teachings of that church is something that happens all right something that happens you know in the bible when jesus christ was on earth friends there were some people that left or stopped following jesus because they did not understand some of his teachings and i want to share that with you in the bible um let's read from john john chapter 6 vers 60 to 66 this is what the bible says therefore many of his disciples when they heard this said "this is a hard saying who can understand it?" when jesus knew in himself that his disciples complained about this he said to them "does this offend you what then if you should see the son of man ascend where um he was before it is the spirit who gives life the flesh profits nothing the words that i speak to you are spirit and they are life but there are some of you who don't believe for jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe and who would betray him and he said "therefore i have said to you that no one can come to me unless it has been granted to him by my father." from that time many of his disciples went back and walked with him no more so many of the disciples did not understand some of the teachings of jesus and they left they walked with him no more according to the bible so sometimes when some people don't understand the teachings of the church which is based on the bible they leave when people leave a particular church they turn back to attack the church and the church's doctrines and that is exactly what i think he is doing and he will do in the future because even when you look at the um name of the channel rethink adventism it suggests that friends he's going to talk and say a lot of things about sdas sda beliefs and others but there was a comment under his video that um was very interesting friends and i want to share that comment with you let me look at it right here um the comment says preaching and teaching something you don't believe for years do you want us to believe you now you know ryan was with 3abn and he was very active in teaching in preaching and uh but not knowing he did not believe in some of our beliefs some of the beliefs of the church friends but he was teaching them anyway but now that he has left and he is saying that and that and that does he want us to believe him how can you teach something that you don't believe friends i don't understand like i don't know i don't know can you explain that to me right now how can you teach something that you don't believe and friends this tells me that there are many sdas many pastors in the church that don't believe all of the fundamental beliefs of the church you know and he mentioned it like i want you to go and watch the full video he mentioned that there are some sdas at 3abn that don't believe in some of the writings of ellen white i don't know um i don't know but friends there are a lot of things that i want to share with you concerning this story okay but it's it's it's so much that i cannot put them all in this particular video so i will share um those things in other videos that will be coming so please um if you want to if you don't want to miss it i would encourage you to subscribe if you have not subscribed to this channel please subscribe so you don't miss any of the videos we publish friends there are a lot more things that i'm going to share with you concerning this particular story so be sure to join us okay join us and uh you're going to know what is really going on in the church and also outside of the church this is all that i had to share with you please let me know what you think about ryan ryan day his decision to leave 3abn and the church his beliefs his new beliefs and whatever he is saying please let me know what you think about that in the comments okay thanks for watching this is your brother lawrence see you next time god bless
