Effective Strategies for IELTS Listening Preparation

here and I am on vacation and there's a habit whenever I go on vacation I have my cameras with me and I do some recordings I make some IELTS videos sometimes motivational videos and all that I've come to this beautiful Valley it's a madian valley in savat and savat is called Switzerland of Pakistan okay it's very beautiful we've got River Sabbath I'll show you all these places here well guys at the moment I just want to talk to you about IELTS as you know IELTS is something that has connected you with me all right we are connected because of files you want to get your desired band in aisles and many of you are struggling some of you are disappointed some of you are hopeful optimistic and all that stuff right in this video I'm going to give you some advice about your IELTS preparation whenever you start your IELTS preparation I would advise you to start from IELTS listening module because you know it's natural I mean whenever babies are born the mothers the parents especially they start talking to their babies they start speaking whispering in their ears and then after six months to one year time the babies start producing some sounds those sounds turn into words those words turn into sentences and the sentences formulate the language you and I speak on the daily basis very fluently so in the same way if you start your listening if you start IELTS preparation from listing module you are going to be actually improving your speaking as well all right you are you are going to improve your speaking why and how basically when you do listening and if you do listening carefully I mean when I say carefully there are certain things which you need to observe first of all you need to see how they make Expressions while speaking but in IELTS listing you cannot see that but intonation pronunciation right dialect because you know sometimes it is British English American English Australian English Canadian English so you need to take a look at their dialect as well right and then the sentences and words they speak let me tell you in IELTS it is not necessary to understand each and everything I mean there are certain words and phrases where there are the answers and you will have to understand those words and phrases as well especially in part one and part four where answers are only words so if you understand the words you can easily you can easily find your answers now how to reach where the answer is how to understand that specific word which contains the answer for that you need to see what is given before the answer or after the answer especially in part one there are blanks before the answer there are blanks after the answer okay so what do they do they use synonyms of these blanks and once you understand what type of synonyms they use what type of language they use you will be able to get good bench score in IELTS okay so always start from listening and start from listening part one once you feel comfortable with part for one you understand their their audio because part one is very simple straightforward easy so once you start understanding part one then you can move on to part two part three part four but again remember practice makes perfect and listening is the module which is going to improve your speaking right it's going to impact your speaking the way you speak if you listen imitate if you if you penetrate those Audios in your head for example simple you know we listen to a song right I'm not a good singer but if I'm listening to a song every night in my dreams I see you I feel you that is how I know you go on if I keep listening to this song again and again and again and you know this song will go to my uh unconscious subconscious mind one is conscious mind one is subconscious mind so this song will go to my subconscious mind after listening to it time and again and I'll be working and I'll be doing this oh loving you that you know so this is how IELTS listening is going to go in your head and it is said in terms of learning a language the type of language you listen to is the type of language you speak or you produce so all the best this was a little advice for those who are confused who are those who don't know how to start their IELTS preparation this is going to help you I also teach IELTS online all over the world and on campus in Lahore and recently I've started pte classes as well so if you wish to join me you can be the part of my online or on-campus IH classes my WhatsApp number is given Asad yakub truly wishes you all the best from this new beautiful madhyan Valley take good care of yourselves Allah Hafiz
