Now for removing the cast, I just want to be careful I don't cut near the middle ally. Remember, I'm not over padding my casts. I have four layers usually maximum.
Now these are usually second casts. If they're post-trauma casts, you may want to put more padding. If it's right after the fracture and you think there's going to be some swelling, you might want to use more padding. But these casts are usually second casts, or the patient is long enough in their injury cycle that the swelling is... not too existing.
