what's up everybody Welcome to the channel uh in today's video I'm going to be showing you guys how to set up War Thunder on VR with the Quest 2 pretty simple actually so I'm going to try to keep this tutorial short um but let's get right into it all right to set up War Thunder VR you're going to need three things um you're going to need to get the Oculus app the steam VR app and get the War Thunder VR version which should already be installed if you have the game on your computer so let's start off with the Oculus app um over here I will l link this website in um the description and right here you're going to download this software uh you will need a Link cable or you can do airlink I would recommend doing the Link cable if you want to get the best experience as you're playing so you're going to download this software and go through the setup process I already have it downloaded but um once you get signed into your uh Facebook or Oculus account you're going to have this app and that's really all you're going to need from this and then you will need to get the steam VR app next all right to get the steam VR app um you're going to go to the steam store and you're going to search up steam VR um it should be on here all you're going to have to do is Click play now for me I'm not going to click it cuz I already have it downloaded but um click that and get it downloaded onto your computer and you also won't need to do anything um with that for now and then you're going to need to hook up your Oculus up next all right guys so now we are in the quest headset and from here all you got to do is connect your headset to your computer uh you can use a Link cable or or use airlink I won't be covering airlink in this video but um I bet there's multiple other tutorials on how to do that out there now once you connect your quest to your computer you should get this popup and here you're going to click enable all right guys so once you enable Quest link you're going to be in this uh app here and from here what you're going to need to do is connect to your desktop down here um I have two monitors but my main monitor is number one uh if you have one just just select your only one so now I have my uh desktop here what I need to do is go to my um apps and open Steam VR I I have it uh on my desktop um but if not open it through Steam itself so open Steven VR and let that load and once steam VR opens you should be in something like this and up here if you have the War Thunder VR app you should be able to launch it through here all right now you guys should be in War Thunder VR um you can use your joysticks uh to navigate the menus and start your matches all right so that's how you set up War Thunder VR I really hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did please consider liking the video and maybe even And subscribe to the channel and hope you have a good day [Music]
