Side Effects

Agranulocytosis
- Represents a lack of granulocytes (low white blood cell count, especially neutrophils)
- Increases risk of infections (sore throat as a symptom)
- Requires immediate cessation if neutrophil counts drop

- Severe rash that can lead to skin death
