Creativity

  • Methods of Creativity:
    • Brainstorming: Traditional method, now considered outdated or just a small tool.
    • Using Existing Information: Visual learning, reverse engineering, and improving existing designs.
    • Exploring Other Fields: Applying concepts from different industries (e.g., construction vs. biomedical).
    • Nature Inspiration: Example of Velcro from plant burrs.
    • Collaborative Methods:
      • Rotating Design: Iteratively improving a design by passing it around.
      • Gallery Method: Sharing ideas on a wall and receiving feedback.
