Experiences with the Xreal Beam Pro

Wife and I tried Xreal Beam Pro in a few places. Wife and friends used it on a plane. I used it at the dentist. Wife used it on a road trip. I used it at the grocery store. Wife took spatial photos of her trip with the girls. I let my fat babies watch YouTube on it. Let me see! You got good luck! No, this is called addiction. This is called what have I done. To see if these are any good, Xreal did send us this Beam Pro. But they didn't send us the glasses because they knew we already had one. I was hoping they forgot, but they didn't. Bro, we're going for literally one day. We're sleeping one day. Look at this. We've got another roller bag coming. We travelled with this new Beam Pro. and x-ray glasses to see if it's something we'll genuinely use for facial photos and videos and just travel entertainment. We stopped at the most amazing supercharging spot to charge and pee with a view. Wife watched Desperate Housewives or something like that. What are you watching? Then we checked out this very cute town called Bury. I forgot to pack summer clothes so we bought our girls a very cute dress drank some vodka with the kids then we bumped into this guy with a gangster camera wait wait can you explain what is that? it's a roller fox they call it twin lens reflex and got a free film portrait shot if you're watching this video dude can you like send it to me my social handles in the description then we hit a local zoo touched the kangaroo Touch the koala, touch the rabbit. Then we checked into our funky hotel. Swam in a minus 16 degree pool, then went to an Indian restaurant with our girls for the first time. They haven't tried Indian. Now if they can eat butter chicken, we're set for life. We can go anywhere in the world. On this short trip, we shot a ton of spatial photos and videos. Alright guys, I've got a genius idea. How about I blow my grandpa's mind by showing him his first spatial video? Grandpa, do you have time? I want to show you something. Yes, I have time. Alright, cool. I want to blow your mind with something. Okay. I'll see you soon. My grandpa is 97 years old by the way and I'm pumped to show him spatial video. I don't know it might literally blow his mind. I don't know. Let's go. Let's quickly go over the difference between the new Beam Pro and the OG... Give me a second. And the OG Beam. So the benefit... of this OG beam, when you got these things on your head, you were able to anchor the screen. So I can just like lock the screen here. Now, if you plug it straight into your phone, what happens is you lose the ability to anchor so that the screen is always wherever you're looking. And that's kind of annoying. It's okay when you're like in bed watching a movie whilst putting the kids to sleep. Totally fine because your head's not moving. But if you're in a moving vehicle, if you're on the train, bus, on the plane, like those little jitters is it gets annoying quite quickly. What XRO did with this beam was they put in this thing called smooth follow. Now what happens is it gets rid of all the little micro jitters so it still moves around but it's very smooth so it doesn't like do your head in. In order to do that with your phone you plug this guy into this thing and then you plug this thing into this thing and you've got like 15 cables and it's a bit of a faff. With the new beam pro however you just put your glasses into here and it has the anchor button and the smooth follow and everything. built into this device. So this Beam Pro even though it kind of looks like a phone, it is basically a stripped down Android and you can download everything whilst you're at home, offline. So when you go travel, you can watch stuff. Pretty cool. Now this is an absolute big deal for my wife because her 13 mini wasn't supported. Okay, so the only way she could use this is by using a Samsung device. Honey, if I can't use this with my iPhone, I'm gonna change to Samsung. Which she doesn't enjoy. Or using her iPad which is like big and stuff like that right? So This makes perfect sense. So my wife recently went on a trip and she brought this thing and this thing like like a tech nerd Well in the plane, I wasn't going to use this but then I was just taking this out Taking some photos and videos of my own girlfriend and they were like, oh, what is that? I'm like, oh just wait and see Hey, this is... It would be so nice to see the parents of the children who are far away from their parents Right, right Like they're watching a movie Right, right Like all three of us We're not into tech And then we don't really care what we use But the momni, she tried on it and she's like Wow, amazing Actually, I haven't checked the footage yet Do you check it now? Yeah Oh, this is crazy. Oh my gosh. Hold on. Wow! This was my birthday night. And we went to Jinla. Oh my gosh. I have to save this footage. I like it. I need one more. Yeah, we're gonna bring this to Mongolia. Yeah, I need one more. We may be taking videos in Mongolia. With this! Now, let's say bye-bye to Karina. Look at this! Wow! Look at this! We are officially legit! Thank you to every single one of you guys. This is crazy. This happened way quicker than we expected. This is incredible like we We are thankful to every single one of you guys for supporting us ever since we have zero subs Thank you very much for showing up to every video loving on our kids our family and supporting the mission that we have We're literally flying to Mongolia in three days in three days honestly We can do stuff like this because of you guys and we just want to say thank you and to celebrate our 100k we are giving away the Samsung s24 not because it's a bad phone but because wife doesn't want to use it okay so we're gonna give this away to find out how we are gonna announce the winners and we're gonna do the giveaway on Instagram and X okay so follow us yeah thank you what a journey This is the absolute perfect place to watch a movie, right? Put on some noise cancelling earphones, put the glasses on and I'm set. Guys, I literally just came out of the dentist using this thing. I'm not kidding, that one hour felt like five seconds. I was so sucked into the film. So if you pair this thing with one of these things and you put noise cancelling on, dude, you're not even there in the place. It was mad. To the point where the dentist actually wanted me to tell her what this is so she can get her customers to go and buy it. I am not scared of dentists anymore because like I don't even know what happened like it was done before I even knew but I was sitting there for an hour which is nuts yeah I was actually I'm actually that was actually a really good idea taking this to the dentist seriously. I'm on a trip with my family and I want to talk about my final verdict about this product whilst I'm here because we used it a lot on this trip. Okay, I want to cover a few things about this Nebula OS thing. So Nebula OS is a thing that looks like Vision OS. Oh, sugar mama. When you put these on and you plug them in, it creates these app icons in AR, right? What I noticed was, number one, it has the ability to transform any 2D app on the Play Store into a spatial app. which is pretty nice. So they all feel kind of native. Another thing I realized you could do, I actually finished writing my script and my thoughts on this device and then I realized just then that in the Nebula OS you can actually multitask. So you can have more than one app open at the same time. So you know like sometimes you can be watching something on this side of the screen and then on this side of the screen you can have your emails open, you can have Facebook Messenger open and you can just like look across, type something and then look back at your movie. That's pretty cool. Another thing I learned to later on is that when you look up at the top corner there's actually a M standing for 110 inches and then there's L which is like 300 and something inches screen. I don't know man like back then I had these X-Rules for a while and I used them almost on a daily basis with my phone. This is like a must carry everyday carry for us when we travel. So we are going to go Mongolia literally in two weeks. Oh my gosh we're going in two weeks and when we go we're going to bring this guy so that when we view back the trip from Mongolia it's gonna feel like we're there. For me I don't think the spatial video and photo is the main selling point it's like a bonus that you get with it. The main thing for me is viewing things without having to bring my phone or without having to use my phone and just having a separate device just for viewing things. Check it out we're gonna check out now. My parents told me to not sit too close to the TV so how about this the TV on your eyeballs
